https://www.mikrossystems.com/mikros-executive-spread-the-word/

More information on the FST meeting is available here.
Also on Tuesday, Mikros COO Chuck Bristow and CTO Henry Silcock will attend the MicroCap Conference in New York to present the Company to a large audience of potential investors. PAYDAY!! DRIPn
Topdog,
if you are there, please try and see if you can get some colour on future additional contracts from the navy/air/force/army and hopefully if there is a possible sizeable commercial contract in the future or multiple contracts.
also, find out why they are not buying shares on the open market, do they view the shares as too expensive with regards to future growth? etc.
thanks.
I hope they are more engaging and inspiring to those folks than they are with us. there is not one institution invested in the company. even if we get a small microcap hedge fund to take a position, that would move the needle.
around 5M last year, down from 2015 as expected. 2017 is looking better. thy expect more contract awards in 2017, but expect delays as usual in the awarding of these contracts. nothing special on commercial business apart from getting repeat orders, not sure from who or how much.
IF and when a proper commercial contract is announced then i will load up. i have no problem buying up.

I think its a small contract and i doubt they will release the name.
I will take it. I hope that the confidence the Navy shows in Mikros will spill over to commercial customers. Hope there will be some discussions on this in the 10K.
With you on that. i think the drop is probably from a computer algorithm that sees the word offering and probably hits the sell, which is fine by me as i would like to buy my DRIP sub 14.00
My prediction,
we probably won't hear anything else until Q4 and end of year financials. by that time, the price will be back down to $0.25 or around there as weak hands will sell and quick traders take profits. there seems to be motivated sellers at these prices who are taking advantage of the large volumes to shed shares.
Take note, this is the 2nd IDIQ contract in 6 months. total IDIQ is now $86M over 5 years, which could lead to an annualized $16M/year in revenues. also, the company is now using their manufacturing facilities to develop these instruments, ie. better margin.
all for a $8M company, LOL. this also excludes potential commercial contracts.

Lets see how Q4 turns out.
Velcro,
was that you who cleaned up all the asks at 0.25? ask has moved higher now, someone scooped up all the 0.25 asking price.
Should, but they seem to be late in doing that. i got the Navy symposium first in my email before seeing it on the website. maybe it will be on it by next week.

Welcome to the Inaugural Issue Newsletter!
We have introduced this quarterly newsletter to help keep you informed about what's happening at Mikros Systems. In it you will find information about new contracts awarded, profiles of our team, product overviews, customer highlights and other exciting events and milestones.
2016 has been a year of transition for Mikros as we invest in our strategy to
EXTEND our business with our current U.S. Department of Defense customers;
EXPAND our solutions to other U.S. federal customers; and
DIVERSIFY our applications into new commercial and industrial markets.
We are making good progress on this strategy. In 2016 we were awarded over $50M in potential orders, including $48M from the U.S. Navy, the largest in our company history. Our backlog currently stands at an all-time high and positions us for solid top-line growth in 2017.
We are breaking new ground in our work with Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) for combat systems on the U.S. Navy's Littoral Combat Ship, and we are investing to extend its applicability to other federal customers and to transition this technology into new commercial and industrial markets. To that end, we continue to engage with potential commercial customers regarding the benefits of our remote monitoring and prognostics solutions.
Our third quarter results, reported earlier, were in line with our expectations for a stronger second half in 2016. We saw revenue increase 20% over the second quarter of 2016 and income from operations increased over 150%. We also plan to maintain our investments in growing and diversifying our customer base. This year we are adding technical staff to support our current contracts and technology transition to commercial markets. We are adding sales staff to support our move into adjacent federal and commercial markets.
We recently participated in our first investor conference, The MicroCap Conference, in Philadelphia. At our new website you may also notice that we have refreshed our marketing materials and website to better reflect our innovative approaches to solving our customers' maintenance challenges.
Regards,
Tom Meaney

Mikros Exhibits at Surface Navy Association in January
The Mikros Systems team exhibited at the Surface Navy Association’s (SNA) 29th National Symposium at the Hyatt Regency in Crystal City, VA, 10-12 January 2017. The theme this year was “Distributed Lethality: Enabling Sea Control.”
Our latest products were showcased including the newest version of the ADEPT® system. Many demonstrations were given and well received. Mikros also featured the ADEPT Distance Support Sensor Suite (ADSSS) Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) system used on the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS). Other live demos featured the Target Interface Module (TIM) smart sensor, and our newest software products Prognostics Framework and Diagnostics Profiler.
SNA is the leading trade show and technical conference for U.S. Naval surface forces, including both the Aegis and Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) communities, both key Mikros programs. Attendees included Naval officers, enlisted and civilian personnel, and industry representatives from both prime contractors and small businesses like Mikros.
The Mikros exhibit was well attended and we had many useful exchanges with both current and potential new customers.
Shown above is Mikros trainer “Van” Van der Henst demonstrating ADEPT to several foreign Naval officers.

Mikros Team Attends Government Contract
Management Symposium
Mikros Contracts Manager Holly Straub (right) and Contracts Administrator Laura Geib attended the Government Contract Management Symposium (GCMS) at the Marriott Wardman in Washington DC on Dec 12-13, 2016. The symposium was sponsored by the National Contract Management Association (NCMA), of which both are members.
With the theme “Refresh Knowledge, Renew Commitment, and Refund Efforts,” the annual GCMS did all that and more. Two full days of informative keynotes and panels, educational breakout sessions and networking opportunities with both government and industry professionals, provided a setting to help stay informed, motivated and prepared for significant changes under the new administration. A favorite keynote address of the Mikros team was LTG Todd Semonite, Commanding General of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. His keynote engaged and excited the audience, giving us a different perspective on the importance of all aspects of government contracting.
More information from the symposium, including presentations and recordings of keynote presentations are available at the website: http://www.ncmahq.org/gcms16
The Mikros Contracts team is also planning to attend the NCMA World Congress in Chicago, IL, in July this year. Known to be the largest education event for contract management, procurement and acquisition professionals, it will be a great opportunity to network among 2,000+ fellow collegues.
More information on the World Congress can be found at the following website: http://www.ncmahq.org/wc17

got 94 additional shares. sweet.
Payday today
when is this supposed to happen?
Not i.
Didn't go to Navy conference. i hope they had meaningful meetings though. i have doubts we will be hearing any news before end of Q4 and YE.
wow, why cant i be that lucky. i struggled to get a mere 10000 shares at even .01 below the ask, and this fella happily gets 30+K shares at the Bid, LOL.
well, yesterday, the person who wanted 10000 shares had to buy at the ask. same thing happened to me when i needed 10000 shares. when MKRS traded at .21 last was because of a mere 300 shares. lol. i wouldn't be surprised to see it drop to .22 on 300 shares today.
What was the website where one could check to see if MKRS won or got additional contract from the DoD? and has anyone checked recently?
Just came in my email.
Hello and happy new year!
Mikros Systems will be exhibiting at the Surface Navy Association’s (SNA) 29th National Symposium at the Hyatt Regency in Crystal City, VA, 10-12 January 2017. The theme this year will be “Distributed Lethality: Enabling Sea Control”.
As we have done in the past, Mikros will be showcasing our latest products at the symposium. First, our newest version of the ADEPT® system will be on display and available for demonstrations, as always. Mikros will also re-introduce the ADEPT Distance Support Sensor Suite (ADSSS) Conditioned Based Maintenance (CBM) system for the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Class, with demos available on our Target Interface Module (TIM). Thirdly, our newest products: Prognostics Framework and Diagnostics Profiler. These two software products complete our scalable CBM solutions, providing powerful analysis of leading indicator and maintenance data to identify impending failures, predict the remaining useful life of key components, and diagnose current system conditions.

“Assuring System Readiness”
Nibbled on some more MKRS today.
Would love to hear a buyout.
$LADR was then downgraded today by BAML
Its unfortunate we dont know how big this commercial contract is, how long it will take to be completed, etc. i can understand the privacy, but it would be good to know the value of it and over what time period this is. will it lead to more contracts from this commercial customer?
$LADR
- financing non-dilutive
- seller is a 2006 PE fund in almost 10 yrs
- largest holder hasn't sold 1 share
- recently raised dividend
Gonna be an uncomfortable day tomorrow. However, i dont think there is any dilution for shareholders, just a large Private equity holder from 2006 looking to cash in. maybe the find is closing and liquidating the investments. TowerBrook Investors II

From the last $LADR CC
Jessica Levi-Ribner
One big one from me, just looking back at your core earnings for the last few quarters -- and you mentioned it during the call -- you're easily out-earning your dividend. How do we think about that going forward, especially considering the opportunities that you're facing which seems to be pretty robust, in a market that's gotten, like you just said Brian, a lot easier?
Brian Harris
Well, clearly we're out-earning it at this point and that's by design, if you remember the way that we set up the Company and how we handle our dividend policy. Obviously with a quarter like this, if you multiplied it by four with $110-million payout, there's obviously a lot of room between the payout versus what we could pay out. So we're revisiting our dividend policy, as we always do around the fourth quarter. So yes, we're looking at it and we'll be making some determinations, I think, as we go into the fourth quarter as to how we're going to handle it. But we clearly have some room.
Please keep falling.
i think a special Dividend of $0.24 will be announced for Q4.
As happy as i am with this run. $LADR is majorly overbought. needs to rest.
