Have no idea.
See some support in the low .50's from previous trading.
No response from the co. or IR to the phone message I left and emails I sent.
Weird.
jonesie
LOL, isn't that always the way?
Drops like this are more fun if I can play, so far no luck at getting any < 1.40.
jonesie
hangdog, thx .. mid-Oct eh?
I'm planning on spending a week in West Palm Beach sometime later this year, just haven't booked it yet. I just googled the distance, 129 mi. from there to Ft. Myers. That could work. Wish they'd announce so I could book it LOL.
Thanks again for recounting your conversation, sounds good.
jonesie
Anybody trying to buy here or a tad higher?
I've had an order in for eons at 1.35 and no dice.
Uh, did I say 1.35?
Yes, I did.
jonesie
Saw one on the list, TXHE
in some spam snail-mail that came 2 days ago LOL
jonesie
zacked, re: gap, yeah I suppose there is one that would need .328 to fill it.
jonesie
re: TS and "I think most of them have lacked clarity."
Of course they do, that is intentional and will not change. Over time TS's updates have tended to become less clear.
Wiggle room.
jonesie
Echoing jagman, thanks for pointing that out. ;)
I've got ABEW on a watch list too but didn't check the chart this morning, or over the last few days. Had an uptrend line plotted that today sat at .47, which ABEW touched before taking off. I've been wanting to buy when it got there, shouldacouldawoulda. Wish I'd looked at it sometime in the last few days.
Obviously the news didn't leak out much, W%R was sitting at 100 at the close yesterday.
I had a downtrend line plotted that today sits at .7219. ABEW didn't break it obviously, but it's only been one day.
Ideas on tomorrow anyone?
jonesie
OT: Hey duuuuuuude, how would we know? I'm missing about 5 years in there somewhere.
On another note, from yesterday:
"Robert A. Moog, whose self-named synthesizers turned electric currents into sound and opened the musical wave that became electronica, has died. He was 71. ... The popularity of the synthesizer and the success of the company named for Moog took off in rock as extended keyboard solos in songs by Manfred Mann, Yes and Pink Floyd (and Emerson Lake and Palmer) became part of the progressive sound of the 1970s."
jonesie
OT: penny
One of my fav old groups, Led Zep. Right next to Pink Floyd.
Why does my name remind you of them?
jonesie
p.s. yeah, as much as I would have loved some more at .25, up from here would be okay too, I have a heart and I hate to think of all those who would sell on the way to .25.
Green, cool. eom
Hope I got the last of the .313's, nope, I see someone got some after me.
Looks like they might not take it down to .25, at least not now, I need more shares anyway LOL
jonesie
success:
That lower trendline is up to .2468 now. Lots of support there from all the trading in the first 3 months of the year.
Not sure they can take it there but they sure seem to want to. I kindasorta want them to too, but I wish they'd do it really fast and bounce back up LOL, this way has been painful.
jonesie
welcome back SOG, keep it up, thx. EOM
Back in mid-December NEOM hit HEAVY resistance right around .30, actually .305 to .31. This has turned into some good support (as resistance ofttimes does) like we saw on June 22 and again today.
This has probably already been mentioned and if so, sorry for being redundant.
jonesie
p.s. Still won't be surprised if "they" slam NEOM down to ~ .25, that's my lower trendline and that's where we spent 2 1/2 months in January into March so there is some GOOD support there also. All that .07 talk is silly IMHO, very silly.
One above the ask and one below the bid.
So, even harder to say than usual LOL
jonesie
NITE at .32, SCHB at .315
Make that 4.2 mill.
Still, I really do think it's a walkdown, shaking the tree to see what falls out.
They can always shake harder too.
jonesie
Interesting to see how few shares actually drop it a half cent at a time.
As few as 1000 shares take it the next half cent down ... then of course many shares trade at that level ... it stabilizes ... then 5000 to 27,000 shares take it down another half cent ... looks like a walkdown to me, assisted by those getting out before they perceive it might go lower.
Fairly easy to see on a 1-minute chart.
JMHO
jonesie
moxa, why would you assume that?
I have added substantially on every large dip, buying more than I should, and selling the overage at my estimated peak. As a result I have 10x more shares now than I had on 2/1/05 when I first bought NEOM and although I am in the red on my overall cost basis I am perfectly happy to continue in this fashion throughout NEOM's unfolding "story".
If I had traded purely on my charting and at highs/lows that I posted, I would be very very green overall but my plan here includes the basic thinking that NEOM is going to be a huge success and have share prices in the $2 to $5 range at the least.
Good luck and be ready.
jonesie
"Means nothing however..."
I always thought that it means someone thinks that current prices will look good one day down the road.
As to "already losing money" I hope everyone here isn't in the "I'd better be green after my purchase" mode.
Agreed, without news lower could be in the cards, I've been saying that for 2 or 3 weeks now, and defining the target.
jonesie
zacked, if that DOES happen, I have been saying the drop should be to a trendline that sits today ~0.2446.
Waiting at .25, if I have to endure the "pain" I plan to GAIN.
JMHO
jonesie
"with a 280,000 sell"
And nobody bought those?

chartist re: TA classes based on NEOM charts
Consider what has been done with GlobeTel, a "regular" board and a TA board.
From what I read IHUB allowed the 2 boards as long as there was no crossposting or something like that. Many posters post on both and derive benefit from both boards. Probably some info in the Board Info or I-Box section explaining, I'm in a tear right now or I'd look.
Regular board:
http://www.investorshub.com/boards/board.asp?board_id=1871
TA board:
http://www.investorshub.com/boards/board.asp?board_id=3694
Just a possible option to consider.

Count me in Chartist!
Can't learn enough about TA IMO.
Good work.

Success, yes, still above the 200SMA eom
chartist:
Never meant to imply that your chart isn't accurate, I see that it is.
I have however wondered aloud (and as yet have received no firm answer from anyone on other boards) as to whether the employment of plotted-in trendlines should dictate the use of log scale or normal price scale in the interest of best outcomes and validity.
For myself I have always used normal scale since it extrapolates out into the future in linear fashion rather than applying the log scale to the plotted-in trendlines.
Maybe I'll email Gary B. The Chartman and ask ;)
Agreed, NEOM broke a trendline today so far, on my chart it's a middle trendline though, it sat at .3621 today.
I feel more "comfy" actually having that lower trendline down there ~ .25 as opposed to having nothing "chartable" below the 200SMA. (And I realize there are other support levels but that's where I run into some personal charting weaknesses on NEOM, not sure where they are LOL, anybody? Beuler?)
As I've said before I wouldn't be surprised to see "them" take advantage of the timeline and any "fear" or capital preservation or whatever to do a quick slam down to that lower trendline and right back up, like they did in early April ... on "my" chart.
Yep, we'll see. As always, news will trump TA.
Best regards,
jonesie
Tri-Valley Adds Technical Staff
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PRNewswire
2:31 p.m. 08/19/2005
BAKERSFIELD, Calif., Aug 19, 2005 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Tri-Valley Corporation (TIV) has added two geologists and an engineer as part of a larger build up of technical staff related to expanded drilling and production opportunities.
After previously serving the Company's operating subsidiary, Tri-Valley Oil & Gas Co., as consultants, geologists Paul Hacker and Myron Tiede and engineer Ron Brown have converted to employees making them eligible for the Company's benefit plan including stock options.
"With our corporate mission statement being 'to increase the value and liquidity of Tri-Valley shares' we like to see all employees on the same page as our other shareholders so that their reward comes from focusing their efforts and results on adding value to the stock," said F. Lynn Blystone, president and chief executive officer of Tri-Valley Corporation.
All three will report to Tri-Valley Oil & Gas Co. president, Joseph R. Kandle, who continues to search for additional technical staff to exploit the growing opportunities being acquired by the Company.
"We have three producing properties for very significant re-exploitation using advanced techniques and are permitting new wells in behalf of our Opus Drilling Program as we speak. Each of these producing properties is a company unto itself and will need their own engineer/geologist team to rapidly exploit them in a manner that will transform our Company," Kandle said.
Tri-Valley is also continuing to evaluate other properties for acquisition as it strives to rapidly increase the underlying productive assets of the Company and will be exploring major geologic targets for exponential gain.
"We look for extraordinary growth through the drill bit and are undergirding that with re-exploitation properties to provide exceptional rewards overall for our shareholders and drilling partners, and are building a team of seasoned professionals to assure those results," Blystone said.
Chartist:
I don't think the fear level has peaked, for a couple of reasons.
If your log scale chart is the way to do it, we're close to the lower trendline now. And the 200SMA.
If my normal scale chart is the way to do it, we've got a ways to go to that lower trendline, sitting a hair under .25 today.
Coincidentally, $0.25 +/- $0.025 is where the single highest number of shares in NEOM has changed hands in the last 12 months, with 284,000,000 shares traded in that range.
Of course if you go back another 12 months you find 2 billion shares changing hands in lower price ranges.
Idle comments for an idle moment.
jonesie
juststocks, I mean I couldn't see HIS chart
embedded in the message.
Just a red X in a little box.
Wonder why. I can always see the stockcharts chartist and others post.
jonesie
Hmmm, I don't see it. Just a red X in a little box.
Well my buddy is going to be tickled ...
He loaded up at 1.15 (a day early) but he may have gotten more at a lower price yesterday.
Good for him :)
jonesie
Just because you're paranoid ...
it doesn't mean they're not watching you.
OT zacked:
I told my son he might be around then, I read that we're about 20 years away from being able to inject nanorobots into bloodstreams to repair all sorts of damage in joints, organs, etc and from that point on physical life might be indefinitely prolonged ... so, just gotta make it another 20 years ... and have plenty of dough, I'm sure they won't be cheap nanorobots lol.
jonesie
How about that ...
Bounced right off that lower uptrendline.
Be nice to bust through that downtrend line at 2.11 on some volume, eh?
jonesie
plkc, just "spectating" and learning (I hope)
You guys are all better than me in penny stocks (I'm relatively new to pennies) so I'll probably say something dumb.
Does the old maxim "3 days in play take your pay" apply as often to pennies as it does in stocks listed on major exchanges?
That has served me well on many quick runs in stocks.
jonesie
Chartist:
Using my "normal" price scale chart (vs your logarithmic scale) I have the downtrend line sitting today at .3827 and the uptrend line sitting at .3574.
(Of course those two lows in early April have been excluded from that line as outliers, perhaps a mistake on my part.)
Sooner or later NEOM has to break one of those lines LOL, they will intersect before long.
jonesie
p.s. Still half-expecting "them" to slam NEOM down to that lower trendline again briefly, like they did in early April, currently that sits at .2406. Hope they don't, that would be "cold" ;)
