Hey, you got the wrong raznic! I'm waiting for $1.50's next year!
Sure, but if it closed right now, it would be a good up day. I'll take consistent green even though higher would have been nice!
You know we agree, generally. But this (so far little) rally today of two cents (!) is different from July, or whenever that was. We have been rising for a two weeks now, and I see it as part of that. Like others, and you, I'm long, fully invested, and watching growth. Fun stuff! I'm steeling myself for a drop after Q3 when the traders exit and take profits. That's when we'll need the other PR's to come in IMO.
Well if they are, they aren't as rowdy this time. I remember that run up all too well. It was hard to find a familiar name on the board. Not this time, as northpeak just said, this seems to be much more natural. Either way, up is up!
My take is that this a deserved rally following over a week of small increases. I don't think there is a specific reason, other than what we know already about pending Q3, partnership, increasing workload of SunWorks, possible expansion, manufacturing, patent pending protection, etc etc. Others are beginning to see what we have seen here, and the rise we keep talking about and wishing for is happening. IMO!
$LTD has higher volume today than Ford (F)!
You just may become his favorite nephew!
When the stock goes down there is much on this board about why don't people see what we see, (a great investment bound to increase due to all the reasons posted). Now its going up, I believe others have noticed what we see, finally. The word is spreading. The news is that buyers are seeing that at .20 SLTD is a bargain!
I sold Solar3D on SLO,
But it was oversold, oh no,
So I checked the tealeaves,
and found it was due Q3's,
so then decided to get mo mo!
Actually, its a bit more for these OTC buys.
Scottrade is the same, I have put in huge numbers of stock and its always broken up in the purchase procedure. I'm only charged the one charge though, $7.
What are you talking about? Other stock?
Same here for me in rural Tennessee. Bus, what's a bus? But I do use my electric cart all over the property and local road!
Considering the across the board blood bath on the market today, we didn't do badly at all. Green in a sea of red.
Here is my take on the ribbon cutting. I really don't think it is the place for or likely that there will be an announcement concerning the future of Solar 3D. Its not our show. Its Recycle Industries showing of their new solar system, installed by SunWorks, to their community. If Jim came and said, "Oh well done on the new panels, and by the way, we are now making better ones", it just wouldn't be the right venue or good manners.
The Jackson Wine people, however, seem to be on a long term plan of upgrading all of their warehouses in a variety of locations. They seem willing to try different technologies according to the older news release Chiinkwai linked us to earlier. I said way back at the time of the Jackson project news release (you can check my old posts) that I would not be surprised if the part of the project that SunWorks is doing, just might be the test location for the new panel. A private company with good security and hidden away in some acreage. That was my speculation then, and it continues to be today. Long and strong, lead on Mr. Nelson!
They're visible on the overhead on Google Maps, but I suspect the street view is older. (Not that you would see them from the street view anyway!) So..... I guess they are up dating their panels? Or..... testing something new maybe. How about that for speculation?
That would make a nice Trick or Treat night!
OK, I'll play! This is to predict the closing pps on Friday, October 31, right? I'll say $0.375 and hope that I'm low in reality.
Up is up. 1% is a move in the right direction.
You are right, good news and bad news can be equally stressful. The movie "Waking Ned Devine" comes to mind; he wins the Irish Lottery and has a heart attack looking at the numbers. Surely the whole point is to be able to enjoy our funds after the SLTD growth!
But that's most probably over a month away. As you said in a previous recent post, "Have a beer and relax" or I might say a cup of tea and the same!
I think they call it "slowly drifting up". We like that. Not enough to alert the rabble, but enough to keep the longs happy. Maybe .15 by weekend? Its all old territory for SLTD but nice to approaching the old stomping grounds!
Well, Derek I couldn't have said it better myself. Well done and we have a similar track record. Lots of good support from some good folks here, you just have to ignore the dross sometimes!
Oh I see, its high falutin' mega trader lingo! Well thanks for your work in the forward trenches, I'll just stay in the reserve trench, eating the food you won't get and reading your mail! LOL
Can I be ignorant here? What is CDEL? I thought you were pumping another stock on this board. Are you? Over 600K to your question, a variety of levels.
Sure, that sounds about right to me. We know they have been hiring, and surely that corresponds to further domestic jobs that all add up. I have full confidence it will be a growth report!
Whats the best guestimate/thoughts on when the Q3 will be released? Mid twenties October? Thoughts?
Also, the ask remained at .14 for only 100 shares when the last price was .148 Some real fishy stuff IMO. But don't give up on the whole day yet, we're only 20 minutes in!!
Sounds like Hope. Lemme tell you something, 'Hope' is a dangerous thing around here. LOL
Now that's funny Nome44! When you were in the "Big House" can you read postings or not log in at all? Did you notice you had company for final two days?
Poor old Nome, stuck in the penalty box with Joey Joe! At least he gets out tomorrow.
Some of you may find this helpful. The address and name of the Solar3D patent lawyer is on the forms from the Patent Authority. He is Adrian Lee, working out of Salt Lake City. This is a high powered agency. www.wnlaw.com Check it out. They specialize in intellectual properties and national and international patents. Mr. Lee, in particular, has experience in silicon valley patents. I called them and spoke to his secretary, and after some discussion with her with him in the background, he, not surprisingly felt there would be a conflict talking directly to me about anything to do with Solar3D. So he has a relationship with them, hence the conflict. This product is in good hands!
DBrown, the other day, said he spoke to Mr. Nelson on the phone, and if you believe the veracity of the post, he (DBrown) was assured by the CEO that we have current protection, and their patent lawyer (I assume the one in Utah) was AOK with the issues presented in the past few days. Any potential manufacturing partner is going to go through the patent status with a fine tooth comb by their lawyers prior to signing anything. So for me, that's the end of it. I believe DBrown spoke to Mr. Nelson and I accept the info. We have current protection, the company is moving on, the patent lawyers are working it, and I'm holding!
LOL, nope not the core longs. Actually I predicted the flippers would be right along before Buckylaw gave his input, (of course that was a no brainer that they would show up after a PR.)
I'm not sure I agree with you this time Chiinkwai1, but its just IMO. The correlation between the down slide and the discussion is too much to overlook. We know more and more folks are looking at SLTD as word (slowly)gets out, so more are looking here.
Still, its great news about the expanding subdivision headquarters. Does anyone know where it is? Google maps street views?
Thanks for that, so wasn't that what the PR about two weeks ago was all about? Four national applications in four countries including the USA. Remind me to never file for an international patent myself, I've never heard of such a bureaucratic blizzard, and it ain't over!
Are you over complicating this? For the present SLTD HAS patent protection under the "pending" category. The process seems to be endless, but isn't this the case for time being, while it all gets worked out/appealed/re-submitted whatever?
The rabble of flippers and day traders will show up in a moment I'm sure, lets keep most or as much of this pop as we can!! Long and strong $LTD!
I sure like the goal of your rumor. Getting on the big boards. I'm eager as the next participant for positive quarterly reports, acquisitions, and news of the panel development and partnerships, but, I really think serious PPS growth will be lest hampered when that happens!
Now THAT is funny.
