Huge day today in court, and i feel one bit of evidence has won it for Craig.
We knew already that a number of docs that pointed to a partnership were forged.
We know whoever forged them messed up the meta data
1) IP was linked to Jimmy Wilson, not Craig.
2) Dave sent Emails after he died
Today a 3rd mistake was revealed..
The Domain they were sent from ( Craig to Dave asking for help on Bitcoin ) was from Craigs RCJDO. This unknown to Jimmy referred to Ramona ( Craigs second Wife which he met later ) Craig himself, and his 3 children, some of which may not have been born yet. So unless you feel Craig forgot when he met his wife and when the kids were born, and the fact the domain did not exist then. He could not have sent the Email. He certainly could not have sent it when Dave was alive.
Loads of Sotashi evidence including minutes of a meeting where the precursor to Bitcoin ( Ecash ) was discussed with the accountancy firm BDO. I think this was around 2006.
Away from the case Gavin Wilson is now stating that Craig has bought some early Bitcoin addresses, so if coins move, its more evidence he is NOT Satoshi. Hmmm this from the Keys=Identity crowd.
Summing up is Tomorrow, 90 mins each side… could be done if Jury deliver verdict.. if not, they will return Monday.
Fingers Crossed….
Run for the hills
As of September 30, 2021, the Company had an accumulated deficit of $220,268,262 and a working capital deficit of $30,621,414 (including derivative liabilities of $26,515,186). These factors, among others, raise substantial doubt about the ability of the Company to continue as a going concern for one year from the date of the issuance of these financial statements.
A much lighter day in court, first five or so witnesses put through. The standout was Craigs Uncle, an absolute gent.. talked about the past, including how Craigs grandfather worked with Turin on the Enigma code ( what a family ). Turin is my personal hero. As a UK citizen, i consider him the greatest Brit that ever lived.
Loads of Satoshi evidence, people who knew the early days, saw early drafts etc…
Here is my contention, and its not on the trial. Calvin put out a tweet that this would be better handled by the COPA case as the lawyers were blocking the Satoshi story coming out. I don’t normally disagree with Calvin, and i think I understand his concern.
Yesterday at the very end of the day the lawyers for the plaintiffs objected to just about every sentence the witness said. To the point i think he didn’t know why he was there if he could not answer questions. I think Calvin saw that as the MO going forward…. It wasn't. i think it was a point in law, some issue that was simply not allowed. Many objections today, but not on that scale.
Today Craig was depicted as human, family , friends, a life. Not just a polymath.
A good day for him.
The Plaintiffs finally rest, and today was more or less a continuation of yesterday trying to prove Emails are forgeries and by implication it was Craig that forged them. However they seem to have made two massive errors that I am sure the defence will pickup on.
1) The forged documents / Emails are the same ones they are relying on to prove Dave and Craig had a partnership and discussed Bitcoin / Tulip Trust etc. so if the are all forged ( FAKE ) they literally have no case. They could possibly try to prove Craig a forger which may be used in future cases, but they blew a huge hole in this one.
2) some of the forged Emails had an IP address attached. Traced to Western Australia. Although Craig lived in Australia at the time, he was over 1000km from where this IP was registered. If fact the ONLY person linked to this case that lives near the IP registration is Jimmy Wilson ( who testified for Iras side early on ). Jimmy was a CFO for Craigs companies for about a year before Craig forced him to resign. Its looking like he teamed up with Ira and maybe these Emails were created as a way to bolster the case. However the forging was sloppy. Ip addresses plus meta data showing Dave signed after he died. Craig would have done a much better job of it.
If this can be proved, especially if they can get Ira back on the stand and break him, he could be in a lit of trouble.
Thinking logically. How would Craig have Daves PGP keys anyway. Ira could certainly have them. We know he had access to Daves Email account as he sent himself Birthday messages from his dead brother.
Still looking like it will be done by ThanksGiving…
That would be nice…

Thank you!
Craig has now completed his testimony, they are now questioning their own guy on alleged Emails signed with Daves PGP keys ( After he died ) so certain forgeries… my first comment is that today was a solid win for Iras side. Probably their first. The plaintiffs should be way ahead now before the defence puts its case. I feel they are indeed ahead after today, but not where they should be.
Apart from Craig getting pulled up by the Judge for use of bad language, not much to add. Loads of accusations, but nothing that really stuck.
The Email / PGP signing is beyond doubt the biggest piece of evidence the plaintiffs have. They cant prove Craig forged them, but they look terrible on the surface. Essentially Dave saying to Craig, you have all the Bitcoin, I don't need / want it.
The other alleged forgeries related to the ATO I would say didn't stick, as he won that case, and the investigators were fired on corruption charges. They were also quite capable of making forgeries. It was also in their interest to do so.
The ones between Dave / Craig are something else entirely. First It would be hard to argue that the Emails were not forged. When the Defence comes in I expect them to argue it was Ira that did it ( for a start how would Craig have Daves PGP Keys ? ). Iras motive by doing that would be to imply there was some Bitcoin, plus that Dave had some ownership… Very messy as I doubt it can be proved either way.
Anyway Plaintiffs should be complete tomorrow, and the defence starts.
This is where it gets interesting.
Wow

Excellent article explaining who is funding the Ira / Craig case.

As mentioned before, Bitfinex is the interesting one for me, as they are behind the short suppressing the BSV price. With any luck, when the coins move, even they will be forced to cover.
Last time the price went up, we were a little over $400, at that level they just shorted more to bring it back down. I feel we would need at least $1000 before they started to panic…

I enjoy reading the opposite side and comparing to what i think i know. I read articles from Coindesk frequently, looking mainly for big stories Coingeek are not following.
We know the Bitcoin ETF was rejected.
We know it was because the SEC fear the BTC marketplace is been manipulated
We know they called out Tether
We know they are investigating Tether
Read this.. is this a complete thoughtful article…. ?
https://www.coindesk.com/business/2021/11/12/sec-rejects-van-ecks-spot-bitcoin-etf-proposal/
Q3 Fins out.. v good, higher that prediction. Should get a proper PR Monday
Bitcoin ETF has been Rejected by the SEC. The reason , market manipulation from Tether…
In other words, the only reason BTC is trading as it is, is that Tether is propping it up… its a complete PONZI
https://twitter.com/CryptoWhale/status/1459228756560818177/photo/1
SEC investigation into Tether officially due to start soon. They even referred to it as a ‘purported Stable Coin’
When the rug is pulled on Tether, BTC will collapse.
Agree neither of us has a crystal ball, but we at least do have a lens on history
What was done before will be done once again. The wheel turns, it doesn't magically change…
The company burns huge sums each quarter, the profit margins are tiny.
On one point I agree, the basic maths makes little difference between AS / RS, the issue is one of practability. I take for granted that after the RS, within 2 years they will be looking to do yet another.. if they up the AS the structure soon becomes unworkable.
This wont end until the legal systems fix it.
The point is this..
He has done this once, and totally screwed the investors.
He did it a second time, and totally screwed the investors
He is about to do it a third time, which will screw the investors again
A 4th / 5th / 6th also on the cards before the SEC stops this type of behaviour…
It should be criminal… I accept it isn't.
As for raising the AS, I doubt it for this reason.. The RS should be around the 1:10000 mark ( it what he did last time )
To do the same using the AS the new number would be 50,000,000,000,000.
The SP would soon be Trip zeros, and hard to trade.
Without the last two RS invoked by SR ( combined = 1 : 1 million )
Yes for every share his printing machine has printed 1 million more
SP today would be $30,480
OS a tiny 4,133 shares
Makes you think…..
Tether acting really wierd, 5 billion sold / bought / sold / bought and then sold again… Are they simply printing to cover someone bailing ?.
Old 2010 coins also moved.. BTC and BCH… BSV untouched… ( Is this Craig ? )
Market going nuts
QQ… considering they are a reseller, and dont really make anything… how much is the R&D.. this is often the main method for crooked CEOs to filter cash out of the company.
For what they do, it should be zero.
( I honestly haven’t looked )
And now Tether selling off like crazy… someone bailed ?
Could be a rough few days for Tether / BTC
On the trial, only half a day, as a juror had a bit of a fevor, Long weekend, so it all starts up again next Monday.
Plaintiffs obviously trying to get Craig to say something, but he is very good at keeping the conversation to his terms. So no major mistakes. It is however extremely complex stuff, so I doubt any of the Jury are really following the detail, and for the most part will be board stiff.
Next week at some point the Plaintiffs will be done and the defence will start to make its case. I think thats when the real entertainment starts.
Tether Printing going trough the roof.

This Is backing up BTC in a Ponzi spiral. Hopefully CW will get most of his funds out before Tether/BTC both crash and the fraud investigations begin.
One interesting response ( which came out in the trial ) was the back dating of Emails.
This is based on Craig using an Encryption tool called BitMessage which was released in 2012 ( guessed from memory ) .. some messages using this tool dated back to 2010, so obviously backdated right ?
Well the public release was 2012 ( again I am using memory for the exact dates ) , however to tool was available on the DARK WEB 2 years earlier, something Craig was obviously using and aware of.
All these messages prove is Craig used the Dark Web…mystery solved
I admit I am biased towards Craig been Satoshi , and also Iras claim been frivolous. I try to maintain a balanced view, but I am not a journalist… I fully accept I mostly fail to give a balanced view.
This is a CoinDesk article ( small blockers version of CoinGeek ) it’s worth a read
https://www.coindesk.com/business/2021/11/05/craig-wrights-latest-funhouse-mirror-legal-adventure/
Regardless of which side you support, this article and many others are a travesty on what should be responsible journalism. These guys are supposed to be professional. I get a publication can ‘tilt’ towards a perceived view, they are after all supplying articles to those that support the basic premise. However, a complete loss of balance does not help make the case.
Craig took the stand, and I think came across well. Spoke directly to the Jury a couple of times making what I think will prove to be a meaningful connection
In questioning the lawyers were getting visibly frustrated as Craig first explains why the question is wrong, rewords it so it’s a better question, and then answers it… They were throwing their arms in the air.
Craig v calm throughout.
One takeaway is Craig didn’t know Dave had no money, so when he told him to mine BTC, It appears Dave didn’t do so, as he had no money to buy equipment ( a real shame ) he did mine on the Testnet probably using his laptops, so he absolutely knew how to mine.
Craig of course mined his own coins which I think total 850 thousand ( not 1.1 mil ) this wasn’t part of the trial, just my take from other stuff Craig has posted.
He will remain on the stand today, and probably tomorrow as well. So far no real major worries, I think the best piece of evidence that Ira has is an Email from Craig to Daves Father that they partnered on BItcoin together. The word PARTNERED is troublesome as it implies a legal and formal arrangement.
He will also be back when the defence makes its case.
You can gets Kurts take on this ( who is attending the trial ) from the CoinGeek YouTube channel.
Craig supporting Gorilla Pool.
As do I
May be needed soon. I hope im wrong
Ok day 5 - continuation
Main take, lots of Emails… each day personally i think who won..
I need to re-watch a few bits
Day 1 Craig
Day 2_3 sort of equal
Day 4 Craig
Day 5, from day 4 we know Ira is a shady character, now his case is looking paper thin ( bordering desperate ) - easy Craig win
Unless something changes .. this is Craigs.
My point we are watching Iras side… he should be winning, He simply isnt
Difficulty stabilised, I think we are sweet… 130G..
From this morning Ira did not go down well.
Difficulty up-to 140G now, this would need the BSV price to be around $450 to make mining profitable.
As long as this isn’t the prelude to an attempt to force a fork, we are going to see a massive jump in price.
Another explanation to the increase in difficulty ( without pushing up the price ), We may be about to get into another hash war.. Hopefully not, but I would not put it past them to attempt dirty tricks.
And now we know the answer.
The article is interesting now we know more of the truth. Ira gave the info to Wired….
https://splinternews.com/who-is-the-hacker-that-outed-craig-wright-as-the-creato-1793853449
Day 4… Heating up
100% Ira Cross examination. And some key Discoveries
Although Ira took Daves electronic equipment ( and effectively wiped it ). He missed the thumb drives in the safe. These were picked up by Patrick Paige, another of Daves close friends. Before Ira started the case against Craig, Ira tried to sue Patrick, possibly he has Daves coins.. its an unknown, but Ira didn’t know about these thumb drives until today…
Ira went behind Craigs back going to the Australian Tax Office which had recently closed the case against Craig, getting them to reopen it. It resulted in 50+ employees of Craigs company all loosing their jobs. I assume the company collapsed. This is one of the reasons Craig hates Ira
With the Info he got from the ATO, Knowing Craig was Satoshi, he either gave or sold that info to Wired who in turn ran the story forcing Craig to reveal his identity. He effectively started the whole anti Craig movement. It is another reason Craig hates Ira. (Kurt called it Doxing)
Ira has over 30 Email addresses with various names, some identifying himself as Dave ( how weird is that ). He seems to run various identities but unclear for what purpose. The obvious implication is that he is a fraud, but i guess thats for the Jury to decide.
Craig should be up tomorrow assuming Ira wraps up.
Looking good for Craig ATM… Ira looks like a sleaze bag.
BSV difficulty has doubled over the last couple of days. Miners operating at a loss ATM. Huge numbers have abandoned the other chains to try and stockpile at least some BSV.
The price is going to explode ( my guess to well over $1000 ) probably by Thanksgiving or shortly after.
TAAL of course will also rise in line.
When Craig moves the coins… sells the first few BTC… its over for BTC / BCH.
I predict BCH will crash first as miners abandon the chain and holders panic sell.
BTC may take longer, but as is continues to drop Tether will also collapse.
If this turns out to be anything close to correct, we are in for a wild ride.
Day 3.. not the fireworks i expected…
Jimmy on video basically saying he wasnt involved in the early days. Interesting that in the trial mediation his disposition tried to be removed by Craigs team, ( which was odd as he is on our side ) , no idea why the opposition went with him beyond Jimmy saying that Craig knew Dave.. A point accepted on both sides.
Ira up, boring first half, led by the lawyers, do you accept you need to do xyz.. treating him as an old man. My take is that they wanted Craigs side to destroy him ( as I wanted too ) .. they didnt.. he is back tomorrow.
If you picked 1 day to be in court, today wasnt it.
Interesting that the short position is very slowly decreasing while the price of BSV rises.
This hasn’t happened before, normally any rise is suppressed by the shorts. Its very slow, and I could be reading too much into what is very slight activity. This however could change very quickly as more information comes out over the course of the trial.
Tether printing machine is also back in action propping up the Ponzi BTC. That isn’t going to end well. When Craig moves his coins after the trial, all hell will break loose.
Day two,, few more witnesses for the Plaintiffs ( Iras side )
Antonopoulos was taken apart in cross examination. Was put forward as an authority in Bitcoin, came away practically admitting he is a mouth piece… I don't know if this is true, but apparently at the end of the day Craig spoke to him, shook his hand and said ‘Im sorry you lost your way’.. I think they were friends / colleagues pre BSV. If thats true.. very stylist.
Few others also up including a business partner of Daves who reportedly came across really well. Although he was a witness for Iras side, there was little to disagree with. He let Craig know when Dave died, and Craig responded that he was upset at his passing. Also that as the rest of the family were not into IT, he should help them secure Daves computer equipment as they could contain Bitcoin. ( I assume in that he failed )
Ira is on the stand tomorrow. For some reason was not in court today. I suspect it will be messy. He apparently did not care for his brother, Craigs team will want to paint him as a desperate money grabber. Someone who didnt help his own brother in his hour of need…..
Also, the progress is ahead of schedule.. was supposed to be 3 weeks ( down from 4-5 )… could now be 2 if this pace keeps up.
