It's a SCAM!!!
This scam,by Seth and others goes on for one purpose. To keep enough liquidity to continue to periodically raise capital to be slowly consumed by their salaries. That's it...
The 'contemplated" Areva, joint venture is more flim flam...
LTBR is "BUYING" R&D services from Areva for $3.3 million dollars and giving away 50% of any future royalty on the patent, or new technology that comes from work on that patent.
Imagine being Areva, and these clowns show up on your doorstep and say, we propose a "partnership" where we pay you $3.3 million and give you half our patent in exchange for you doing the work we are paying you to do, the only catch is we need to frame this in a way that will allow us to call it "partnership". Areva, says nope... To much liability associated with you guys as clowns to be your partners. But we could call it a joint venture... That way Areva, is a investor, not a partner. You pay is $3.3 million for the work and our input to the JV is doing the work. HAhaha Brilliant!!!
Seth, you are an evil genuis... And the poor sap "investors" you've strung along for years just keep waiting.... Forever.
Your post is correct that there will certainly be abusers looking for a high, but it also overlooks 2 critical points.
1. New patients in need. Do you propose starting them on the drugs that are easier to abuse?
2. The moral, ethical and liability issues of being a doctor prescribing. Do you simply keep the problem going or move patients off the other drugs.
Nobody said this would all be painless.
Vitaros will get denied by the FDA and this nonsense will all be over.
I give Seth a lot of credit. I would have never dreamed he could keep this scam running so long.
Years and years and years of promises of deals, and testing, and fabricating magic fuel only to deliver nothing but continued dilution and more empty promises.
Investors should stop and think... If there were a magic solution for a fuel rod that delivered 30% more energy at a reduced cost with better safety profile, don't you think big investors or the utilities would be fighting each other for a piece of it?
There is nothing stopping any investor from slowly buying up float until they must declare ownership by Nasdaq rules.
But that does not happen,,, why? BECAUSE ITS A SCAM!
They've never fabricated and irradiated squat and they NEVER will.
Pascoe, how's your golf game? The club members you thought was laughing at you? We were...
Building shareholder value? OMG, you are hilarious!!!
Once you've milked out every last cent from the Long term followers you should consider stand up comedy.
I can hardly believe what I'm seeing?
Another capital raise after just selling the global rights to Viataros? Pascoe must hate his investors with a passion.
When he joined APRI the company had $24 million in cash no debt and the same pipeline and a PPS of $30.00 adjusted by the 1 for 10 reverse split.
Pascoe is a criminal.
Hear me out on this Apricots.
All is not lost if you can rise up and boot out Pascoe.
Here's a plan of action.
1. APRI should be down to 3 to 5 employees as of Monday. Outside of somebody to do the SEC filings and get Vitaros back in front of the FDA there is no justification for anyone else.
2. Now that there will be a small cash pile, APRI should abandon, being a biotech company with the exception of trying to get Vitaros approved and then sold.
3. Apricus should become a tiny holding company to preserve the cash and assets and continue to offer for sale anything left in the basement in the way of patents, studies, DDAIP, Rayva or Femprox.
4. The capital whatever is left should be invested in something to grow.
Or
The other plan, Pascoe screws around for another 18 months and drans out whatever is left and you get zero.
I for one want to thank Casino for insightful and deep thinking of APRI. You are a credit to what open dialog should be.
Wow,,, Show some Love.
Pascoe continues his masterful transfer of wealth from shareholders to his salary.
He just bought himself another million dollar year in an industry where he could not get hired anywhere else to sweep floors.
They should sell the US rights to Ferring for another 15 million and disperse the money to shareholders and call it a day.
I just spoke to the guy who answers the phone at the San Diego home office.
According to him, there is no worry about remaining listed. Management and employees will continue to be paid so there is zero concern.
Rich, must be a happy camper.
Happy Holidays All,
CK
I called Apricus and spoke to the guy who answered the phone. I'm actually feeling more positive now.
He told me Pascoe was going to "Make Apricus Great Again", and even offered me a hat with that printed on it.
He said there were actually other products in the pipeline too.
Maybe you'd like a degree from Aprics University, or dinner with Apricus Steak, or Apricus Water, or a great stay at any number of Huge and classy Apricus hotels. Disclaimer, not all the hotels will be owned by the shareholders, they will simply be license deals because our name will be so strong.
Also, Pascoe is planning on removing all the door nobs in home office and replacing them with new ones in the shape of cat heads... Think about it..
Yep, if we have learned anything in the last year, it's that it;s not the facts that matter but how you exclude minorities and convince a closed minded group of their own alternate reality by telling them how successful you are without providing your taxes.
So if we all just talk about what a success Pascoe is,,, Well then maybe it will just magically become true. PS, Global warming is a Chinese hoax designed to put American coal workers out of work.
If Pascoe had one ounce of decency he would reduce his pay to $1.00 and work the next year to try to save you shareholders in exchange for his stock.
But he could care less about whether or not you ever see a dime or if Vitaros ever sees the light of day, so long as his check keeps coming. He knows he will never get another leadership role so he's milking this baby till it's got nothing left to give.
The entire process of drug patent protection which is the driver of cost containment and expansion of drug prices needs to be reviewed and changed.
The idea, that a drug can be acquired at any price because you can mark it up to infinity is absurd.
And there are too many recent examples of abuse in this vein. Martin shkreli, EpiPen, and Valeant come immediately to mind.
Investors who risk their capital should get the upside reward for that risk, but the system has been abused hurting almost everyone including the perpetrators of the scams as even in an environment of pure monopoly you can hit a wall where people will simply not get treatment because they can not pay for the drugs.
Don't blame Hillary for that.
Hillary will win, then get indicted shortly after being sworn in, resign, leaving the country happy with a nice guy like Tim Kaine.
On your question, I'm just lucky sometimes.
Next? I'm not sure it stays above a buck even after the reverse split.
Best
CK
Eicoman,
The entire thing is so sad... Yes, and my advice to all is not to buy a single share of this. If you hold it? I would not sell it... In for a penny in for a pound as it were.
Pascoe still earning big pay? Yep, and in my opinion that's the scam.
Hi, I'm new to this board and I have a question.
DDAIP comes of patent very soon and anyone can use Alprostadil, so how is Vitaros and specifically Apricus protected? Seems like "if" Vitaros actually caught on anywhere in the world in short order any pharma could under cut it almost immediately.
Waiting for news... Almost anything positive sends this to the teens.
This thing price targetsshould start to move soon. Lot's of coverage with price targets at $15 and up.
Either there is going to be a lot of egg on some faces or this thing gets going following the summer slumber.
Feels like some late summer buying pre-fall run up. Moved it off the lows back to $6... Teens soon.
Germany is a complete failure and it's Pascoe's fault.
While we don't know the details of what caused the "out of specification batch" to be produced and shipped to Germany, because management is not disclosing the problem to it's shareholders, but we do know that Pascoe and the management team is 100% responsible for overseeing the contract manufacturer's production of the only product the company has.
And just FYI, I think the failure to disclose the details of the issue could serve as the basis of an SEC action if not a class action. The problem with suing APRI, is there is no value to collect.
Lastly, and this is the most important point... If you believe management or the opinions of some posters that the FDA is going to approve Vitaros without additional testing after seeing potentially dangerous batches pulled from the shelves in Europe's largest country you are being very very very optimistic...
The management team and IR can't be trusted outside the 10Q. They have been clear in the 10Q they may never get Germany back and running and other markets could follow.
If they would at least be honest and share the details of what constituted the "bad batch" investors could make informed decisions but the fact they are hiding the reason from investors should give anyone reason to run!!!
$.44 is better than zero
Something is fishy... Why did management never detail what exactly was wrong with the Vitaros batch in Germany?
I think this may be a bigger problem than they want investors to know.
That would cause the FDA to certainly want more testing.
THe facts are the slimy tactics of a management team holding a delisting notice will not give the actual number of units sold.
You should stop lying, or post the unit numbers sold from the latest 10Q.
This thing is going loweeeeeerrrrr
Pascoe and the rest of management are flying on a wing and a prayer.
The fact is the FDA rejected Vitaros on safety concerns over the cancer risk. They won't give a hoot what Canada of the EU have done.
Pascoe is selling the "idea" that they can repackage data and point to a different manufacturer and the FDA will say ok, cool? That's far fetched... Impossible? no, but IMO highly unlikely...
Especially considering the FDA can see no real world results in Canada and the largest market in Europe refusing to sell any more of it due to bad batches.
You can "Lov" APRI, but my hunch is the FDA won't share that feeling, and without the approval, no cash is coming to save it.
I'm now watching APRI to get back in... I think anything under $.22 would be worth a few thousand bucks. But you will need to sell it off before any FDA decision on Vitaros US, as I think it's likely the FDA will ask for additional testing which would doom the company to bk.
Hentied,
You are spot on. That's a terrific post and the others upset by it are out of line.
They are out of money and have few options. Vitaros sales have been terrible in Europe with big partners not refilling shelves in major markets and even partner turnover.
Management has attempted to hide the disaster by not providing unit sales numbers when they had in the past.
For the life of me I can't understand the need for more than 10 to 12 employees total and a board of no more than 4 who are paid 100% in stock at this point. If the board members who led the company here quit over that? Fine... Don't need them anyway.
The last call, which was just an attempted hype job on Vitaros was a waste of time and money.
This entire thing is a mess. I'm not sure it will not break $.30
Once it's low enough how hilarious would it be for Demaj to show back up with an unsolicited buyout offer? HAhahaha It could happen.
I 100% agree with you...
This company is in real trouble, when they take one call from a real investor and the only thing on the investor's mind is how do you not get delisted, and where is the money going to come from to get you to your goals and what's Pascoe's reply?
An attempt to brush the guy aside and ignore him.
Seriously, does anyone understand what Brian Dorsey's role in the company is?
The company is not really developing anything at this point... It's a fact he was a close friend of Pascoe prior to Pascoe being hired as CEO... I'm afraid this is just more good ol boy handouts.
Massive inside buy... http://www.conferencecalltranscripts.org/4/summary/?id=2713935
Big waste of time and money. They pay some Tennesee doctor to talk about ED? That's a joke. And money they could use for some other purpose.
Nobody cares about their spin.
Either the FDA accepts the resubmission or not and from there the FDA either wants new studies or not.
This is an attempt to find new investors which they do not deserve when they are awarding themselves ever lower and lower options and collecting huge salaries for failure.
A market cap company of $29 million paying the CEO a million a year in salary, stock and cash bonuses is an absolute scam.
What's up Casino? I've been watching for entertainment value only. Dumped my shares at $.69 and rode VVUS from $1.34 to $1.80 and now playing RXDX after their secondary. Just finished my fill on it this AM.
As for APRI, the free shares at these levels to "retain" the team that took the company to a $30 million market cap tells you all you need to know.
Pure GARBAGE!!! The BODs made some token buys of stock. Who are they trying to kid?
If you think putting in $2500 bucks after running the company into the ground builds confidence you hot another thing coming. Give the money to charity instead, or better yet claw back some of the cash bonuses you handed out to Pascoe the past 3 years,,,,
Total worthless bunch of moves by a worthless board.
VVUS is working with "consultants" on it's pathway forward. I think it's very likely VVUS is in the process of being sold. They have cut their expenses and have a positive cash position against their debt structure and have 2 FDA approved drugs. They are IMO opinion, undervalued and I'm on it.
I don't believe the BODs of VVUS could be led into any deal with APRI and Pascoe.
It is what it is.
There is no plan. Denner did not know the results in advance and obviously speculated with reduced risk by getting warrants at $.88 thanks to Pascoe. He bet, he lost. It's that simple.
The reason Denner is stuck is the size of his bet. Volume will soon fall off to only a few tens of thousands per day or less. There is no way to unwind a 10+ million position without crushing the PPS further.
My bet is he fires Pascoe and reorganizes the company to just a shell, and tries to sell it before resubmitting Vitaros to the FDA.
I think he'd take $.88 PPS and run.
Soon is my guess. Pascoe must be dodging Denner's call.
I suspect it breaks $1.00 in the next 60 days.
You should sell all your holdings... LOL!!
