maeberly-y, why can't you be true, oh maeberlyyyyyy why can't you be true? I never said he's Dr. Jones. As a matter of fact, until you just wrote it, I never even contemplated it. And let's face it, he's way to busy signing up all the deals.
Brady, I am a shareholder of IMSC. Long and strong. I have friends(?) from Massachusetts who coaxed me into this. They will either be hoisted on my shoulders some day, or bludgeoned in their sleep LOL. I do not work for Smith and Morpho. I am a banker who would not know ETD technology if it bit me on the ass. I hope Buzz keeps posting. It's informative and entertaining.
Well Buzz, I made my first buy in January of 2013 and have continued to add since. Not a share sold because I drank the kool aid and believe big time this is going to explode, if not now, soon. So, I read every post on every board because I thirst for info and welcome all opinions. And I'll make up my own mind. I call the company and have visited. And with all of that, I wouldn't dream of predicting a price for the units of between 35 and 37. Why? Because how in the hell would I know? And THAT is where you come in Buzzy, confidently throwing things out that you just don't deduce on your own. So, go ahead and issue your 6th 7th 8th denial and I ain't buyin' what you're sellin.
Buzz...you should have added "And Mas, since I am so obviously a company plant with knowledge nobody else on here does, you should believe me". That would have set him straight, perhaps.
You have better things to do with your time than ask Glenn for a clarification but you're posting on a message board of a stock you don't own/like on a Saturday morning LOL.

I take that as you agree?
I am buoyed by the amount of the IDIQ. Why? Well $162 is an odd amount and, in my opinion, was based on some calculation (pretty darn specific too to come up with that number). Ask yourself why they didn't just settle on $150 or $200 if the eventual order amount is uncertain(?) No, I'm guessing there's a pretty good plan in place to utilize that $162. Not saying it's written in stone but that's my feeling.
There comes a time when the 5 tool triple A guy has to start hitting those 40 homers and driving in 110 runs at THE MAJOR LEAGUE LEVEL. You ask if the new guy would be better, but the better question is how much worse is possible? I kept quiet but when we announced $600K sales to like 4 or 5 countries (TOTAL) my immediate thought was "Uh oh, we're grasping to try to keep the troops in line"
BUZZ, they are equal right now in the only statistic that matters today, TSA hasn't bought any of the 3. We are the superior one. They haven't bought it...yet. Let me say this. I want you to be right. Give us your theory on the delay. You must have one since I believe you are on top of the situation.
And Buzz, when you state as "fact" that TSA doesn't want the old Smith and Morpho (and I may even agree with you), I'm guessing you are basing that on the fact they haven't bought any recently(?) If that's your reason , doesn't it also fit that they don't want the 220 because they haven't bought any? Goes both ways, no?
Buzz, the argument can only be made that TSA waited for the 220 if and when they've bought some. They haven't, hence, you can draw no conclusion as to what they are doing or waiting for. An IDIQ and an order changes that, But right now...nope.
Who are you? I'm not buying that you stumbled upon this site on 10/20 and started making posts that seem to indicate you have a pretty good handle on this business and the players involved.
Travel should have been stopped immediately and the fool with an agenda still won't do it.
Tell that to the nurses and their families.
Well look at that. August lost a day. I knew I came here for some reason.
When exactly did the US Govt become thrifty? Do you have a date?
All these Sunday posts tell me we be close. We be very close.
Except the prices for stocks often do reflect anticipated future events/earnings etc. To simply look at a $20 million revenue snapshot, while ignoring the implications of same, would be erroneous (my opinion). Where is Netflix if based simply on today's numbers? Should IMSC be worth $0 right now based on the fact that they lose money? Someday, the price of this stock may be driven by some multiple of this or that. Right now we're all banking on potential. Big potential.
Even if I agreed with you about removing Bolduc (can't say it strongly enough that I don't agree), are you saying that, right now (and you know damn well what is about to happen), would be a good time to make a change? Fire the Manager before Game One of the World Series? The Head Coach the Saturday before the Super Bowl? Now that would be irresponsible. Everyone shares the wishes/desires that this had gone more quickly. That includes him and the rest of management.
On the day of the pure crap law firm announcement, we were 1.38 and poised to blow past 1.50 that day (my opinion). Since you like to ask questions, maybe you can answer one. With that in mind, how is the news priced in at 1.21? Thanks in advance.
At this point in time, if you are still in this stock, you had better be pretty aware of the story and what is right on the cusp of happening. You either believe that DHS is about to issue the final qualifier for passenger or you don't (and if you don't, I advise you to run, not walk, away from this because you don't belong here). What happened yesterday was pure crap, and anyone should have been able to see it within seconds of reading the "PR" released by those clowns. Even the timing should have been obvious to anyone paying attention. Good news on the way, stock humming, uh oh. We better put out some BS to derail this so we can at least cover a good portion. So, in conclusion, you say you feel for people. I'll say this. If you've been in this for a while, and it has required an iron stomach some times, and you gave away (yes gave away) your shares yesterday at .95 or whatever, based on that nonsense, you deserve what you get. Can't put it any other way.
marv777 - nobody could think straight while everyone was waiting for Lebron's decision.
I listened to the whole thing. Tempted to ask a question but I was in a foul mood and kept quiet. Here's mine in retrospect. Another quarter of "We're so happy with all of the strides we've made, we're in position yadda yadda", is $2.7 million good/acceptable to you at this juncture? I'm serious, is it good performance as measured by the people at the top of this company? The guy who asked questions for an extended period asked about the inexplicable share price in the face of all our so called victories "Today we were named the ETD of choice for the Rockland School for Unwed Mothers". Did he get an answer? Apparently, people all over the world will not buy (really buy) until we get TSA passenger qualification. Qualification has now been moved back past 6/30. What is going to happen to our share price now with that news that the only thing that will drive this will not and cannot happen before 6/30? Long, holding, but not happy.
Just because I plan to hold doesn't mean I have to smile being served another sh@t sandwich.
I sure hope the ETD with the CTO of TSA didn't lose its' inhibitions after drinking and come down with an STD. That would be problematic.
Richer of course. ;)
Tomorrow begins a new week and , although none of us knows the timing for certain, we are all one week closer.
I wasn't here in 2011 when they apparently entered into another of these. Any guess on shareprice reaction?
I'd have to be a No. Makes no sense to do the $20 million financing, does it? Also, a sale now will not maximize the buyout price, being before the TSA approval etc. I don't think they've gone through all of these motions for a cheap buyout. I just don't see it right now. Possible it's a quiet period for something else? Like the TSA approval is in the report writing stage(?) My guess is we are not in one for any reason. Close, but no.
Ret General McInerney just stated on Fox that Boeing, Rolls Royce and the US have more info on the plane location than they are letting on. Says he believes it is in Pakistan or Iran and said the next 24 to 48 hours should have some big revelations. Makes sense with Israel saying they are ramping up their air defenses.
I looked up exactly what you did to try to see if there's a difference between then, December, and now. Your stats are correct. But we are now 80 days closer to the inevitable passenger qualification (you do believe it's inevitable, no?). And we have the March 5 TSA solicitation which even detractors would have to admit opens the door for one company and one company only. And that would be us. I think we know the top TSA guy visited with the Canadians. Sans everything else, I could see somebody saying "So what". But with everything else, I view it as one more significant factor. The Commerce Dept invites Bolduc to speak at the White House along side 4 or 5 heavy hitter companies. I guess logic makes me ask, is the US government going to waste this much time with a small company from Mass. if they have no intention of doing business with them? Last question. This coming week, do we hold Friday's gain, add to it, or fall back to the 70's? I really don't care about the short term movement because I think the show begins when we get the qualification. And make no mistake, we are getting it. I am looking forward to the day, and it's coming, where a day like Friday is just the beginning.
I'm not sure that 12 would be enough for a place like MSG. They really don't open the gates until maybe 35 minutes before the games and almost every Rangers or Knicks game is a sellout, 18,000. You look at a place like Metlife Stadium, Giants Stadium to us, with 80,000 having to go through in a short period of time. If you are not to the gate by 12:30, you are missing the kickoff at 1PM due to the security. The Wings have been really hurt by the losses of Zetterberg and Datsyuk. Not sure they can overcome it. If you are near Buffalo, sad news out today about Jim Kelly. Hope he can fight it.
I don't really see any league mandating one product vs another. With that said, as a frequent visitor to Madison Square Garden, there are probably as many as 15 wands that they currently use to detect metals (I'm guessing because I have no idea what they are looking for). Could be more. This is for an 18,000 person arena. A "few" is not a possibility here, not to mention an 80,000 football stadium. At two recent Rangers games, there were dogs in the area just past the initial wand detectors, I'm sure to sniff for explosives. Security for Sunday's Rangers/Red Wings game was extremely tight. Everyone patted down. So, even if it's not a league wide mandate, getting a nice stable of stadiums would be huge. And now, since my account showed a nice fat green today, there is some Johnny Blue in my near future.
Neither of us is privy to what TSA expects/wants with regard to this. I'm sure McGann is and had something to say in this regard. Let me emphasize I am not completely happy either. There are some here who will say everything is completely rosy. Then, there are those like you, and I'll apologize in advance, who seem unable to see anything good. The truth lies somewhere in between. I'll repeat this is now a play for TSA qualification followed by and IDIQ. If it happens, everything else falls into place. If it doesn't, big big trouble. I believe it will happen, hence I stay in. Peace. Gotta hit the highway and a long commute.
I wasn't in this a couple of years ago so your point about the public offering to pay off the debt seems to have some merit. With that said, I'm sure there was a good reason they didn't go that route. But regarding the 80 employees, you have to realize that they have to give TSA a comfort level that they can deliver if they are selected to provide our product(s). I don't know for sure that that was the reason why the Sanders guy and the Canadians visited recently, but I'm betting it was. And if it came out next month that the reason we didn't get the IDIQ was that we only had 35 employees and couldn't produce, you'd pop a vein screaming where was the foresight? Bolduc should have ramped up to get the IDIQ and he didn't. Run him out of town. You can't have it all ways. Some here still think this is an opportunity to sell all over the world etc and the sky's the limit blah blah blah. I think we are down to TSA qualification followed by an IDIQ and any other scenario and we are in major trouble for survival. It has come down to that. And if you don't have the stomach for it (not directed at you but to people in general) you really should not be in this right now. Just my opinion. I appreciate all the posters because I do like to read/hear all angles in forming my opinions.
$500 million is worse yet but makes my point all the more. I would think that TSA checkpoint qualification and an IDIQ contract would open doors to a refinancing of the debt from the private sector as well. The risk will be substantially diminished.
If the dopes could give Solyndra $75 million, a product that saves US lives should be worthy.
