p2k: Well placing it front of their face never worked. So, stumbling over it as they review iHub may not garner any action either. We shall see...
Phil: That was a personal attack, why hasn't your post been removed? Why are you a moderator on this thread if you are going to break the TOS rules?
ajtj: Do you think the FDA is going to be working this Sunday? I am trying to decide or not if I made a mistake by not taking out a loan on the house, cashing out the kids colledge fund, taking a loan out on the wife's iron lung and selling my daughter into slavery so I could maximize my investment in this sure bet on a moments notice....gg
USC Cowboy: Wouldn't it be easier just to list every penny stock board on iHub and then remove the few that are not scams from the list?...LOL
Did you guys see this?...
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/board.aspx?board_id=15452
...maybe the SEC and or the DOJ will stumble across this board as they look over iHub.
USC Cowboy: Is this suppose to be a list of penny scams perpetrated at least in part using iHub?
y2kate: I always keep an eye on FA, as I don't like to be broad sided, but FA is rarely a determinate for entries and exists.
Reading through all the stuff alleging Matt was involved in penny stock scams, iHub is always referred to as a penny stock message board. Sadly, I guess that is what iHub has and continues to be for the most part...sigh!
Scam central, the "Hole in the Wall Board"...
y2kate: I long ago stopped giving individual stock advice or reads if you will. I preferred over the years to share how I made my decisions and thus provide readers a rod and reel to do their own fishing.
Since I am not trading POT currently and it is barely on my radar screen, I spruced up my chart yesterday, just for you...gg
I'd say the ideal time to get short POT was at yesterday's high and the next ideal time was at today's high. POT looks to be setting up for a very tradable retrace of recent gains, with the 2/9/09 pivot high one of the prominent targets that should be highlighted on your trading charts.
ajtj: Your suggestion for a name for a band comprised of first graders is "Pissing Razors" and "Nipple Conspiracy"?
You are pulling our legs, right?
xxxBOBxxx: Knowing Matt, he will find your bullshit less than amusing. You rarely post anything of use on iHub, your agenda seems to be to attack others on iHub, with me being your prime target. iHub should just boot you from the site, that will freshen the air...
ajtj: Like I said, Matt and I have had our differences, but I am going to give him the benefit of the doubt until "proven" otherwise. I suggest everyone else do the same...
How about requesting that whom ever the iHub moderator you are communicating with checks xxxBOBxxx's IP to see if it matches another alias on iHub...
ajtj: Just about all xxxBOBxxx ever does is attack and insult folks on iHub. I seem to be his favorite target. I suspect he is an alternate alias of one of the other shits you've already banned...
ajtj: xxxsBOBxxx is a troll...
AD: I am still very suspect of how they handled Elgindy.
IMO, Tony did it to himself...
xxxBOBxxx: Another thing, iHub has its share of folks that have lost their ass in the markets and have to focus on others to vent.
ajtj: Either boot this ass from your thread or boot me...as these piles of shit are one of the other reasons I post less often on iHub.
ajtj: Well I've complained to the SEC for years about these pink sheets scams, even though personally I've never been a victim. Even more recently I complain about the SEC's only token prosecutions of pink sheet scams in my partition to the SEC to stop the reinstatement of the uptick rule...
ajtj: As you know, I don't post on SI anymore and my posting on iHub are for the most part only flare ups from time to time. I really only read your thread on iHub on a semi regular basis since the political stuff has for the most part stopped. There are a couple of other threads I surf, but only occasionally.
We've known about iHub being a pink sheet scam haven for years now. Back to the markets, I am getting a late start because of this.
I'll have to read the iHub SEC scam thread thoroughly later...
IH Geek (Dave): Are you also saying this SEC investigation is bogus?
I always thought that someday allowing these penny stock scams to be perpetrated on iHub would come back to bite iHub in the ass, but I always thought the charge would be aiding and abetting. While I really do not know Matt personally, I have had a lot of communiqués with him privately and he just doesn't seem like someone who would be directly involved in one of these scams. While I often disagreed with him and Matt's decisions often left me feeling pissed on, I believed then and still do that his determinates were based in principle. I am giving Matt the benefit of the doubt until "proven" otherwise...
mokew: IMO, SI and iHub are one in the same...
ajtj: You may remember my public feud with iHub regarding the penny stock appeasement. That is one of the main reasons I stopped posting regularly on iHub...sigh! Well until the last few days, but that too shall pass, I'll retreat back to my free private message board.
mokew: WOW, I always suspected that Matt would get dragged into one of these scams (I warned him privately) due to the lax manner iHub administrated the many pink sheet scams on iHub, thus in my opinion, allowing these scams to be perpetrated on iHub, the "Hole in the Wall Board".
However, I never ever thought Matt would be accused of being directly involved...(I always thought the charge would be aiding and abetting.)
"The pump-and-dump scheme involving GH3 International, Inc. stock occurred between October and December 2006. Dynkowski orchestrated this fraud with Matthew W. Brown, who operates a penny stock website called InvestorsHub.com. Brown introduced Dynkowski to a representative of GH3 and to Jacob Canceli, a penny stock promoter who participated in the scheme. Brown acted as a liaison between Dynkowski, Canceli and the issuer."
These are very serious charges. I prefer to give Matt the benefit of the doubt for now...
y2kate: The upper boundary of the 4/1-2/08 gap down is 123.45. Note my white solid horizontal line on the chart I linked.
IMO, for the most part options trading is a fools game. Use them to hedge larger positions, period. Trade equities, while the risk to reward is smaller you get to keep most of your money if you bet wrong and exist smartly. You have a better chance to build your portfolio.
95.46 is the 5/9/09 pivot high. A test of that area is one of the support areas to watch during a significant drop. If POT drops to 95.46 you should be short into the drop, not get short once it gets there. As 95.46 is being tested I would rely on my OB/OS models in real time to help me decide what to do, cover and reverse or hold the short.
I don't track the TBT...
y2kate: 116.42 was POT's 10/14/2008 pivot high, a high that filled some of the 10/1-2/08 gap down. Pull up a daily chart and look left or click on my daily chart below.
Predicting the when is less important when trading equities than getting the turn right at the time of the turn. Using support/resistance targets coupled with OB/OS indicators, part of my MTF analysis I first began sharing publicly on Silicon Investor in 1998, suggests the target, but timing the date would be for the most part intuitive (based on experience)...IMO

gloe: Looks like it was constructed by the folks that built the Cowboys' practice field cover...LOL
y2kate: I suspect they are going to defend the 5/15 lows into Memorial Day weekend. We shall see...
pstuartb: That may last into next week...
squirrel: I thought "Roy" was the name of that gal's husband, that gal (Laura San Giacomo) that hooked up with Quigley (Tom Selleck). Of course I could be wrong...
RCKS: The SPY five minute bars reveals the SPY has formed an intraday bearish pennant and if negated a morph into an intraday bearish flag could be used to retrace back up to today's gap down. Something to keep an eye on...
ajtj: GS moved up over five points off its opening low, then down over four points and then back up over two and a half poins. I wouldn't call that spinning, but great trading opportunities.
GS...amazing...gg
ajtj: OT...SPY behaving pretty much as expected the last decade and a half...gg (I would prefer today's gap down never occurred. A close prior to a next leg down would be a welcome addition to the menu, but hardly a given. That would pretty much empty the train before it leaves the station.)

And in keeping with the new format stock calls on your thread...gg
SMRT...sweeeeet

TTC...amazing
excel: I received the mailing, this is the only way I see to get this dealt with.
Donate and sign the partition folks...
Senator Corker of Tenn. is telling the TAX CHEAT Geithner like it is regarding our Government's pressuring GM and Chrysler bond holders basically screwing those retirees (many from the greatest generation) in favor of protecting the UAW retirees.
Is the bias in plan site or what...sigh!
The roaches have complete control and are no longer afraid of the light...
ajtj: LOL....that is great. I added it to my Favs...gg
EDIT: I just got a complaint from the office across the hall...yikes! Guess I'll have to turn my PC sound down...LOL
