Pre...Good Point & Idea. It would get them in a tizzy wouldn't it? It would work for a while for most. But they'll just keep ignoring the facts much like they do now. However your idea would probably stop quite a large number of them though, as most of the anti's are just drones & clones.

Gorbachev Reborn
Phil Brennan
Saturday, March 10, 2001
Mikhail Gorbachev may be on the comeback trail in his native
Russia, meeting with President Vladimir Putin and voicing support
for many of his policies, but he's been prominent on the international
scene, promoting what amounts to a Marxist version of world
government.
Last August, for example, Gorbachev set foot in his old Kremlin
office for the first time in 10 years for a private conversation with the
Russian president. Since then, the two men have met again on
several occasions.
A March 2 radio broadcast in Moscow reported: "The fanfare
surrounding former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev's 70th birthday
is a public sign that Gorbachev's national comeback may be under
way. A political pariah during the Boris Yeltsin years, Gorbachev is
now enjoying renewed popularity and may even be looking to
refashion himself as an informal adviser to President Vladimir Putin."
As a director of NTV, Russia's only private TV station, Gorbachev
has access to something of a bully pulpit, and even though the
station is now threatened with a government takeover by the Putin
government, Gorbachev has been outspoken in his support of the
president, indicating that Putin might not be fully aware of the steps
being taken against the station, such as the freezing of its parent
company's bank accounts and raids on the home office by armed
tax police.
"Does Putin know about all this?" he asked. "We have to help the
president so that he is working in accordance with the mandate he
got from the people and not according to the [debt] contracts signed
by some companies. I think this is our common responsibility."
There have been rumors in the Russian media that he may be
invited to become part of the Putin administration, perhaps as
foreign minister. He has denied them but they persist.
In the meantime, he has taken up many of Putin’s main themes,
such as opposition to the Bush administration's plans for a national
missile defense (NMD) system.
"I think they have not thought it out very well," he told an interviewer.
"As a politician, I think this is a harmful move because it will give an
impetus to the arms race. How can America create security for itself
whereas the rest of the world is left to its own devices? No country
in the world is capable of doing this. If this is true, then a question
arises why billions have to be spent on such projects."
He expressed support of Putin's opposition to expansion of NATO
and, sounding like Hillary Clinton, blamed the vast right-wing
conspiracy for suggestions that the Cold War is being re-ignited.
"I do not think that the right-wing forces who are already talking about
a new Cold War are right. I do not think they are right. I must say that
there is some reaction in the U.S.A. to what had been said wrongly
and scared the world earlier."
He warned that "Moscow would not stand by idly if plans went ahead
for the Baltic states of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia to join NATO."
Moscow, he said, had no part in the plan, which was "even directed
against Russia. It is replete with danger. Russia is sure to retaliate."
But Gorbachev has been far from the invisible man on the world
stage, where he has proven himself to be an unrepentant Marxist
bent on socializing the world under the banners of ecology and
globalism.
His Gorbachev Foundation has allied itself with environmentalist
groups and pushed for an expanded United Nations that sees the
U.N. moving into the power position that opened up at the close of
the Cold War. During a press conference at the New York Hilton
Towers, Gorbachev proposed a radical expansion of U.N. powers.
Speaking at a so-called State of the World Forum, a six-year project
of the Gorbachev Foundation headquartered in San Francisco, he
proposed a radical expansion of U.N. powers.
"In 1988, I spoke of a new role for the U.N., a new body," he told the
Forum. "In addition to the Security Council, we must have an
Economic Council and an Environmental Council with authority
equal to that of the Security Council."
According to correspondent Mary Jo Anderson: "The former Russian
premier denied that he was proposing controls on economic
freedom but insisted, "I am suggesting that we must give rights to
this body [Economic Council] to develop rules to prevent explosive
situations." One observer questioned whether this proposal was not
simply an upscale version of Marxist central economic control.
"Gorbachev went on to explain that as unregulated capitalism
globalized world markets, failure of smaller economies brought
recessions, and rioting in the streets is the likely consequence. An
"Economic Council" with the power to regulate capital is designed to
"insure stability" and "ultimately transnational corporations will have
to accept this," Gorbachev said.
"As the Forum – scheduled to coincide with the main event, the
U.N.'s Millennium Summit – moved into its third day, it became clear
in successive sessions that each speaker had a new angle on the
same idea: The United Nations should coordinate global
governance.
"Some speakers focused on environmental governance, others on
educational efforts aimed at producing citizens with a commitment
to global peace and justice. Global governance seeks stable world
conditions so as to ensure the rights of humanity to clean air, stable
markets and personal rights. Of course, some mechanism of
enforcement is required if the rights of all are to be protected, say
Forum participants."
Speaker after speaker reiterated the theme: Global government
under a re-invigorated (and thoroughly Marxist) U.N.
"Good globalism is a reshaped globalism, stripped of the
'Washington consensus' of Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher,"
said John Sweeney, president of the AFL-CIO, a co-panelist with
Gorbachev and Canadian billionaire and militant atheist George
Soros. "Corporate globalism," he said, "brought inequality between
nations" and a "violation of human rights."
Introduced to the 500 Forum attendees as "the quintessential voice
of globalism," Soros was blunt in his assessment of American
corporations and the Republican-controlled U.S. Congress.
They "are not a good example of 'compassionate conservatism'," he
said. Opposed to the U.S. desire to reduce the scope of the troubled
International Monetary Fund, Soros claimed, "that is not the
solution."
A New York physician attending the Gorbachev-sponsored forum
told Anderson he was "stunned and angry" at the overt
anti-American sentiment that he felt characterized several of the
presentations.
"Most Americans have no clue what is happening in New York right
now," he commented. "Don't they know that other nations have the
most to gain and Americans the most to lose if these proposals are
ever adopted?"
Under his global Green Cross International (GCI) group, Gorbachev
is promoting the so-called Earth Charter, a blueprint for world
governance that would direct the course of the lives of people from
cradle to grave.
According to his Web site (http://www.mikhailgorbachev.org):
"The Earth Charter serves as a universal code of conduct to guide
people and nations towards a sustainable future. In participation with
the Earth Council and other like-minded organizations worldwide,
GCI is contributing to the further development of the Earth Charter
through a global participatory process. GCI is working to have the
Earth Charter endorsed by the United Nations through regional
seminars, national hearings, and an interactive drafting effort."
Having presided over the collapse of the Soviet Union and its drive to
impose socialism on the entire world, Gorbachev is now taking a
different path toward the same destination. Allied with the likes of
George Soros and the international green movement, and lavishly
financed, he plows forward toward his dream of a Marxist utopia.

Pre...HAR!!!!!!!! Thanks! EOM
Pre...Well Said, Good Post! EOM
Pre...Great Poem! I didn't have to read the whole thing, as I have read it many, many times before. Thanks for posting it; it is truly a great poem to have posted here.
It does say an awful lot about what is truly wrong & missing in our society today.
Sad But True,
Onebgg
GP...I must admit, I never caught on to your handle. I should have, I've wanted to buy a GP100 for as long as I have owned my SP101. Ruger makes a damn fine Revolver, however I have not been impressed with their semi-autos.
I too am rather found of the Ruger 10/22, it is a very good little rifle. I can hit targets with it all day long. I have the Ram-Line synthetic stock, the quick-release magazine button, a Simmons 10/22-3x9 Scope on it. What a bargain for the quality & fun this rifle brings me. I have our good buddy Pre here at GUNS/BARMII for turning me on to this great little bargain. He let me shoot his, that's all it took to sell me on it. The fact that Ruger has that great little 10 round rotary magazine, and that they are only about $10.00 a piece is a Very Big Plus as well.
I Can't Wait To Get The New 10/22 Mag Model,
Onebgg
Pre...Darn I'm glad you dropped by. Very Good Post Buddy! I have been trying to figure that out myself, but then it hit me. We are thinking like mature & intelligent people, and as individuals. That's part of our problem, people as individuals seam get more and more ignorant as the number of their group grows. Therefore all we have to do is stop them from gathering as groups. LOL!!!!!!!!! I'm just funnin' ya bud.
You are absolutely correct though; but the Anti's will just say; "there you go again using that same old car analogy". They say this because they know it makes since, and they don't have defense against it.
I have been watching my guns Real Close, And They Have Yet To Move On Their Own! However I will keep looking, just in case one does. HAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If a gun could think and act on it's own, and thereby be able to kill on it's own. Who in the H-E-L-L would want one anywhere near them? Not I; And I Am A Gun Nut!
Using The Gray Matter,
Onebgg
Papajos...Sadly! IMHO, today, a very large part of Americans do apparently derive their opinions from the Boob-Tube. This I find to be very heart breaking, as well as disappointing and quite scary.
Wake Up America!
Onebgg
Papajos...Darn Glad To See You Here!!! I can understand why you do not want the "Firstdegree A-holes" here. But they are the very ones we need to 'turn on' to the Truth & Reality of the situation here in America.
In Fact; some of our very best Second Amendment Pro-Rights activist, were in fact once very staunch Anti's. So therefore as mad as I get these people, they are in fact the very people we need get our message of Truth to. Of course this all, JMHO!
The Fight To Remain Free Will Always Be!
Onebgg
William...You're a good Man & American Citizen; IMHO!!! EOM
GP/Colt & All...If Matt could get this feature going. Maybe we could vote on a pic of the month, or something like that. Of course I would like see it be a Guns or RKBA orientated pic.
Just Thinking,
Onebgg
GP100357..."Welcome To My World", Seriously though, Great Post!!! I'm glad you see the Danger that is in front of us, they (The Anti's) are so close that I am still very concerned at the lack of the general public to see what is so very clear. If they do not believe it can happen, they simply need to look at world history. Freedom is an everlasting & ongoing battle.
"History is a vast early warning system." - Norman Cousins
Onebgg
GP/Colt...I can think of many I would like to see. I have a pretty good pic' of my pair of Walther P99's opposing each other, one of the guns has the Optional Laser that was available for it, they are setting on a light burgundy terrycloth towel. I also have a nice picture of my Sig Sauer 229, and in the photo just for fun is my Comp' .357SIG barrel by Olympic Arms and a Single Black Talon .40 cal cartridge.
I Was Just Playing Around With The Camera One Day,
Onebgg
Hey Matt! I'm sure digging this edit feature; I look a lot more intelligent now! LOL!!!!! Seriously though, I have only used it twice now, but it is way cool!
BTW; how do I appoint Matey & NYC as my: "Board Members""
In New Territory,
Onebgg
NYC...Thanks, I'm sure all of my good buddies at GUNS/BARMSII & New & Improved SWAMP had a lot to do with it. BTW; I still have not figured out how to appoint my "Board Members", which I believe you know I want to be Matey & You.
Still Bumping Around In Our New Home,
Onebgg
GP/Colt...Or a nice SP101, or perhaps a pair of Walther P99's! EOM
Expatriate...Thanks for the tips on the steel jacketed Russian-made ammo. EOM
Expatriate...Very Good Post & Points! Most today cannot, and will not see the truth that is so plainly there, for them to see.
It is very evident to those who care to look at the facts with an objective view, and not as an American Puppet, one who believe that their government would never, and could never turn their back on their citizenry. All they have to do is quite being lead around by the propaganda driven media that easily rules most of our lives today, and then when they do, not run back and hide in the delusional word of being American Puppet again.
I remember how disillusioned I became when I first started to question, and then look at the facts. It's not easy to admit that you have been fooled, and brainwashed. At first it can be very depressing, but then the power of awareness becomes very strong. That is when you become a Real American, one that is like our Forefathers were. One that is not deceived by the blinders of those that want to remove our freedom and thus end our very individualism. One that not only sees the enemy, but fights it back in order to Remain Free!
People have always fought for freedom, because our enemy has always wanted to remove it. The fight has, and always will be here. The only thing new in this fight is the great media campaign to convince us that there is no fight for our continued freedom, or a danger of us losing it. The day we lose our Second Amendment Rights will be the very day our other rights disappear, because with out an armed citizenry, we cannot defend ourselves.
I don't understand how come the anti's cannot see this. They should ask themselves; How Many Free Nations Exist Without An Armed Citizenry? Crime has nothing to do with it; the fact that crime the rates are so high where the guns laws are the strictest, kind of ends that argument. IMHO, most anti's are thinking with their hearts and not their gray matter, and that's the way the anti's want it, and designed it.
SORRY FOR THE RANT! I just got on a roll, so I'll sign off now.
"...for it is a truth, which the experience of all ages has attested, that the people are commonly most in danger when the means of ensuring their rights are in the possession of those whom they entertain the least suspicion." - Alexander Hamilton
Onebgg
Expatriate...Darn Glad you made it here. Please feel free to drop in on us as much as possible. Tell your friends about us here. I hope this become the our new home soon.
BTW; you can "rant" here any time you wish. You are so very correct; "The Game Is Afoot[/I]", and we are running out of time. IMHO, most don't understand Just How Close We Are To Losing Our Freedom. If lose our second amendment rights, we will quickly lose our very freedom.
"The strongest reason for people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government." - Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334 (C.J.Boyd, Ed. 1950)
Onebgg
Matt...Llike Col,t I too would like to know how to do it.
Gun Nut,
Onebgg
Colt...I really am quite jealous of your Brother. I wish I had his problem. But then again it not be a problem for me, as I would never sell them.
I Just Can Never Get Enough Of That Stuff,
Onebgg
Colt...That's funny you should mention that, I quit going to theaters because I got tired of the little fella's playing with my One-Big-Butt when I passed by as I was going: "out into the isle because he has to go get more butter covered popcorn every 5 minutes[/i[] HAR!!!!!!!!!!! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't resist, I kid ya bud.
The Misses & I prefer to watch the stuff at home as well. We have a pretty nice audio/video stack and a pretty fancy 36 inch TV. So we wait for the DVD. We also like the fact that we can pause the thing when we need to and not miss the big surprise while easing water pressure. Plus at theatres you can't 'party while watching the movie. Besides, the DVD's get released pretty darn quick now.
Always Butter, Never Margarine,
Onebgg
Paule...It should have served as an example, an example of just how much they do not care about them, (the little guy; US!). However I don't think that came through.
Reality Bites; That's Why Most Ignore It,
Onebgg
Colt...Glad you liked it. EOM
Colt...Like I Say; Spread The & Be Heard! EOM
Colt...I'ma very serious dan rather 'hater'. EOM
Colt...That would be nice, I have other gun photo's as well that I would like to post. I get 7 gun mags a month, and it would be nice to share some of the info along with a photo.
RB would really freak, that's for sure.
It's My Hobby; It's Our Right!
Onebgg
OT: Colt...The NBA is all about the money for sure. If Shaq & Colby were on a small town team, they would have to play a better game, and you can bet they wouldn't get as many fouls to go their way.
As I said, 'Sheed should play with a muzzle, but in all fairness they can't wait to give him fouls. If there were a fair court for such things, you would see that only about a third should have been called in the first place, and this is what sets the quite immature 'Sheed off in the first place. Most of the time it is not even over a foul called on him. He is just pointing out that the officials are full of bull-pucky and it shows. The NBA plays the media on this in much the same manner as the anti's play the media. I'm not just sticking up for Portland. I have friends near the floor, and friends who work there, and they say the same things the radio stations say here. We all know Rasheed needs to grow up, and we all know he needs to shut the 'muck' up. However, the facts are that No Team in the NBA is hit with amount of pure bulls-hit fouls called on them. You don't hear about this because everybody keeps playing up the Rasheed angle.
What really gets me upset is that I believe we can beat anybody most of the time, even with all the bad calls, we have the talent. But Rasheed gets the refs in a freakin' foul frenzy', and then the players lose their heart; this is pure bull! If would keep playing above all the bad calls, which we have proven we can, the refs would have to give up eventually. JMHO
Bottom Line; IMHO If this team were in LA, NY, or any of the other top market, we would have our ring, even with Rasheed.
Not Just I'm A Die Hard Blazer Nut,
Onebgg
Colt...I hope he tells ya, I would like to know myself. I think a photo gallery for guns would be cool. I was thinking about posting some photos of some of my personal collection.

Kids and Guns: the Real Solutions
by Jon Roland
Once again school shootings revive the old question of how to prevent
children from misusing firearms.
The first and most important thing we can do is to not give such intense
news coverage of such misuse. The single most important factor contributing
to the misuse of firearms by children are news reports that reward such
behavior with a lot of attention.
The second thing we need to do is make sure all children's needs for
favorable attention are met. If children get too little of the right kind of
attention, or too much of the wrong kind, they are likely to become
dangerous to themselves and others.
The third thing we need to do is provide proper guidance in the proper use
of firearms. Merely lecturing kids not to do the wrong things with them
won't work. Kids have to be shown, and shown often.
I grew up with firearms. There was no question of not handling them. I was
taught how to use them properly as soon as I was physically capable of
holding one. All of the adults around me handled and used firearms, and made
sure to do it properly, and to call my attention to how they were using
them. I was taught how to always point a firearm in a safe direction, how to
load, unload, and check a firearm to see if it was loaded. Handling a
firearm was always treated as a solemn occasion, almost like going to
church. There was no question of playing with one, even of playing cops and
robbers or cowboys and Indians using one's hand to simulate a gun. The only
question was how to avoid having to shoot one at a person unless there was
no other alternative. Even hunting was treated as a solemn occasion, and we
thanked God and the animal we shot for the gift of its meat, buried the
parts we couldn't use, and treated the animal with respect even when it was
dead.
So it was not considered remarkable when I was given a .22LR rifle for my
sixth birthday and a .22LR handgun for my eighth. I was expected to use the
firearms responsibly, and I did.
Finally, there was one last element of my upbringing. I learned to ignore
peer pressure, and prefer the company of adults. In my contacts with other
children, I always played the role of an adult, and never the role of
another child, regardless of the age of the other child. The notion that
children need to socialize with other children as children is absurd.

High school shooting and car massacre: Ultimate proof of media's anti-
gun bias?
WASHINGTON, DC -- The media's anti-gun bias is showing loud and
clear this week as the latest high school shooting (two dead in
California) is plastered all over every front page in America -- while
last week's murderous college car rampage (four dead in California) was
virtually ignored, charge Libertarians.
"A disturbed 15-year-old California high school student kills
two classmates with a gun, and it's front-page news and around-the-
clock TV coverage," said George Getz, the Libertarian Party's press
secretary. "Last week, a disturbed 19-year-old California college
student kills four classmates with a car, and it's a minor blurb in
newspapers and a 10-second clip on the news.
"What's the explanation for this, unless journalists are almost
100% opposed to the Second Amendment -- and eager to jump on any
opportunity to demonize guns and exploit gun-related tragedies, while
ignoring other, equally horrific, crimes?"
On Monday, a 15-year-old boy opened fire on his classmates in
Santee, California, killing two and injuring 13 others at the Santana
High School.
The suspect, Charles Andrew Williams, was described as a
"scrawny" kid who had been picked on by bullies. Over the previous
weekend, he had joked about shooting up his school.
The story made the front page of almost every major American
newspaper, was the lead item on the nightly network news, and is
generating around-the-clock discussion on cable TV networks. The crime
also prompted new demands to restrict or outlaw guns.
Meanwhile, on February 26, a 19-year-old student at the
University of California at Santa Barbara plowed his car -- traveling
at 60 miles an hour -- into a crowd of college students in Isla Vista,
killing four and critically injuring one.
The suspect, David Attias, shouted, "I'm the angel of death!"
as he was taken away from the scene. He was described by fellow
students as troubled, and was known in his dormitory as "Crazy Dave."
That story was relegated to the inside of most newspapers, and
generated scant attention on network or cable news shows. The crime
prompted no demands to restrict or outlaw automobiles.
Why was one a major story in the eyes of journalists -- and the
other an afterthought? The only plausible explanation is media bias,
said Getz.
"Journalists are taught to revere the First Amendment, but most
appear to scorn the Second Amendment," he said. "So they use their
First Amendment rights to slant and distort the news to attack the
Second Amendment.
"As America rightfully mourns the two dead students in Santee
while unfairly ignoring the four dead students in Isla Vista, that
media bias is on display for everyone to see."
Unfortunately, the Santana High School coverage isn't the only
example of the hostility the media has towards gun rights, said Getz.
In January, the Media Research Center released the results of a
two-year study examining how the four major networks covered gun-
related news stories.
The study, "Outgunned: How the Network News Media are Spinning
the Gun Control Debate," analyzed 635 stories on gun policy by ABC,
CBS, CNN, and NBC. It found that stories with an anti-gun perspective
outnumbered pro-gun stories by 357 to 36 -- a 10-to-l ratio. Another
260 stories were classified as neutral.
Such a pattern is troubling -- not just for the Second
Amendment, but for the First Amendment, too, said Getz.
"Libertarians are distressed by the media's anti-gun bias, but
we recognize journalists' right to broadcast whatever they want," he
said. "However, journalists need to understand that when they attack
one basic right, they attack all rights; when they give politicians
more power in one area, they give politicians more power in all areas.
"In the long run, the media's hostility to the Second Amendment
and the exploitation of tragedies like the one at Santana High School
- -- will help undermine the right they hold most dear: The First
Amendment. That's a lesson journalists need to learn before it's too
late."

Whitehouse Shooters Own Words!
Text of Pickett's letter
By Robert W. Pickett- Posted: 02.08.01
Text of a letter written by Robert W. Pickett of Evansville, Ind. It was postmarked
Feb. 2 and addressed to the commissioner of the Internal Revenue Service. It said
copies were sent to President Bush, and the U.S. attorney general. A copy also
was sent to The Cincinnati Enquirer.
February 2, 2001
Commissioner
Internal Revenue Service
Dear Sir:
You are guilty of murder. Your predecessors made decisions which killed an
innocent man. Your office allowed IRS officials to deliberately make false
statements to a federal court. You have full knowledge that the intention of these
improper actions was to discredit the statements made by a whistleblower, a
former IRS auditor who suffered from a severe mental illness. Your office was
aware that IRS officials were concealing evidence that a manager had violated the
civil rights of taxpayers and employees. Last week, the Federal District Court in
Cincinnati rejected my lawsuit filed as a whistleblower against the IRS.
My death is on your hands. Although you were not in charge when this conspiracy
began in 1985, your office has been informed of the situation many times. I have
been a victim of a corrupt government. I tried to protect the citizens from what I
thought was an abnormality, an incompetent manager. The supervisors who were
responsible for that manager's actions did not want their negligence to be
revealed, so they attacked me. Every lie was protected by a higher authority.
These actions fit the legal description of manslaughter; however, due to the
abhorrent nature of the transgressions, it must be considered murder. My right to
due process of the law has been blocked by illegal obstructions; including an
Assistant U.S. Attorney deliberately submitting false statements to a federal court.
This is not a democracy, it is a dictatorship. It is run by the corrupt civil service,
which has placed itself above the law. Every office which was supposed to
investigate these improper actions failed to do its duty. I am not making
unsubstantiated allegations. I have documented evidence for all of my
accusations. The Internal Revenue Service, the Treasury Department, the Equal
Opportunity Commission, the Merit Systems Protection Board, the Office of Special
Counsel and the Department of Justice all committed improper actions to
deliberately deprive me of my right to due process of law.
My plea for help was ignored by the Senate Finance Committee and many others.
No elected official has ever made a valid effort to assist me in fighting the corrupt
civil service. I have been unable to obtain assistance from attorneys, doctors,
even the ACLU. It has become acceptable for the government to violate the rights
of taxpayers and destroy the life of the mentally ill employee who tried to expose
it. I was naive to believe that somewhere in this country, there was someone who
would do his duty. There is obviously no honor for those who claim to serve their
country. It is a job with power and they are allowed to abuse this power with
complete impunity. I was stupid to believe that the truth is a shield which can
protect the innocent from those who mistreat the weak. The freedom our soldiers
fought for have disappeared. Our politicians and government officials do not care
about the people, they only venerate their own power. I have learned there is no
justice, only blinding power.
It is a shame this country pays tribute to the soldiers who have fought for our
freedom when this liberty is being denied to the citizens by the very people
entrusted with administering the rights the soldiers died to protect. It is pathetic
that while the American people show respect to monuments celebrating the ideals
which shaped our history, their government violates those principles. This lack of
honesty is not limited to federal officials. I have also witnessed state judges ignore
the law and make false statements. The value of our forefathers and their
defenders deserve a living legacy of integrity. Although the crimes committed
against me by these bureaucrats were not violent, they are more heinous than
police brutality. These immoral decisions by civil servants were deliberate,
cold-blooded actions to destroy the lives of innocent people, disregarding the
ethics of society. Their failings reflect a dismal future for this country. They have
betrayed their fellow citizens; their illegal actions are treason.
My life has been destroyed because I believed the truth would prevail. I wish I had
the strength to continue to fight this evil with honor. The hypocrites who refused
to perform their duty will eventually have to answer to their own conscience, if
they have any. To protect themselves, these bureaucrats deliberately took
improper actions which aggravated my mental illness. This torture caused me great
mental anguish, including two suicide attempts and several hospitalizations. I have
failed to receive adequate treatment for many mental health professionals and no
support from mental health organizations.
I cannot describe the emotional pain I live with constantly. Narrow-minded people
have refused to accept that I have a mental illness on the basis I do not display
the pre-conceived symptoms and I have rational intelligence. With proper
assistance and support, I could have overcome my handicap. However, the
constant betrayals by those obligated to uphold the law and people who professed
their regard have destroyed me. I have failed to accomplish a goal with the truth
as my standard. I have no faith in myself or anyone else. I would rather not
continue with life since I will only be subjected to further persecution.
With great contempt,
Robert W. Pickett

National Organizations With Anti-Gun Policies
The following organizations have lent monetary, grassroots or some other type of direct
support to anti-gun
organizations. In many instances, these organizations lent their name in support of specific
campaigns to pass
anti-gun legislation such as the March 1995 HCI "Campaign to Protect Sane Gun Laws." Many
of these
organizations were listed as "Campaign Partners," for having pledged to fight any efforts to
repeal the Brady
Act and the Clinton "assault weapons" ban. All have officially endorsed anti-gun positions.
