I wouldn't say that is totally true..

Couldn't agree more. I buy "things" regularly and the prices are very good on the website. I'm very impressed. The app idea was a killer opportunity and that will definitely turn heads.
cc
I'm slapping that ask all day brother. Not very often do I trust a penny stock or it's company. Lol I'm not saying that I trust BABL but they do have a couple good products.
cc
Post the link on the board.??
Also, Q4 earnings to be out in a couple weeks..
cc
Link? I don't believe that's true at all
cc
Relax people. It's just money. Where did all this pump talk go? Now it's all negativity. Chill out, take a hit (puff puff), and buy low. It still hasn't filled the gap at .085.
cc
Haha that made me laugh out loud. So I see this website having true potential in the future. Imo, I think it would be undervalued at 1$..thoughts?
cc
I just spammed MJ publicly listed company FB websites with BABL ticker and news. Sure $BABL, I'll be your marketer.

Lol seriously people. Go ahead, hope for it to go under .10 but don't count on it. As stated before "steel floor". I have money put aside in case it does.
Trust me, I know the difference. Why make a subsidiary company that also looks at the uses for hemp? I thought the purpose of splitting this company off to its own sector was so they could focus on just hemp but the daughter company also wants to use hemp? Maybe I'm looking at this the wrong way but it just seems, odd.
"Marijuana, Inc. is a company with a vision. Part of that vision is foreseeing the potential worldwide benefits that may be derived from the myriad of uses for industrial hemp "

Here's a question that's been pounding against the innerds of my skull. Why choose to invest in HEMP vs MJNA? Long term..
cc
This is happening fast.
http://www.wbir.com/story/news/politics/2014/04/01/tn-hemp-bill/7188615/
cc
I disagree. Hemp is a small business with a huge opportunity to become a big business.
cc
;)
You're right..Why put trust in people? Trade on what you know. The ups and downs.
cc
Pita,
Appreciate your DD. I will retract my claim and agree MJNA does lay claims in hemp industry.
Does make for an interesting run with so few able to lay claims.
cc
Curious,
Please if there is another publicly traded stock out there for hemp, let me know. Claiming something isn't true and then saying "I doubt it" sounds contradictory.
I'm not stating you're wrong, but I've spent hours of research trying to find another publicly traded stock with no luck. Use your DD and prove my claim wrong. I aimed to invest in this industry because I expect a ROI. The more companies I can find, the better imo.
True more and more marijuana companies are becoming publicly traded, but not Hemp.
cc
Hemp Inc is the only publicly traded stock dealing with hemp. IMO, that's a start for it's legitimacy although it is a pnk sheet stock. It'll work it's way into the public eye.
cc
Hemp$,
Why did you state 40% shorted when in actuality it was only 25%?
cc
It's a good market strategy to buy a heavily shorted stock. Heavy shorting can cause the share price to drop...which it has. I say, short the crap out of it so I can buy more at a cheaper price. I don't let shorted stock dissuade me from purchasing it. There are other factors that I look at too.
cc
Well, not to bash but this is a pink sheet stock. They aren't required to list their financials. If they do, it'll somewhat test the legitimacy of this company. It's kind of a make or break piece of news with all of the "consulting deals" in place.
We shall see. IMO being the first hemp publicly traded stock, they'd be idiotic not to make this company something worthwhile. It literally speaks for the entire hemp movement.

Bill Passes in Nebraska

Well this is what I could find for HEMP water filters. Possible for sure.

I know Hemp is also being used in Chernobyl to help clean up the radiation.
"In 1998, Phytotech, along with Consolidated Growers and Processors (CGP) and the Ukraine's Institute of Bast Crops, planted industrial hemp, Cannabis sp., for the purpose of removing contaminants near the Chernobyl site. Cannabis is in the Cannabidaceae family and is valuable for its fiber, which is used in ropes and other products. This industrial variety of hemp, incidentally, has only trace amounts of THC, the chemical that produces the "high" in a plant of the same genus commonly known as marijuana.
Overall, phytoremediation has great potential for cleaning up toxic metals, pesticides, solvents, gasoline, and explosives. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) estimates that more than 30,000 sites in the United States alone require hazardous waste treatment. Restoring these areas and their soil, as well as disposing of the wastes, are costly projects, but the costs are expected to be reduced drastically if plants provide the phytoremediation results everyone is hoping for."
Irrelevant to Hemp Inc. but an interesting read.

HEMP Money,
I agree with you in that you don't need bills passed in order to make a product line to bring in revenue but that would mean they would need a consistent supply of HEMP. The United States spends an average of $11.5 million in Hemp imports as of 2011. That is over double the amount of money spent from 2007 ($4.8 million). Basically, from a business perspective, that is an insignificant amount of money, but the increase is SIGNIFICANT in a 4 year period.
Mind you, that is only statistics from Hemp fibre and seed which only accounts for a small percentage of Hemp usage in manufacturing.
So the product line will help the company but the ability to cultivate and manufacture hemp will reduce cost and increase revenue. It's all about the quarterly reports with penny stocks. Also, being the only company "HEMP BASED" would give HEMP Inc a major advantage when the industry is "free from law".
That is my thinking in the whole idea of ROI with the bills passing. Again, all we need is one state with "loose regulation" to have this industry explode. This will pose a challenge with other industries only concerned about self-interest (i.e. baby boomer gas and oil businessmen). Sooner than later imo, it will happen and I want to be along for the ride with as many shares as possible for the cheapest price.

Anybody ever think to look at other stock exchanges with other industrial hemp companies? Post info on what you find
All I could find was the GLOBAL HEMP GROUP on the canadian exchange. It hangs around .15.
cc
I dont invest in this company only to expect a ROI but also in support of a movement.
So everybody believes that Bruce is a scammer..
Scammer, shyster, and outlaw.
I can tell you this..If I were in a federal prison for 9 years, I would make sure I would do everything in my power to keep whatever company I lead legal.
I wouldn't go back into the marijuana industry unless I was trying to make a difference.
I don't like to base investments on chance but sometimes you have to do that when you are an aggressive investor. So do some background checking on the company. Ever look into the other 31 publicly traded stocks? Look into their websites..I know how much it cost being involved with web design for my business. They spent some cash to make HEMP Inc website easily navigable and user friendly. Also, they have a clear business plan WITH an EXIT strategy.
HEMP isn't like most publicly traded stocks in the sense of people making a quick profit. It is a LONG TERM investment.
What I like about HEMP
1. I support the movement in the cultivation and manufacturing of hemp for everyday products
2. It's the only publicly traded stock focused on informing the public about hemp and it's variety of uses
3. THE CEO is charitable
4. The man has something to prove
5. Not only does the PR directly affect the stock but so does news with the legalization of marijuana. One state decides to legalize, the share price jumps.
6. ALL WE NEED IS ONE STATE TO LEGALIZE THE CULTIVATION AND MANUFACTURING OF HEMP FOR THIS INDUSTRY TO SKYROCKET.

Intel? It'd be interesting to see if I have the same intel. I've often thought I should distrust this person because most businessmen are deceitful from the blindness caused by the dollar bill. Damn company promoters.
I heard the same. Clear the smokescreen and you'll find fire. I'm ready to see the little minnow transform into an orca.
