Up next week, q1 coming, this still is a growing company, saying 1/10 users bailing, out or your mind? Everybody I know is still on facebook except for Elon Musk maybe.
Even if some advertisers leave, the growth would eat it.
UP UP UP it goes!
Lol, this board has been changed into sinworks if you have to believe Sandridge and the guys
Same here, bough in around 150s, they still post good revenue, curious what q1 brings.
I advertise myself on facebook, I'm not going to quit that, way too much advertising potential... Gotta stay sober, it's the shorts who rule the board now.
to quote warren buffet - “Be Fearful When Others Are Greedy and Greedy When Others Are Fearful”
Solid company with solid revenue.
Jep, just wait for Q1...
I don't see any good reason for it to go up too for the moment.
It has some resistance at this point though... hovering for days now.
To come back at this, the message undereath:
No replies
:')
Nice question, spot on I must say :)
Good for us, that means nevada will bring in more $$$$ this year!
Small sidenote, in 2040 it may become cheaper to artificially produce fuels eg gasoline with the power of solar then to pump it out the ground...
Hi folks,
something to hold on to :)
Solar energy just keeps getting cheaper and cheaper..
2020 is the tipover point!
https://www.nextbigfuture.com/2017/06/bloomberg-new-energy-finance-has-the-bullish-global-solar-energy-scenario-through-2040.html
These posts are absolutly not credible. Be it positive or negative.
You Sandridge as a known bear could've posted a message on there that is absolutly not positive to the company.
As also a pumper can post positive things over there.
You can be sure this happens with publicly traded companies, too much money on the table...
I thought I would see sandridge or upontheroof cheer for Trump putting down the Paris agreement on global warming.
They did not however. Must be because deep down they still believe in solar dont they.
Good to see them checking in daily into this board, whatever their comments are, they must be consearned.
Go green, go SLTD!
Lol, how can they be making estimates if the quarter only ends in 1 month...
It certainly is questionable why someone makes it his personal mission to downtalk a stock. Everyday again with every tool he can use, even fake news.
It sure is and that's why SUNW one day will be acquired by a company like Elon Musks Solarcity.
Vertical integration is key.
guys,
thats a whole magnitude of business further and I'm sorry but if you feel this as searching for excuses for JN you're trash.
Starting up a manufacturing plant takes hundreds of millions if not billions.
Not to mention the timing, chinese cheap ass panels where and still are flooding the market, one after another inland manufacturer goes bancrupt by these chinese panels.
Off course it never was the intention to start a plant, if you are somebody like Elon Musk it's a whole other story, they are billionaires, they've got marketshare already and what they can pull of a profitable vertical integration like this.
about sunworks;
Nelson did a good thing here, like it or not.
He did what he could with the things he had, he even did better.
He got us on Nasdaq for F*** sake, he got a profitable company to sell to a company that had NO MONEY on the banks but only a good idea.
Think about this, would the former CEO of SUNWORKS, a guy thatprobably outsmarted many people on this board by the way, be stupid and just believe in a stupid story somebody told him.
NO, he saw FACTS, good IDEAS, and huge possible PROFITS.
Curious how many of you will ever manage to even run a million dollar business yourselves by the way, funny that it's always people with no IQ start bashing the people make the world turn.
And Nelson, he did make mistakes, but when time came to pass the chair, he did.
further:
I'm pretty sick with people coming in here twisting the facts completly making this company looking like shit.
It's all fairly easy saying afterwards it's all a big conspirancy.
Some of these people then even make it to become administrator of ths page, un-be-lievable.
They didnt take it he, its just a safeguard.
They can go into debit at any time updates to 2.5 million if they need.
Until nov. 17, then Theyll need to renegotiate...
In reply, in stead of scaring people, read my last post.
Further reading:
On December 31, 2015, we entered into a $2.5 million Credit Facility with JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. Availability under the Credit Facility is a Line of Credit with a Letter of Credit Sublimit up to $2.5 million. The Company had zero outstanding at March 31, 2017 and December 31, 2016. The Credit Facility matures on November 30, 2017, but may be cancelled at any time by the Company. Loans are secured by a security interest in the Company’s account held with the Lender. Interest on any unpaid balance accrues at the Prime Rate; provided that, on any given day, shall not be less than the Adjusted One Month LIBOR rate. Until the maturity date, the Company shall pay monthly interest only. While we currently generate sufficient cash to meet our operating cash requirements, we have the ability to access cash under the credit facility should our management determine to do so.
Hard to say, accounts receivable are up 2 million, liabities down 2mil, they might feel the heat.
But if the next quarter will turn out, they might just fix it and start tipping towards the positive side.
I would say the same thing, maybe wait for q1 to pass but no longer.
Speeking about govenment contracts, who does them now?
What ranges can you think in?
Would we be sufficient to get them done?
This is exactly why:
Analyst Jeffrey Osborne suggests the company's backlog provides visibility for a strong recovering in the second quarter and second half of 2017, as management reported 2016 fourth quarter EPS and gross margin below consensus. Some of the challenges facing SUNW appear to clearing up in 2017, as prior guidance of 30% revenue growth was reaffirmed.
keeping in mind they now have a new ceo that's much more gifted with a company like this as Nelson clearly was I'd say SUNW is set to turn the tide this year.
As I said before, you shouldn't expect a company to be profitable within 3 years of it's start. (I count the 1st acquisition as the start)
We're past year 3 now...
For once I 100% completly agree with you!
I'm however convinced 2017 will be a good year with the expansion into the other areas too.
We'll see!
Cmon man, we know you were already buying in again, you perfectly know when it's at its deepest levels...
We notice in your way of speaking about the company you see :)
You always tend to get a little more forgiving...
What a surprise!
Well I do like the new guy I must say he's better fit for the job it seems! Having a background as a cfo is a very good thing sure!
Again they pick someone who is familiar with GETTING acquired, says enough not.
As for the how much will this cost, stop making worries about spending, company is growing and they still have enough cash on the bank! Expansion costs...
Makes me happy, pre market seems to like it too.

Kaneka Corporation has achieved in a NEDO project the world’s highest solar power conversion efficiency of 26.33% in a practical size (180 cm2 ) crystalline silicon solar cell.
This record-breaking result will advance technical development of crystalline silicon solar cells and contribute significantly to reducing the cost of power generation through use of high-efficiency solar cells.
Kaneka Corporation developed a high conversion-efficiency crystalline silicon solar cell (heterojunction back-contact type) in NEDO New Energy Technology Department’s Development of High-Performance and Reliable PV Modules to Reduce LCOE project, and has achieved the world’s highest conversion efficiency of 26.33% in a crystalline silicon solar cell having a practical size (180 cm2). This achievement breaks the world record of 25.6% by ~0.7%, exceeding 26% for the first time in the world.
NEDO and Kaneka Corporation have been working to develop high conversion efficiency crystalline silicon solar cells targeting LCOE reduction. The desired result was achieved by means of a combination of heterojunction technology using high-quality amorphous silicon, low resistance electrode technology, and a back-contact structure that captures more solar energy, all of which were developed by Kaneka Corporation.
NEDO and Kaneka Corporation will continue to develop solar cell technology for reducing cost and improving performance and reliability to achieve the target electric power generation costs of 14 yen/kWh in 2020 and 7 yen/kWh in 2030.
Kaneka Corporation is planning to commercialize high-efficiency solar cells that utilize the results of NEDO’s project and will move ahead with development for practical use.
Kaneka researchers submitted an article to Nature Energy where they were able to further optimize their solar cell to achieve 26.6 percent efficiency.
Nature Energy - Silicon heterojunction solar cell with interdigitated back contacts for a photoconversion efficiency over 26%
Abstract
Improving the photoconversion efficiency of silicon solar cells is crucial to further the deployment of renewable electricity. Essential device properties such as lifetime, series resistance and optical properties must be improved simultaneously to reduce recombination, resistive and optical losses. Here, we use industrially compatible processes to fabricate large-area silicon solar cells combining interdigitated back contacts and an amorphous silicon/crystalline silicon heterojunction. The photoconversion efficiency is over 26% with a 180.4?cm2 designated area, which is an improvement of 2.7% relative to the previous record efficiency of 25.6%. The cell was analysed to characterize lifetime, quantum efficiency, and series resistance, which are essential elements for conversion efficiency. Finally, a loss analysis pinpoints a path to approach the theoretical conversion efficiency limit of Si solar cells, 29.1%.
baggers, still believe strongly in this stock.
They just got a bad quarter and that was not in a lot of people's expections. Will go up again.
Rated ridiculously low now. I'll remind you end of year when they post postitive earnings.
All the negative posters on board just allways wave away the expansion into all the other states that is happening this year, the revenue that went up in fact 30%, the facts that they are working on getting costs further down and the fact that when you start a company you shouldn't ask too much to be profitable within 3 years. haha telsa and haha amazon etc... how cashflow positive are those.
I hope Nelson takes a big loan for the earnings he has done, he deserves it when you built a 100million dollar company from scratch.
Look at the shareprice today, bottems reached, you can see the candles flatting out..
One more bad quarter and we're off, 60mil backlog lad's.
I'd buy some more shares if it weren't for some real estate i'm hitting this year. Partially thanks to this stock btw and the company I recently acquired, which I also don't expect to be profitable in the next 3-4 years, gotta make some debt first.
People are easy to find nowadays he, don't forget the economy is still recovering...
It's not the end - there was growth, just not what they thought.
It is a big misser still...
True story Carl!
one small question that might've been answered-
when cann we expect the year results 2016?
I kinda remembered it to be around this time correct?
I want to add a sidenote to this informative piece of work.
Shareholders may want to keep a portion of their wallet for the case of an eventual buyout, which I think is what one day will happen.
We all know James Nelson has the resume to sell companies after all...
This company just needs some solid revenue with some solid profits to get back to that level. This will take time, you should be patient, but you're not enough.
If you could bring up some patience, you would be a lot more eased in your mind Sandridge...
Look at me, I visit this board once in a while, then I see you mostly posting negative 'feelings', cause that's what your post in fact are.
On the other hand, I don't give a d*mn if it's lower for the moment, I have trust in this company.
They'll make it, end of year results are coming, we will have revenue of close to or over 100 000 000 dollars, you see how many zeroes that are...
They are paying back the debts they had to make right at this moment to just be able to make the revenue they're making now.
I hope if you ever figure to startup your own business, you'll be sure to know that building a company isn't done in 1,2,3. You commit yourself to something, make debts, and LATER start PROFITING.
This proces TAKES TIME.
If you're in here for the quick haul, you are late. I already took it when it went from 0.005 cents (pre split) to + 8.00$.
People who came later will just have to wait some more, live with it. Or sell.
But still you keep coming back to this stock and keep trading, so you do have faith in it...
Hmmmwha a beautiful day it is, today i woke up realizing that the closer we get, the better we stand.
I realize that in few months time, i can be visiting this board again without having to read messages based on lies from people who made the wrong investments and are therefore in a constant degrading mood.
I realize that in a few months time, be it a year or maybe some longer, this company will have gone trough infancy, though some people here thought this year wouldve been very profitable, one should not expect a startup company to be so from its first years, you have for instance on the other very edge amazon.
I think 2017 will bring lots of goodies for us and i realize that with this goodies, the board will come back to its old good times, when i liked to visit everyday.
I just hope some people can hold on some longer if they're desperate, remember where weve came from, the road ahead is bathed in golden sunrays!
Lol, these guys are longer than us! And present e-v-e-r-y single day to make sure they don't miss out anything on their most favored stock!
It will, i still see a company thats trying tonimprove itself, I still see a startup where we all know from most dont start making profits from year one. Actually its funny, deep inside we all know it will be hard sometimes but we keep telling ourselves that it only will be bright :) then if it we hit rough waters we all scare the heck outta ourselves...
i really disagree drugman, qi really remember me on the day after the election tappinn on the alternative energy tab next so,the word sunwprks, looking up the other solar stock and they all dropped kinda the same percentage!
False mate, the day Trump was elected the other solar stocks got hits too. We went down 10% that day.
Your' right about the quarter, that was the biggest hit, but the election sure did it's thing.
