Why are people freaking out? Increasing the A/S had to happen. To grow the business. To protect themselves from bankruptcy. To finance the company. That's what shares are for. Now with that being said, this can go well, badly or have no impact. It all depends on what the CEO wants to do. I was more concerned about having an almost maxed out A/S and having no idea how much more they were going to up it. Now we know, can Stop worrying about, access the situation and move on. All I can say is that SEGI better be smart. GLTA invest smart!
Ha, yea my Economics Professor went over the Walmart stock splits in class when I was a Freshman in college. But that was in 2002? It opened my eyes to the potential in early investments. I had no chance in making that investment ha. But hopefully I will be part of others to come.
We could probably get there quicker if someone was sneaky about it. But once it starts to go up that fast the volume will get huge. I'm really excited to part of something like this. It's just a matter of time. If I was rich, I would get this rolling just to see what it would do if suddenly went up 10x
He was probably trying to get a selfie with the CEO to put on the twitterface
Ha, well to make that happen you need like 10-20 guys coordinated behind the scenes to hit this stock just like you do. Haha, but I wouldn't encourage that on iHub. We need legitimate investors that are here to stay.
That's true. And I don't really like to talk charts with pennies or sub pennies but the 1 year chart looks really good. And if it would want to run again like it did back in March and repeat itself, this could get huge. Parabolic. But with these stocks it all depends on good news and/or pumpanddumpers
Since Cayo's bid disappeared I assume he changed his order to higher than the ask and drove the price up. Ha, it's cool. Still need more volume than 50K before anything really interesting happens.
Only when you do something that I don't like. That's when you become a market manipulator. Ha. But raising the PPS and building bid support does not fall into that category.
The rest of your order will fill when someone wants to sell 40,000 shares at .002 and undercut the current asking price.
It just means you bought all the shares that were available at .002 and that is neither good nor bad depending on what level of risk you want to take on which I believe you be about where you want it to be. You know you don't have to hit the ask price every time. It seems a lot of people including GR8 have been able to pick up shares cheap by sitting on the ask. But it is up to you. And you know this. GL
I'd rather SEGI be like LGF. Both from Canada and both independent. It's hard to rent a movie nowadays that doesn't have LionsGate slapped across the introduction of it.
Wait, are we still talking evil geniuses or arch enemies? Cuz that would be Scar from the Lion King...
Or were you talking about Lionsgate Entertainment? Or Lion Ling?
Luckily, for you my friend. Time is what we SEGI holders have a lot of. Whenever we run out of time we just add some more. If you are right, we may never know because it will never be shown. Ed would just find a way to stall it ad infinitum. But when I do finally give up and sell my shares, I will admit that I was wrong and you were right and I will probably come back here and be a hater. Haha but until then... This will be an ongoing struggle between time, the patience of shareholders, and day traders alike.
Wouldn't that be weird if most of that was true? Ed would be diabolical. The list would go:
1. Lex Luthor
2. The Joker
3. Ed Sylvan
Top 3 Evil Geniuses (of all time)
I was just trying to look at these series of events through the eyes of what a sensible person might see. But in actuality I fall somewhere between you and Fitman. Highly skeptical almost to the point bashing your own stock on a public forum with a sense complete hope and vindication that this will succeed. I just don't know anymore.
Wait, so you think that Ed filed phony financials that look terrible just to go pink then bug off on the Canadian BCSC to get defaulted in order to launch a series of fake PR's that can't be verified backed by a fictitious audit that will never come to fruition? All in order to string along the likes of GR8 and CAYO, so Ed can photobomb billionaires just to post to I presume a false twitter account to impress actual Hollywood celebrities so he can go around driving in lambos and poppin bottles in da club? I highly doubt it. But I'm a skeptic too. Really.
Just the fact that he was willing to have an audit done and pay probably in the upwards of $10K to have it done speaks volumes. Just about any sub penny you could throw a dart at would not and maybe could not achieve this. An audit will expose your company for what it is. Unless someone thinks SEGI can trick its way through an audit... Use the common sense test to rationalize these actions. What would you come up with?
I wonder who keeps making these low ball trades? They must not get charged transaction fees. I mean a $10 fee on a $100 transaction while taking a 30% loss on a trade? Very smart investor guy. Very very smart...
Ha, because this is iHub. It's a forum for investors or whoever to speculate and talk about companies and what have you. I wasn't inquiring Ed to give us more, I was asking this board if they had any clue. Geez, up tight much? This board is sensored enough as it is already. Most of it sucks anyways. You don't have to read it.
I've seen articles about kickstarter investments in China where they finance movies like buying shares of stock. Hopefully, we can get some of that China market to invest into SEGI. Does anybody know who is in that twitter pic? What kind of investors is he talking about???
This stock just doesn't trade like anything else I've seen before. It acts rather dormant most of the time but never crashes like most sub pennies back to .0003 or below. It doesn't get day traded so the volume is always low and doesn't go up and down on a regular basis. I've just come to terms that you can't look at this as a stock, you have to look at it as a company. You can't play the stock, you have to invest in the company. At least until this gets more action. I'm still trying to figure this out. Still waiting. Not going anywhere. Just watching all the other penny stocks go up and down waiting for our chance. And just maybe this one won't go back down? Who knows, this is a weird one.
It's amazing what $28 can do to a stock price. Haha. Well two more weeks and then we find out how much longer it will be. Nearing the end of the proverbial tunnel maybe?
I just looked up my local Cinemark theater and they are showing The Battle of the Strands for a $11.50 a ticket on 10/06/14. I wonder how much Sycamore's cut is? 360 theaters nationwide.
Let's say 250 seats at $11.50 a seat and 360 theaters is $1,035,000 revenue for one night if they sold out and the average ticket was $11.50. Check out new article about it below.

You don't even need to ask me that question. I just want "the big news" to be I substance. Not sponsoring some glamour show in seven theaters worldwide. Ha
He does what he says he's goin to do and that's great but we need positive results from those completed tasks.
I just how it all turns out all right. It seems like the SEGI haters have left this board for now.
If was just a pessimistic joke. I hope sooner.
I bet he will wait til Suday to post a tweet update about it. Ha.
So they will miss the 90 day window for Sedar compliance. What comes next? How long after the completion of the audit will he give us news of any sort? Will the audit itself give us cause for a valuation increase?
Can't pump a dormant stock. We need legitimate good news or a team pumpndump investors to target SEGI. Otherwise nothing will happen.
Looks like we will be waiting once again. Insiders would be increasing volume before anything would be posted. So far nothing... Here's to another long month or maybe two!
Dear Mr. Austin,
You contacted our firm to ask several questions regarding timing and cost for auditing small public companies. While we always need to see the financial statements and discuss the company’s operations to give more definitive fee estimates for audits, I can provide some general information based on assumptions.
If you have a small publicly traded company without any revenues or significant assets the fees will range from $3,000 to $5,000 for the annual audit and $1,300 to $2,200 for the quarterly review. These fees could be higher if there are significant financing transactions which require additional review. If the company has revenue or significant assets then the fees would be higher and would depend on the nature of the operations.
Overall an audit of a company that has no revenue or significant assets should take anywhere from 1-4 weeks, depending on how quickly the information is provided to us as well as the general condition of the financial records that we encounter. As the scope of operations increases the amount of time tends to increase.
To provide a better estimate of costs and timing it is a good idea for us to have a brief conversation and for us to review the financial statements of the company you would like audited. I can be reached at 832-242-9950, extension XXX to discuss further. I look forward to the opportunity to discuss this with you further.

Ha, I try.
I contacted SEGI's audit firm yesterday via email and posed as a potential client. I asked a few questions about the average cost of an audit and length of time it would take to complete a public company about the size of SEGI. I will post the email response from an auditor from M&K CPAS in a few minutes... stay tuned.
I think so too. Yesterday was just weird. Doesn't make sense. Somebody was just playing around. Testing the waters for sure.
Was anybody surprised this fell back to .0016? The answer is no. I just feel bad for whoever spent $6k yesterday trying to start a premature run that wasn't ready yet. MM's will whack this back down until they absolutely can't do it anymore. Stay strong. Don't let 160K shares of bid whacking discourage you. All it would take is $500 to get it back to where it was but the cycle would only repeat until volume increases
I hope that I was included in your reference towards chatting with intelligent people since you were responding to one of my posts. Ha, I don't know Ed either and I know he hasn't exactly had the best past (but who does?). I know that not everything he has implemented has worked out but I know that everything he has said has at least been accomplished... So far. I know that he is new to the game relatively and it has taken him 4 years to get to where he is today with SEGI. I'm sure this industry is a lot about networking. And I think he is building a legitimate rapport with some influential people within the industry. And that is an intangible value... Value that I include into the PPS. It's just a matter of time before it becomes tangible. IMO of course.
Alright, I can hear you on that. But no amount of shorting, bid whacking, MM games or any other scare tactic stock manipulation can keep a good stock down forever, only delay it. Stay strong and true to your DD. I know I will. GLTA
I doubt anybody including the MMs are shorting a sub penny like this. With no volume? I'd be surprised if this stock was on anybody's radar. I'm not entirely sure about the rules of shorting pink stock sub pennies but I don't think they are applicable. Just my opinion of course. Nobody is making money here up or down without any volume. Transaction fee and spread profiteers are the only winners so far.
I've weathered the SEGI storm many many times here. Gone from 20's to 10's more times than I can count. Can't sink this ship. And I'm not jumping ship either. Go big or go home right? Go SEGI
