EK..Oops, I inserted a wrong link…I am sorry!
too many iHub links in my window and apparently grabbed the wrong one I suppose? Again, I’m Sorry!
As you already know I typically use the bottom of the first page of a Company’s 10-Q filings to get updated on the Company’s O/S numbers. I am not accustom to seeing “par-value” mentioned there… on the bottom of that page one… only use to seeing the O/S numbers per calendar date. I simply found it new/strange that a “par-value” of $2.50 being designation there?
You found that ATW is filing similar “$/par values” on the bottom of page one of their 10-Q’s, aye? I’ll take a look at that….thanks!
Have a Great Weekend, J!
EK hummm, I just noticed something while looking at the last few 10-Qs with the thoughts and intentions of trying to simply determine how the O/S via A/S are playing together to find………
J, My Brain Locked Up in that I'm feeling silly and somewhat stupid, I don’t know what the follow means? Are each of these 10-Q filings disclosing Common Stock, $2.50 par value?
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/board.aspx?board_id=19016
...Bottom of each first page...
10-Q File date 4-28-2011….Indicate the number of shares outstanding of each of the issuer’s classes of common stock, as of the latest practicable date. Title of each Class Number of shares Outstanding at April 21, 2011. Common Stock, $2.50 par value 269,038,172
10-Q File date 10-28-2010….Indicate the number of shares outstanding of each of the issuer’s classes of common stock, as of the latest practicable date. Title of each Class Number of shares Outstanding at October 22, 2010. Common Stock, $2.50 par value 268,876,597
10-Q File date 7-28-2010…Indicate the number of shares outstanding of each of the issuer’s classes of common stock, as of the latest practicable date. Title of each Class Number of shares Outstanding at July 23, 2010. Common Stock, $2.50 par value 268,652,912
10-Q File date 4-29-2010….Indicate the number of shares outstanding of each of the issuer’s classes of common stock, as of the latest practicable date. Title of each Class Number of shares Outstanding at April 23, 2010. Common Stock, $2.50 par value 268,667,924
LOL, You’ve enjoyed many a more positive runs/returns ;o)
Me being the grocery store coupon clipping bottom-fishing knucklehead that I am thoughts of $2.50 might be getting trafficked on any one given intra-day allowing me to pick up a few shares at $2.60? If so question be… “$2.60 just a starter position”? Dang, I’m no expert at picking the bottom and no thoughts and desires of needing to average down more from $2.60… LOL.
Dang, isn’t EK worth at least $2.60/share?

EK..if current support & 52-low (2.78 & 2.75 respectively) gets taken out I’m thinking/wondering if enough pre-set stop-losses just might also be executed taking the PPS even lower, at least intraday candle-tail down to the prior summer of 2009 lows of $2.50? Would that $2.50ish from 2009 then become the next support level?
Does thoughts of opening a limit all-or-none buy order at say $2.60 sound crazy? If EK does trade as low as $2.50ish intraday, closing higher eod, would EK revisit $2.50 and even lower on future days during July prior to August 30th?
EK May 12-13 Gap got filled this morning.
Would a double bottom be $2.75 and/or around the $2.78 support line ya mentioned in prior link-back post?
Cut to the Chase! Bottom-Line…Don’t Hurt Yourself!
Cut to the Chase?? Bottom-Line…Don’t Hurt Yourself!!
Good Post Clay, Thanks!
Sorry, no “death spiral debt-financing” going on here right now! Not at the moment, not in the next few days at least until further disclosure is made!
Cause there Ain’t No Common Shares Available to Convert….O/S to A/S is Maxed.
I'm thinking PV is in fact in a “Death Spiral Debt-Financing Pickle”!
PV’s wondering “what to do, what to do”? How am I going to pay for these last 6-7 Press Releases? I got bills to pay... what to do, what to do?
IMO...the A/S structure will increase from 2 to 5 Billion announced this month before the end of July.

OceanFreight Inc. Announces Reverse Stock Split to Be Effective July 6, 2011
Tuesday , July 05, 2011 08:30ET
ATHENS, GREECE -- (Marketwire) -- 07/05/11 -- OceanFreight Inc. (NASDAQ: OCNF) (the "Company") announced today that its Board of Directors has determined to effect a 1-for-20 reverse stock split of the Company's Class A common stock. The Company's shareholders approved the reverse stock split and granted the Board the authority to determine the exact split ratio and proceed with the reverse stock split at the 2011 annual general meeting of shareholders held on June 15, 2011.
The reverse stock split will take effect, and the Company's common stock will begin trading on a split-adjusted basis on the NASDAQ Global Market, as of the open of trading on July 6, 2011. Beginning on that date, the Company's shares will trade for 20 trading days under the symbol "OCNFD" to indicate that the reverse stock split has occurred. Thereafter, the Company's symbol will revert to its original symbol "OCNF."
When the reverse stock split becomes effective, every 20 shares of the Company's issued and outstanding common stock will be automatically combined into one issued and outstanding share of common stock. This will reduce the number of outstanding shares of the Company's common stock from 118,923,797 to approximately 5,946,182.
No fractional shares will be issued in connection with the reverse split. Shareholders who would otherwise hold a fractional share of the Company's common stock will receive a cash payment in lieu of such fractional share. Shareholders will receive instructions from the Company's exchange agent, American Stock Transfer & Trust Company, LLC, as to how to exchange existing share certificates for new certificates representing the post-reverse split shares.
Additional information about the reverse stock split can be found in the Company's proxy statement furnished to the Securities and Exchange Commission on May 17, 2011, a copy of which is available at www.sec.gov.
J, and to All….Happy 4th of July!
[Suppressed Sound Link]
Do recent Filings suggest a R/S within weeks?
Is OCNF not planning to utilize the historically all so often available NASDAQ’s “second” 180-day “get the darn PPS at or above a $1.00 for a minimum of 10 consecutive days” extension before pulling the R/S trigger?
June 15th vote at the annual meeting passes a 1-3 minimum to 1-20 maximum Reverse-Split….timing wise fully executable prior to the end of the initial 180-day period coming due July 25th. . . http://xml.10kwizard.com/filing_raw.php?repo=tenk&ipage=7673144 . . . (& link back for original NASDAQ non-compliance 180-day notice)
I rather OCNF try to utilize the 2nd NASDAQ 180-day extension before pulling the R/S trigger.
(Mostly just thinking out loud & record keeping)
GLTA!
Strange trading day Friday July 1st.
Relative high volume, compared to recent trade day activity, then hitting a wall shutting off around 12:22 eastern as though there was a halt? No trades whatsoever after lunch?
Then there is trade #25 Buy 5,000/shares at $.0003 immediately followed by trade #26 Sell 5,000/shares at .0002. Strange!
ITC Commission Issues Favorable Ruling in Kodak Patent Case Against Apple and RIM
Thursday , June 30, 2011 19:11ET
ROCHESTER, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Eastman Kodak Company (NYSE:EK) today announced that in response to the company's request, the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) modified key findings of an ITC judge's initial recommendation in Kodak's patent infringement claim against Apple and Research In Motion (RIM). The Commission extended the target date for a final ruling until August 30.
In support of Kodak, the Commission modified the following key findings:
* Kodak appealed the meaning of the patent term "at least three different
colors." The Commission agreed with Kodak that all of Apple and RIM's accused
phones infringe this term.
* Kodak appealed the meaning of the patent terms "motion processor" and "still
processor." The Commission revised the judge's interpretations and instructed
him to make a new recommendation based on the revision.
* Kodak appealed the meaning of the patent term "initiating capture." The
Commission agreed with Kodak that RIM's accused phones and certain Apple
phones infringe this term. With respect to other Apple phones, the Commission
instructed the judge to reconsider his recommendation.
* Kodak appealed the judge's invalidity ruling. The Commission sent the issue
back to the judge for reconsideration in view of the revised meaning of the
patent terms.
* The Commission affirmed other determinations favorable to Kodak, including the
enforceability of the patent, and the existence of domestic industry.
"We are gratified that the Commission has decided to modify in our favor the judge's initial recommendation," said Laura G. Quatela, General Counsel, Chief Intellectual Property Officer and Senior Vice President, Eastman Kodak Company. "As we have said from the start, we remain extremely confident this case will ultimately conclude in Kodak's favor."
The patent at issue relates to a method invented by Kodak for previewing images. This particular patent was validated by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in December 2010. Kodak has licensed its imaging patents, including the one at issue in the case currently before the ITC, to numerous leading technology companies including: LG, MEI/Panasonic, Motorola, Nokia, Olympus, Samsung, Sanyo, Sharp, Sony, and Sony Ericsson.
Kodak initially filed an ITC complaint against Apple and RIM on January 14, 2010, asserting that Apple's iPhones and RIM's camera-enabled Blackberry devices infringe a Kodak patent covering technology related to a method for previewing images. Kodak also has federal court actions pending against RIM and Apple in the Northern District of Texas and in the Western District of New York, where this same issue and additional infringement claims will be adjudicated. Kodak is proceeding with these actions, with the Texas case scheduled to begin on August 1, 2011.
Question about “Alt-Codes” please.
No Hurry, at your Leisure!
Is there an “Alt-Codes” function disclosure within the iHub Edumicational Directory? Disclosing which will work and which will not?
If so, sorry, my bad...I looked but didn’t find it?
I continue to be frustrated in that most “Alt-Codes” do in fact initially display while first typing and continue to display on into “Preview”… encouraging that that the “Alt-Code” displayed is visually confirmed and good to go once one hits “Submit Post”!!
It doesn’t. Once submitted “Submit Post” all the “Alt-Codes” become ? … they all seem to default to a single question mark.
Again, not complaining about iHub… just wondering the status and/or any open disclosures about “Alt-Code” usage somewhere on the "iHub"?
Thanks!
Respects and Best Wishes!

TRID…too early to ? NASDAQ’s 30-days below $1.00?
Looks to me that TRID currently has until July 15th before NASDAQ’s “trading below a dollar for 30 consecutive days” notice can surface…give or take one day due to July 4th?
Looking over the historicals shows they previously went 22-days below a dollar before correcting and now currently today will end up being day 20. Will the powers that be raise her at or above a dollar a second time mid July?
Not that it actually really matters all that much I suppose in that NASDAQ historically issues two 180-day extensions… collectively a freeking year… as long as the other remaining NASDAQ qualifying factors are met.
Just mostly thinking out loud…. Hummmm?

I think everyone knows your not a “Day-Tripper"… :o)
...or an "Intra-Day Tripper"... :o)
LOL, it wasn’t my intent to pry. Mostly an attempt at some humor :o)
Lot of EK activity this morning seeming to indicated mixed thoughts, many a folk with mixed positions both buying and selling in smaller positions, or, perhaps fewer all-or-none order transactions resulting in the smaller qty? Will be interesting to see how she closes this afternoon, both volume and price directions.
J, wishing you and others collecting shares be WINNERS!
(fwiw as far as my taking a position...I’m simply being entertained by it all at this point, no purchase/s made. Thanks for originally bringing EK to my attention, J)

Interesting post #msg-64771844 off iHub EK board.
Suggests final ruling after market closes today, would be nice to see before the extended 3-day weekend, aye?
United Sates of America goes ……“Plastic”!
No more “Paper Checks” in the mail. Fewer US Postal Service Employees required. Fed is going to save money by cutting jobs that would otherwise be spent manually sending out Fed Owed Monies to US Citizens. Credit card companies ...MA... will now do it for Us…we US Citizens.
US Government Loves us US Citizens so therefore they will reduce the amount of money that all of us will have to collectively pay for each and every transactioin for this forth coming monetary delivery service from the US Govt. via a Card company to You...the USA tax paying citizens for monies that you're owed will only have to pay 15% instead of 30% for every transaction. ?
imho "MA" will get the deal and a sweet slice of the US Govt's monies previously spent on man-power, sorry, female-power too, and the US Govt will deliver via MA. Just my guess!! The product needs to be delivered and my guess is that the US Govt will select MA to do so?
(fwiw, some North TX "Municipalities" stopped accepting "Visa" for payment this year.... 2nd Qtr 2011)
Onward Thru The Fog!
Talk about timing, went White/Blue as you posted yesterday [RFMD].
Ooops My Bad! ... PKD…
No earthing wants PKD ….Red, White, & Blue…this Summer!!
:o)
nwmt's an Intra-Day..Short-Term.."Trade stock".
NWMT has to raise new sellable shares either thru increasing the A/S again or doing so via an increase in the O/S....another R/S once again.
Bottom line ...NWMT can’t do both July and August 2011 as is. Somethings has to bust-open...change.
Onward Thru the Fog!
