Yes, but if you really wanted to be helpful you could have posted that news item link last evening instead of telling me to keep googling, thanks. Google still does not return that article.
There's a word for a person like you but it escapes me at the moment.
Raw,
She? I know you having a chuckle over there... : /
Hey Tex we're down to to $1.16. What are you not doing????
45,100 shares traded, last trade @ $1.23
Tex you're not doing your job.
Go Veltex!
Did you comply with the following and Veltex faxed you something which is not currently public?
Am I the only one here who cares what info Raw may have, or am I the only one here who hasn't found out what he knows?????

Well good for the 2 of you, but I find the profundity of your post beyond my comprehension. And the information you have is have no effect. 0 shares traded.
I don't know "soft pumping" is a phrase I picked up here. I think it's from the vernacular of MM. The board is much better with him posting here less BS to wade through. Now if we can just get king to calm down a bit this may be a normal board.
Good morning! If it's anything other than the occassional Marlboro light, you're correct. Could Raw be soft pumping?
Go Veltex!
I'm not seeing what you are... I guess I'll have to wait. Maybe you can give me a lesson after the news is released.
thanks.
Go Veltex!
lol... Rawnoc you are too good, I am googling my ass of here and can't find any new info... Can't you share what you found?
What info? come on guys!
Are you insiders?
???? what was that about?
:) Nice to see you post that.
Thanks for re-enabling the pics. I can't say I agree with your assessment that the quality of the office furniture is a reflection of how well the business is or isn't doing, especially since this is still a start-up, but that's is just my opinion. How many share of VLXC are ou currently holding?
Any chance of an OS update?
Rawnoc,
Do you have the latest OS number?
Is it as the PR states (11mil/1.38) that would equate to ~7,971,014 shares. On April 5 you posted OS shares as 7,498,087, have there been a little than 500,000 additional dilution in the share count since then?
Thanks in advance.
Go Veltex!
Does anyone think it's possible that navicom will be spun off as it's own symbol?
Interesting trading pattern in the last hour of the day...
0.98 7,500 15:54
1.00 7,500 15:54
1.00 1,150 15:03
0.98 2,500 15:01
1.00 2,500 15:01
zre the amounts coincidences? Who would buy at $1 and sell at .98? or maybe the better question is, if a trade was executed for $1 why would someone sell at .98? No one pays more than the ask, do they?
All in all another exciting week, glad to be able to have a couple of days off this roller coaster.
Go Veltex!
That might even be too high... I was a partner in a small non-public tech services company and we had a part-time PR guy in the office 2 days a week for like $40K and that would get us interviews in trade rags as well as press releases about the contracts we had signed and projects completed.
:) I don't know how you are doing ( I would like to) but I am certainly glad!
It's a press release <choose your own adjective> not a management report to share holders or the SEC.
I am more concerned with:
"Veltex Corporation has received a purchase order for $161,228 and to follow on order of over $369,000 within a 30 day period with existing customer Sun Shirts, LLC, located in the City of Industry, CA, who is a distributor of over sixteen years in resort wear, airport shops, hotel gift shops, beach shops. Sun Shirts, LLC distributes its finished product line nationally throughout the United States and the Caribbean."
The part of the sentence is extremely important, yet grammatically incorrect and nonsense. They need to start putting out corrections for these press releases that clarify what they are trying to communicate otherwise we are being told, in this case, a half truth. They received a purchase order and then something else will happen. But what? We can specualte as to what that language means or what the "spirit" of the language is and that is all. They still need to correct "disturber" IMHO and someone who is a native english speaker needs to start proof reading these things before they go public. Unless, and I am stating this for fairness and balance, thi is a SCAM! (not my belief at all)
Go Veltex!
"As a retail investor, I do not believe VLXC shares are
available for shorting."
From what I understand they you can short penny stocks on some German stock exchange... There was a link posted here not long ago about people who do this... :(
"How is this connected to the non existent US operations?"
What world do you live in?
Well someone has made a nice profit ~20% profit on the sale priced shares... I really hate hindsight, wish I didn't have it.
Go Veltex!
Scott makes an excellent point, I hope MM is able to read these posts from jail. The only thing I am dissapointed by is the spelling error of a crucial word regarding that customer;
"Veltex Corporation has signed initial purchase order for over $750,000 with new client West Surfing Products-
Australia who is a disturber of high end surf ware for over twenty years. West Surfing sells its product line in Australia,
New Zealand, Japan, United Kingdom and the United States."
I'm confident that should be "distributor" and I hope a correction will be released for the sake of clarity. Do think MM is writing their press releases?
GO Veltex!
PS
Scott
If possible would you please tell me where the deficiencies are in the questions I asked in response to your prior post?
Thanks,
Ralph
What is the status of the Mills in Bangledesh?
If Bangledesh operations are fully owned, what vehicle will he use to get the profits from there into the US balance sheet?
Was there a cost for Gidget, if so how much?
What is the projected time for the beggining of ROI on Gidget? (if there was cost to aquire it)
What are the revenue projections?
What are you talking about??? What evidence???
"4 booths? No, just 1" ?????
"Vertical? NO" ????
Are you just trying to shares cheaper than you can get them now?
What happened to this? Your post #8662 04/01/2005
Was this an April Fool's joke?
"Sorry, I attended the trade show in Las Vegas, and just got back. Veltex's booth was very noticeable since they had banners about 12' in the air. They were one of the larger booths their and they had lots of apparel. Mr Matin was pleasant to talk too. He would not offer information that was not public knowledge. However, he did refer me to
www.gidgetclothing.com
Looks to me like this is the next growth driver! Just my opinion!
The audit has some positives and negatives. I guess we will know more when the 2004 audit comes out, but I think we will have to be patient."
Roger,
Have you put a buy order in for .50?
That is some very good news! :)
King,
I didn't say anything about statistical samples...
Anyway have you called any of the stores I called or different ones? If so what response did you receive?
Miamimice you make posts like this and you want to know why I haven't facilitated a call between us and Veltex council? Please grow up.
please read post #8693
I will trt to call more tomorrow, but as I am in a bit of DIY on the house it may have to wait till Monday
Go Veltex!
PS
Gidget was not my reason for buying this security, that's just an added bonus if it can add to the bottom line and not take away from it...
Yes tex I was happy to read that PR when it was released, but here is the problem (and I hate to say it, but Miamimice can probably add some additional information here) Gidget was a pre-existing line that's why the stores I spoke with have stock. they did not order for this season because the company is going through a transition. What is the transition if this is a "new" business? Where did the Gidget pieces the stores have come from? Have we missed the sales cycle for this coming summer already? I do not think gidget will have a positive impact on 2005 sales/revenues. Anyone care to add to this discussion?
From the responses I receved anything you buy will be pre-Veltex garments... I think they missed this season and Giget will be more of a 2006+ revenue generator.
lol ok... Any west coast people out there willing to call to see what may or may nor be going on? Was Gidget an announced aquisition, either the name or the company as a whole?
Raw would you mind calling a few of the other west coast Gidget dealers? I will continue with the east coast tomorrow.
Excellent suggestion!
Ok here are my preliminary findings:
NJ - Sunstation Beach "Did not order any this year."
CA
BBK's Beachwest - "Has a few items in stock." When asked if they were getting any more the response was that I would need to speak with the rep who was not in at the moment.
Raw Skin - "Has a couple of tee-shirts and a beach bag in stock" Not ordering anything for this season as the company [Gidget] is going through a transition. This to me was the most telling response I received.
I didn't remember if gidget was an aquisition or not, but it appears as though it was. We should expect to see an aquisition charge in the next audit, I would expect another operating loss as well. Looks like we'll be in the red for a bit longer, but at least we know the products and the dealers I called are REAL! No SCAM! Just a company trying to be sucessful in a tough industry and economy.
Go Veltex!
$3 would be a requirement for listing, wouldn't it?
I may regret saying this, but I do not have much faith in Trey... Service orgnanizations as a rule do not do well these days. As for EDI in my opinion it is a legacy technology who's days are numbered. Just my opinion and I'm still holding my shares, but I'm not buying any more...
PS
I love the farm house. Maybe I'll be in the neighbofhood if this puppy ever runs up again. :)
check post 8622... did you read that?
