He said the news was pertaining to acquiring more land with lithium deposits!
Hoping for some news before the end of the year that can move the needle…
EV stocks heating up again. It was around this time last year ENRT started taking off. Let’s hope for a repeat.
Some lithium news out! Things are happening, and I like it! Great time to continue accumulating these cheap shares now IMO

Shocked this thing never moves on good news. But at least it’s good news. I don’t think it’s dilution though, I think it’s people missing out on a huge opportunity. I still love the potential here.
Gotta knock out these .073s on the ask and we can head toward the 9s
I’m a buyer again down here. Getting hammered for no reason one week after a great news update.
That expired 23 years ago. A lot has changed in that time- it’s much more needed now and would make a lot more sense to build now then it did then.
I love it! Big news. Onward and upward!
I know the market was down today but I’m honestly surprised news of the 3rd provisional patent didn’t have a positive effect, especially that it has to do with water generation. Hopefully people will wake up to the benefits this week and it can serve as a catalyst. I, for one, love what the company is trying to do.
Loved this update today. Great vision for the future and also happy to see the Nevada land claims are paid in full.
No, but my spidey sense is tingling. Wouldn’t be at all surprised to see some news soon.
Love a good Green Day on nice volume!
Remember when you said “last post” a few weeks ago lol. You didn’t seem too happy when the patent filing news came out either, I had a feeling you were probably a shorter.
Always love it when the CEO is buying! Literally putting his money where his mouth is with a vote of confidence.
Government ramping up for lithium production as well.

The unnamed third party is for sure one of the NDAs, otherwise they’d say who it is, but they must be a pretty legit player to have a solar panel that big to run testing on. I think if the beta testing is successful and comes back confirming the value of the technology, this stock could go to $1 or more.
See ya!
AMAZING NEWS! This patent could literally be industry changing technology. Love it!
Thank you for the thoughtful response. I still believe the NDAs will soon reveal some of the missing pieces to the puzzle for you, but I understand your position. Time will tell, until then GLTA!
Urge2surge, I’ve read and appreciated your posts for months now, but you seem to consistently talk about how great cypress while also consistently complaining about ENRT, on everything from management to business plan. You also claim to have sold all of your position right before the big sell off at 14 cents. So I don’t mean to be adversarial, rather I’m just curious- if you already sold all of your shares and also don’t like the way the company seems to be operating, why do you consistently come back to comment on this board? Again, sincerely curious- are you here to secretly pump cypress, are you secretly shorting ENRT, or are you just a concerned and well-intentioned investor offering free advice? What’s up?
Read through the filing from today and it breaks down exactly who owns how many shares, and from what year they were issued. Like I said, it’s a very long filing, well over 30 pages, but the info is all there.
Over the last several years, ENRT has offered previously issued shares and/or warrants totaling roughly 25 million shares to certain people in exchange for capital, which they could claim and/or sell at a letter date, which expired, usually within 36 months of the offer. Many of the shares and warrants were issued in August 2018 with a 36 month expiration. From my understanding, this filing is to officially register the shares and inform the SEC that these parties are legally allowed to sell those shares, if they so choose. Of the 25 million, 11 million of the shares were previously issued, and thus, if they are exercised, would not dilute the stock at all. The remaining 14 million shares are through warrants, and those shares would dilute the stock a bit if exercised and sold, however, the majority of them are at a warrant price that is above the current share price right now, so I don't know that they'll be exercised or sold any time soon, if at all.
One of the positive takeaways if you read through the entire document, which was very long, is they did include a paragraph mentioning the steps they've taken to prevent a takeover.
Anyone else please feel free to correct me if I've misunderstood or gotten something wrong. But long story short, years ago the company issued shares to raise capital, and those shares are now registered with the SEC and allowed to be sold.
Welcome and good luck! Congrats on getting in on what is hopefully the bottom or close to it. Cheers everyone, have a great weekend. Comeback starts Monday lol
Thanks for posting, Risky. That’s definitely interesting technology and hopefully related to ENRT’s pending patents. Either way, it’s a good group to be associated with for a pilot plant!
Hey Urge2surge I remember a few weeks ago when ENRT fell through support at 14 cents you mentioned you'd be looking to get back in around 5 cents from a valuation stand point. Do you still feel that way and are you a buyer at these levels?
Volume coming back in and actually held up relatively well on two huge red days for the market. Hopefully a bottom is in and there’s enough new interest and continued volume to move this thing back up. GLTA.
UPDATE FROM THE CEO - Robert McAllister emailed me back about the hold up with the patents and basically said that the patents are with the lawyers, and there’s nothing they can do to speed things up. He said it’s a respected law firm which means they have several other clients all wanting similar things, and patent approval takes time. He’s spoken to several other CEOs who are all experiencing similar delays, and that this is simply an unfortunate but very real effect of COVID slowing down the speed of business and things getting done. He said they filed the S-1, but beyond that there’s no plan to involve investor relations right now, because there is nothing new to report, so it would be ineffective.
While it wasn’t necessarily what I wanted to hear, I did appreciate his candid reponse. It reassured me of his character and reaffirmed my faith in ENRT for several reasons. He’s being honest about the delays, and the lack of patent news isn’t a shady attempt to hide bad news from investors, there’s simply nothing to report at the moment. But they are still eager to get the patent approved because they DO still believe they have some very valuable new technology. So I guess impatient investors or day talradera may continue to drive the price lower in the meantime, but if you truly have faith in the company and the potential patents, there’s nothing bad happening that should make you want or need to sell. If you can afford to buy more, this might be a great time to take advantage of the brutal sell off that’s occurred. I’m still long. GLTA.
I totally get that. I don't expect the company to release any information that would or could jeopardize an NDA, but keep in mind, we got a release in mid-January announcing the acquisition of the patent, and then they said they brought on 4 new experts in their various fields who we'd be hearing from in the next 30 days with more info on the patents. Not only did we not get more information in the next 30 days, but almost 4 months later, the best we've gotten is that info is coming "soon" and that it depends on the speed of the patent attorneys. I find that unhelpful at best, and unacceptable at worst. Maybe he needs to give his patent attorneys a kick in the rear, but in any case, investors deserve more information on a timeline when dates and deadlines aren't met. Which is why I still encourage others to write Robert an email respectfully requesting answers or accountability with respect to delays on any substantive patent news or filings. Again, the CEO, Robert McAllister's email is:
mcallister@enertopia.com
I do truly believe that they think they have something special with these patents, and also think they weren't looking for a buyout for that land or a takeover specifically because they have what could be industry changing technology. That, on top of owning actual land sitting on lithium, is the gold at the end of the rainbow. The problem is the lack of info and transparency with regards to the patent pending process - and the consistently decreasing share price as a result of investors either losing faith, patience or both. I still love the company's potential and do believe that Robert will deliver in time, but I think he needs a nudge. I've been an investor in this company for several years and I've always found the CEO to be excellent in exploring new strategies, cautiously executing ways to increase value, and remaining at the forefront of lithium extraction technology. However, he is terrible at investor relations. He does typically respond to emails through press releases when there is a real groundswell though. I suggest we all email him today or tomorrow, at mcallister@enertopia.com and RESPECTFULLY ask him to respond to the following:
- Why is it taking months longer than was originally presented to shareholders to get results or information about the patents?
- Is there an actual updated timeline the company can present for when they expect answers or information on the patents?
- Is there a plan outside of waiting on patents that can increase shareholder value in the meantime?
- Is he aware that the company's share price is consistently losing anywhere from 5-20% for every day they remain silent and keep us in the dark?
Does anyone actually know how long patent attorneys take? Is this (what feels like an extremely long time already) an industry standard, or are we being taken for a ride? I’m truly trying to stay strong but it’s getting frustrating as the stick bleeds 10-15% everyday while we just sit around waiting on news and information that we have NO idea when it’s coming.
The only positive takeaway from the absolutely brutal month of unrelenting selling is that it’s all been extremely low volume. So it’s not a bunch of people exiting the stock, it’s just a few people who can’t take the heat.
Almost every day for the last two weeks a seller comes in in the last 30 minutes of the day to rank the price before close. Really getting frustrating. Still waiting on good news!!! Tick tock.
I sure wish these patent lawyers would hurry up. There seem to be people intent on pushing this SP down until news scares them out of doing so.
Maybe I’m a fool but I added 50,000 shares today. I wouldn’t sell unless there was actual bad news that came out. Seems like most people are selling due to a lack of good news. I still believe it’s coming soon.
So how are we feeling about tomorrow? Continued selling or a significant rebound? Anyone else interested in stepping in and buying more at these levels?
Agree that this in not a forum for politics. I don't care about anyone's thoughts on either president, I only want people's thoughts on ENRT and lithium. For what it's worth, I reached out to the CEO today to express my frustration with the delayed news about the patent, as well as the company and their consultants' continued silence as the share price drops. He actually wrote me back and said news is coming soon. Whether or not he's telling the truth is TBD, but I at least appreciated his responding, and hope that he is being honest. Anxiously awaiting what is hopefully good news about patented technology that will be a catalyst to move higher in share price.
An update from the CEO sure would be nice...
I reached out to rhe CEO, Robert McCallister, yesterday imploring him to get some news out. I’d encourage all of you to do the same. If more shareholders speak up perhaps we can get a little better communication from the company and get some positive momentum again. These two weeks of silence has been brutal on the SP.
Q2 Financial report is out now. Hopefully some more patent news to follow soon!
