I have no friggin clue what's going on with the PPS. Don't know about conspiracies, secret handhsakes, etc, etc. The most bizarre, frustrating investment I've ever had. I do think Trixie has screwed us and people are gun shy. The only thing I know is that they can't ignore us forever (as long we continue to hit milestones - don't care if some of them are 1-2 weeks late). And I am a buyer sub 1.50. don't really want to, but have to chase the dilution at this point.
Yes, that's a good way of putting it...there going alone til there not going alone. Don't disagree that its all costing $ and the hires are for real. But Charles at 70 is not jumping in for a nice 5, 7, 10 year run at Titan. He's in for the 2 year sprint. The Zaring hire is the smoking gun. If anyone was on the fence about a buyout or not, bringing in Zaring should put that to rest.
It's conceivable that in roughly 12 months we could be getting bought out for 1, 2, 4 billion dollars. And yet here we sit at basically pennies with our thumbs up our A$$
They will not be going it alone. Of course they have to proceed as if they are. If they weren't they might as well come out now and say were for sale. Let the bidding begin. It does them no good. I assume they will keep moving forward with a go it alone strategy until they get the offer they want. This will be after FDA approval, IMO. They might get a low ball offer days after approval and say screw you were plowing ahead. This strategy allows them lee way until they get the value the want.
Plus...all of Mc's history indicates a strategy of a buyout.
Second, they will need tens of millions on top of what they already need to get a production line, etc, etc up and going. Not going to happen when your selling 10-12 systems first year.
Nice to see the ask at $54 dollars right now...lol
Some day...
Since when did we get to 40 approved patents?? I thought we were around 33-34. Will someone please rip the damn muzzle off this company. Despite complete silence Jasminder is really a stud. There IP portfolio is slowly becoming VERY impressive. A ton of value in there IP alone at this stage.
The reprice sucked for alot of us longs, but glad it was enough to keep him around...
Actually these shares were purchased out of pocket by Zaring. Decent chunk. Would be nice if others would follow suit.
Just curious SPORT, do you have a theory why Charles and Zaring came over to Titan? I think it's clear conventional wisdom says they have zero reason to waste there time with such an endeavor with there resumes, expertise, clout, etc ,etc.
Although pps has been absolute dogsh*t, the bigger question is why do all these talented, veteran, smart people continue to come to work for Titan?
I'm expecting GLP news out soon. At least it better be. Monday would be a nice start to the week.
No rebrand at SRS. Not for a while.
He didn't change the timeline. GLP and IDE are good. Were still on track, as of now.
Mid July, so IDE a couple weeks later if Mc said that. Don't really consider that a delay. Assuming that remains the case. No clue on financing . They continue to look at other non dilution options every day, but not holding my breath. I'm just hoping we get a bump soon to get some 3.20 money. 1 to 4 back in July in only a few weeks.
Don't remember Mc saying Q2. Yes, IDE application after GLP completed. They can't start that til GLP done.
Rebranding is not coming during SRS, and actually not for a while. However should be getting a new video during SRS. GLP studies will be done by mid July with IDE starting immediately after. Everything still on track.

You going to be at DIA in San Diego at the end of the month? All the big CRO's and some sponsors will be there. It's my main market for sales.
Too much dilution at the end of the day. It will still be a very nice return in the end, just not the homerun we all hoped for...imo. Mc and co. are not getting out of here without a decent payday. This is why I'm a believer in avg down at these levels. Not doing a ton of buying because of lack of liquid funds, but if we drop much more I will figure something out
I have no idea what is going to trigger this thing. All I know is I have never been more confident that this project is making huge progress very quickly, and will actually be completed. However I have no clue about pps, why the disconnect in MC, or when this pops. I also unfortunately think are buyout will be about half what I was expecting/hoping. It will still be in the B's though.
Seriously dude, enough with your faux outrage. Were a pre revenue development company, not proctor and gamble. So Mc decides to listen to his SAB experts in 2018 and he's suddenly a liar. Why even have them if your not going to listen to them.
Relax, your short position is still fine, you still have plenty of time to cover.
Were in June, they've affirmed timelines, milestones, etc. PJ is not going to give the valuation they gave after visiting plexus, mgmt, etc. No delays.
If they sell out for $10-12 I'll be joining the militia on here in protest.
I see the Shorts are loud and proud today. Novel concept, but let's see what happens at the AGM. Or better yet, let's see if they submit to reg. by December. Although, I'm moving that up a month to November considering how fast there moving. In fact, giving it a sliver of a chance FDA approval by end of Q1 2020.
You would be right on if we were talking about the previous team. I'd say Mc and his team have done a pretty damn good job since taking over this dumpster fire. Between Nasdaq, IP portfolio, Clinical significance, Regulatory fast track, etc I think its impressive in only 2 years.
I think it was BigT a while back that said the general rule was giving a new CEO/team 3 years (avg) to turn a sinking ship around. We'll be waiting for FDA approval news on there 3rd year anniversary. Just about right on time.
Of course all this assumes no F ups from here on out.
Simple math has us around 55 mil O/S when it's all said and done.
What are you talking about?? They have zero responsibility to make public people occasionally reaching out to them regarding offers. There not actively shopping Titan (as far as we know), so how can they control people reaching out to them?
Who says they are lining up sales? I'm sure they won't have any trouble at all selling the first 10-12 units when available, but news to me if there gathering PO's.
They have had several companies reach out to them for buyout, etc. At least last year. I don't know about recently. They don't and have not been marketing SPORT before FDA. They can get offers without actively shopping it. Especially when you have a great product/system. You can't stop people from randomly reaching out to you inquiring/offering.
Agreed, this is complete nonsense. We're sitting at a MC of 80 mil with a buyout in 12 -16 months. Its a screaming buy until the buyout happens.
Let's not forget that BigT was also saying a screaming buy at 1.12, 1.50, 2.00. Pretty darn good return if you added. A lot of folks on here did. As pissed as I am at the current pps, I'm very happy it has allowed me to accumulate the amount of shares I have. Its not as much as some on here, but I'm glad I've lowered my cost basis and now just waiting for the buyout.
Agreed BigT. There was never a doubt Titan was a buyout target, but now I believe it is going to be much sooner than I originally thought. The repricing, rebranding, focusing on just GYN, speeding up and making FDA process easier, and the hiring of the new COB all point to an earlier buyout. Our COB is 70 years old!!! You think he is coming on board for a nice, new, long career with Titan? His whole career and resume is with companies who have been bought out. I disagree with you slightly on one thing BigT, were bought out in 12-16 months.
What should Titan do when the Bigs are actively trying to poach Genova, Jensen, etc? They can't match the salary there dangling in front of them. The best incentive to keep them around are options. And when there strike's are in the 30's, 40's, 50's the pay off is minimal. even with a double or triple. There at there prime age for earnings in the business world. Just like Mc, they could be making double elsewhere. Unfortunately its a poker game and repricing is the least risky move. It sucks for us, but there is zero we can do about (except vote it down, but it won't happen). If these guys continue to meet milestones and ultimately produce a commercially viable product in 12 months ALL OF THIS is nonsense.
I still contend that I do NOT want to give these guys a free pass. They need to continue to deliver, and investors need to keep there feet to the fire. The PPS is terrible. No doubt about it. Let's see where we stand after the AGM, rebranding, etc.

Disaster? He's brought this company 6 months away from submitting a clinically significant robotic system to the FDA. Never been closer.
What's crazy to me is the worst case scenario is they get repriced at $3.40. Were sitting at $2.70 right now. 3.40 is the floor. Never will they sell below that. Absurd discount. Even if they wanted to cut ties and dump this whole thing right now they could get $10 bucks without even trying.

In all honesty, I have no clue how the rebranding is going to be taken. What is the consensus on here, positive or negative? I think the so called "shock" of it is already priced in, so maybe positive. Obviously we don't have details yet. I do think people are on the sidelines waiting, hence the anemic volume and zero response to recent news.
Dr. Wolff is still a senior adviser to Titan.
Rebranding is the elephant in the room now with Titan. It neutered DF news unfortunately. Maybe they should have waited to announce DF simultaneously along with Rebranding, AGM ,etc. Regardless, investors need clarity on something that big. They don't like surprises. After the smoke clears (end of May, early June) we should see what the market really thinks of Titan and where were currently at.
The fact that Mc has on numerous occasions mentioned Regulatory approval/subsequently selling units around mid 2020 speaks volumes. Unlike him for someone so cautious/conservative. He's obviously very confident, and anticipating NO software, system/unit delays. FDA is the ONLY wildcard at this point. But again, he obviously feels very confident in the approval process with the aforementioned comments.
A spike would have been nice, but we'll just have to wait until end of May for true reaction. In the end, it doesn't really matter when the end up selling for 2-3 billion min. post reg approval.
So it appears clear that people are waiting for the rebranding, repricing, AGM, etc, etc before jumping in. A clearer picture at that point will justify jumping in. DF is fantastic news, but was a given. However, rebranding, AGM, etc are not.
I have to give it to Mc though, he could have easily held off on DF and COB news until after the repricing (regardless of the tepid reaction). Maybe he's not the rat a few on here think he is after all.
Hmmm...genova, Jensen, brar, McNallys 100 years in the industry says otherwise.
I don't think we can say what the overall reaction to DF is after one day. As we frustratingly know, Titan doesn't have a ton of eyes on her. give them a few weeks, meetings, word of mouth, etc, etc and see where were at. I wish it wasn't this way, but it is what it is. Regardless, were in uncharted waters now with Titan. It's great to finally get to the next level with this never ending project. It is very obvious they are doing everything possible to fast track this thing to the market.
