Would love to find a post on here from 2014/2015 of us discussing the Hershey factory one day being a visitor center and the main attraction . Funny how much stuff over the years from this board has came to fruition. Cheers!
Knew it was coming! Looking forward to canopy hiring barista's for smith falls visitor center. I'll be there before the end of 2019!
Nice, Do you have source for that? TIA!
Oh yah, its coming. 4 Tweed main street locations in Ontario as of now (I think) plus Smith Falls factory....those are easy to convert, minimal cost not to mention whatever else they want to add....
Got it, one more year to get your $h!t together! See you then
Lol and they have 55 KG's in Inventory came 15,000. Yeah, emerald is killing it.
Pretty quiet here...good interview
Lol and she's still complaining about being "stripped naked by government gunman." Hmmm Jodie, the writing was on the wall. If you had you read it and made a move to legal weed in 2014, 2015 or I don't know, 2016 - maybe, just maybe, you could have had a successful transition.
Definitely excited to see how that plays out. With canopy hiring barista's for their smith falls visitor center - I've got a hunch that they have a hunch, hahah
Oh nice! Yeah, I've been here as jdubballa but figured it would consolidate alias's into one haha
Thanks! And yeah I'm confident that for the next 6-12 months this may be a useful tool to track supply - but much like our order number tracking there will come a day with much bigger horizons.
Hey guys something I wanted to start tracking not just for Canopy but for the larger publicly traded LP's - and for all of Canada is the inventory levels. An article put out by Lift today is projecting a shortage initially. This may be good for keeping the price per gram high out of the gates, but bad in overtaking the black market, bad for customers and very bad for the public perception....especially if medical customers are dealt the short end of the stick by anyone.
Deloitte & Health Canada are forecasting 600,000 - 800,000 KG's annually - so about 150-200KG the first quarter. Government run and private retail will need to begin receiving shipments this quarter (July - Sep) to be prepared for October 17. By my calculations, about 1/4 of the total MOU's & LP-to-LP wholesale agreements account for roughly 70 KG for the first 3 months. So this doesn't factor in private retail or Ontario yet.
Anyways, I created this spreadsheet below as I really want to monitor inventory levels especially at the end of June because I think this will be very telling as to where we are at, and which companies will deliver above/below their expectations initially. As you have heard Bruce say - anybody can put out a press release *cough* Emerald *Cough* and be judged off of their "capacity" - but at the end of the day you have to deliver & execute....and at the end of March Canopy's inventory was roughly 40% of the overall dried + oil inventory for all 100+ LP's. As happy as I am as a shareholder since day one, it is pretty pathetic from some of the competition IMO - and must improve dramatically during the next Q results.
Three more things One- I'm not tracking biological assets at this time. Secondly, I am also trying to track the distribution & supply chain on here eventually, so that is why Auxily, Choom, Hiku & Nine are on here as they all have a big retail and distribution footrpints.
Lastly, I know for a fact that not all of the data is accurate and it can likely be rearranged for ease of use. I did my best trying to track all of these LP's inventory levels from the recent financials real quick, but not all of them were reported or I just missed them. Please feel free to let me know of anything that needs to be updated/corrected if you would like. I'm likely missing many LP-to-LP agreements as well. The goal is to be accurate and I consider this a rough draft haha. Any feedback is welcome, I cant respond to DM however. Thanks

The slick black line is going to be the bounce ?
May be worth bottom fishing the October calls
According to yahoo finance it's 2.77 billion USD which is equal to 3.64 billion CAD. Puts them as the #3 LP by market cap in front of Aphria.
Keep in mind this was an IPO so there no short shares are available until Monday I believe...
Not to mention, need to be aware of the low volume of Hiku on the US side it may not be an easy swap even if the percentages do present themselves
Almost no arbitrage available with selling canopy buying Hiku right now. Very minimal....hoping to see a nice 5% gap at some point soon to swap out in the non-tax account
It certainly feels like it is trending in that direction....

Yeah it was rough man - but just a month back we were consolidating 20-25 US and all I wanted was to shift that to 25-30 heading into fall....we will see what the rest of the week brings but we know executing is the name of the game and nobody has proven to be better at it than Bruce & team.
Good idea looking at options/calls though - you have missed out on a lot of gains and that may be one way for you to play catch up here. Best of luck
They are not going to sell vapes or any other products? Just flower by the gram? Damn, what a poor business model
Curious about the $30 mil medical...they are doing about $25 mil per Q right now?
Notice DOJA (Hiku) also on the list https://www.bcldbcannabisupdates.com/news/11-07-2018-new-agreements-will-ensure-quality-cannabis-first-store-location-secured
I wonder what our joint venture "Agripharm" (greenhouse holdings/ strainhunters, organa brands and canopy) is up too as rec approaches...
