My only thoughts would be:
1) Can I have just 10k shares please?
2) If there is a buyout- I hope they don't accept less than 15-20 per share valuation as I believe if Rexista is successful we will be at those levels within 12-18 months.
3) Can I have 5k shares if #1 was a no?
"FDA will not grant a 6 month Priority Review for any drug that cannot receive Full Approval for another 19 months. But I do agree with you that it does not matter, since Rexista as it is currently formulated, will never make it out of AdComm."
1) Why not?
2) Then why are you here?
So good to see you back here WeeZuhl. As history has taught us, whenever you stop in...we can expect a drastic rise in share price and huge catalysts to be released shortly thereafter.
Welcome back! (hope you have bought up your shares :).
Seeing Odidi present on March 7th alongside those from Teva, Grünenthal, etc., and right after Dr. Throckmorton is extremely exciting. I can't help but feel we are on the verge of some huge developments...
GLTY IPCI longs... hoping we are about to finally experience our overdue pop.
All I can say is when you have been around this board / following this stock for as long as I and others have and you see this much change in sentiment / volatility... it means something BIG is coming soon. That could be a good thing or bad thing- but it's around the corner.
Ladies and gentleman place your bets... Mine are placed long- haven't ridden this thing out for this long to bail now.
GLTYA IPCI longs!
Interesting- this was just posted to SA...never seen an update like this. They are def wanting to push out this new presentation:
http://seekingalpha.com/article/4036381-intellipharmaceutics-intl-ipci-presents-9th-annual-biotech-showcase-2017-conference?auth_param=5ihuj:1c7fcri:b78a77b98737e19d7121b2411f06a2e1
Naturally only those involved can say for sure- but as Samsa and others have alluded to here- since they filed the NDA, and openly stated they are actively pursuing multiple manufacturer options we can assume (if the FDA acceptance is granted):
1) IPCI will need to announce the manufacturer shortly after (not sure how long exactly) the acceptance is received.
2) The letter should be received within the next approximately 30 days
3) IPCI COULD announce at any point... but appear to be holding off for something.
4) The manufacturer might not be the partner- but logic would strongly suggest they will be.
Therefore- I say we hear something in the next 30 days (or sooner) if the FDA grants acceptance letter.
Haha...has everyone here lost their minds?! Or am I the only person who is crazy and just doesn't realize it?
IPCI has never been in a better position than they are right now...and everyone is bailing all of a sudden for no apparent reason. Or are some of you sharks trying to chum the waters before something big happens?
hmmm... in any case- I don't get the sentiment / games.
Long IPCI... After what we have been through the last 4 years- I'd be damned to sell my shares within a month of the FDA initial decision on the NDA and any number of over-due ANDAs.
I would personally put zero stock in ANYTHING trump says. He is likely pulling a Boeing move... aka- use position to bash a stock / industry, buy said stock / industry through channels, and then boast about how great / more funding said industry will get and then sell = profit.
And as a fall-back it might be a GOOD thing to own a company stock that physically resides in Canada and not in trumplandia...
My thoughts as well Samsa.
Hope we won't loose support at 2,66! It can go fast down then :(
About presentation: nice we got a new look, BUT my concerns became just bigger. Loan to ODIDI'S????????????
Hello????????
I completely agree with Amigo and Angelo!
Those are the best posts that have been written here for years. True respect and An honest resume of the ongoing business. Thx!
Thinking of selling half of my stake in IPCI.
You guys made it more clear to me of what will come or happen.
Go for it...
Agreed- lots of great information in the newly created presentation. SO much better than the old presentations and some fantastic hints can be found within.
Right there with you on that one 100%
Let's hang in there a little longer Longs. We have all been here for way to long to get discouraged and bail at this point. We are within 1-2 months of the largest potential catalysts this company has ever seen.
I for one plan to at least hang around until Rexist 1) letter is received, 2) partnership announcement / terms, and 3) FDA decision. At that point, I will look at the price action vs developments and re-evaluate my position.
Long IPCI. Hoping our day is coming soon.
Well said sir!
Thanks dts- same to you! Here's to hoping 2017 is our turnaround and breakout year!
I agree with your assessment of where we are at vs where we should be and also am adamant that this stock has been heavily manipulated for some reason(s) - some of which still escape me.
However, I do remain optimistic that once (hopefully this year) IPCI transforms from a speculative stock based on potential, to a true growth stock based upon real positive earnings- the price of the stock will follow accordingly.
I have faith in this because at my core I am a value investor who favors the Graham and Buffet school of thought that even in this sophisticated and manipulated market- once a company has true value- quantified by a positive EPS... sooner or later the market will value the stock accordingly. History has not made this belief easy- but I think IPCI is quickly headed into a new period of corporate standing of which it has never previously known. There is still a lot of speculative value potential going forward- and I hope that once we have consistent positive earnings (true worth)- this will be factored in appropriately.
In any case I share your frustrations but hope the future is brighter for us than the past has been. GLTY IPCI longs.
Happy NY to you too Doog and to all all IPCI longs- here's to 2017!!
Where's Impact at when you need him!?
Well said dtstx. As always- I couldn't agree more with you. GLTY and here's to 2017 for us IPCI longs.
When the HUGE news drops... so will pants of all the shorts who have held this down for the last several years...and I will laugh all...night...long thinking about their misery.
I'm not even kidding... the shorts of this stock are on the same mental image level to me as pond scum. I don't wish bad things on people often- but these folks have it coming.
You can only hold it down for so long until either 1) the real earnings hit and are positive, or 2) the huge partnership deal we know is coming gets released. Then bu-bye shorty...
Congratulations to the Odidis. Fantastic development which Doog, dtstx, et al., have well summarized. I still believe a partner has been selected and the deal essentially inked- wouldn't be surprised to hear something very soon although I'd hold off until after the Holidays for January buying and additional exposure.
Now we get to watch this patent become implemented in real world products and save lives. I love how the PR even made specific mention of how the PODRAS tech can also be applied to any overdose prone medication.
GLTYA IPCI Longs. 2017 is...finally... going to be our year.
Right on Doog! Here's hoping for the 2017 that IPCI and many of the longs around here have been waiting for!
Atypical Monday trading. Looks like a few folks are also excited about the impending PODRAS patent- and also speculate that a BIG partnership might come right on the heels. Fingers crossed- GLTY IPCI longs!
Only a matter of time. When real earnings start coming in there is no longer any need for speculative value (which we have been lacking thus far) . Once positive EPS start coming in it's going to be some serious fun around here.
Thanks fred and cysonic for the discussion. I must agree I find it unlikely (although not impossible if they can find a new approach for litigation) that Purdue will file against IPCI now with the recent SCOTUS decision. Fingers crossed!
Hey fred- just curious what Mackie documentation you were referring to? Could you share a link and I'll read up on it. Was the Mackie statement made before the recent (November) SCOTUS decision against Purdue?
To me with the recent SCOTUS decision to not hear Purdue's case against Teva, Mylan, et. al, I don't see why they can and / or should file against IPCI. It would be a waste of time, money, and further dirty their image which is growing increasingly poor over time with opioid abuse.

Thanks for re-confirming that Samsa. I thought I recalled we reached an agreement that the man. site didn't have to be defined upon NDA submission, but couldn't remember who did the deep reading to determine that.
Looking forward to the coming months- fingers crossed!
Sprot to be fair...even a broken clock is right twice a day...
As much as I love IPCI this (if true) is a prime example of why I feel this stock is still struggling to gain any momentum. This falls directly on the shoulders of management who allowed such a deal to be inked. Perhaps it would have been different had Penna been on board at the time but it does no good to speculate.
Hoping they learn / have learned from their previous mistakes.
Noods- I think Mopar was referring to the buyout offer rumor that was posted to some website right around the time of the USPTO update. It was within a day or two but to clarify I also believe I recall a big volume and price spike that fell more in line with the patent development and not the bogus buyout rumor. IIRC the buyout rumor was around 11.50 a share or something...
I think (hope) that most of the movement was due to the patent development.
Probably no coincidence that IPCI shared the Throckmorton Opioid piece on both their Facebook and LinkedIn pages in October.

you gotta make jokes at this stuff otherwise you go crazy
WORD. One day Samsa...one day....
Man im sitting here with almost all I can afford / justify in this company with about 20k shares and was feeling pretty good about that LOL...can I has some of your's? Please?
That would make me so happy it's hard to express it in words Doog. Fingers crossed. Admittedly, I want to see the holders of the 1+ million short shares to get so smashed they can't afford to eat Ramen Noodles.
Agreed Fabius. The fact of the matter is we were trading in the mid to low 4.00 range for a good bit of time back in end of 13, and early 14 purely off of Focalin approval, and SPECULATION.
Now we have SO much more going for us in the near term / mid term including the Mallinckrodt deal for Ser + 2 other drugs, millions in cost recoup, profitable probability rapidly approaching, essentially the same share structure as 3 years ago, PODRAS patent, Rexista submission (and we all know) huge partnership any day now...and we can't get and stay above 3.00??? What has changed negatively?
I have been here for years now and the more I think about this the more angered I get. I can only hope that (as you said) the partnership deal is so massive that it completely screws whoever has been screwing us longs out of IPCI for good.
Great company- miserable stock so far. Fingers crossed this all changes soon.
Combination of (mostly) MM manipulation, shorts, and a few profit takers.
A Tobira-type move here would be phenomenal and long over-due but would require a catalyst of huge proportions (maybe huge partnership deal adding value) and as Samsa has pointed out- something to add true monetary backing to the company to allow for SPECULATIVE forward valuations.
Seems whoever in the heck keeps IPCI in a stranglehold will continue to do so until absolutely MASSIVE value comes in and washes them out. Fingers crossed.
