The BlackRock news is encouraging
I agree with you. I will wait now to see what happens before I comment further. I hope that everybody now have eyes wide open. Good luck to us.
Just my opinion, but a release of the letter AH today will not contain what we all want to read. Taking a page outta the government which does news dumps late on a Friday and shuts off the light.
And what does that extra $2 to $3 million in sales do to the 2020 numbers and our shareprice....the only reason we are here? Asking for a friend.
I don't think a complete explanation was ever offered. The company told us there was a backlog at the end of quarter one. They said it, at the time, as though it was a positive. I viewed it that way as it didn't enter my mind a cancellation could/would happen. An opposite view could say they were unprepared for a spike in demand. We heard nothing more, kinda buried, and it wasn't even brought up by the company in a subsequent cc. A questioner during Q and A asked what about that backlog(?) and the response was we lost it, it got canceled. My interpretation, strictly me, is they didn't produce the order quickly enough and ,for whatever speculative reason, the buyer(s) canceled. If I order today, and you ship it right out, no time for "We changed our mind". So, without them clarifying, orders didn't get filled timely and got canceled. If somebody knows better, straighten me out.
Luck is where preparation meets opportunity. Vince Lombardi. Ever notice how the good teams, the well prepared ones, seem to get the breaks at the right time? March 2020 interview "We are not really a Covid play". Preparation. May 2020, "Um, we blew it with a $3 million back order and couldn't deliver". That's my quote since they didnt have the balls to say it.
It does?
There was a book written about the 1962 Mets called "Can't Anybody Here Play This Game?". I can't figure out why that comes to mind(?)
Premarket activity is not good. Time to get our helmets back out dammit. Neverending.
A quiet period because news is imminent is quite different from "We're quiet because we got nothin'". What's the hold up here with the shareholder letter?
Hey, somebody give me some guidance on how I'm supposed to feel about tomorrow and this week? The last time I got too optimistic in late July I got busted right in the teeth. Excited, yet apprehensive. MAKE THIS LETTER A GOOD ONE
It looks like this happened before 9/30/2020. Were they a part of the financing at $9.50?
I didnt sign up for the cardiac ticagrelor seminar. Any info on developments is appreciated.
New hire, VP of Regulatory Affairs. Looks like that's the only news this morning.
https://vancouversun.com/news/vancouver-firm-to-distribute-covid-19-blood-purification-machine-in-canada I check "news" everyday and this just showed today. Old but still nice coverage.
Pretty big volume spike but they are careful not to substantially raise the price. A real game going on.
We have had Giants season tix in my family since 1957. My Dad was at the famous Giants vs Baltimore Colts OT game that many say put pro football on the map. At Yankee Stadium our seats were so good that Johnny Carson sat near us and when Pete Rozelle would come to a Giants game, he too would be one row away from us. It was a special place to see a game, unlike the cookie cutter oval monstrosities of today. I was a lucky kid (born in 1958). Sorry to everyone else for the OT post.
I was at Yankee Stadium with my Dad and brother to see the Dolphins beat the Giants that year enroute to the perfect season. People forget Earl Morrell's contribution as Bob Griese is remembered as QB. Great great team. Csonka, Kiick, Morris, Anderson, Scott, Buoniconti, Warfield. I am unintentionally forgetting some for sure.
Great post. Thank you. I'm from NJ and a NY Giants fan. The 1970s were pretty ugly for them. The saying was that those Giants could snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Why I'm thinking about that saying now is self explanatory. Us longs cant even enjoy 5 frickin days of success
Thanks for responding. I appreciate it. Ya gotta admit when we have been waiting almost a year now for both, that someone who researches like he does would say that the odds are with an update on both within a week and before the shareholder letter. Don't you agree? Why now all of a sudden would both have news? Curious, and thanks again for responding. (I hope he's right!)
Canes16, what is your take on Techxen new post on Stocktwits predicting fairly imminent REMOVE and FDA news? He's saying prior to shareholder letter release(?) Thanks in advance. Appreciate your input.
Agreed. My "bold" goes further than predictions.
Bolder
$11.5 million in sales was good, no doubt. But it wasn't unexpected, or something that would draw attention to us. And the portion of it connected to Covid is viewed as temporary by the market. How temporary is anybody's guess as it's still expanding. The hiring of Dr. Makis was a big positive. The hiring of Medtronic's sales guru Komsa should be viewed as an indication that FDA will be happening relatively soon. But the failure to keep us updated, or to meet deadlines for promised updates, has people gun shy. After some good recent news, it remains that the two items that may move the needle, REMOVE and FDA, remain unknown. We need that news and we need this upcoming shareholders letter to be bold and dynamic (and I realize this is not what the people in charge here are all about). Ready to rock in 2021. Let's go already!
Thanks for that. Wishing him a speedy recovery. A fountain of good info.
His newest post mentions a $150K drawdown on a contract by Romania (I think). The "1/13/21" post was different and that was the whole of it. Strange. The guy seems to research the hell outta things so this was/is intriguing. I'd be surprised if it pertained to Romania.
"Lack" on yahoo "Look for a big trade later today". Gets questioned and doesnt answer. Techxen posted "1/13/21", that was all. Is questioned and doesnt answer. ???
I saw the post and note he didn't reply to a request for clarification. Do we get the shareholder letter tomorrow to keep the momentum going or will it be something else? And how did he know?
I agree with you and I also think that the increase in sales due to Covid are viewed as temporary. FDA alleviates those fears, as long as the path is not lengthy.
I think it has big implications that he's willing to come to CTSO. They must be confident of the FDA ticagrelor situation being resolved. Nothing else makes sense. Cautiously optimistic. News soon?
We've hired a VP of Sales and Marketing for the US
Anyone want to take a stab at the significance of this?
I think I'm gonna faint! LOL. I hope so!
Yes, good day. I was hoping for the shareholder update.
I need a Hemopure pep talk! Hemo, come out from under his desk and enlighten us. What % are we up?
We have 3 webinars scheduled and raised $28,00 for charity ( was this $14,000 with $14,000 match? Asking for a friend). Are you saying this isn't progress?
When you can't lift your head from exhaustion and depletion, and somebody comes in with a drink saying it will replenish your electrolytes and make you feel better, albeit briefly, you drink it. I hope no one here ever has to feel this. Peace.
I endured 90 days of massive IV antibiotics when staph endocarditis led to a homograft replacement of my aortic valve and a segment of my aorta. An abscess on my ventricle as well. Very similar to this case of the week. I was hospitalized for a very long time. They had me drink "Ensure" multiple times a day because your electrolytes are wiped out continuously (I will spare everybody how this happens). The Ensure is terrific for anyone in danger of dehydration etc when sick. It gave me a brief burst, almost a high, before my intestines took me quickly back down again. Getting home to my children kept me alive. Standing up was exhausting. It is remarkable this 20 year old was out in 7 days. Truly amazing.
Nothing short of a miracle this 20yo "kid" went home in 7 days. Remarkable. The barrage of antibiotics alone kills all of the good bacteria in your gut and just wipes you out.
Any thoughts on whether we'll get preliminary numbers in the next week?
