Having a snow day where I'm at so I decided to try and size up the market to see where Kaya fits in. Looking on the Oregon Gov't site there are 334 total dispensaries with 284 selling recreational. Not all dispensaries are obligated to be on here but I suspect most are.
289 dispensaries are independently owned (only 1 dispensary) with 19 companies having 2 locations or more, Kaya included. Of these 19 companies one has 4 dispensaries, three have 3 dispensaries and fifteen have 2 dispensaries, Kaya Shack included in this group.
So in the Oregon dispensary market Kaya seems to be doing above average with 2 dispensaries open but not as good as some other companies that already have 3 or 4 open. A number of the 2 dispensary companies seem to have aspirations for opening more according to their websites but have not yet opened further locations. My guess is because of the whole gov't not processing applications till further along in the year but who knows. Kaya Shack was looking at opening a 3rd location but nothing seems to have materialized so who knows. . . . .no updates on that has only led us to speculate.
I don't think so but my impression is that ex fraudster felon Dave 'dirtbag' Jones and CEO Craig 'conman' Frank are probably more interested in swindling investors than selling marijuana as a product.
With the news of this dirt bag consultant lurking in the background I wouldn't be surprised if this keeps sinking . . .
IF these guys ever get the phantom 3rd store going they should include drive through access

With this whole scumbag Jones scandal casting a pretty big shadow over this ticker I'm
sitting on some shares but def not adding anymore. With an ex felon like Jones in the background who knows how this will actually do going forward.
To me it sounds like a piece of information that the CEO would have likeed to have kept swept under the rug. While it seems it wasn't mandatory information to have included on Jone's personal information it makes you wonder what this sleeze bag's real intentions are and what alternative motives surround this guy. . .
Nah, this turd keeps slipping downward back to .09
Nice DD rookie! Getting the dirt on this David Jones scumbag. Yea shady consulting is definitely not a good way to build investor confidence. . .
Hopefully there's a legit reason for this guy being with the company. I think the CEO needs to address this and clarify these 'consultant' fees going forward.
Anybody have an updated share count after that dispensary transaction??

reading this is like mumbo jumbo to me.
A whole new set of bag holders joined the club this week. Hopefully some of us long termers got out. Enjoy the slide back down
Huh, this makes things a bit shadier eh
from the 10-q:
3 Months Ended September 30, 2015
Cannabis products:
total rev: $ 420,973
Cost of Goods Sold:$ 290,256
profit: $130,717 (approx 31%)
administrative expenses: $ 164,970
Overall loss of: $ 34,253
they need to cut down on either cost of goods or admin expenses or both to make this work
I'm reading through their 10-q and other documents and I'm having trouble finding out WHERE they are getting the cannabis supplied from to make their IVXX products. They don't seem to be growing it themselves at this time. Anybody know?
I found the following but wasn't clear as to whether they're growing their own or purchasing it from a source then processing it at this CO2 lab:
''Cannabis Products – IVXX's cannabis products are currently produced in our supercritical Co2 lab in California and are sold in select dispensaries throughout California. We plan to operate medical marijuana cultivation, production, and dispensary facilities in Nevada through our subsidiaries, MediFarm, MediFarm I, and MediFarm II. We were granted eight provisional permits in Nevada and have received approval from the local authorities with respect to eight of the eight permits.''
What's the new float at, 120 mil ?
Maybe they hold for a more favourable price, who knows. Any word on that 3rd store ?
This thing is a dead horse till the new year. . . .sell now buy back in Feb
TRTC mentioned in this article:

Another mention in this article about KAYS:

Hopefully there's some info in there about the progress on the 3rd license/store. . . .anyone checked out the Salem store? If I lived on the west coast I'd definitely be getting there to pick up some bud
Yea, this whole year anything below .08 can be flipped at the dime or .11 level. I'm flipping some but holding long.
Any word on the filing of this here?

INSIDERS SELLING ON UPTICK
Here's another transaction, Ken VandeVrede dipping into the piggy bank 22 OCT. Selling on the uptick whatever he can!

Exactly, 'D' is for disposed shares bud. Those shares were sold on the open market at the price quoted beside the amount. TRTC gets a big D for fraudulent selling and insider shenanigans
INSIDER"S DUMPING SHARES
As predicted earlier this month it wasn't long till DP's gang was back at it again dumping shares and taking money straight out of investor's pockets.
https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1451512/000147793215006575/xslF345X03/form4.xml
This time it's Ken Vrede dumping shares the 19th and 20th of Oct. to pay for his new porsche purchased off the $$$ of investor's buying in.
Don't forget to mention how NONE of the profits are going to investors till 2018. . . . .everything that IVXX brings in is going towards DP and Amy's spending fund.
Who owns the rest?
Right now the MJ sector is at an all time low, it may even have bottomed after the ridiculous spring in 2014 however the feel I get is that hype and bogus pr's aren't enough to move stock prices in the MJ sector like in 2014. I think people will need to see real numbers before deciding on this and any other stock to any great amount. . . . just my 2 cents but hey, 2016 might be a turn around year for the MJ sector with the coverage elections will give it. If revs here can climb next year that's when we'll see this move.
Till then I'm sure this will hover around a dime.
The opening of this 2nd store def legitimizes them as an up and comer in the industry. Awesome to see them expanding. Added some today.
If revenue from colorado is any indication the debt they've accumulated getting the foundation in place won't matter in a year or two with the product volume they'll be moving.
