I don't plan on selling at .05. Too much potential here.
I don't know if it's true or not, but that's what I have heard as well.
I see it as well.
That could be. I wonder if the fact the trucks are coming from a Chinese manufacturer might have been a reason as well?
I don't think it's a matter of credit rating. I think it's a matter of a company this size asking for a 12 million dollar loan. But throw in backing from Ecobank and now, instead of finding someone willing to loan you the money, you are in the position of deciding who gets to loan you the money.
IMHO
Still here. Waiting. Definitely not a stock for the impatient.
Nice to see this moving back up where it belongs.
AMMX
Nice steady move up. Good to see that again.
Just my opinion, but I think that's why Mr Hamre said the other deals they are working on hinge on this truck deal. Once they have a base of operations established there, it will make it a lot easier to execute other contracts in the region.
That was my understanding as well. And that the company that's providing the trucks was going to give them $3 million dollars worth of parts on consignment and they would also be using it as a base of operations for sale and rental of equipment in the region.
I hope they can get to the bottom of it. We will keep the family in our prayers.
Good morning Born. I am sorry to hear about your brother in law.
Last of the money in my account. I think it will be well worth it in a couple weeks
I would agree with that assessment. Even if the deal would fall through for some reason, the odds are good this stock would go over .02 again in time.
IMHO
I meant the first part "I guess there are people wishing they listened to Mik. He wasn't that far off the mark.". While I agree they have attempted and failed on some large deals in the past, I don't believe that each of these deals was an elaborate hoax perpetrated on investors for the purpose of selling shares. I would imagine it is very difficult for a small business like this to pull off a large contract like the ones they have been going after. Especially when dealing outside the US. And if you look at past deals, none have progressed as far as this one. Is that any guarantee? Definitely not. It is still a gamble. I mention the core business simply to make the point that, unlike most penny stocks, this company is self sufficient. They are able to sustain themselves and be profitable with current business. I don't like to leave money in any penny stock too long. They are too volatile. But I have been fairly comfortable doing that here because of the successful core business.
As for the volume, this has never been a high volume stock. This was a bad choice if you were looking for that.
As for management, I think they realize they are trapped at this point. Core business doesn't move the PPS since everyone is focused on the big deal. And if they try to put a date on something they have no control over and it doesn't happen, the PPS suffers even more.
All IMHO of course.
No, not really. The core business is profitable, the $200 million deal is still on the table so far. Even if the deal does fall through, I still don't believe it was an elaborate, make believe scam. The PPS is reflecting the delays and doubt. I'm still content to wait and see how this plays out.
More good news. Thanks for sharing Born.
Hi Born,
I saw this message posted by one of the ihub admin -
We've received word that a fiber cable cut has taken down ADVFN's Comstock feed. No ETA on when service will be restored.
(The last time it happened it took around 24 hours. However, we have no idea where the cut is or how long this repair will take.)
UPDATE #1: It appears not to be a fiber break, but an EU router in Level3's network. We're cautiously optimistic for a much quicker resolution.
That would be a tough one to put on your resume if you got fired.
No need to apologize Born. You have done more to keep this board going than any other person. My condolences on your friends passing. Get some rest and get your strength back.
I'm still here. Not sure what's going on. Nothing in the news or any announcements. Strange.
Just a bit further north....Illinois
SPORTYNORTY, no PM, but thanks and to you as well.
A lot of chatter. Nice
Haven't been here in a while so I'm going to throw in too.
Why is the stock where it is today? Same answer for any stock, perceived risk. I believe Moras said he bought at the .03 level. My initial purchase was sub penny, but I averaged up for the same reason. I purchased more of this stock at the .02 and .03 levels when it appeared the deal was almost a sure thing. When the delays started, people felt there was more risk and were no longer willing to buy at those levels.
The other reason is the restricted shares released into the float. The added shares to the float are not really that bad, but we just don't have the volume to absorb them. Combined the delays with the extra shares and that's where we are.
Why does Mr Hamre have to travel there? I have had to sign papers that required me to be present and sign in front of a witness. A fax or copy of my signature was not considered sufficient. Could it be that his presence is required due to one or more of the parties involved requesting it as part of the terms of the agreement? Maybe a possibility for a 200+ million dollar deal?
Stock promotion seems to be a subject of discussion. I understand why some people feel the way they do about these, but I personally hope they promote this stock to the hilt through all avenues if they manage to close on this contract.
And finally, it looks like some prognostication on what will happen to the PPS if they do manage to close on the Niger deal. And to that I say, there is absolutely no way to know what effect it will have. It could do little or spike huge. I have watched long enough to see both and everything in between.
As always, simply my humble opinions
No worries. It can take me hours to reply to someone. Sometimes I never get a chance. Working 40-60 hours a week and 2 young children keep me pretty busy.
I use Scottrade as well. Mine seems to be ok.
Hi Born,
Still here. Just not much time or much to talk about. Current PPS is hard to look at, but there isn't much we can do but wait it out. Hopefully we get some good news this month.
Nice work. Thanks for sharing your research with us.
Hi Born,
Slow day. I don't really expect any excitement for a while. Enjoyed the jokes guys.
I did happened to catch that exchange of 10 shares at .0121 toward the end. That was strange. Getting a fill of 12 cents worth of shares would definitely be aggravating.
Hi PC,
I wanted to comment on that, but haven't had much time since I went back to work. I have held this stock a little over 1.5 years now. From what I have observed, they have made attempts to promote the stock. Unfortunately they chose to promote all those big contracts they were working on. Guess what happened when they were unable to close on them?
Did they screw up on that part, yeh. They really should have been promoting the core business and the growth there instead of these large contracts they had no real control of. But, in fairness, it's always easy to criticize in hindsight once you know the results.
That's where we are today. Most don't care about the core business. No matter how well they do, most everyone is focused on the big contract. And, of course, now we have investors that feel they are either incapable of closing on one or the few who believe this is just another penny stock scam.
Just my opinion, but good or bad, I think they have chosen not to promote it in a big way until they can prove to everyone that they can close on a big contract. That being the case, I believe we won't see any real effort until they have the first check in hand.
Hi Born,
It's not bad news, but it is bad in the sense that people wanting to buy the stock know they have until Feb. 12th to jump on or add more. And they are going to use that time to bring the PPS down as low as they can get it. Without a big catalyst between now and then, all we can do is wait and watch.
Sorry Born,
Scutum corrected me on that. It's the 19th this year.
LOL, sorry about that. I glanced at an old calendar
Hi Born,
MLK is the 21st.
Nice find. Thanks for sharing that.
Hey, the board is lively today.
Yeh, I know. The PPS is hard to look at right now. But we knew restricted shares entered the float and they are going to do whatever they have to in order to generate volume. I don't believe the shares are coming from insiders. Good buying opportunities for those that still can and want to.
Just imagine what will happen once the deal is executed and announced
Hi Mik,
I could be wrong, but I'm guessing you would still feel the same about the company if they were listed at the next level.
Sorry, I missed the sarcasm (obviously)
I believe they moved to Palm Desert if I remember correctly. As far as the business license, I don't know enough about it to say one way or the other. But from my perspective it means she is either representing the company as a board member whose job it is to provide IR/PR functions or she is representing the company through her own company which means her job is to provide IR/PR functions. I don't think the function and the pay really change much either way
Having 20 million shares would definitely have an effect on your opinion of the company. I guess you could see it as motive to be dishonest or one could view it as motivation to see the company succeed.
Thanks for the exchange Mik and sorry to any that were annoyed. It was just getting too quiet around here.
Cheers
Hi Mik,
Thanks,
Fair enough. I didn't really believe we would change each others minds with these exchanges anyway. Just stirring things up a bit.
You did mention uplisting as a sign they were more credible. Would you believe the contracts were real if they were listed on the OTCQB?
The solar plant and military deal, I think we already covered. With the solar plant, the cost per Kilowatt wasn't acceptable. Unless they are able to change that, there won't be any news there most likely. The military contract, just something they are negotiating for, doesn't mean they will get it. Unless they get beyond that stage, what more can you say?
AMMX creating a financial division? That would be sweet
But no, I don't believe that. The stores that issue credit cards make deals with banks to provide the credit. I know of car dealerships here that have special arrangements with banks in that they drive business to the bank in exchange for the bank giving their customers better terms for financing. But I don't know that there is even that kind of arrangement with AMMX. I was merely trying to make the point of how financing your product has become almost as important as the product itself these days.
Marty's business license? I vaguely recall that being discussed here. It seems like her business moved? Maybe someone with a better memory can weigh in on that one if they want or I may look into it further when I have more time. As far as running the campaign for free, I believe she was issued restricted shares as payment. Might be in her best interest to market the company well.
All IMHO as always.
Hi Mik,
Just because I enjoy a little debate sometimes and there isn't a lot of activity on the board at the moment......
"They chose not to allocate funds for the SEC audit." I don't know, would everyone be happier if they spent money to do the audit and maintain the higher listing and then sold shares to expand the business? If they were listed on the OTCQB, which is the only place they can go at this PPS, would you really trust them anymore than you do now?
"What happened to the negotiations on the hotels". Well, the last part of that kind of says what most likely happened doesn't it? "Shareholders and investors are cautioned that the negations can be lengthy and there are no guarantees that AmeraMex will be awarded the contracts."
As far as financing, I wouldn't dismiss that as a small thing. GM, Ford, and Chrysler all started their own financing branches. I know Caterpillar did as well. How many stores out there have their own credit cards now? Somewhere down the line, companies that sell product discovered that if they could find ways to provide financing to customers, people were a lot more willing to buy the product.
Will the deal fall through or be "pulled"? Could happen. I'm willing to gamble it won't though.
If it does, will there be another next big contract? Probably, but what's the alternative? Give up and never attempt to land a big contract ever again? But at that point, each person will have to decide if they want to stick it out or move on. I may or may not at that point. I will decide then.
I'm fine with all opinions and this one is just mine. Take it for whatever it's worth.
Good luck as always.
Got it. Very cool
I work in manufacturing as well. Sounds like our situations were similar.
