With the Korean Ebola patient arriving in Berlin today, maybe the Fresenius relationship will quickly be monetized as this is a "Fresenius" served hospital and elevated Cytokines is hallmark in Ebola induced organ failure.........maybe they will use AEMD HEMOPURIFIER and CTSO Cytosorbent cartridges and the patient goes home alive!!!!!!!

12 Sierra Leonean Doctors have contracted Ebola during this outbreak and 10 have died.....only one has lived.....Dr. Mawanda who was treated in Frankfurt where he deteriorated through several experimental Rx treatments and convalescent blood transfusion and was finally treated with Aethlon Medical's Hemopurifier device after slipping into a coma and living on a ventilator!
So how do "they" plan to treat this the twelfth Sierra Leonean Doctor to contract Ebola------I think I would request Frankfurt, ZMAPP and Hemopurifier ASAP to have my best chances at injury free recovery!!!!!!!!

Ebola cases require rare dual air ambulance rescues
Patients undergoing treatment at Maryland and Georgia hospitals
.

By Jason Sickles, Yahoo 21 hours ago Yahoo News
There has been an apparent first in the fight against Ebola this week.
According to flight records, the private jet company contracted by the State Department to transport Ebola patients flew two air ambulances to West Africa on the same day.
Until Wednesday, Phoenix Air had flown only one Ebola-fighting mission at a time. A second Gulfstream jet featuring the ability to treat infectious patients in flight had been held back in case of an emergency with the first aircraft. But last month, the Georgia-based operation finished customizing a third jet to handle the specialized medical equipment.
The increased rescue capacity comes just in time. On Thursday, the Red Cross warned of a possible rise in the rate of Ebola infections in West Africa as people travel across the region during the holidays.
One of this week’s flights brought an American nurse to the Washington area. On Thursday, the National Institutes of Health announced that an unidentified relief worker who was exposed to the Ebola virus while volunteering in Sierra Leone was being admitted.
So far, no information is known about the mission of this week’s second Ebola flight. Messages left for Phoenix Air were not immediately returned on Thursday. A State Department spokeswoman said she could not immediately answer questions from Yahoo News.
“We won’t have anything for you on this today and may not have something until early next week,” the spokeswoman said via email.

There appears to be no public flight plan mapping either jet’s departure from Léopold Sédar Senghor International Airport in Dakar, Senegal. Yahoo News asked a Phoenix Air official last month about a noticeable increase in keeping flight information off of databases searchable by the public.
“The only thing I can say is that it's for operational security,” said Dent Thompson, the company’s vice president of operations. “There are a whole lot of things going on in the background, and whatever we do, it is in cooperation with the government and us.”
Of the flight plans that are public, records show Phoenix Air has made at least five trips to West Africa this month.
One of those was Dec. 4, to bring an American health care worker who may have been exposed to the Ebola virus to Atlanta’s Emory University Hospital.
On Thursday, an Emory spokesperson declined to say if the patient had tested positive for the deadly disease, but did confirm that the woman is still being treated in the hospital’s serious communicable diseases unit.
An expedited multimillion dollar agreement with the State Department in August put Phoenix Air on retainer through mid-January to transport Ebola-stricken patients at U.S. request. Both parties told Yahoo News last month that an extension was in the works. It’s unknown if a new deal has been reached. The State Department spokeswoman said she could not provide details on Phoenix Air’s expiring contract.
At least six Phoenix Air Ebola evacuees from West Africa have not been brought to the United States. Because of the specialized equipment and complicated missions, the State Department has allowed foreign governments and aid organizations to piggyback on its deal with Phoenix Air if they agree to cover the costs.

The truth will be revealed and will set us free.......my most sincere hope is that occurs so sudden and so rapid during a quiet moment and these trash spewing, lying, conniving manipulative bashtards can't get back in below their previous exit points!!! Meanwhile the bashtards will have their day, but only for a limited period of time.
But even sadder yet that they didn't use the HP as this quite possibly, if not probably, would have reduced the number of days in such distress drastically and would have improved his chance of damage free recovery immeasurably.....almost as sad as was the case for Dr. Salia in Nebraska with almost the same treatment w/o the HP, which ended even worse. HP needs to be used early and with any other available treatments such as convalescent plasma and ZMAPP.........give these people the best chance possible.......at least the doctors and healthcare workers if not all who acquire this nasty pernicious disease!

UPDATE TO EMAIL WITH EUROPAN DR
Munzert, Eberhard <Eberhard.Munzert@bfarm.de>;
Dr. Munzert,
Thank you for your reply. I have forwarded this to the company for their consideration. I would like to point out that Dr. Geiger of the Frankfurt Hospital did present the clinical case in Philadelphia --- The Aethlon Hemopurifier® was used in the successful treatment of a critically-ill Ebola-infected patient in Frankfurt, Germany, according to data presented today at the American Society of Nephrology (ASN) Annual Meeting by Helmut Geiger, M.D., Chief of Nephrology at Goethe University, Frankfurt University Hospital. Geiger reported that 242 million Ebola viruses were captured within the Aethlon Hemopurifier® during treatment, a number verified by a post-treatment elution protocol. The patient is no longer infected with Ebola virus and is expected to make a full recovery.
Also, Dr. Geiger himself requested the device which led to the company obtaining German permission to utilize the HP device. So, the process seems to be able to be initiated by the company or by any medical entity/Doctor requesting authorization with the latter seeming to be the true driving factor.
Therefore, it would seem prudent for you and all European Ebola treating facilities to pre-emptively request these devices if for no other reason than to be used as a last resort and hopefully the results experienced by Dr. Salia in the Nebraska, USA Hospital can be avoided.
Kind Regards,
Charles Cook
I sent emails to various EU entities highlighting all the positives and known facts regarding the HP and imploring them to be prepared to use the HP device if not as a first line defense then at least as a last resort as was done in Frankfurt's Goethe Hospital. HERE IS A REPLY I JUST RCEIVED-----Please forward to James and team at Aethlon asap.

Dear Mr. Cook,
as to our knowledge, the Aethlon device is still not CE marked. Thus, any medical application in Germany depends on a special approval according to German legal provisions, as it was also the case from Frankfurt.
An application on a special approval can be submitted by the manufacturer. So far, we are not aware on any such additional submission.
Additionally, we like to point out that we have no detailed clinical information from Frankfurt; thus, we can neither confirm nor deny whether the Aethlon device played a contributory role in the patient’s recovery.
Yours sincerely

Boston's MGH has patient under investigation for possible Ebola
OK----surely someone on here knows someone at Boston MGH that can be influential enough to get JJ and his team there with the HP device at the ready to save this life.....
Massachusetts General Hospital said it has admitted a patient under investigation for possible Ebola.

Massachusetts General Hospital said it has admitted a patient under investigation for possible Ebola.
By Felice J. Freyer and Travis AndersenGlobe Staff December 03, 2014
A patient was admitted Tuesday to Massachusetts General Hospital to be tested for Ebola, but the illness has not been confirmed, officials said.
Dr. Paul Biddinger, the hospital’s medical director of emergency preparedness, said in an interview the person was in stable condition.
?
The patient was under investigation for Ebola because of a history of travel to an area where Ebola is present, the possibility of exposure to the deadly virus, and symptoms similar to those seen with Ebola. But Biddinger emphasized that the symptoms of Ebola are similar to many other diseases, “many of which are more likely than Ebola.”
During a late-night press briefing outside the hospital, Biddinger said initial test results for the patient could become available overnight. Other tests will take longer to yield results, he said.
This is the first time that Mass. General has admitted a patient under investigation for Ebola. But representatives from state and city public health agencies said there had been suspected cases at other hospitals, and Ebola was quickly ruled out.
As a precaution, the Mass. General staff treating the patient donned the maximum full-body personal protective equipment -- the “moon suits” -- and the patient was placed in an isolation room set aside for this purpose in the emergency department, Biddinger said.
“The challenge is that in order to figure out what might be the most likely diagnosis for patient, you have to have an interaction with them,” Biddinger said. “When Ebola is a possibility, we start with the highest level of personal protection.
“These are protocols we’ve been practicing since July,” he added, noting that on Monday, federal officials had reviewed the adequacy of the hospital’s protocols. “We know for sure that no one is at risk around Mass. General. Our patients, our staff, our visitors are completely safe.”
During the press conference, Biddinger sought to provide assurance that the patient presents no risk.
“We feel extremely confident that all of our patients, all of our staff, all of our visitors are perfectly safe,” the physician said.
Hospital and public health officials declined to release any information about the patient, who had been undergoing routine monitoring by the Boston Public Health Commission when the decision was made to hospitalize.
The Boston health agency said in a statement that it does not, as a matter of policy, comment on suspected cases. “For months, BPHC has conducted extensive trainings, public awareness campaigns, and coordination with our partners at the state level and surrounding municipalities,” the commission’s statement said. “We have full confidence in our departments and health care organizations that we can keep Boston residents and visitors safe and healthy.”
The Massachusetts Department of Public Health also put out a statement: “There are no confirmed cases of Ebola in Massachusetts. Over the past several months, DPH has worked with area hospitals on investigations of Ebola, and they have all been quickly ruled out. DPH will only be reporting confirmed cases.”
WTF.....of course not, it means the price will be going to $1+ as FDA TRIAL for Hep C is started and previous Hep C trial in India is updated......both to be announced any day now......thus giving the $3.3 M investor a sweet deal!!!!!!! The rest of us too!!!

Re: Dr Mawanda's "miraclous recovery" interview
Well, isn't it very interesting that Dr. Salia, who arrived at the Nebraska Hospital in critical condition as did Dr. Mawanda at Frankfurt, received more or less the exact same kinds of care, treatment drugs etc, etc, with ONLY ONE DIFFERENCE.........that of course being the 6.5 hour treatment with the Hemopurifier, which some are now suggesting was superfluous.
Couldn't possibly be the HP actually made the difference, could it?
Then after the data was shared with the FDA, which notoriously moves with the speed of rigor mortis, abruptly and SWIFTLY approved the AEMD HP for emergency use.....also very, very interesting at least.
Maybe the FDA approved because they believed the efficacy had been demonstrated..... Maybe they approved to avoid lawsuits, as I recommened to Mrs. Salia, for failure to use even though the Nebraska Hospital stated they had tried all available resources.....or some combination of both? Time will tell, obviously more data is needed and now the wheels are in motion to facilitate this at least in Nebraska and hopefully soon at other Hospitals throughout Europe and Africa.
Additionally, the much anticipated confirmatory data from the updated HCV trials will be additive and accretive as will the announcement of the initiation of the FDA approved HCV trial in USA to begin anytime now!

Baby khan.......pardon me, but I am pretty sure that $.30 is still far, far more than any capital raises conducted by CTSO.......and I am a fairly large shareholder of both, so I can say this!
AEMD plus CTSO?
Is it possible that an HP and a Cytosorb filter in series would make the absolute perfect treatment for Ebola and possibly other viral pathogens? How good would that be!!!
Where is news of 2 soldiers returning that have tested positive for Ebola?

Additionally, during this run-up we will find later that AEMD raised significant funds while issuing fewer and fewer shares....this is the nature of developing Bio-Tech companies, the money has to come from somewhere until partners can be obtained or commercial success or both.
Follow-up to treatment status of Dr. Baez in Geneva:
Remember Dr. Salia who died in Nebraska Hospital after they "used every available treatment to save him"......"He was given the experimental Ebola drug ZMapp on Saturday and received a plasma transfusion from an Ebola survivor - a treatment that is believed to provide antibodies to fight the virus." Unfortunately at the time the HP wasn't pre-approved for Emergency use only for Compassionate use and apparently none of the Nebraska Doctors asked for this if they even knew of the device.

Cuban doctor with Ebola in stable yet worrying condition
Published November 22, 2014/
EFE
The health of Cuban doctor Felix Baez Sarria, who was flown to Switzerland last Thursday from Sierra Leone where he contracted the Ebola virus, is stable though a cause for concern, the Cantonal Hospital of Geneva said Saturday.
"Today his state of health remains stable, but is worrying. The patient is in a special room in a section isolated from the rest of the hospital," the medical center said in a communique.
The wife of Dr. Baez Sarria, a specialist in internal medicine and a member of the brigade of Cuban doctors who traveled to Sierra Leone to fight the Ebola virus, said in a statement to the official daily Juventud Rebelde that on Friday her husband called her twice from Geneva.
She said they have been in constant contact since he was infected with the virus and that he is confident, "positive" and "very well looked after."
"Don't worry, I feel fine. This will all turn out well," were Baez's words to his wife, Vania Ferrer, the newspaper said.
"Felix is deliberate, calm, and a very good father, son, husband and doctor. He is very human," Ferrer said, adding that in their conversations she felt he was "in very good spirits and very positive, since they are sure this will all turn out well."
Juventud Rebelde noted Saturday that at Baez's home in Havana there is "a family of doctors," since his wife is also a physician and one of his children is studying medicine.
The daily revealed that Vania Ferrer also volunteered to treat Ebola in West Africa as part of the Cuban brigade, which up to now has been made of men only.
Dr. Baez Sarria, 43, has been treated since Friday at the Cantonal Hospital of Geneva, chiefly with Zmapp, an experimental biopharmaceutical drug that has had encouraging results in cases of other foreign patients infected with the virus in Africa.
Not yet determined are the exact circumstances under which he contracted the virus in Sierra Leone, where he was a member of the first brigade - of 165 health professionals - sent from Cuba in early October to West Africa to fight the Ebola epidemic.
Another two brigades were sent several weeks later with a total of 83 medical personnel to Liberia and Guinea. EFE
