OK-thanks, Molson. Legendary works for me. 00
Funny. I just had to ask, grasping for any hope that we may see something in the near future (avoiding the "s" word lol).
Gosh, it's been a long wait. I keep telling myself to put this out of mind and focus on other things until something happens. But as the potential of the situation continues to grow in my imagination, I feel myself mentally putting everything on hold until it is resolved.
I'm kind of neurotic that way. :]
00
OK-thanks, Ditch. I remember that one. eom
00
Molson, you say:
"I am of the opinion that the filings we shall see in the next 2 weeks might be legendary as to the substance within the filings!"
Do you really know if it will be in the next 2 weeks?
Thought I might have missed some news or shared emails?
And thanks for all the hard work you've been doing.
00
What to send to AG...
I believe it was either Molson or Mainuh who recently posted some simple correspondence outlining the main issues with BCIT.
Can some one point us to that (or to whatever we believe is the best expression of our situation in layman's terms)?
Art, once we agree on this, you might want to post it in the header. Then the process of contacting our AGs becomes a piece of cake:
1) get web address from Art's list
2) go to web site and find email address
3) customize form text in an email and send
The easier it is, the more contacts made, the more pressure imposed.
00
One thing's for sure, Art. You have a knack for saying a lot with minimal number of words, while not taking things personally and not being offensive to others all at once.
Appreciate the extra info. Will take what I can get. 00
Roger that, coinsguy. Thanks. 00
Excellent letter, coinsguy. It's not clear to me that everyone is in agreement that we should all request certs from our brokers. If we were to resolve to do this as a group, it would make sense for you (or imsoweary) to craft a template letter for the initial request and see if Art is willing to post it in the header. Then when we all get our bum replies, we could use the second letter (the one in your post) as a template for "phase 2".
00
alynnb, Sincere thanks for hanging tough enough to achieve this response from TM. It is a culmination of the perseverence and integrity you have demonstrated on this board for many many months. May we all receive positive info next week.
00
All you have to do is step off of treadmill. Should be easy. It's not going to fast right now. lol
00
Hmmm. Concerned for you I am...
"And I AM on the other side. I place my faith in the government agencies that regulate or govern securities... so I'm DIRECTLY opposed to the sentiment on this board."
Proliferating defiance of logic are your many posts.
00
Ahh. Makes sense now. eom 00
You sure you aren't reversing your values here?
$100,000,000 / 525,035,229 shares = .19 per share
00
Let's hope you're right, then. Aug 11. Sign me up. lol
00
I'll bite, Karbin. Whimsy or logic? em
00
Hello Clarity789...
Really got nothing to say.
Just read a few of your posts and thought I'd reply in kind.
:] 00
OK, based on the info you pasted in your message, it looks like it hasn't been published yet.
The July 3 publication now considered irrelevant is the latest item that comes up when I search with "regulation sho" key words.
And if the info in original PR stands that it won't be effective until 60 days after publication, then perhaps that's where we ought to focus our efforts, imo.
Need to find some contacts at SEC to query about this. What the hold-up is, etc.
00
Here's the link, however...
http://frwebgate6.access.gpo.gov/cgi-bin/waisgate.cgi?WAISdocID=20889570383+0+0+0&WAISaction=ret...
the more I look at this, it doesn't specifically include the grandfather provision. Rather it references the original press release. If you search on "grandfather", you'll see what I mean.
Any help on clarifying this is much appreciated.
00
Grandfather provision...
Just to clarify when this becomes effective.
The June press release from SEC stated, "The amendments [including grandfather provision] will be effective 60 days from the date of publication of the amendments in the Federal Register."
I searched the Federal Register and found the publication date to be July 3.
So the references on this board to an "August/September" time frame are actually referring to September 1, which is exactly 60 days after July 3? Or are there other subtleties I am missing?
Thanks. 00
fyi, I sent an email to OK City Court about the sealed boxes a while back. Finally got this reply today, which doesn't reveal much. I did this through a blind email form on the web site, but apparently the address was tied directly to a Susan Keltch. If anyone wants to follow up, her address replied as Susan.Keltch@oscn.net.
Here's her short reply...
The boxes were sealed by an order of the Court. It would take another order of the Court to access the documents or the boxes or any information about them.

Subject: Case question
Before it was dismissed, I was a defendant in the case, Bancorp
International Group Inc v. Cannan, Michael W (No. CJ-2007-3181).
On the case's web page, I noticed a 06-22-2007 entry to the docket: 2 TRANSFER BOXES AND 2 EXPANDABLE ENVELOPES FILED UNDER SEAL LOCATED IN EXHIBIT ROOM BIN 258.
Can you explain to me (at least in general terms) what these boxes are about? And since I can't visit the court, can you describe them further (how big)?
Sincere thanks in advance.
Dude... eom
00
alynnb, it is definitely frustrating to wait...
Here's the current spin I keep trying to sell myself:
We know Sir Thomas Megas Maximus is not going to suddenly abandon this effort after all he has done so far.
If he were facing new dead ends in the pursuit of his glorious objective(s), he would likely be able to give us hints about these problems and his plans to get around them, new time estimates, etc.
If he had been ultimately dealt a death blow with no hope of meeting his goal, surely he would feel free to talk to us so we could accept the pain and get on with our lives.
So the silence (although excruciating) must be a sign of progress. Things may be so close that even he is wary of messing it up with an external communication.
Now having said all that, I should clarify that I am definitely exhibiting symptoms that could be associated with anxiety, depression, if not total insanity.
00
blah blah blah. em
00
Saw buncha posts, excited, clarity789 nonsense, letdown. em
00
Gotcha. The little birdie's a hitman. lol em
alynnb, fwiw = a lot. Will take anything I can get these days. Thanks for sharing, keeping hopes high.
Any chance you could tell us what line of work the little birdie is in? ;)
00
I'll be right there with you (going WACKEE).
I'm starting to think Sir Thomas Megas Maximus may have encountered new roadblocks, maybe more delay.
At this point, I would prefer that kind of news over the silence.
Haven't lost faith. It just hits you once in a while how Herculean this mission is for BCIT.
00
Thomas Megas Maximus is our redeemer! em
00
He can be MY friend any day. He cancelled that little law suit thing and we've long ago put it behind us--bygones and all that.
lol
Given the business nature of our relationship, I wouldn't blame him if he opted out of such a platonic arrangement to remain Sir Thomas Megas Maximus to me. ;)
00
All hail Sir Thomas Megas Maximus! ;)
What the heck. It's time to lay it on the line, sports fans. There'll be no uncertanity in my corner. lol
00
ha! good for you. lol em
00
Neato. Finally something new to discuss. ST won't let me do anything... yet.
00
Excellent, 500. Sent to Megas also? Thanks. em
lol. Fair enough, dkgross. em
00
My mother is English. Why don't you keep your biases to yourself, thank you.
00
You say Megas tried to sue you. So you own shares of BCIT?
00
Or brilliant Englishmen. Ain't over yet, imo. em
Wow. lol em
Apologies for another post I see Art had to delete. Couldn't help myself. Must gain control. Must set good example.
00
Are you the pot or the kettle? lol
