I know what animal studies I'd like to see.
Last month it was RS PROXY DAY COMING! Run for the hills!
Now the drum beat is, There's no fantasy line-up of supposed "big pharma" or ANYONE else beating a door to PPHM.
I share with you all your thoughts in this post. Well, not the "total loss" acceptance part!
Easy to dismiss such clear evidence such as constant iHub popularity with a few words like that, but much harder to substantiate with equal evidence why it doesn't matter.
Nice purple! Actually WHY would there be so many reads for a .34 stock? Can't be shorts, all they read are charts. Again Something is coming in the way of buyout/partnership, IMO.
- There are 615 Biotech boards listed on iHub.
- Of those, 394 are still active in 2016. PPHM was by far the most posted biotech stock with 277,000, - that’s over a quarter of a million.
- Next most active biotech stock board is Nano Viricides with 125,000 posts. Nano market cap is 87 million, average volume 62,700 and current share price is 1.50.
- After Nano, the highest number of posts for a biotech falls off a cliff. I mean, third is around 12,000 or so and that's a great rarity.
- PPHM trades at 35 cents. And yet it has and still does attracted over a quarter of a million posts since inception. As noted before, PPHM is often the number one daily stock board and that's ALL stocks, not just biotechs.
My continuing question is why teeny PPHM is a magnet for posts when it is declared over and over a dead company, with a dead product with a shady BOD and no interest in its shareholders?
Today nearly 16,000 reads! With 111 posts, that's a lot of reads for a non-OTC stock! And one doomed by some to failure and obscurity.
I never said OTC leads to profit. That's words in my mouth. What I did say is that PPHM is posted to a lot, for a very long time, for just for a .35 stock. That's all.
#9 most read stock board, 35th most posted - ALL, all other stocks mentioned in top 50 are OTC except PPHM and one other. Again, day after day this happens. On what has been termed a dead-in-the-water stock month after month. So keep on post'in no matter who you are!
Yea, nothing to see her folks, move right along.
10-13 years to develop a drug. Bavi has been developing that long and the PPHM board continues to be VERY widely read/posted. Why is that? SO why post consistently on a "SP that has done nothing but go down?" You would think just the opposite.
EB, great posts! Wonderful to have you on this board.
Speaking of boards, a cursory look at the top 50 iHub boards for number of posts, indicates PPHM is consistently listed, week after week after week. For months, in fact! And these other 50 top boards are 99% OTC! What does that say about our 30-something PPHM! Someone is awfully interested in what happens here, no matter what the tenor of the posts.
Keep plugging away EB.
Okay. Your call. But within the extension time I think, IMO, I think that Peregrine will PR to lift sp above a buck. Matter of opinion but to me it's money in the bank.
Bring it on 4Our. How refreshing that would be - a clear, irrefutable PR concerning exosome blood test partner. Exciting October/November coming, well before the much-publicized-RS monster rears its nonexistent head.
On the contrary, I believe that there are a substantial number of those 100+ posts that are written by those who have no interest in seeing bavituximab to market. IMO.
Wow! Another 100 posts today for a 30-something stock. Amazing! This is a dead giveaway of the importance of Peregrine and bavi.
"You are falling into the same trap as many others, googling stuff and thinking you understand the science."
It's so comforting to know that you DO understand the science, probably w/o googling a thing!
Bfiest, wonderful summary of where you think we are. From cp and james, I think you're right on target. Waiting on the biomarker date makes sense - make a better deal. Thanks!
A very intelligent reply RCJ. Takes all those "data mining" posts to the woodshed. Thanks.
Mozer, Boulder was the place (see below Jake's intriguing entry:
azn has been selling off non core assets like mad over the last six months and recently acquired a manufacturing plant in boulder...
zn's directive is to limit acquisitions that are accretive... one can make a pretty good case for an avid story with bavi..
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=125814547
So AZN bought in Calif. Near Tustin? Anyway, all pure IMO.
Didn't AZN buy a large facility in Nevada. Nevada? Didn't Jake hypothesized it would be a nice fit for Avid. Purely IMO!!
Relax IFU. Before April you'll be happy with those 70K shares.
What!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good to see you post again PGG! Don't despair. The great numbers for Avid should have the sp over a buck. All fair and balanced posters agree on that. Well, the sp has been held artificially at .30-40 level for many, many months. Why? Accumulation. Partner/buyout coming PGG so you'll be fine. IMO of course, but the price being held down is too, too obvious.
This is wonderful CJ! All commentary in one place. Thanks very much. Of course only true shareholders will read them objectively, but you already knew that.
Bavi "good enough" for partnership before April, IMO.
Thanks JJ. Nice to have clear, honest appraisal of ASM.
We hear what we want to hear. All of us. Confident, frustrated, confused, whatever. The truth will out before April.
Post was directed at JamesGMS, but respect yours as well.
James, any comment on ASM? RS will never be an issue, you said. I think you think or maybe know, that a deal is coming. Any comments? TIA
4Our your constant monitoring of market, like "no volume at Ask", very reassuring, at least for now! Keep it up and thanks.
"When it comes to the science or the fda, Ex, Vin and Goodjohnhunting are the most knowledgeable posters."
Uh, no, they are just the obvious sources you agree with NOT the most knowledgeable.
Bio, seems very clear now, doesn't it...
Robert, just to be clear about the RS split potential, King said that he didn't want to do a RS and would hold out as long as possible.
Quote:
As honest a post that has ever been written! At least the first two points you mentioned are on target, IMO. Of course your "out" is "frustration."
"RS next week". It is obvious, more than obvious, that this is grasping for straws that don't even exist.
Thanks CP for making this ASM a much more comfortable event than in the past. Mojo just in time to serve dessert. Speaking of eating, welcome to our sunny shores CP (assumption). Good surprises coming. It will be nice to bury Fargo once and for all.
I KNOW that, except for jbain, no one's attitude has changed that I know of. It is impossible to know who is sincere/honest (negative or positive) here and who is a gunslinger. So this post will end up being fruitless and a waste of time.
Okay TT, understand. I see from you a lot of negative attitude, questioning everything. And you're right, I'm on the other side and probably don't voice my opposition to management because I feel it's unproductive. I HAVE doubts, especially since 2012 and February. But I also feel, which you evidently don't, that outside influences have tried to sabotage bavi. Period. I think management has gone through trials that we have no idea of and have salvaged, so far, a drug that has been under attack from the get-go.
Thanks for reply and hope for better than good news tomorrow. Again I do place a lot of my faith in James and CP and others. And I do think that Jake too has been very balanced toward bavi, though he probably would like to see a whole new BoD tomorrow!
Good time to have a PR AF!
#1 stock board. STOP BAVITUXIMAB the reason.
