Yep, below the 3rd entry point for longs, on its way down to the 2nd, The big $17, LOL, don't mean to say "I told you so" BUT?
Investors should be thinking 2007-2008, When bank stock went to zero.
‘Just not selling’: Canopy's results take hit as some retailers struggle to move oil and gel products
Cannabis retailers in parts of the country say they are struggling to sell Canopy Growth Corp.’s Tweed-branded oils and gel capsules, resulting in a glut of unsold inventory and raising the tricky question of how to handle returns in the nascent cannabis industry.
“They are just not selling. We have been talking to Canopy for some time now about the issues with their oils and gel capsules. They have known for months that most of the retailers are having problems selling them,” said Mark Goliger, chief executive of National Access Cannabis, a recreational cannabis retailer with 35 stores in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
Canopy’s recreational revenue declined by 12 per cent this quarter, the second consecutive decline in quarter-over-quarter revenue from adult-use sales. Its overall market share in the adult-use segment also declined, dropping the company to second place behind Aurora Cannabis Inc.
Canopy’s stock closed down nearly 15 per cent on Thursday, following the release of the results.
Canopy did not disclose how much of their recreational cannabis revenue came from oils and gels, nor the quarter-over-quarter performance of those categories.
One pot shop owner in the Greater Toronto Area, who asked not to be named for fear of damaging his relationship with Canopy, told the Financial Post that Tweed’s gel capsules were amongst the “worst-selling” cannabis products in his store, but also noted the store itself was partly to blame for the inventory backlog.
Warned you all weak hemp oils wouldn't sell with recreational users, and the same is going to happen with Tweeds weak. sugarless, tasteless, caffeineless, colorless, beverages and edibles.

LOL, Looks like Linton, doesn't have very much market for site, just like CGC investors, jump right in at the opening bell and by the end of day you have lost what you just put in, talk about paying to play, not good investing at all, including Linton.
2 points on your post, which in fact is a real possibility.
1. Depending on how close the research is to completion, If that's really all STZ is interested in, then They won't even need to grow Hemp too make their Cannabis beverages, it will all be made from their signature Brewers Yeast.
Yeast genetically-modified to produce cannabis compounds
Canadian researchers have coaxed brewer’s yeast into producing cannabis compounds.
https://www.zmescience.com/science/yeast-cannabis-compounds-92172308/
2. If STZ do acquirer more then 50% share or Buys CGC out 100%, they will no longer be allowed to continue business in Canada, as Canadian government has a strict prohibition on any ownership of Canadian cannabis companies being owned and operated by a Beer, Wine, or alcohol company, let alone Big American alcohol, if this is there plan they will sell off greenhouses, the 160 acres off land Bruce bought in Sask, which was licensed to late to grow a crop this season, Smith Falls, and exit the Canadian cannabis market due to restrictive Regulation.
I think investors will be stunned at the direction Constellation Brands will take.
CLAP...CLAP...CLAP
US legalization will be no different then Federal Canadian legalization, Feds General cannabis regulation, which they allow State and municipal governments to decide When, Where, and how or even if their cities will have legal weed, Decriminalization, or no legal access. As a mater of fact, its all ready started some states have capped THC levels, some are prohibiting candy edibles just like Canada and investors with all the Rent garbage missed the most important Weed/Acreage news of last week, that is New York only decriminalized cannabis and is now a fine based system, which means no recreational sales, production, or public use. Hope your investment can holdup with medical sales only in New York.
Cuomo signs legislation decriminalizing marijuana use in NY
July 29, 2019 01:27 PM
ALBANY, N.Y. (WHEC) — Gov. Andrew Cuomo has signed legislation decriminalizing marijuana use in New York state.
The legislation reduces the penalty for unlawful possession of marijuana to a violation punishable by a fine for possession of any amount of marijuana under two ounces. The penalty is $50 for possessing less than an ounce of pot or a maximum of $200 for one to two ounces.
It also creates a process for people who have been convicted for possessing small amounts of marijuana to have their records expunged.
"Communities of color have been disproportionately impacted by laws governing marijuana for far too long, and today we are ending this injustice once and for all," Cuomo said in a statement. "By providing individuals who have suffered the consequences of an unfair marijuana conviction with a path to have their records expunged and by reducing draconian penalties, we are taking a critical step forward in addressing a broken and discriminatory criminal justice process."
State lawmakers considered legalizing marijuana for recreational use this year, but that legislation stalled.
The law takes effect 30 days from Monday.

Please explain the relevance between A Canadian company that is shutdown for a statutory holiday, the whole Canadian stock exchange shutdown, the company has no revenue for the day, and has no performance for the day,
And:
A American stock exchanges ticker (CGC) that is invested in the same Canadian weed company that is shutdown, making no income, and has no performance for the day.
How are Americans making or losing money on a Canadian Company that is not even open for business for the day?
What are US investors betting their CGC stocks on, if the whole Canadian Market and companies are are showing no revenue and no performance?
Answer: Hype, Speculation, unknown performance and zero revenue/sale?
Americans do realize retail is closed monday too right.
For the extreme longs in the cannabis space, this must feel like the last time losing your money on the US stinky Pinks (OTC Scam). Why do investors insist on accumulating five minutes into days opening, only to lose the shares they bought at the closing bell, doesn't sound like a good investment plan to me.
This is just the beginning, the economy is in rescission, huge companies going out of business, Debt based economy, rise in auto loan delinquencies and foreclosures, the market is crashing, investors here listen only to speculation and iggy all the facts and truths, If you are not listening now, you will regret it very soon
CGC investors can put away their hopes for the billions from Acreage, Como just announced NY Decriminalization and not legalization, which means no recreational production or sales, thing are not looking good for your investment, take what you can now.

Your speculation doesn't ring true to the actual Canadian weed industry, Health Canada's stats for May[, you know,(the sectors next quarter) shows the same as all the rest from last October, Flat, stagnate sales,(lower then expected), and there are more then 2 class action lawsuits against LPs that are beginning. I personally only see LP crimes, corruption, Regulation violation and stock manipulation. I have said from the beginning doesn't matter about the 20 things a LP does right, one Criminal CEO will bury the whole industry.

Sorry but you are WRONG, Anyone with a $40 Juicer can made their own Cannabis/Hemp/CBD fruit juice, I make Canna Apple with my plant material, and has all the healthy Cannabinoids that people get with a can of Tweed T that these wallets will be charging $20 for. BTW no one saves any money doing their own drinks when paying a fortune for their shake (BOB.
Secondly, For $350us anyone can buy a Portable cannabis extractor, and actually make RSO oil which is 100x better Quality then any LP's regulated easy bake oven oil (CO2), again you save nothing buying the weed that is over priced to begin with.
Now here is a beautiful displayed Cannabis edible.
How does Tweed or any government sanctioned weed corporation expect profitability, when sales continue to drop because their cannabis products are so over priced, customers are walking out empty handed whether it be cost, poor quality, or out of stock of the products they wish to buy? There is only one way that LP's see profits and thats selling their wholesale product for no more then $2.50 a gram, and retail sells for less then $5.00 a gram, and start growing and offering better buds, and well like I said before Canadian recreational users would care about fancy hemp drinks and CBD face creams, High THC, High quality, dried cannabis too impress their friends who are already passing joints around, "Here, have a sip of my CBD is not what they want to hear.
Illegal cannabis getting even cheaper, as legal gets costlier, StatsCan says
Statistics Canada's quarterly report on cannabis prices suggests the cost chasm between legal and illegal versions of the drug is wide, and getting wider.
The data agency reported Wednesday that the price gap between the two types of cannabis is as wide as $4.72 a gram, on average.
Canada legalized recreational cannabis last October, but the rollout across the country has been plagued by delays, limited supply, and other logistical issues.
StatsCan has been asking Canadian cannabis users to tell them about how often they use the drug, and what they pay for it when they do, and the data paints an illuminating picture of a part Canadian society that used to operate solely in shadows.
Based on 572 voluntary responses the data agency deemed credible in the second quarter, StatsCan said the illegal version of the price fell from $6.23 per gram on average, at the start of the year, to $5.93 a gram in the three months up to the end of June.
Legal cannabis, meanwhile, went from $10.21 per gram to $10.65. That means the gap between the two is now as wide as $4.72 a gram.

Medical Marijuana Research in Canada Is Going Nowhere
Research facilities in Canada are still cutting through red tape in a legal marijuana marketplace
It was said last year that Canada was poised to become a global leader in the realm of medical marijuana research. It made perfect sense, too, what with the country being one of the first to ultimately end marijuana prohibition nationwide. There would be nothing to stop the barrage of researchers all across the northern nation from rolling up their sleeves to learn more about the therapeutic powers of the cannabis plant.
It was exciting news for those of us living in the United States, especially since the federal government continues to uphold a prohibition standard. The powers that be still refuse to embrace the possibilities of cannabis and will not lighten the nation’s drug policies enough to give science a fighting chance at showing the value in weed. But as long as our friends in Canada were up there, proving to the world that cannabis is medicine, the naysayers of the nug couldn’t stand in the way of progress for much longer.
Well, so much for hope.
Come to find out, Canadian researchers haven’t even started exploring medical marijuana in any real capacity. A report from CTV News indicates that hundreds of research facilities are still too busy trying to cut through the red tape and deal with other complexities of the approval process.
Although cannabis is entirely legal in Canada, scientists there are still required to hold a license before they engage in a single study. Furthermore, the hundreds of research licenses that existed before the country went legal are being forced to transition over to the Cannabis Act. As for newcomers, well, their approval isn’t exactly happening with haste. So far, only around 65 new licenses have been approved since the country’s monumental pot law took effect in October.
Some researchers say the approval process is “so difficult” that many “don’t even try” for a license. Why all of the snags, however, is something most of them cannot wrap their heads around.
While a lot of these folks are eager to get involved in cannabis research to find out how it might benefit patients with dreadful diseases, solve the stoned driving conundrum and other unknowns, the research policies outlined in Canada’s new pot law are designed more for the industry itself.
And that has thrown a bit of a wrench in the idea of science exploring marijuana for the sake of humanity.

Your opinion has no bases in this since you have admitted you don't use cannabis, and you don't live in Canada, truth is BM cannabis is safer then Big weed corporations, for the simple fact most growers smoke their own product and the dealers that buy from them smoke the same buds, where as fat wallet CEO's for the most part don't use their product, all they care about is profit and the bottom line and fast turnaround time, as well the employee's know what pesticides are being sprayed on their plant. Don't believe me, just read the cannabis headlines.
Consumers have been finding bugs in bud purchased from the Ontario Cannabis Store
OCS Won’t Recall Cannabis Contaminated with Bugs
News of the bug-contaminated bud spread like wildfire on Reddit. Hundreds of Redditors posted pics and vids of the little guys curled up in the flowers: most dead, some squirming a little, some leaving behind only their burrows. Some buyers, reviewing their haul for their YouTube channels, didn’t discover the bugs until viewers pointed them out in the comments. Others found the bugs right away.

Why so many Chemicals on Government of Canada Cannabis ? Is this safe to Smoke ?
Am I reading this right ? Is this safe to smoke ?
I think it is safer to Grow your own 4 plants. What are people smoking these days ?
What I used to think was an adverse reaction to High THC I now think is a near death experience from smoking or eating Canadian approved “Acephate” on my Weed and edibles.... (among 96 Chemicals approved by Health Canada to be used to grow Legal weed)
This is the Weed that will be flowing into the USA from Canada via Acreage Holdings and Canopy Growth ... I have no idea why this is being allowed. Is there a UN, World Government plan to wipe out the Population ? Is this the Big Plan to depopulate the Earth ? Am I Paranoid ? Smoking too much High THC government weed ? https://business.financialpost.com/cannabis/canopy-growth-is-near-a-deal-to-acquire-acreage-holdings
Just look at #2 on the list.... Acephate ... you want to smoke this ?

Well, since that is exactly what the big beer monopoly does make yeast, it only means doubling their production of the product they make, instead of trying to profit from a plant that takes 4 months to produce and get to market, and a product that these mining & tech CEOs have no experience with. Everyone has this fantasy that hemp is going to produce every product on the planet, everything from Cars and homes to face cream and Toilet paper, There isn't enough suitable land to accomplish this.
Bruce's last deal as CGC CEO, Bought 160 acres of land too grow Hemp, but received license to late too finish 1 grow cycle in Sask, not to mention right in the Natives backyard who happen to be growing and selling their own cannabis through self regulation. Likewise in Ontario there are 3 native reserves close to Smith Falls that are doing huge business serving the entire Ottawa Valley.
THC slushies, pirate radio and the cannabis-driven boom in a Mohawk community
Driving down Highway 401 in southern Ontario, with the FM dial tuned to 87.9, the 1990s-era rap music fades into an ad, offering a free joint with every purchase over $20 between midnight and 4:20 a.m. at the Pot Shoppe.
A second ad then promotes a "car show for Jeeps" in the parking lot of the Pot Shoppe every Tuesday night.
"Don't forget, we have free coffee for the driver and our famous Pot Shoppe slushies at half-price for the passenger," the ad says. "THC-infused slushies — just a little more brain freeze."

I posted (predicted) right after the axing of bruce that Constellation would be selling off most of their grow space, and what they do keep it will be turned into laboratories, as within the year all their beverages and edibles will be lab produced, GMO, Synthetic, Cannabis, made from STZ's signature brewers yeast, and won't even be produced from the cannabis/hemp plant itself. Again if investors would actually read my post, you would be ahead of the breaking news.
Question for: actual cannabis users if Tweeds non alcohol drinks are not mad from the plant but from moldy yeast, would you or would you not buy these fake Hemp products?
Yeast genetically-modified to produce cannabis compounds
Canadian researchers have coaxed brewer’s yeast into producing cannabis compounds. You don’t need cannabis to get cannabinoids — at least not at the University of California, Berkeley. One team there successfully engineered a strain of brewer’s yeast that can produce cannabinoids — chemicals with medicinal and sometimes mind-altering properties.

Thanks D I will forward the ad to Health Canada for review.
Yes listen closely to the beginning of this video, very insightful and candied, Bruce said it was a mistake jumping into Canadian Cannabis so early, and that Tweed was within days of filing bankruptcy more then once over the 4 years, What does that say too you about the risk of your investments?
Why do investors continue to speculate and fantasize without doing any DD and when the answers to your questions are a google search away? When I read the cannabis news I speculate that Constellation will either sell their stake, and get out of the weed biz altogether, or buy CGC outright and leave the Canadian weed industry within a year. Americans need to read the Government sanctioned regulations and realize there is no profitability in Canadian weed.
Canadian Pot Drinks Restricted From Using Terms Like ‘Beer’ & ‘Wine’
Although the concept of THC-infused beverages was predicted early on to be the exciting, modern approach to cannabis commerce that was going to take the industry to new heights of profitability, we’re probably not going to see this sector crushing it too hard later this year when it is rolled out in the northern nation.
Health Canada recently published rules that cannabis beverage-makers must adhere to in order to sling stoner sips in the coming months, and we’ve got to tell you there is certainly going to be a lack of sex appeal when these products hit the shelves in mid-December.
Canadian beverage makers are scrambling around trying to figure out how to brand their products to make them appealing to the consumer when the edibles markets open up later this year. But there are strict limitations that they must follow with respect to packaging that some fear may make these products a tough sell. For starters, none of the beverages can use familiar terminology like “beer” or “wine” to give the consumer some point of reference as to what the product might taste like.
Furthermore, all of the THC-infused drinks must be packaged according to the same guidelines as other pot products sold in Canada. This means they will be presented in opaque, child-proof containers with plain labels. Toss in the fact that these drinks will likely be given generic names like “Barley Soda,” and it is easy to see why there is some concern about whether there will be any fanfare.
“You have to essentially mirror the packaging of dried flower,” Hill Street Beverage Co.’s Terry Donnelly told Global News. “The beverage has to essentially look like toilet bowl cleanser.”
Unlike in the United States, where 11 states have legalized marijuana for recreational use, the Canadian government has taken a bizarre approach to its cannabis trade. While a consumer stepping inside a retail reefer outlet in the states can find brands like Willie’s Reserve and Marley Natural — all with their own unique packaging and graphics — the Canadian cannabis scene doesn’t allow any of that. “It’s almost like you’re buying something dirty in brown paper bags,” Neil Selfe, founder and chief executive officer of Infor Financial Group Inc, told Bloomberg. “It’s like liquor in the ’60s.”
Not only are the words “beer” and “wine” prohibited from being mentioned on Canadian cannabis beverages, but so are all of the alternatives. Beverage makers cannot plaster their products with labels like “Lager,” “Chardonnay,” or “Riesling.” Essentially, any descriptive term that has been used on a bottle of alcoholic anything (or tobacco for that matter) is off limits to the cannabis industry. Health Canada says this is happening because “combining cannabis with other substances can increase impairment or increase the risk of problematic use and associated harms.”
There were hopes that Health Canada would relax the regulations a bit for the edibles sector ahead of last Friday’s announcement, but the final rules show that the government still believes the plain jane approach is best for weed. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has maintained throughout all of the discussions about Canada legalizing the leaf, that it has nothing to do with business. He only wants to stop criminal organizations from profiting and prevent minors from using it. Whether this model has been a success is another story. The Canadian black market still appears to be thriving, according to reports.
In some ways, it could be argued that the restrictive nature of the packaging rules gives cannabis companies an opportunity to establish something of their own. But since the concept of branding has been eliminated from the equation, cannabis firms are really left in the dark as to what is acceptable to print on labels and what isn’t. Some companies are actually toying with names like “Barley Soda,” or as Donnelly jokes “liquid fermented extract of cereal grains.” But ultimately, these firms are confused about the terminology they can use without being shut down by regulatory forces. “It literally leaves us guessing. We have created the names, we have invented new words to describe our beverages, and we hope that consumers will understand what they are,” Donnelly said.
It is the branding and marketing restriction that is and will continue to prevent Canada from becoming the global leader in cannabis, explains Selfe. “It’s a real consumer product in big U.S. states where it’s legal, and it isn’t that way yet in Canada despite the fact that we were first,” he said.
Some believe that the cannabis beverage market was a dead dog long before Canada released its rules on packaging. It was just last month that Aurora Cannabis CEO Terry Booth told investors that the company was starting to second-guess the market potential of cannabis drinks. Most of this squashed enthusiasm seems to be about the fact that it is going to be a long time before marijuana is sold in social situations the same as alcohol. But nevertheless, Booth assured the company’s money men and women that “the proven market is certainly not in beverage.”
But the THC-beverage scene could still take off. Some of the latest data from market research firm Deloitte still has this sector pegged as being part of a $1.6 billion stake in the Canadian cannabis market. “Cannabis-infused beverages” could be worth “$529 million,” said Jennifer Lee, a partner and Deloitte Canada’s Cannabis National Leader, and Consumer Advisory and Analytics Practice National Leader.
How it all shakes out in the end, we will just have to wait and see

Do Not listen to America's on this, this is exactly what the Canadian Authorities are looking for, it will put your shares at risk of being put on hold, and depending on the borrower, may lead to criminal charges. One must remember there is no legalities in the US because its not a regulated commodity.
Canadian regulators put short sellers on notice over abusive practices
Activist short selling has been on the rise in Canadian markets in the past few years, with some prominent short sellers using social media outlets such as Twitter to publicize their positions and amplify their views. This has added a new dimension to the friction between investors seeking growth and those who borrow shares in a bet the price will fall so they can profit from the difference when they return the shares.
The regulators declined to comment further Thursday on whether their focus on short selling will be on trading rules, communications, or some other aspect of short campaigns.
They were clearer on their response to “problematic” promotional activities they are seeing in emerging sectors such as cryptocurrency, cannabis, and block-chain, as well as mining.
In Thursday’s notice, the CSA warned that its concerns extend beyond the venture marketplace and may result in a regulatory response ranging from requiring a company to issue a “clarifying” news release to referring the matter to enforcement.
“We will continue to monitor promotional activity and we will consider whether the scope and extent of problematic promotional activities require compliance or enforcement regulatory action to protect investors and the integrity of our capital markets,” the regulatory organization said in the notice.
The CSA is particularly concerned about promotional activities regulators have observed that are either untrue or are “unbalanced to such extent that they may mislead investors.”
The regulators did not name any names in connection with the troubling promotional activities, though they did elaborate on specific instances. Among them were cases where a company announces a name or business change that references an association with the cannabis sector or a hot emerging technology or mineral — such as blockchain or cobalt —without a supporting business plan.
There have also been instances where a positive event such as a large acquisition is announced and then the transaction is changed or cancelled without an announcement, and others where numerous news releases are issued that do not disclose any new material facts.
In another iteration of the trend that regulators find concerning, and which they say has the potential to mislead, third parties are compensated to use social media and investing blogs to promote companies without disclosing their compensation or financial interest.
Social media use is an area of increasing focus for regulators, and the CSA is also zeroing in on social media posts that describe early-stage plans with “unwarranted certainty” or make unsupported assertions about the growth of markets or demand for a certain product.

Please post a link, Fact is The whole government sanctioned sector sales numbers are flat, stagnate, and way below expectation, even with Ontario retail in Apr, barely 7% increase in sales.
BTW it's been 2 weeks since the firing and not one update, not one news flash, and not one word about direction, not very good for your investment.
Yep, all the fat wallet, government sanctioned ditch weed owners are criminals, they are all violating the Cannabis Act, and are all breaking cannabis laws whether it be, alcohol companies running and branding Canadian weed corporations, hiring celebrities to illegally promote and endorse their companies, building fake walls to hide how much they are growing from health Canada, buying shell corporations to legitimatize their expenses, using whatever means to manipulate their stocks or using illegal pesticides and hiding them from Health Canada, yes I will lobby the government every chance I get to have these criminals licenses revoked, and Health Canada is starting to listen, at least 2 have been revoked, and the Canadian securities exchange is investigating at least 2 of these weed stock scams. Think twice about where you lend your money, Authorities are watching closely,
Stay Tuned.
Why is hell Canada allowing a US Alcohol company to Run and make financial decisions for a Canadian weed co.?

Constellation CEO ‘not pleased’ with pot investment Canopy Growth’s recent earnings, is this not a violation of your Cannabis Act? Revoke licenses https://t.co/Zx5VOxVCK1
If STZ/Constellation were to take over, or even take a majority stake in CGC, operations in Canada will cease, and Tweed would have to move to the US. I recommend weed investors go read the Cannabis Act, the regulations before all the speculation.
Proposed that no association with alcoholic beverages will be permitted...so no slapping existing alcohol brands onto non-alcoholic cannabis beverages.

Can you post your proof of lenders premiums and your buys in the 60's and 70's when you said you were accumulating? I always wonder how much you have lost in profit by holding and accumulating at over evaluated share price? Contrary to what investors believe, you only make profit when you cash out on highs, otherwise your profits are on paper only and with investors signature on legal documents, allows the corporation to own your money, if longs wait to long, they will not only lose profit but your investment as well. Have a great day.
The real reason Rogen is baling from CGC, is because as per government sanctioned prohibition on Advertising, Promotion, marketing, sponsorship, and endorsements, he gets no promotion himself. Celebs are starting too realize they get nothing out of their deals other then money, which as you have found out, their is little to no profitability in this sector. Rogen is just the first of the fat wallet celebrities too get out, he won't be the last, even Constellation, can't be marketed in Canada because cannabis can't be connected to alcohol companies in any way, shape, or form.
I warned everyone in the beginning there is no Cannabis industry, you are all invested in a Government scheme.
CGC investors have no idea how fast and how much this corporation will change! my speculation is over half of grow space that Bruce bought will be liquidated "Gone". I believe that the difference in direction between Constellation beer & beverages and Bruce's Willy Woncka chocolates was the reason for the split, because lets face it STZ is a alcohol corporation.
As well most of the acres of grow space will be turned into laboratories, since all the oils, edibles, beverages, and cannabinds they do decide to produce will be made from their own signature Brewers yeast. Everyone jumped for joy when big Alcohol entered, But in a years time Hemp/CBD/Cannabis/food and drinks will not even be made from the plant itself. STZ takes over and you are no longer cannabis producers.

Canopy CEO has a “misunderstanding” on quality control issue 3 different ways – media only calls him on 1 way
There are three problems with this statement:
Fentanyl has been found to have contaminated illicit cannabis in exactly zero cases.
Eagle 20, a potentially lethal pesticide when heated, has been found by journalists to have contaminated two samples of tested cannabis – both were from Licensed Producers. Eagle 20 has not been found in any non-LP cannabis tested by the same journalists.
Those in the black market wish to test their cannabis for contaminants, but are not legally allowed to do so.

Bruce and the rest of the top brass cash out every year, you all say Bruce deserve a bonus, a corporate jet, a profit, all this for being the CEO of a corporation that is not profitable and lost $130 million, would any of you investors still "be all in, long" if this company made subpar cars that few are buying, with a financial statement like CGC? Investors are so bias and awestruck with Bruce's Tweed jacket that you can't see or won't except how bad CGC is performing.
From last year, BTW where's surfergirl?
You may be correct about street dealers, but you are wrong when it comes to Non profit self regulated medical dispensaries, and Native dispensaries, My 2 Compassion clubs in Toronto are still open 7 days a week and are selling Kgs a day. Investors here seem to use statements that are completely false, and inaccurate, without doing any due diligence or knowing anything about Cannabis in Canada and its cannabis community.
My response too your post is directly on topic to our conversation, and compares "Tweeds"(CGC) quality and price with native reserves legal cannabis, On topic and important information on other legal cannabis products that users need, to Compare legal Tweed weed to legal Native cannabis.
Why do investors continue to misinform and use incorrect statements to try and mitigate any negative issue? NO sales did not rise, the rec sales have been flat, with little to no movement since last October, and Apr. Ontario retail did nothing to move it up. Investors can hype and try to justify bad news, but the truth dosen't come from the LP's, or the speculation from the "Financial Experts" that knows nothing about Canadian Cannabis.
Until Bruce stops being a real estate mogul and buying up property thats not even growing weed, and starts to grow good cannabis in smaller spaces, investors including STZ, and this company won't see a dime in profitability.
Well he might as well sell his shares as His company gets no promotion, no advertising, and will never get the billions of dollars out of Tweed or any LP. Apr. sales numbers are out, the Ontario retail did nothing to boast sales, still flat, stagnate, and non existent, The only area the LP's increased was ridiculously huge amount of ditch weed inventory that is not even processed.
Constellation Brands can't sell Tweed products here in Canada, as their is a Government prohibition that no Cannabis products can be linked to any Alcohol Companies, brands, or advertising, this includes wine and beer industry. Tweed can't market or promote Constellation, they are partners financially only as in silent partner.
Certain investors here have been encouraging buying at highs 70+, but they will never admit to losing those gains, if they even accumulated at those points? Same ones that are "renting out" their shares to shorts, that are driving down your investment dollars, and you all have no problem with that.
I am not talking about outdoor growing in NY by acerage, since CGC can't be legal until federal law legalizes weed. I am talking about Tweeds outdoor expansion license in Sask just now, which is a month or more behind the grow season. Correct you are for late spring in NY but in Sask seeds and seedling need to be in the ground extra early because of the shorter grow season, and harvested extra early on account of early frost. You do know once frost hits a bud and ice crystals form, it destroys biological cells, Trichormes and terpeans, basically rendering the plant useless for any purpose. FYI its a month to late to start a crop, Sask has a earlier frost then Ont and all will be harvested too early.
Outdoor growing is nothing like indoor, you can't force your plants in to flowering by changing your timer on light like you can in a grow room.
Again, do you know anything about outdoor grow cycles? Most strains outdoor finish in the first week of oct. and even Auto flowering strains that are a little faster flowering will still take 4-6 weeks in growth(vegetation) to begin flowering. cycles are exact not random whenever.
LMAO, Huge announcement "Tweed receives outdoor license" for everyone who knows nothing about outdoor growing in Canada, Tweed is a month late on planting, and any plants they do get into the ground won't finish before the first frost. Don't expect any harvest this year from these jokers, and if do get anything to harvest Cannabinods will not have matured to have any value, The only place in Canada that have a longer outdoor season is southern BC, Sask even has frost before Ontario. This is not to mention outdoor growing anything in Canada is a seasonal business, investors really have no idea.
Nope, that is not how Tweed treats their employees, CGC is a horrible place to work, Bad Bad reviews.

Post harvest is a mess
post harvest (Former Employee) – Delta, BC – 16 June 2019
a typical day of work here is chaos. manager gives no direction and forced to learn on our own from SOP's without any clarification. Expected to be able to do everything perfect on first day. never have enough supplies to complete given task. managers and supervisors are nowhere to be found in times of need. multiple language barriers. hardest part of the job is to deal with the manager because she doesn't know what's going on and directs you to supervisors. if you don't suck up to her you won't be part of the "cool" crowd. co-workers are dope.
Pros
happy hours
Cons
chaotic work environment, manager is obnoxious

Human Rights? Forget it. Decent wage? Forget it. Harassment? Tons.
2 star rating is generous considering you have to give 1 star when they deserve zero.
One supervisor was great but she left months ago.
Pros
Free tan.
Cons
Working here.
Don't waste your time

Sexism, racism, HR doesn't do anything for you. Temporary foreign workers are taken advantage of because they won't hire Canadians. The pay is terrible for the work they ask of you. Stock options are dangled in front of you but you will be fired for looking at someone wrong. Managers are unqualified and don't even understand the culture. If you don't drink the Kool Aid you will be shunned. If you bring up issues you will be fired. There is a divide between the office and greenhouse. The office staff are snobby towards the greenhouse staff, the people making sure the plants are healthy so they get paid... It's honestly a joke of a company. They can't even keep materials on site to do the work needed.
Pros
Happy hour with snakes
Cons
Snakes in the grass
Etc, Etc, Etc. Still what a job at Tweed?, still want your investment money contributing to garbage?
