With so many car companies going electric, it won't matter if WLCDF has anything to do with Tesla. As long as WLCDF can produce high quality Li at market prices then they will be able to sell it. Thankfully for us investors, the Germany experiment will prove it so.
from 8k: "Upon effect of the reverse stock split our issued and outstanding shares will decrease from 1,930,392,180 to 9,651,961 shares of common stock, with a par value of $0.001."
I actually thought we were much higher than that...maybe some people actually did buy a lot of shares recently...hope they know something I don't.
should be just under 10 million shares total...as of today.
oh yeah, and some preferred shares that seem to have some significant meaning.
Alex Walsh: "We should have relevant field data to be able to provide to the markets in Q4."
Could be as early as tomorrow!! Fingers crossed!!
no, I'm sure that is still planned and coming! LOL ;)
OS count is about 2.4 bil by my count...AND CLIMBING by the minute.
looks like a big LEXG share explosion today before the split...how many can we see issued before then end of the day..50, 100, 200 million? more?
My opinion is that it needed to drop to pre-merger market cap ~50-75 million dollars. Because we know it will be a while for a NV plant to get up and running. Also, unfortunately, Hecatone came out at the worst time possible. I think the bleeding will stop soon. Good news will flow out of Lithium Americas and we'll be riding the up slope again soon. Also, WL did not agree to the interesting Tesla deal that forces Pure/Bacanora to deliver Li under market price. Those two companies did not get the boom in stock price one might have expected (I own Pure stock) and it is because of the strange deal that was agreed to. Bright future here IMO.
I see it on the FIRNA website for tomorrow. Question is: will they dilute right away? repeat what happened just a few months ago? imagine that, WOW.
It is articles like this one that make the SonCav machine such a valuable and important invention...IF it is proven to do what they say it can!! Here's hoping...

...I see Xylem is mentioned btw.
yes, but about the Lithium Americas plant:
"The plant is expected to be producing 2,500 tons per annum by year-end 2016, and ramping up to 20,000 tons by year-end 2017."
so...current price of lithium carbonate is 5-6k per metric ton. do the math of what we are looking at starting late next year $$$

Personally, I'm very bullish at the current share price for WLCDF.
there is a shareholder class action lawsuit being filled against El Pollo Loco this week claiming that execs mislead the investors. Do you think this kind of action is applicable in the case of LEXG shareholders?
http://www.marketwatch.com/story/el-pollo-loco-holdings-inc-shareholder-alert-shareholder-class-action-filed-against-el-pollo-loco-holdings-inc----loco-2015-09-21
at this rate we'll be at 10 billion in no time.
Ouch. I think people should know that this company cannot generate income right now. I would caution against buying. I will hold my shares because, well, I'm a bag holder. But, things could turn around...it just probably won't be until 2016. My opinion.
absolutely! amazing video
I'm not saying its a scam. To me, the SonCav technology is incredible based on what details we know of it. But, LEXG has really got itself into a pickle. I'm curious to see it play out. My shares are all but forgotten in my portfolio, lol, especially if they keep printing shares into 2+ bil territory.
I don't think anyone is buying the big chunks, really. They are issued at .0003 and sold at .0004 piece by piece for the cash-in. That demand at .0004 will go away, maybe already has...and next month's dump will be at .0002.
Unless we get some positive news. Unfortunately this company cannot generate income at this point in time. Someone correct me if I'm misguided.
looks like 2.0B by the end of today, what a shame.
What is your best guess of current OS count? 1.8 bil?
Pure Energy Minerals announces supply deal with Tesla:

hey-oooooooo
nice video, very cool :)
Now Mercedes wants in:
"Mercedes engineering boss Dr Thomas Weber said the new car would have a range of “between 400 and 500km [248 and 310 miles]” thanks to lithium batteries with double the energy density of current components."

I don't agree with this. The folks at Tesla are certainly smarter than me and if they think Bacanora is worthy of any kind of contract then that says to me that they are legit. My hunch is that WLCDF had to get the merger going in order to win any contracts in the near term because the NV facility won't be ready soon enough. Both are in great shape. IMO.
Semantics. I understand where WLCDF is right now. Bacanora isn't printing invoices either right now. Both have valuable assets that will turn into big business. That's my take, time will tell...
I couldn't agree more. There are many potential customers for WLCDF.
Yes, good time to buy IMO. The merger makes real Li production possible in the short term. WLCDF will be a major player.
Looking forward to an update on SonCav testing soon!
Hoping to get some more details soon on the 2 year timeline for the newly acquired assets in SA. I think it will be a very aggressive push to get Li pumping out of there in the very near future. It's a good time to up my position, which I'll be doing tomorrow. The merger makes me more bullish on WLCDF because I think the large consumers of Li will be looking to make deals soon before Tesla eats up everything. And...who knows, maybe Tesla is in talks with WLCDF. Time will tell.
Hello all...looking good here. Especially since Musk said today that there will be more than one supplier of Li to Tesla. Hello Nevada??
could be, one thing is for sure...the CEO isn't talking to us at the moment.
oh yeah, and shares are being issued.
Buyers this morning
This is interesting, thanks for posting.
Just a misprint in an article. There's two different companies:
http://www.rareearthmineralsplc.com/
http://usrareearths.com/
you must be shorting WLCDF, otherwise you couldn't not know about Rare Earth and WLCDF. But in any case, I know nothing, just what I read. And my opinions are just that.
one more thing...the supplier agreement that Tesla signed involves Rare Earth Minerals...which happens to have a huge stake in WLCDF...so that might prove to be an interesting fact.
Oddly enough, I think this is a good sign for WLCDF and other juniors. The fact that Tesla is willing to enter an agreement with a company that is still speculative means that there is some advantage to doing so. Meaning that the big 3 does not have the power that some thought. And hopefully WLCDF holds some similar advantage for the next 'Tesla' that seeks a Li supplier.
Mexico does not have the red tape that the US has, so I think that the Bacanora site can get up and running faster than one in Nevada could. Perhaps, WLCDF was in talks with Tesla for a while, 'in the running' so to speak...and when it became apparent they weren't going to get the deal due to timeline concerns, they found a risk mitigation (for future business) in the form of a merger with a company without the 'red tape' in south america. Possibly a reaction to not winning the Tesla deal. Just a thought...
no one would sell 80 mil shares right now @.0003.
more dilution.
...unfortunately
interesting link and photo, wish i could be there..
