Cool. It would be nice for them to get it flying. Wish you well.
My own opinion is if I was watching them since the 90's I would have lost a ton of money on their back yard mechanic company. I hope my small lottery ticket pays off but not betting much on it.
Sorry they would not be at 2 cents if the technology was improved. You must be an employee or investor since 1987.
Save that Brochure from 1987. Same technology and still doesn't fly.
Thank you for the update. What does he mean by "timeline"? Do they have an actual flight date picked. That is what I assume when I read this post. If so what is the date? If not a "timeline" is a real head scratcher.
Really strange they are going the social funding route since it didn't work the first time. Most of their investors are "tapped out" in the stock already. I think someone that thought this stock may have a chance would put $1K into 50,000 shares instead of int a guest at a flight. There is no return with a crowd fund. It would make more sense if they didn't have shares that trade. Lot's of downside to this not working and the optic it creates if it doesn't. If the people that work at Moller can't find 100K from someone they know really bothers me.
Does he give any exact dates to a flight or production schedule? I appreciate the links but hearing him talk about hummingbirds and old news is really boring.
Where did you see the possible November test flight information? I looked for it but couldn't find it.
Fly one off a tether and we will believe you. It is really that simple.
A die cast model, old magazines and some pictures.
Just not in the right direction, but we will see.
Moller has done nothing in a long time. Very few things to talk about. Also why stock is doing nothing but slowly moving lower. Frustrating, but nothing new if you are a long term MLER investor.
Not a great day for MLER. Think the market is actually waiting for them to really do something and stop taking about hummingbirds and growing up as a little boy in Canada. All nice stuff but doesn't fly a car!
Moller is actually the story of The Wolf that cried Boy. Deceptive but trying to talk about all the people that are there to help but actually aren't there.
Yes, I think his hope was to sell the big dream to the George Jettson/ Jet pack crowds and then hope big money would come in and scoop it up. As the days pass I start to think that this company doesn't have much of a future. More of the same BS promises that never come to fruition, and poorly run website and media. I am in it so cheap it is worth watching it go to 0 or doing well. I am having a harder time seeing how it will do well after more deadlines and promises are never happening. You can also tell how the message strings on boards are dying so everyone seems to be loosing interest. I feel now it will take a miracle for this 1970 fiberglass shell painted a nice red with a ping pong table wheel on the front to fly. They haven't even updated the look of the actual car in the past 20 years. It still has the same velour seats in it. Am I missing something people?
I have only been following for a few years but there is a history of taking about doing and then never hitting any dates. Just more of the same, but that is also why the company is basically worthless. They chat up a great story get all of us koolaid drinkers to run it a few cents then don't actually do anything. I guess they keep doing the same thing and I keep expecting diffrent results. That makes me insane according to the definition
I agree. It is quite a jump from the hummingbird story to the story about 10,000 units of sales. No discusion on when the actual 1st one will fly. Yea I think he missed a step.
MLER must not have anything going on the past week. These boards have dropped off to little posting.
If he wants to prove Mr. X wrong fly the damn car already!!!!!!
Seems like we are back in the grove of no news, low volume and little price move.
rwandrw,
Man I am in your corner , but Moller has to actually start hitting some deadlines or it is the same thing different day. Again I hope it works but after all this time we will all die at our keyboards waiting for something.. I like your moxie and hope it is a go, but don't bet the nest egg on it.
Yes. I am in.
Agreed. I have accumulated a lot of shares and at this point am happy with just holding them till it goes or they are terminal. I bought more in the last two weeks. I just think I am going to sit and see if it can go now.
I see your point, but Tesla was $18 in 2010 and $250 today. He had a working model that he was selling at $18. You still made a good return. The investment with MLER now is just lottery money. IMHO I am betting on an idea and not an actual product, Right now there is a few prototypes that are not flying. We have the promise of maybe, someday, soon in a few months etc...,, that there may be one put together. So, I have enough in for now betting on an idea that may or may not ever come to be. But, I like the idea and hope it works because it would be real cool.
I am all in after I hear the Skycar was taken off its tether. A pilot got in it. Turned the key. Pulled the lever ant it went into the air ant then manouvered around in a large radius. Then it lands without any help and the pilot gets out and shakes Dr. Mollers hand.
Seems like progress getting the tail number from FAA>
Low volume day. Last low volume day was 3/26 which was also a Thursday and it went on a longer term rally from there. But we'll see.
I am starved for news on Moller. Or should I say news showing progress. Hope some comes out soon.
Low volume with a penny bid /ask spread. Any thoughts?
Only 1 Million in todays share price. No big deal.
Smarter people than us would already know if this thing will fly. And from what it has done lately I would say they are putting their money to work somewhere else. I have a small amount in it, but it is just a pig and a poke. The history actually does matter in this case. If it was such a great company and idea it would have been bought by highly intelligent at some point in the past. I hope there is funding and I hope something big happens but there have been promises for years and no follow thru. Thinking you will get rich quick on this is better odds than a lottery ticket, but not much. With that said GO Moller!!!!
Nice Call. You put this out right before it moved. Been trying to accumulate all week. Think I will just sit back and see if this can stick now.
Been waiting for news for years. I wouldn't sit and wait for it. DM seems like a nice man, but actually getting an idea to market is not his strong point. Hopefully there will be something soon.
Great point. Also, a lot of volume this morning early.
I don't disagree on the scooters, but actually try to find something about the scooter company on-line. All I find is a website that hasn't been updated in a year. I am not saying they aren't going to use it, but wouldn't you think a company that actually was viable would have an updated web site? Maybe I am missing their site. If you can direct me to it that would help.
Technical or Fundamental trading will not help this stock much until Paul Moller actually finishes something for market, or gets more than a promise for funding. I really like the concept and have for a long time. Are there a lot of hurdles in regulations, finance, buy in , etc...? Yes! But this company has been around over 40 years and is the dream of one guy that is now almost 80. I am long, and have been for years, but at this point it is only a lottery ticket. I am new here and really like all the information this board provides vs. the other boards. Have a great day.
I pulled the trigger a little early yesterday and bought just after the open. Added them to my shares from the last few years. Have a good feeling about it. Listened to Paul Moller last night. Thought he did a good job considering the people interviewing him,
