Agreed. There is no money. They are resorting to hope and maybe someday now for PRs.
When do the horses begin?
Lol you think the De Novo is going to be approved for the 4th time?
I'll help you out a little. It won't
See this was submitted with animal trials already
See this was submitted for De Novo before ADMD / RDGL had it too = same result
Meanwhile Cadwell is making money form this. God bless him for making money on your heart strings of hope
Lol. The horses haven't even begun yet. Those are required. You don't really think this will continue for another 18 months like this do you?
Look at the bigger picture, long or short.
What has the company done within the last 84 months?
Why would it change now?
Actions speak louder than words
Person in charge of accordance for finance is leaving. lol
Why does the Powerhouse look the ugliest of all these? Also, Hanergy's solar shingle is gorgeous.
https://arstechnica.com/science/2018/10/five-solar-roof-shingles-that-arent-from-tesla/
Im advocating that the more time RDGL takes the more other products come into play
Whenever someone starts using FB as a source for a company it states everything I thought about their side of things is as true as I anticipated.
Yeesh
Ferrofluid. Already approved for human use. Yet another reason why Caldwell is ducking around this company loses any potential market share it might have had.
The balance sheet disagrees with you
Tesla has less than 30 solar roofs installed in 24 months including California. Avg size 5kW. 50mW-150kW = RGS is lmao
Tesla which has an international footprint on multiple continents, much better marketing, and honestly a significantly more attractive product.
How many installs RGS got again?
Not orders or roofing company agreements bc that means nothing.
Lol this is incredibly f*cked
Tic tic on that ITC. Only 6 months left to sell 50mW of solar shingles lolol
Well the Cali solar bill just got eviscerated. So much for rgse
The efficiency for this if you read their report is between 15-17%. Keep in mind this is substantially less than what Panasonic, LG, Trina, Sunpower, Solaria and many more are currently selling with with PERC technology coming out for late Q2 that will push efficiency for mods to 24% for available inventory. The technology isn’t good enough for solar shingles today. Just like, energy storage and batteries are still not where they need to be to be sold residentially. It’s still a few years off. With the 30% ITC dropping to 0% as soon as 2022...RGS is too little efficiency too late
The license with Dow is only for 60 months and they have to hit minimums in order to keep it.
Rocket greetings,
The stock is trading at a valuation that is still too high. The management here at RGSE is sub par. They are NOT respected by Wall Street or by those within the industry. Also, the fins here are dogshit
Lastly, the product (solar shingles) are substantially less efficient than current solar panels currently being shipped in the US let alone overseas.
If GAF (largest roofing company in the world) cannot make their solar shingles work and if Tesla which has a bottomless pit for funding cannot make solar shingles work with their marketing and Elon out front pushing solar shingles.....a small company like RGS has no chance and RGS' shingles are far less attractive than Tesla's.
These are real and open reasons as to why this is trading where it is. That and they are about to change the SS while raising the AS
If telling the truth about this company and stating facts from their own balance sheet is bashing.....perhaps you're invested in a shit company
I don't think many are waiting for the split itself so much as to see what happens post split. Every time this has it has sank afterward, considerably too.
A split isn't going to save this.
Sure bc they wont pay it back anyway right?
5M injection is only good when there's revs to pay it back or if they took equity so it didn't have to become debt.
That is NOT a good idea for this company at this point in time.
So where / what was the good news for April?
Starting over-with much more debt. Bc somehow to some people that’s an advantage than actually starting over from scratch
posting facts won’t help here. We all can see it, except a very few. I wish them well but they’d be better served accepting their losses here and moving on
It’s building so it can dump when the news comes out.
Hurting a shareprice by telling the truth isn’t hurting the company nor illegal. This inept management does a fine job of doing that. When America’s first solar company can’t compete or be profitable doing the very one thing they were first at....their actions say way more than my writing ever could.
Lolol 14-17% solar shingles that cost more.....yea....we are all worried.
Excuse me while I get back to pushing Sunpower’s nearly 23% monochromatic all black modules
Lol telling the truth to potential investors hurts your cause. It’s also why this stock has tanked and is trading for pennies instead of dollars.
What’s the current SS?
That is honestly less attractive than modules which have cleaner lines, much less breaks in an overall seam, and more consistent lines. The jagged rows are what ruins it.
By shingles that are 30% less efficient while being 1.4 times as costly?
Elon thought the same thing
Tic tock ITC
Nice to see that someone else here gets it.
Yet some continue to post away like everything is great and then blame those telling the truth and that actually work within the industry.
Strange. If I was invested here and someone that was from within was telling me info that was true and aligned, I would ask more questions.
Must be easier to play ignorant and pretend that they haven't lost money as this swirls the drain
The company isn't respected in the industry and the management is laughed at in solar
And? The guy spent a few thousand.
How many more months?
It’s going down monthly and lost an embarrassing amount of share price. I could buy or sell any time. What am I scared of exactly?
And with that remark as to the question as to why this should be a good week, it’s apparent you have no reason to post that other than being underwater and hope.
Like we already knew.
Your “15-17% efficient” shingle that costs double has sold 113. You think that’s good and it’s only bc it’s new. It’s not new. The solar shingle not only has been out for years but been out around the world. If Elon, one of the best marketers on Earth can’t successfully sell this concept with their massive following, Elon fanboy club, billions in funding, hundreds of thousands of existing customers, and let’s be honest their solar shingle is far sexier than this one....and they can’t sell. RGS and Dennis with his sub par talent is failing. You ever stop and wonder why Ford sold so many cars eventually? It’s bc they were providing a product that was needed and more efficient means of travel than the horse. Has nothing to do with the looks. In this case RGS solar shingle is substantially less efficient and significantly more cost. It’s def NOT needed and finally the newest panels are cracking 24% efficiency. Damn near 10% more. All while the shingle is, and I quote: 15-17%. RGS will not invest the funds to...because it literally cannot afford to.. to even redesign let alone execute a full overhaul on a laughable 113 units.
7 months until the ITC decrease. Tick tock
This stock is now fucked and the share price shows that nobody has interest daily or with a positive outlook.
Lastly, the Hanergy shingle is not only sexier but I believe (unsure) more efficient.
Between Hanergy, Tesla, RGS, CertainTeed, and GAF
doesn’t perform the best
has the smallest company brand behind it
least funded
Least attractive
Is in real position to lose it when they don’t sell enough
Has the highest cost to outsource the manufacturing while trying to sell it for the cheapest. - lower margin than competitors. The competition all agrees that this is a premium product and is charging accordingly. Imagine if Ferrari did this? It’s another reason why the industry doesn't Dennis seriously. It’s because we know he thinks he HAS to do this. He’s inept as a solar industry CEO
I stated they don’t manufacture it. You asked for proof. I then have said proof. You then stated you weren’t arguing against this.
You’ve been shown wrong yet again. Your hope is all there is here. Each time facts are shown or opinions from those within the industry they are not in favor of this paper elephant company. Looks good on the outside but there’s nothing there.
6 months in and they haven’t sold a single MW yet. Jesus, this is fucked
When the SEC filing you posted also states “We have engaged third party manufacturing” - proving you’re own argument incorrect.
Epic
Also see facts from from Vikram and my friends at Energysage. A govt sponsored ( sunshot) third party review, bidding, and informational site for solar. Here they clearly state that Dow in fact manufacturers the shingles and the license exclusively is for marketing and distribution.
https://news.energysage.com/rgs-energy-now-installing-dow-powerhouse-solar-shingles/
You were so sure, without any proof. Interesting
There is no crystalline manufacturing plant in Colorado and you failed to mention the address that must be listed on the SEC filing. RGS does not actually manufacture the shingles themselves. See, I knew this before I posted that to have you step right into it. You posted a paragraph that states we manufacture in a subjective term meaning they own the product while it’s under the license agreement.
RGS doesn’t own a polysilica plant period. The actual process in which solar cells are made. The Ingots and wafers are not cut or installed in a facility owned by RGS. There are less than 2 dozen factories in the US and where each one is, is well documented. You would also have read in their filing in the last year or in the news RGS had purchased a very large or built a very large facility and over 70M in dryers, has mat storage measures, wafer cutters, and s massive supply of silica. They haven’t. They are controlled haz mat facilities. You are incorrect and you have been baited.
Cheers
Lolol no he’s not. He got a great parachute when he exited corporate. If you’re going to the length of telling us he’s broke eating PB.....
Walking to work....the guest bedroom?
Company’s curing cancer but can’t attract funding. Excellent
Provide the address in the SEC filing where they legally tell you they are manufacturing them in house.
RGS doesn’t have a a manufacturing facility where they physically make the shingle. They aren’t manufacturing them. They own the rights and are having someone else manufacture them. Imagine how dumb they would be to acquire a building, acquire the tooling and hire the people for a product they will ultimately lose in less than 5 years.
Saying they are selling faster than can make / and def Install when they’ve only sold over a 100 is a major problem. The big guys in this space install over a 100 systems a month...in each state the are in. RGS being in 10 states...113 systems is a very low number. That would actually make me more concerned.
How do you figure? They are out of the solar panel industry. Literally nothing matters anymore as they are in a industry now that has almost zero demand
