something else. I got away with mentioning another ticker in a post, so I wasn't going to repeat haha
I'll ride till the wheels fall off, im not in heavy, just frustrated with myself. Short term catalysts are still there and if he's able to fire off several in a row and get some running volume we could knock this out quickly and move on.
the folks i mentioned in a prior post offered up some good "moving forward" news this morning if you're after some longer term.
I read it and I don't know where I got it in my head after just looking back at it, but I made a mental assumption those shares were going to be restricted and I moved on since i'm more interested in short-term.
...feelin like an idiot...
haven't heard that before:)
They paid someone to pump this, so the "pr this month" narrative finally has some backing haha Hopefully its orchestrated well like it was back in 14'-15'
Yea, im glad I just threw in a grand or so last week, the Friday release is pretty damaging unless they come out with something this week that's phenomenal.
Well, i don't agree with your statement about it not being real, I think that's a bit ridiculous, but my main point is that he owns or is part owner of marijuanastocks.com, which pumped the beginning of last year for good gains. They haven't put out any articles, so I dont think Midam has done anything yet, which makes me believe there is good opportunity for profit here. Whether it's long term or not is irrelevant to me. Imo, it just shows that oxis has some news in the bag and more than likely sooner than later it will start being pumped from this level.
My only real defense against rampant idiocy is sarcasm.
yea, a proxy delay has never happened with a legitimate ticker...ever...
im a buyer at least in the short term. If I can get this mgt pop out of the way i'll be buyin $3k-4k monday
my thought yesterday with the 860K tform was that it's the MM accumulating to make a base for an upward push next week
The day for news everyone already knows about?
if that type of volume has been regular, than you're right and its just all dilution. Was hoping today was an outlier and may suggest some accumulation from the mm to generate a base going into known positive news in the short term
then my positivity is very ill-sighted:)
sorry i just want to clarify, are you saying that Yes everyday there has been over 500k everyday?
I'm going to be positive here and say the t-trade at the end of the day is mm accumulation building a base.
Being that i haven't been following this for long, have you seen other days recently with 500k+ volume t-trades? I ask because I agree that there seemed to have been enough open market volume in this downtrend to cover a vast portion of those dilutive shares, so why try to hide this 860k or so?
I don't think its going to skyrocket the pps and create a high base, but what he is saying is correct. This ticker will crash pretty darn hard if that approval doesn't come through.
Sandy Lerner co-founded cisco and lives in a log cabin with a bunch of cats and is huge into jousting.
Steve Jobs - LSD and amphetatmines, was known for eating one food for weeks on end then literally starve himself to get "high", he wouldn't bath for long periods of time and soaked his feet in this office toilets
Howard Hughes - Nuts
Walt Disney - Nuts
Donald Trump - Whether you want him and president or not, crazy
Mark Zuckerberg - stole his product - likes to take potential hires on walks in the woods - has a Doug Funnie wardrobe
Bill Gates - stole his product
I like CEO's with a little crazy in them. Just means they have guts.
wompwompwomp
So, in the event OJ Simpson gathered together a collection of high profile sports icons to start a business, you would refuse to invest because he liked to do drugs and was involved in a murder?
i threw a grand at it this morning for funzies:)
apologies for getting off on the wrong foot.
Do you have thoughts on OXIS?
I'm just a normal cat like you. Just sharing my thoughts is all. I'll keep an eye on this fella and may grab a small position to see if this partnership pans out into something worth holding on to.
No, because im not going to spend the time. If you're that knowledgeable then you know the process, you know the success rate, and you've seen the hundreds of other companies fall by the wayside in the middle of phase II and phase III trials and you've never seen a company touting potential billions in sales get gobbled up for mere millions before they even have a trial. This one potentially looks like a good one, run by good people that have moved away from the worst lenders, and hopefully you'll make beaucoup $$$ in its successes. I'm no medical genius in the least, but ive definitely made a good amount of money trading the stocks of the companies in the industry, so im just sharing my thoughts based on past experience.
I never said it wasn't good news, but according to the CEO that's the type of success they planned on, so it's not ultra-surprising. They have an incredibly busy 6 months already planned out and the CEO seems incredibly interested and dedicated to making this a success, which is just another reason why a buyout isn't occurring.
Also, it's a forum....Don't take it personal. I hope you make money, i just see BUYOUT comments and its just a pump in my mind. I think i've seen "potential buyout" probably 50x today and its just never the case. This company is only 6 years old. I spent maybe two hours over the past few days and have gone through pretty much every filing and bit of news they've generated. I'm most interested in the painkiller using cannabinoids because that arena is really, in my opinion, the place to be in the bio sector over the next few years.
Why pump in that manner? There are a myriad of other companies with very low debt and similar market cap that have similar products in Phase 2, there's no logical reason for a company to buy this company out. Someone would have to offer them 100x their current market cap for it to make sense to Mr. Hartman, and even then I think he would be bummed out. They currently have a less than 8% chance of the drug referenced today to make it to market.
The painkiller market is where they see their actual profit coming from to generate the capital necessary to fund the immunotherapy products that is 4-6 years out from potentially generating a dollar.
Partnership for joint venture should be announced within the next week or so.
He indicated in a recent interview that would reveal a partnership of sorts "in the next few weeks". The tone and discussion of his interview indicated that they were not looking for or interested in any type of buyout.
So, Adam Heimann owns Midam Ventures LLC, which Oxis got in bed with back in May for "Public/Investor Relations"...he's also coincidentally one of the owners of marijuanstocks.com, so I would expect to see a pump here similar to the spring of last year sometime soon. Actually kind of surprised there hasn't been anything on that site yet.
Thoughts?
For a PR company that provides "next generation" marketing and advertising, their website is super awful.
got my .32's again. woop!
I still got my lil bid at .32 haha hoping for a quick lil swing down
Mrcraigo owns pretty much the same percentage of shares, so i'm confused there as well as far as the paperwork goes.
WHEREAS, each of William Heavener (“Heavener”), Red Mango Ltd. (“Red Mango”), Kasower (the forgoing individuals and entities, collectively, the “October 2014 Investors”) and the Company are party to that certain Securities Purchase Agreement dated October 14, 2014, as amended from time to time (the “October 2014 Purchase Agreement”), pursuant to which the Company issued 10% Convertible Debentures (the “October 2014 Debentures”);
WHEREAS, each of Theorem, Korompis, Raymond Pribadi, Bristol, Kasower, Alpha, Heavener, Red Mango, Scott Williams, Barry Wolfe (the forgoing individuals and entities, collectively, the “March 2015 Investors”) and the Company are party to that certain Securities Purchase Agreement dated March 12, 2015, as amended from time to time (the “March 2015 Purchase Agreement”), pursuant to which the Company issued 10% Convertible Debentures (the “March 2015 Debentures”);
yea, i guess that's where im confused. They own above 5% and are controlling persons but never had a schedule 13. You are brushing that mark as well.
Doesn't have to be, its just odd that Chris Parker of Beverly Hills, CA represents this firm according to filings, but I can't find anything at all whatsoever on either anywhere on the internet. Generally anything can be found on the internet and this one is baffling me a smidgen. There's no schedule 13 on that either. If that business/individual obtained shares heavily through conversion like you did, does a schedule 13 still have to be filed? You should be right on that precipice or above, no?
It would still have to be registered and I just can't find that company registered anywhere in the states, nor Chris Parker. Just weird to me is all
Generally speaking, if you buy into a stock that late into a AH/PM run, aren't confident in investing in the company, then panic and sell...then you probably deserve to lose your money on that lesson.
They will see there 4.5's soon enough.
top right
Can someone here explain Red Mango Enterprise ltd? I can't find that business anywhere...
For me, your concerns are extremely short-term. I'm investing in brilliant minds with ideas and the abilities to turn those ideas into products that I believe ultimately will generate cash from both private and gov't. If its not MGT, it will be another company, but they are pushing to make available to all what tech security pros around the word have been discussing for years and it will be a new norm. I remember having a similar argument in 2013 when I was trying to get talked out of investing in a new car company here in the states...
You could well be right and if that's the case a lot of people's profits will only be of the 4-5 digit variety instead of the 6-7's:)
a lot of hours left in the day.
Where you at bud?
