Fringe,
Honestly Fringe you need to work on your people skills, I have refrained from getting into a word battle with you on your last badly worded reply to me.
Here's your reply last time to me, that wasn't cordial...

here's what you jumped on me on
http://www.investorshub.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=8205215
Now seriously look, I was trying to look at EKWX at a different angle, and for this you jump on me. I'm a newbie here Fringe and I'm learning as I go along. You have disappointed me Fringe. You even got the angle wrong the key word was CLOSE below the 5 MA. I left that alone and even still talked to in a cordial manner. I simply corrected your mistake. Well you stated "If that is the case all your money will be gone sooner, or later." And now you are calling me a turncoat and not owning any shares, do you think I would even bother posting here! Its sad Fringe that you have resorted to personal attacks.
You have gotten too emotional Fringe with this play and in if I can take your precious words and re-state it to you "if that is the case all your money will be gone sooner, or later." And by the way you don't need so much indicators!
I have de-earmarked you and have cancelled your board from my favorite list. Goodluck Fringe nonetheless!

Nice post Nihonto, sums it up exactly. Guess holding shares in ekwx doesn't equal to being an owner. Not good that Godin doesn't have the time to alert shareholders about the PP. A lesson learned!

Breaking out nicely Axios, nice call, wonder how she'll handle .50 resistance. so far on track, imo
Hey Finegan,
Seems like the market welcomed the litigation against Hinke.
Like the increase in volume lately, hopefully this can continue! Looking good for the future. I do know Hinke can be a damper on the PPS since he controls over 10 million shares as according to sedi.ca. He will most likely sell into every run, perhaps. But if Angus and team can do half the things we think they can do, the market will absord Hinke's shares happily!
Would like to start seeing the bid increase for more promising signs! As we know this is a long term play!
Boom
My thoughts exactly Finegan, its much more user-friendly here!
Glad to see you!

Tackler you still following UNB.v, hows it looking? Do you think it can hold .25?
Thanks
You might want to add the .V in tmg.v so people don't get confused with TMG - Transmontaigne, currently when you click on "TMG Quote/Level 2" - it goes to Transmontaigne.
Thanks

Hello Matchbox,

Seems like one can always make some money, just playing the 5 MA, buy when PPS passes the 5 MA, and sell when the PPS closes below the 5 MA. I like what I'm seeing in the tech sector.
In regards to the conversations in the chat, is this open to members only? I tried finding where to go, but to no avail! My goal for is to be a member by at least the end of my 2nd investing year being the end of Feb. Wish me luck! I need it! lol

Wonder if it'll pullback some first
Yes, you won't be able to post, but at least we'll have a great IR person, and you'll be able tell Godin when news should be released according to technicals so we can get a bigger pop, lol!

Anytime Fringe,
Transparency with a pink, that'll be the first .
Thanks for all the DD you've been doing, you've done a fine job keeping us up to date. I know I've been lacking on the DD on this play. Godin should hire you when they can generate some revenues!
Thanks

Thanks for the info goosemeister.
Fringe
Its actually looking for a close below the 5 MA that would be a sell indicator, and that happened 3 days after EKWX topped out at 0046, with a close at 0035. As you may know hindsight is indeed 20/20!
I did cancel my sell order during the first leg for the reason that I felt the charts had more in her. But evidently not in that run. What I do know is that I would like EKWX to show alittle more transparency, it does seem Godin is placing us shareholders alittle in the dark.

A different angle
I've been looking for new ways to figure out fast moving pinks. I've incorporated Wizetradr (5,10,20 MA) & kgoodrich Magic Box. So here goes!

Useful Article # 5: Why Do Bases Work?

Why Do Bases Work? Hope, Fear And Greed
INVESTOR'S BUSINESS DAILY
Posted 7/24/2002
Fear of the unknown can be your biggest foe as an investor. Especially when it comes to stock charts and bases.
You may dismiss charts as quickly as you do palm reading. All those lines and shapes - who needs them? And what's a base, anyway? Too esoteric, too random, too voodoo for you.
It's time to conquer your fear. Why? Because bases work. Always have, always will.
Stocks form bases in step with the flow of the market. Even the best stocks can't go up forever. When the market tumbles, leading stocks carve bases.
Bases play heavily on investor psychology. A base starts when a stock begins to correct off its high. At that point, sellers are taking advantage of investor greed. A stock may be far extended from its prior base, but ravenous buyers are still willing to nab shares.
As a good base completes its left side, it often finds support at a key level like the 50- or 200-day moving average. That's where money managers swoop in and buy. They're taking advantage of investor fear as panicky traders sell.
Whether forming a cup-with-handle, double-bottom or other pattern, a properly behaving stock will then start to climb. Investors rekindle their optimism as a stock forms the base's right side.
In its final phase, a base will include a shakeout to knock the last weak holders out. Often expressed as a handle shape, the stock will drift downward, thanks to impatient investors sick of waiting for the big move.
Once those antsy folks have left, a stock is free to break out of its base, surging on huge volume as institutions jump in and buy.
Of course, it's one thing to say all these things will happen. It's another to let the greatest stock runs in history do the talking.
You'll find thousands of stocks that have formed sound bases before launching their big moves. No matter how far back you go, the same principles apply.
Let's go back almost 40 years to the start of Xerox's huge run. The copy machine maker ran up to a high of 164.50 in January 1963. After a strong prior move, it needed time to digest its gains. Xerox corrected for 2 1/2 weeks as investors took profits (point 1 in the accompanying image).
The stock found a bottom, then moved higher as buyers stepped in (point 2). On March 14 of that year, Xerox came within 0.37 of matching its high, then settled into a downward-sloping handle.
On April 3, the stock zoomed out of its base on a massive surge in volume (point 3). Xerox went on to triple in the next three years.
Ottawa definately took the sails out of Income Trusts, thats for sure!
Tough market overall. To be sideline can be good as well, but thats hard to do, lol!
CREE - one to watch; up 14.8% for the day

ADPT - getting interesting
Looks like its going to fill the cup imo @ 4.50, however caution is needed as the overall market is down. Techs still holding up well though. And look at that another tech nearing the 50/200 MA cross the Golden one.

Motorola sues to block appointment of new Nortel CEO
Last Updated Thu, 20 Oct 2005 10:58:56 EDT
CBC News
Just days after Nortel Networks named Mike Zafirovski as its next top executive, Motorola Inc. has filed a lawsuit seeking to hold up the appointment.
Motorola's suit alleges Zafirovski breached various agreements by accepting his new job with Nortel. Motorola claimed the job will result in the use or disclosure of Motorola's trade secrets.
Zafirovski quit as the cellphone-maker's president and chief operating officer this year.
Motorola is seeking to prevent Zafirovski from working for Nortel for two years, from hiring Motorola employees and from using Motorola's confidential information.
"The lawsuit does not name Nortel (TSX:NT) as a defendant, but the injunctive relief requested is against Zafirovski and his employers, among others," Nortel said in a news release.
Motorola's suit was filed Tuesday in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Ill. Motorola is based in Schaumburg.
Nortel tapped Zafirovski to take over from Bill Owens as president and chief executive offer commencing Nov. 15.
FROM Oct. 17, 2005: Nortel picks new CEO to replace Bill Owens
Nortel and Zafirovski said they are reviewing the lawsuit and intend to pursue discussions with Motorola to resolve the dispute.
Shares of Nortel were down 10 cents at $4 in morning trading on the TSX.
