Enough with all that common sense and reasonable discussion about Tweed as a functioning Corporation. Bonno only has time for school yard bullying , so you should get in line like all the other investors and happy clients of Tweed and take your lumps.
On another not, I must say, even with all the rational points and remedies brought up in the SCC Smith V Queen case, and the panels excellent track record for standing up to the Harper Cons, the margin of doubt for victory is still there, even in tweeds MD &A, where legal issues with health Canada is Highlighted in the key risk factors. That IMO is more important than the quarterlies at this stage of the business.
Wow, thats an awesome menu. Looks like a futuristic picture of what Tweed can produce when Smith v Queen comes through... and If Tweed were to offer the same price value, the revenue of the company would skyrocket. In there last MD + A report, they did anticipate lower prices though with the expected market saturation.
Its a shame these CC's are selling there product for $8 a gram
Bubba Kush THC ($30/0.5gram, $60/1gram)
Purple Kush THC ($30/0.5gram; $60/1gram; $140/2.5gram)
Tranquility Oil ($45/1g;$110/2.5g;$215/5g)
Snake Oil (10ml/$60; 50ml/$285)
when Bobs exclusive CC are giving it away for free to sick canadians, like its a shame pharmacies are selling pain medicine when Bobs cc are giving it away for free to sick canadians, like its a shame Grocery stores are selling food while Bobs food banks are giving it away for free to hungry canadians.
Im giving away Weed, everything I grow to anyone that needs it. Thousands of kilograms. $0 . Come one, come all, just like the food bank for food, but instead Im calling it the Weed Bank. My goal is to put every LP out of business, Like the food bank puts wholesale farmers and healthfood stores and every Walmart out of business. just like the cc will do to tweed. What an awesome plan. Does this sound reasonable to you?
How about being intelligently proactive. Write a letter to Rona Ambrose expressing your views on this pressing issue. Invite the 40, 000 or so members of the cc to do the same and post a petition online or here in this forum for the public to read. Here is her web page contact. Tweed is not the father or the author of your discontent. Look forward to your submission.

Then My Friend, by your own conclusion, your issue is with the regulatory system and not the companies themselves. These LP's are waiting in line to be on the right side of the law and provide pure extract or what ever median one prefers to ingest there medicine. Kudos to the brave stand up Canadian citizens fighting the courts for access to medical Cannabis and recreational, BUT, can you not see the redundancy in fighting among each other. No different than the Vancouver street gangs fighting for turf when the market is large enough for healthy economy.
Still , a regulated market , in my opinion is best for this country. You can always grow your best, like people have always done, just like moonshine, invite your buddys over and consume. Cheers
my question to you is, when you purchase bud, from cc or wherever does it contain a stem or not. when your giant bud is weighed, are there any stems at all in there. when you used to buy an ounce of bud before the age of entitlement, was it a bag of crystals, or a bag of bud with useless plant matter and a few major or minor... stems?
No Stems? Really? Look at his Mona Lisa Bud. Its held together by a ...Stem. and when you buy from a cc, the smaller bud is held together by a ... smaller stem... unless your cc has developed a stemless producing bud.
Is that a stem I see on your most coveted Giant Bud! Man your dealer robbed you and should suffer the same fate that you curse the LP's for accidental stems in their shipment.
81 Blunts a day? This is Ridiculous...Man think about what your saying... 81 Blunts... there is 24 hr in a day. of which the average human sleeps 8, leaving 16. Your saying its common for someone to smoke over 5 blunts an hr, every hr of the day...
I was considering your points until the veered into Ridiculous.
Dont worry Friend, if its pure extract you want, tweed will deliver when you vote ABC, anyone but conservative. then exercise your choice to not partake in Tweeds Outstanding Product
P.S Every MMAR video ive seen shows users throwing Beautiful buds into there pots, bongs... what ever... twigs and all... And isnt it a fact that ALL PLANT MATTER iS USELESS? come on friends. the battle is with health canada, rona ambrose and the conservative government. Not Tweed
Have you never , ever, ever, ever ,ever had a twig hold together your giant bud...with itty bitty stems somewhere in there when you put it into your grinder ... when did Cannabis users become so holier than thou.

Quote. from Bobs recommended video @4:38
Quote. " Make sure you hold the compassion centers to the standards of the MMPR, Cause theres nothing wrong with the quality standards. Theres just something wrong with people making excessive amounts of money off sick patients when we could just have smaller local networks that provide for them and build an economy in that local area as well.
Sir I think this post is not favoring your anti mmpr regiment. Tweed is a large scale pharmaceutical company, that frankly isn't making nearly as much money as the Vending machines selling the same product in Vancouver. Sorry Adults, But your fooling yourselves it you believe the mmar providers are not making money because that can afford to sell product to you a few dollars less than mmpr. its an economy of scale.
Also, Tweed would gladly make extract product if it were not illegal to do so. Also, you still are afforded, by the supreme court of Canada , the ability to grow your own at no cost or pay a grower or purchase at a compassionate club at what you consider to be lower costs. That is very good for you and all Cannabis Users. It is not good for Tweed because these are the clients the MMPR need to lower there costs. So instead of Bashing Tweed, please continue to use the MMar system because its benefiting you. And I am certain that if the MMAR is removed and cannabis users do have to go to the mmpr that the cost will be lowered while the quality will improve. What happened to a friend with weed is a friend indeed? and by your own post submission, tweeds weed is good! Happy 420

Sounds like a nightmare for the Neighborhood and the numbered Company. Every corporation should also strive to respect communities and the citizens it hopes to do business with. I'm sure, regardless of the industry or product, no neighborhood would like a "fort Knox" like prison complex of any kind in a residential zone...And then there is Tweed, Led By Bruce and Chuck, who diligently sought the co operation of the town ship of Smith Falls, the Local Police department, met all Stringent Government codes and enhanced the economic an d intrinsic value of Smith Falls. Clearly and front runner in the types of positive change that will eventually Normalize Cannabis in Canada, Medicinally and ... cross fingers... recreationally
Why are there so many Trolls on this board!?
Im wondering why some one who does not want to see the LP's succeed spends so much time on an investor board to protest? Those efforts are better directed to the local MP. Seems like such a waste of time?

Acetaminophen for back pain brings no benefit, review concludes
Just because acetaminophen helps headaches doesn't mean it will work for back pain, osteoarthritis
Machado and colleagues analyzed three clinical trials and confirmed that acetaminophen is no better than placebo at treating low back pain.
yet still , Doctors and drug makers pharmacies will and are still recommending it. Personally, I havent had any success with this medication for back pain. Personally, I prefer Cannabis.

Stray
If we were allowed to use compounded cannabinoids this would be a non-issue. Absurd restrictions.
eversmanni
@Stray
But now you can, but more to the point people must take their lives back and do what's right for them regardless of who says you can't do this or that. It's your body, don't wait for others to give you their approval first, your the one in pain...do it for you, I did and now have a relatively pain free life back and haven't felt this good in many years.
The Newf
@Stray
You might want to try ibuprofen instead of a narcotic. Unless of course, you just need a reason to get high.
namely me
@The Newf
Cannabis is not a Narcotic, FYI. Pain killers cause liver damage (you did read the article?) Cannabis causes no such damage. Why am I not allowed to choose a safer route in how I deal with my arthritis?
Legalize
Tax
Regulate

@Ron Alberta
Typical mindless suggestion
logicandreason
@namely me Has cannabis been subjected to the same efficacy trials as acetaminophen?
ellen
I would like to know the name of the doctor in Toronto that would allow me to try cannabis.
I have done everything else and am in line for an injection that might help but will probably eat up my bones.
CoryBarnes
@The Newf Cannabis is no more a narcotic than Ibuprofen is.
CoryBarnes
@logicandreason Well considering how long acetaminophen has been on the market and how long it took for it's liver damaging properties to come to public attention I'd say acetaminophen has not received nearly the effort cannabis has to link it to health problems.

ADHD drugs to add suicide risk warnings
This is what Health Canada and Brainwashed society will happily prescribe to children... While they fear monger MJ edibles. Who Invented the Diagnosis ADHD anyway? probably dont have to look further than the researchers and doctors who prescribe it the most.
Children are supposed to be active and bored by Adult stuff, their kids. Its not attention deficit, its imagination.

great post. Public needs n honest approach to MJ. Certainly in Medical terms and for every ones benefits , in recreational terms. Better for everyone. All good if Connoisseurs claim they can grow the best bud... but like fine wine... can it pass the test?
Regulatory Risks
The activities of the Company are subject to regulation by governmental authorities, particularly
Health Canada. Achievement of the Company’s business objectives are contingent, in part,
upon compliance with regulatory requirements enacted by these governmental authorities and
obtaining all regulatory approvals, where necessary, for the sale of its products. The Company
cannot predict the time required to secure all appropriate regulatory approvals for its products,
or the extent of testing and documentation that may be required by governmental
authorities. Any delays in obtaining, or failure to obtain regulatory approvals would significantly
delay the development of markets and products and could have a material adverse effect on the
business, results of operations and financial condition of the Company.
Change in Laws, Regulations and Guidelines
The Company’s operations are subject to various laws, regulations and guidelines relating to the
manufacture, management, transportation, storage and disposal of medical marijuana but also
including laws and regulations relating to health and safety, the conduct of operations and the
protection of the environment.
Health Canada inspectors routinely assess Tweed and Tweed Farms facilities against MMPR
regulations and provide the company with follow up reports noting observed deficiencies. The
companies are continuously reviewing and enhancing their operational procedures and facilities
both proactively and in response to routine inspections.
The Company and its subsidiaries endeavor to comply with all relevant laws, regulations and
guidelines. To the best of the Company’s knowledge, Tweed is in compliance of all such laws,
regulations and guidelines.

I tried to find the document where Tweed mentions Health Canada requirements that EVERY PLANT IS TAGGED AND INVENTORIED FROM SEED TO DELIVERY. Every gram of bud or shake is accounted for, passing and/or exceeding regulation requirement. 87,138 grams in Q3 alone, and 75,000 grams from January 1 to February 17,2015 all accounted for. This is no MoM and PoPs operation. Tweed is in compliance with very tough regimental standards. At the very least, the company deserves a Hoorah for hitting the ground running and taking Medical Marijuana to a "higher level." Pun intended.
There is no safety net or recall system for the dispensaries, hence there has never been a recall or data points to reference. In the least scenario, there must be an equally safe system for any publicly distributed food or drug. Perhaps one of the reasons the corporations aren't able to compete with dispensary prices is because of the unequal playing field in terms of regulations and accountability. The Health Canada record keeping regime for companies like Tweed is enormous and costly. It is after all a regulated public pharmaceutical corporation. accountability first. We can all make moonshine and share, but some people want a regulated brew.
