Dundee may buy ALL $URBF shares for $0.01+ and take it private??????????!!!!!!!! May be ready for MONSTER RUN
You're not fooling me. Short if you want, scare if you want, but at least do it with facts - NOT WITH B.S. about "reverse splits", or the "SEC investigating URBF".
For wingstop...lol...
Gonna jump like it can take direction lol
Lobster and Celine my friend
Let's get it FREEBANDZ
Jumpman Jumpman Jumpman them boys up to something
Fair enough...opinions change
Much more solid volume today
Stop lying, stop switching up.
$URBF
So first it's heading to trips...then it's a bullish flag and could run any moment, huh....
SMH.
Hahaha
If you bought the fear yesterday it is currently paying off
And we rocking.
Waking up
Scared money don't...
You can finish the rest
I hear that.
Even if it means lost jobs, mankind can't just stop developing technology so that "traditional" jobs can stick around, am I right?
Sorry if this is OT, but I saw this yesterday:
http://www.businessinsider.com/almost-half-of-all-us-workers-could-lose-their-jobs-to-robots-2015-11?r=UK&IR=T
Scary stuff.
Wouldn't necessarily say this is news and definitely wouldn't call URBF an MJ play, but my bad for missing this - I could see how you could form that opinion.
I'm not a pumper or anything, so if someone who thinks URBF is a POS and I'm defending it by saying it's an MJ play - I'm not. I just didn't know this interview existed.
Wait, so the President of Dundee is on television talking about medical marijuana.
I definitely missed this.
Maybe they still consider themselves too "developmental" to seek out media coverage...but see, like that aspect, I barely thought about. Water is conserved. Shelf-life is extended. Obviously the no chemical aspect. The obvious controlled environment maximizing production exponentially....
And on top of that trucks driving less distance and polluting less air...I think they mentioned the average distance that produce takes to retail in the video (not sure how accurate it is) but it was pretty surprising.
I really wish this company was covered more in U.S. Media. Honestly, what they're doing is pretty damn humanitarian.
Yeah...I actually saw an article about how Whole Foods is lowering prices because it's getting so ridiculous
http://www.wsj.com/articles/whole-foods-market-profit-rises-on-higher-sales-1430944499
Turns out they are even starting a low cost chain.
OT, but anyone remember that John Oliver episode where he rips them apart because they were selling $6 asparagus water, lol?
They definitely can make enough money off just produce, lol. And obviously they would focus on the most perishables with the most profit margins.
Haaaaa
Knrorrel, you really should edit that message if you can man, there's no evidence suggesting that MJ news is coming. The fact that you said that isn't cool
URBF is not an MJ play.
Hope that helped, lol.
I believe it was sharky who mentioned that Dundee was investing in MJ companies?
Sharky, if that's true, please provide a link, or something.
I only hopped in because I thought we were talking hypothetically, and only said they would've considered it, as in - at least - THOUGHT about it at least as a licensing play, and I ONLY said that because it's a crop and because what's the most lucrative crop you think of that comes to mind? MJ. Basically, it's hard not to watch that video of them growing lettuce, thinking about Cali drought issues - and think to yourself "Man, this would be a whole lot better (lucrative) with weed" like Jon Stewart in Half Baked, haha. Nah - but seriously -
I also said in my past posts that it's unlikely that Dundee would want to be associated....and only in my last post mentioned that marijuana is overall becoming less and less taboo. I also didn't even know about Canada or marijuana legalization. I also only thought further about it because I have seen parent companies be involved with shadier stuff than usual through subsidiaries.
I'm definitely not a pumper - and I am pretty positive that URBF is going to be focused on produce. The only time MJ needs to be mentioned with URBF (IMO) is after they get patents. Then, it could be a real lucrative licensing play.
It would be extremely misleading to start calling URBF an MJ play, because it isn't. So let's chill with that.
Gonna smoke now,
It was bound to.
Not to bash at all, but this stock got absolutely murdered over the past few months. There really isn't a way to spin it. As a result it's oversold and undervalued, which makes it a bargain buy.
APYP.
Referring to a U.S. distribution deal that is supposed to be finalizing.
i didn't make the phone call, so I can't vouch for this.
Hopefully they finalize that deal soon.
If they own over 50%, how much competition could they really be...
Interesting point about Kendall being involved in global licensing deals.
If Dundee is a majority owner, it's not even up to URBF, really, right? They could buy them out whether they liked it or not.
Mannnn....I commend your patience, man. Hopefully this works out for all of us.
The lack of communication is obviously unfortunate. They probably feel like they put out enough news...I will say that when a company has taken the dive they had because of bad decisions, the only time I excuse lack of communication is when they are hard at work to bring the PPS back up, which I believe they are.
The patents would change everything, obviously...IMO.
Imagine how many marijuana companies would want this technology, haha
Patents would really be the game-changer here.
Distribution will be great for revenue, if they strike the right deals. I'm not in Montreal so I don't know how well-known the brand is, but the fact that they broke into the hospitality industry first, I believe was smart.
Their money is going into new machines and from what I understand they want to eventually have centers where they can get produce to retailers in several hours...they definitely have worldwide ambitions, and I know McGill is testing ALL SORTS of produce. People who are saying that this is an idiotic company that just sells lettuce don't really see the big picture.
I really see no limit if they obtain all the necessary patents, though. That's probably the biggest wild card.
Yeah. I do.
At the same time I do have to say...how taboo is marijuana these days, really? Lol.
I don't think they'll do it, I'm sure they would MUCH rather license the technology out to grow ops should they get the patents.
We can only hope that their lack of communication is offset by the fact that they are working hard to improve the PPS.
A lot of sellers I believe will regret it if any news comes out about distribution, or patents.
Personally, I added today.
You've been following it for 6 years? Wow
Like I mentioned before Dundee may not want to be directly involved with something like that, but given that URBF is its own company it may be a possibility. The fact that it may be bad PR for Dundee is the only reason I could see them not thinking about it
IMO there's no way they aren't considering it, considering the revenues it would bring
Very true about most people buying rips and selling dips
Could have something to do with it
Nothing wrong with that...
I just disagree with the idiotic people who call a company trash when it's down and praise it when it's up
Just because you got in or out at the wrong time doesn't say anything about the company..that's all I was saying
Agreed
