Nothing at all happening for a year??? Any news??
Nothing at all happening for a year??? Any news??
Thank you for the link.
Thanks for the reply. What was the name of the show? Did they build a new motor for it, or was it an old one? Who attended the show? If it is over did they get any orders? I heard about a show but never heard any details. Sorry but that makes me think it is a rumor like the last 50 over the last 20 years.
I don't think a billion dollars and new management could jumpstart MLER. There are manned electric flying drones, and people landing launched spacecraft. MLER can't even take off in a fossil fuel vehicle. In my opinion it is nothing more than a company burning through its remaining cash, and waiting to turn the lights off. Never hit any deadlines, or follow through on promises. Just a hand full of hangers on that like the idea of a flying car they saw in Popular Mechanics 30 years ago. They can prove me wrong but only a few people actually on the payroll. I doubt if anything actually gets done on a day to day there. 30 + years that have yielded nothing.
Why? Is there something in the air at the new facility that will actually get them to create a working product they couldn't do for 40 years at the old one?
Slow month/year/decade for MLER.
This stock never does anything. Wonder if they will go banko soon?

Hey PP, don't you need volume for thees charts to really mean anything?
I hope, after 42 years, he actually has something new to say.
Wonder if any volume will ever trade?
Same old Moller. We might do something this year.
Anything happening with MLER this year? So far it seems very quiet.
Lots to accomplish in a short time. Not a great 30 year track record to support that, but hope they can.
Agree. But that is a big ticket to fill.
And 80's technology.
Did PM say anything new this time? Any indication on when something my happen?
This is only my guess and opinion. They are probably out of money, ideas or both. They flew it on a stick and string a long time ago and then nothing. I am probably an idiot for staying here but I have made one of the biggest investing mistakes. I have hope.
Busy making a great flying machine and didn't have time for paperwork.
Don't take it the wrong way. If actual analysts that follow companies asked this company questions, mine would look like a cake walk. When they do something good I will praise them. When they talk a lot of smack and don't perform I will speak up. Companies are asked hard questions all the time and made to answer. If they have poor answers they are called out. When they do it for 30 years they go bankrupt. Again, thanks for the feedback and I hope MLER gets their act together because I want to first get my initial investment back, and then make a little.
He hasn't been trying? Then why did he announce they would fly it at the annual stockholders meeting only to come out and say they did't get FAA approval. Hasn't been trying, and not having a car that can fly are two very distinct things. And the reason there are limited finds, in my opinion, is that the company has blown thru millions. Then you hear about deals with China and Alfie and all kinds of pie in the sky things. If you can't challenge someone to get work done and do what they say then you shouldn't be here.
Maybe we can agree that Moller has been around for over 30 years trying to fly a car and never has while burning through millions in cash? It has yet to be seen that he may actually do it, but it will be fun to continue listening to him talk on the radio stations about his dream. Maybe the owner of Tesla can buy it. He knows how to turn a dream into reality. I think it can be done, but not by him.
Ellannzo, you said you are a personal advisor to PM. If you went to the shop on a typical day how many people are there? What are they doing during the day? What type of work do they produce? You would think after all these years something would happen. When you dink around on something for that long with nothing new you have to scratch your head and ask what happens there. I hear the same radio interviews where PM talks about hummingbirds and then goes right to thousands of flying cars. He always missed the most important part of how he may actually get there and the benchmarks he will hit. Don't you find that strange? I am beginning to think that nothing happens at that shop. I am sure it did years ago, but now maybe they just put new paint on the old flying saucer and stream out the same stupid twitter statements that say nothing. I am not living in the past but MLER's actions show no future. My god they were trying to raise money on line after they already have a stock that trades. The smells of desperation, and again why the stock price trades where it does. Stock prices are an indication of where investors feel the true value is and I think they are correct. As far as new engines. I am assuming these are the same outboard motors with a few new parts. The same motors from the 70's and 80's. That is living in the past and why this dog won't hunt.
"ellonnzo", great writing. I hope Moller does well, but Google and Mirosoft had/have leadership and direction. They didn't flail around for 25 years. In my humble opinion Moller would already have outside funding if there was an actual product. There are to many smart investors and funds out there that don't miss opportunities if they see value. I am guessing there is a elevator speech people at Moller give investors. I am assuming this hasn't worked because of the lack of funding. Sooner or later people look at the years this has been out there and figure out something must not be right.I am guessing this company has burned through a ton of cash and still has the same old engine and body sitting there they roll out for pictures. Yes it looked cool in 1985, but looks old and dated now. With all that said I will hold onto my cheap lottery ticket and put it away with the other long shot investments I keep like the Iraqi Dinar. And I put the Skycar at about the same odds of the Iraqi Dinar revaluing which is basically a very low proposition. Again, just my opinion. Anyone investing in this company needs to realize the current stock price reflects what they are actually worth. 2 Cents. Your guess of a $1 by March is wildly opptomistic if not outright crazy. But we will all see and hope it goes there.
Chris, do you think Moller could have the 400 flight ready in a year? Could it actuallly fly off a teacher in a year and perform like it is suppose to? I am just curious and not trying to be a smart A44. I am not sure if he actually has the capability to get it off the ground. His ideas look wonderful on paper but I am not sure he has the money or resources to fly this thing. Just curious on your thoughts. The company seem to be a few guys wrenching join a warehouse and fixing an old 200 with new paint from 30 years ago. They need something big to happen and roll out.
All great points, and I hope so.
after your 9/5/12 post "This Stock is pissing me off." you should have sold yours also. I am only in at about a 8 cent basis so it is play money to me. I am "pissed" also that this guy never accomplishes anything. I think it is ok to be angry at someone and still invested. Don't you? If a person isn't challenge or pointed out their wrongs then they usually never change. Moller needs to be challenged by investors, not have his ego stroked for doing nothing lately, Just my opinion.
Everyone should read the comments below this story. They tell the real story of Paul Moller and his 40 year old car that has never flown.
Where do you come up with this stuff? Contracts? Who would purchase something that has never flown successfully. Nor have many deadlines been met over the last 20 years. This is a dream that is invested in by dreamers. I like the idea but a dreamer has to also be a doer and I don't feel that with these guys.
No November test flight= Another lie by Moller, and a stock going nowhere. These guys have zero credibility after all these promises and failures.
Just listened to it. As always a feel good interview. It is always going to fly next year. Maybe someone should ask him why he never hits deadlines or why he never actually does anything he says? As always he is a smart man, but never seems to get it past a dream.
Their Twitter page is a joke. Very bad artist renderings along with worn out one-liners. They obviously have never learned to manage social media or create a real information source. But it isn't surprising since they have a test pilot doing their secretarial/legal work. Or should i say; not doing it.
If they were a high tech company they would have been aware of the FAA requirements well before last week. It seems to all be talk that comes out of there. As I have said it would be great to see them fly something, anything. But, they just can't seem to get their act together after 35 years.
Yes, but they will continue to go on radio shows and send the same garbage out on twitter and Facebook. They are never going to do anything except talk.
No flight test this year because Moller can not get their act together. This is the equivalent of the dog eating the homework. They are not acting like a real company. After 30 years of promised and no follow through it should not be surprising.
When it gets to $1 that will be a good price move. .02 per share is dismal.
Hope you are right. Filling out paperwork and communication is one thing. Actually flying in November is another. Time will tell, but not getting excited about paperwork not completed yet. Just my opinion. They have never been bad at lip service. Where they are bad is where it counts, actually flying something. You would think after 30-40 years something would happen but not holding breath.
You have .018 to lose if it goes bankrupt. I would like to see more than anything that something will actually fly. But are they flying it off a tether? Will it manuvere around and fly an altitude and speeds? Will they quit putting sophmoric tweets out begging for money? These guys promise everything and deliver nothing. Year after year after year. You must be a cheerleader or employee because nothing good is happening at this company. Are they actually building any motors? What happened to the Alfie deal with the scooters. Was that ever really happening? Just keep going on small town radio shows talking about how close they are, how cheap the stock is and hummingbirds. Nothing to show for it. Maybe if someone actually got angry and held them to deadlines something would happen. But, to many dilusional investors that grew up with the Jetsons wishing for jetpacks.
They are trying to but can't seem to even do that.
