AAL debt is 33 Billion now that is insane. So looks like there borrowing money to buy back their stock
Just look at the stock price. We all can try to will it higher believe me I have tried AAL has more debt then the other 3 combined. Remember when DAL and AAL were almost the same price.
Seems like it hasn't done a thing. I think 10 billion of the debt would have been better.
I do not think it helps at all. If they were retiring the stock that would mean something
I truly need to dump this stock......
Why such a large drop??
About time
On February 12, 2019, in accordance with approval granted by the Bankruptcy Court, there was distributed from the Disputed Claims Reserve an
aggregate of approximately 17.3 million AAL Shares. These shares were distributed as follows:
• Former holders of common stock of AMR Corporation (formerly traded under the symbol: “AAMRQ”) were distributed approximately
0.0432 AAL Shares for each share of AAMRQ previously held;
• Former holders of AMR Corporation’s 6.25% Convertible Senior Notes due 2014 (“2014 Notes”) that elected under the Plan to be treated
You know its still crazy!! AAL has more Debt than DAL and UAL combined.
Thanks, mystockpk2 It was around 24 Billion so that explains the increase
I don't know they bought a bunch of stock back and that's been money is thrown away it seems. How many Billions have they bought back? Just my .02cents
For the life of me, I don't understand why AAL keeps increasing there debt.
Balance Sheet
Total Cash (mrq) 4.76B
Total Cash Per Share (mrq) 10.34
Total Debt (mrq) 34.29B
I'm amazed we haven't gone red yet
I don't think they would do that. Look at Elon Musk just my.02c. Sell your stock Ralph so it goes back up in value
AAL is always down when the numbers come out
We might make less or we might make more? so the stock is down 10%
green lol
I blame Ralph Canine for AAL stock going down so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
your nuts lol
late March is my .02C
My guess everyone will get less than 8% of the amount of their last distribution.
So what do you think I think it will go to the board will not be this year
25 Billion in debt... tons of new aircraft orders for better fuel efficiency and fuel cost down.
Didn't we all have a post on when we thought we would get the distribution a year or two ago? Would love to see what we were all guessing
So once again the employees of AAL are F#cked over
This might seem crazy but low jet fuel is not good for the airlines. Think of jet fuel like your blood pressure.
it will stop at zero
I see AAL going to 34 again if not lower......
It's still the same problem with AAL 24 Billion in debt. I remember when UAL and DAL were within a dollar of AAL. Hell, I had some save 36 bucks and sold it and now it's over 63. Its been a great ride guys but we have been dead in the water for a long time
I down to about 25 percent of my original shares AAL is the worst Airline stock to own.
Down we go again
You will only get the distribution if you mailed in the flyer. The deadline was yesterday
Down again lol
How do you figure?
I would not touch it
GE will most likely file bankruptcy way too much debt and pension obligations.
years and years
I can't explain what's happing. There might be some really bad news coming out..
