I really didn't loose all that much playing with pennies. I had some winners and some loosers. Somehow I managed to get out of SWET the first time without losing too much.
My losses have been way more playing in the big boys sandbox.
Right now I've suspended my active trades. I need to recover psychologically and financially before I'll do much active trading. I also need to work on my trading rules and strategies.
I'm holding two positions. SWET & ATHX.
ATHX is working on a stroke treatment. They are doing a phase 3 trial in Japan under the new framework that the Japanese recently put in place to make it easier for promising treatments to make it to market. I may end up holding it all the way until 2018. If it's approved I'll reap the tax benefits. If not I'm okay with the loss.
Don't get me wrong, I'm highly doubtful that it'll happen.
I just don't want to have any regrets if I'm wrong.
I've lost way more than I've got sitting in this in only a few seconds. I'm not counting on getting any of my money back. I'm just buying psychological peace of mind.
I already own 2 M. Cost basis isn't what it should be but I didn't buy back until I thought it might actually start moving again.
Like I said, I thought this PR was way more significant than it was.
Main reason I tossed in a little money on this is that I'd be REALLY pissed at myself if I'd watched this stock for as long as I have and got left behind.
In the bigger picture 2M shares against the actual float is probably just a tiny percentage. If this goes against the odds and actually gets off the ground they'll eventually have to do a R/S. Hopefully, it rises in value past 4 cents before they do.
When I first started reading todays PR I almost pulled the trigger on another 1M. Glad I didn't make the call...
I expected it to go into WAY more details. Maybe even talk about how the natural gas plant had been integrated into the design and that they had completed the engineering that they claimed has been the hold up.
You know, even after all the shit I've talked I'm still secretly rooting for this to succeed. I guess I'm just an optimist at heart.
The odds are probably at least a trillion to one based on the science, the practicality and the financial hurdle of getting it built.
At least it includes some numbers. Other than that it's just a written version of the demo video that's been out there for years.
I was driving when it came out. I managed to read the part that said that the document had been created to satisfy a DD request and that the company had "commissioned" the report. I was REALLY disappointed when I finally got to park and take a closer look at it.
You don't have to burn fuel oil. All you need to do is build a skirt and let the sun heat it. The hot air will naturally rise up the tower.

Looks like only 2 million on the bid.
I guess this helium wore off.
Gravity will reassert itself.
The flippers are getting nervous. They're just about ready to start flipping out.
Remember, he who flips first takes the smallest loss.
I suppose, there must a downward movement of air in front of an open refrigerator door.
Perhaps you would like to enlighten the board by elaborating on the similarly.
Not exactly...
Might be the sun.
SWET
SOLAR Wind Energy Tower
As cold air is created by evaporation it is replaced by fresh warm air from outside of the tower.
Obviously, the air is warmed by the sun. Is this not common knowledge?
Don't you know? Alternative facts are in this year. If Trump can do it anyone can.
One small step for man, one huge leap towards living in the World of Idiocracy.
It's possible that the SEC sent him "the letter" threatening to downgrade SWET to the bottom of the grays.
That might have motivated him to file the K.
After all, he probably would like to extract more money out of this POS.
Ooops, I guess I screwed that one up...
I am usually pretty creative with spelling. I'm pretty much spellchecker dependant.
Degenerate gamblers...
They don't know anything more than we do. In fact I'd say that unless they read this board they are woefully uninformed.
Slowjab has been here discussing the merits and fallibility of the project for many years. He's even been in contact with the city about several issues. I have grown to trust his opinion.
The bottom line is that the company has sold a mountain of shares through convertible notes collecting millions of dollars mostly from retail investors. The company has absolutely nothing but two websites to show for the expenditures.
OTC companies trading in the 000s don't build billion dollar experimental projects.
If an investment opportunity sounds too good to be true then it probably is.
You may get some use out of this.

I was calculating for pounds.
I guess 5000 gallons per minute is about right.
Are you sure you really want that number? It's still pretty intimidating.
41,413.32 pounds of water lifted 1/2 a mile into the air every minute.
This is based on company guesstimates of total usage per year.
Obviously, there will be some water that doesn't evaporate away as it falls through the tower. Whatever that percentage is would be added to this number. Would a safe guesstimate be 10%? Seems reasonable....
Best guess is that the tower would have to pump 45,554.65 pounds of water every minute of every day of every year for 50 years. That's a whole lot of pumping going on.
Whether it's a scam or not it's still the all time best pump & dump in the OTC.
You ain't got a calculator?
1 acre-foot = 325850.943 us liquid gallons
8000 acre feet of water is 2,606,807,544
A US liquid gallon of water weighs about 8.34 pounds.
2,606,807,544 gallons of water weighs 21,766,842,992.4 pounds.
Lifting 21.7 billion pounds of water almost 1/2 a mile straight up is a VERY big challenge.
Seems to me that 3 isn't the bottom. It's the top. We've already seen the bottom. I have little doubt that we'll see 0001 again.
Most people aren't comfortable with a 67 percent loss.
If you are trying to create an illusion showing that the insiders have faith in the company by choosing to accept shares in exchange for wages is a pretty powerful picture.
Unfortunately, we don't know exactly what is going on behind the scenes.
After all, the only thing that any of us have really seen is a cartoon illustration and a couple of websites.
The one thing Ron truly excels at is filling out the paperwork for convertible notes.
The constant issue of convertible notes was a big clue for me when I flipped from bull to bear on this.
The biggest wake up for me was when they said that they were going to R/S. If they have to R/S to keep the share price up then they obviously don't have anything real going on to keep it up organically.
This thing quacks and waddles but some people refuse to notice that it's a duck.
We don't actually know. I would guess that they get a cut of the proceeds from the shares sold by convertible notes.
They're many millions of dollars in the red. All of that money came from investors. We really don't know where it went. After all, the only thing that we can see is a couple of websites.
It's FUN and maybe even profitable to SAY that SWET is a successful company. However, one look at the financials should prove that you are MENTAL to believe it.
Fun Duh Mental
The negative stickies went up when the bulls lost control of the board.
Actually, I was a bull at the time. I was pretty butt hurt about it at first. Then my opinion changed about the company and I decided that it wasn't going to work out.
Back then I didn't think that I had a good enough of a reputation to be given mod status. I've lost a lot of posts for various infractions of iHub's rules. I was even suspended for a week or two once.
Once again I'm poking for the up vote button that isn't there. IHub WAS great back in the day. They haven't changed anything at all in years. Maybe they should hire Donald as a consultant.
The AS is way bigger than 1.5 B.
A company that builds power plants is probably worth more than $1 a share. In order to get there they'll have to do a R/S.
What is a company that only has a couple of websites worth? I say it's worth .0001. Right now the market says it's worth more but we all know that the market is often times driven by excitement. Once that fades the real price will remain.
The company put the R/S on the table a long time ago. I think that the original plan was to do the old stinky pinky shuffle. R/S and burn it down again. Who knows why they didn't?
If they actually do build this thing they're still going to do a R/S they'll never get past the pinks if they don't with such a huge amount of shares.
You don't think it is unusual for a company to go dark while they are continuing to sell shares through out the time with sneaky convertible notes? All of which were carefully sized to not trigger the threshold for reporting. If they had been honest about what they were doing the little volume that was there would have dried up.
That's quacking and waddling in my book. And you know what they say about things that quack and waddle, right?
SWET was dark for a long time. Now that they've just extended what they had set up years ago and you're exited?
If you truly believe in the company what does it matter that others who have been interested in the company for much longer think?
Right now it'll falling back to 0001.
Now that the company has finally dropped a PR there is a time frame. Ain't nobody going to be running this up without at least the hope that something is going to happen soon.
The long haul is at minimum a year.
Do you not have anything more interesting to do than watching this tick by tick?
Actions > words...
I guess you're selling 3's, right?
Don't you think that "the suckers" who read this board are going to see your enthusiasm about this and realize that all they're doing is buying shares that you don't want?
I know, they're suckers so probably not...
3's may be up but that doesn't mean that there is going to be any takers.
Why pay 50% more for a stock that you can wait a little while and buy for 50% less?
No brainer...
Will wonders never cease.
PT Barnum was truly a great prophet.
LMAO...
Nope, you're a little late to the party.
Next BIG RUN to 0003 might happen in 2018. Check back then.
Yup, that's basically it.
All they did was kick the can out another chunk of time. Now They've got another year and 3/4 to quietly sell shares in the background just like they did throughout the last year that they filled a financial report.
I wonder why they were late with the paperwork? Hmm...
Energy is thermal and kinetic.
I believe that's Jr. High level
I guess I was wrong about them not being able do any more convertible note deals.
It's been business as usual this whole time. Ron continues to sell shares whether he provides updates or not.
