What book are you referring to?
Don't pop the champagne just yet. This is just the tip of the iceberg, and it's a HUUUUGE iceberg at that.
Normal midday sell off. Should level out into the uppder .22x's and then hopefully we get another rise up this afternoon!
Can you post L2 please please please
It looks like ~.218 is the new floor.
No problem at all simple mistake :) Maybe while you are in your corner you can relax and enjoy the ride up in the coming days/weeks.
You are reading them wrong. If you actually click into the document you'll see the date that they were released.
It looks like we also have a link to Fullmer Construction through Danny Mitchell as well. They have over 2 billion in revenue in the last decade. http://www.fullmerco.com/
Also a pretty impressive customer list for MD, some of them:
Boeing
Coca Cola Foods
General Electric
Hanes Brands
Johnson Controls
Kraft/Oscar Mayer Foods
McDonald Douglas
Nestle
Sears
Toshiba International
US Navy
Wal Mart
Did anyone else notice the relationship between MD Energy and its sister company Tiger Electric? Looks like we are creating some good strategic alliances throughout the industry.
I am losing my patentce waiting for this quarterly report! I mean patience...
Even with 500 million shares outstanding
If we get hot like SOPW we will jump up regardless. Our price to sales ratio is extremely low right now. If we match half of SOPW's current price to sales ratio, with 500 million shares, using 12 million revenue for Q3 we would be at .82 per share.
So sit back, relax, drink a few beers to calm the nerves, and enjoy the ride.
Price to sales is a trailing twelve month ratio and will only get better once a full year of SunWorks revs are realized. We could easily be over the $1 dollar mark by spring of next year.
Yea that's what it shows. The chart didn't paste very legibly from excel so it's a little tough to read.
Using VSLR's P/S of 100x and scenario #2... we would be over $10 per share!
I feel you. How many are we expecting I forget?
Here are a few scenarios using 400 million outstanding and relatively tame revenue estimates.
1)
Q1 Q2 Q3 (Est) Q4 (Est) Total
Revenue 1,047 7,471 12,000 15,000 35,518
Share Count 400,000
Rev per Share 0.088795
Current Price 0.178
P/S Ratio Current 2.005
P/S Scenarios 6.5x 20x (Half of SOPW) 40x
Share Price $0.577 $1.776 $3.552
2)
Q1 Q2 Q3 (Est) Q4 (Est) Total
Revenue 1,047 7,471 15,000 20,000 43,518
Share Count 400,000
Rev per Share 0.108795
Current Price: 0.178
P/S Ratio Current: 1.636
P/S Scenarios 6.5x 20x (Half of SOPW) 40x
Share Price $0.707 $2.176 $4.352
I think you're right on with your estimates. Another acquisition could really pump this up pretty quick especially coincided with earnings.
Back to you price/sales. Most financial websites do use TTM for comparison sake. If we use this years numbers plus an estimated 12 mil for Q3 and use a share count of around 500 mil (estimated with dilution) then we will be right around .041 revenue per share. Add in Q4 and it's easy to see how this thing can sky rocket after a full year of earnings is reported next year.
I completely agree with this. I expect the same thing as well. Another idea is that they may announce the merger a week earlier than the 10q (maybe next week?) in hopes of driving the share price up in order to cover the rest of the dilution shares with the increased volume.
Only time will tell but I am excited for November! .40's+ here we come.
Haha nice. I think the job postings for installers in the southern california area along with this PR pretty much confirms that an acquisition is basically finalized. I'm excited to see who it is and how were are going to pay for it.
Thanks for the informative post on the technical trends you are seeing. Do you have any books you recommend to enhance my knowledge in the area of technical analysis?
Good find! Expansion here we come.
No traders are touching this so far. Good news on the horizon?
I'm guessing we'll have a volume spike here in the next hour or so and a rise to around .225-.23 settling in around .215 to close.
Or even a penny swing on 10,000 shares is still 100 bucks. Do that every day and you can make a cool 30k more per year.
Looks like it was a great day for you traders out there.
Oh wise sage, what is the price at the top of the handle?
Looks pretty accurate to me.
Convertible notes which will create some dilution. Solar3D needed a steady cash flow to finish off the solar cell and bring it to market and SunWorks will be able to use the most efficient cell in the world once it comes to market. They also got the veteran leadership of JN.
After a quick search I found that SLTD had close to a million more revenue in the 2nd quarter than VSLR (Vivint) who's IPO was today and values them at 1.7 billion. They do have more cash on hand and are executing an aggressive growth strategy which accounts for most of it's debt but still...
SLTD at 60 million is valued more than 28 times less than Vivint!! This is completely ignoring the possibility of the cell.
If we were valued similarly, we would be at around 5.69 per share.
I know there are many other mitigating factors that go into valuing a company and simply saying that we should be worth 5.69 per share right now is largely inaccurate but don't be surprised if we get there sooner than you might have thought.
I was thinking the same thing. The way to do it is if you sell early on a spike, buy back in the same day so you're not out in the cold when one of these 3 AM press releases comes out. If you're sitting on the sidelines waiting to buy in and the manufacturing partner is announced, better than expected earnings, cell efficiency, etc. you will miss a whole lot more than you could have gained by buying in lower.
"With a wonderful business, you can figure out what will happen; you can't figure out when it will happen. You don't want to focus on when, you want to focus on what. If you're right about what, you don't have to worry about when"
Recycling Industries ribbon cutting ceremony starts in 1 hour. That may hit the news and attract a nice end of day run.
I think we will hit .28 before settling back down to the low .20's. This may be building in anticipation on tomorrow's event.
Safely projected revenues easily value us at closer to .30-.40 depending on what you use. I'm not sure if this is a slow creep up to Q3 earnings ,although it seems a little premature, or something different entirely. This ribbon cutting ceremony on the 30th is intriguing and this prices increase lends some credence to the idea that some sort of cell announcement, test installation, manufacturing news, etc.. will happen simultaneously.
I'm still considering selling my car, signing a 0 down lease, and using the cash I gain from the sale to invest here. Ahh decisions decisions..
That sounds a little childish. You act like there is never a reasonable time to conduct a reverse split, for any company, and you are wrong.
I agree. I think that we will try to reach the big boards organically, which is definitely feasible, and then possibly conduct a r/s once listed if deemed worthwhile.
I sent recycling industries a message asking them for details. Hopefully they will shed some more light on the system. I'll report the results if I hear back from them.
Ahh I still can't tell if in that pic on their website the panels are covering the entire roof. It looks like they might be which would lead me to believe that these are not the long awaited 3D cell panels. Hopefully I am wrong!
Great observation and I agree with your 10 watts per sqft assumption. I am excited about this announcement and hope it truly is a pilot project. Gotta love technology, google earth for the win!
I agree with you Mark. Energy is such big business that they will always try to squeeze as much money out of you as possible. Going completely off the grid would be a freeing experience.
