Time to call/email Bob and get him to move along the China joint venture. According to their website package download, the due-dili trip to Hong Kong is supposed to be this month.
Also, I am curious about their interest in the US erectile dysfunction industry. Over 50% of men over 40yrs old suffer from some form of ED and it is impacting men at younger and younger ages.
Men will pay for the ability to have sex. Period. The ED industry is virtually "recession proof" if you think about it.
Scrips just needs to keeping building momentum right now. The shorters are going to do what they do regardless, so we need some momentum to squeeze them out. Plus, I am not sure if Scrips engaged promoters in the past with restricted stock and maybe its coming free now, which could account for the downward pressure.
Making a move into the ED industry could provide a strong "rise" in the stock, no pun intended.
Indeed. While this isn't the most professional qualitative/quant analysis, in my opinion the company is undervalued right now. Strong revenues will be generated from the US retail pharmacy distribution deal, the sale of RapiMed in the US as well as the product diversification they can utilize in RapiMed format. Factor in the huge "potential" of the China venture. Plus, there is a very active and committed shareholder base, an absolute necessity for any company. The committed shareholder base is the hedge against the professional shorters and sharks who look to cause havoc and benefit from misery.
All in all, its a very attractive combination of market elements that make this stock a ridiculously good buy at these prices.
Yes, some news will be out def after the Hong Kong trip or when first orders are placed with the U.S. retail pharmacy distribution deal they recently signed.
Or, probably a release out when they leave for the HK due-dili trip.
I would imagine that after the HK trip, they will have a solid idea of the distribution outlets and how the operation will unfold and some newsworthy information.
Exciting times!!!!
So, from the release, we make the leap that they have a "Viagra" style product?
If anything they are referring to an OTC supplement of some sort because they have no proprietary prescription ED pill right - first, that would require FDA approval and that is a multi-year testing process that costs easily over $400M to obtain; second, if they want to sell a prescription style ED product in China, that would require SFDA approval (State Food Drug Administration).
So, it must be some OTC product they have worked up. That is good stuff and it shows Scrips is interested in entering a very lucrative male sexual dysfunction market. But I don't know if you can say its "Viagra".
What do you means its their "ED". As for due-dili, I have done it quite thoroughly and there is no mention anywhere, on the website or any public filings or releases, of a Viagra alternative or hybrid style product.
Please direct me to where I can find public information regarding, as you put it, "their ed".
Viagra? What are you referring to? I have heard talk about some "Viagra" type product on these boards. Where does this come from? Is SCRC manufacturing an erectile dysfunction medication using RapiMed? Where can I find this information?
Well articulated post, Haas. Indeed, I hope the naysayers are proved wrong. I caught some flak for trying to move the talk away from the P&D style language that is pervasive in actual P&D's. Go look at any message board stock where there was a P&D and you will see the ridiculous hype preceding the dump.
This is a dedicated group with a lot of positive energy that is rallying around a company that appears to be on the cusp of breaking out in a big way. No hype necessary. The public information is enough to convince me to build a position. Hype makes me wary. Oh well. To each his own.
I hope mine and everyone's commitment to this company pays off in a big way. Based upon the news coming out, I believe it will!
Thank you for proving my point. If Blackrock and any other large institution is going to get behind SCRC, it wont be because of hype. It will be because of fundamentals.
I believe, based upon public information, that SCRC has an incredible future. But any blackrock talk is premature in my opinion. This stock is the farthest thing from volatile and I am saying that hype language contributes to volatility.
Anyways CBS, I know you are a dedicated investor to SCRC and one of its biggest champions. I am not trying to offend and for that I am sorry if taken that way.
I intend to buy small lots every day and help march this company up. In a couple months, I believe we will be well over a $1 and stable.
Sorry again CBS.
Night
Yes, exactly. I happen to like pharmaceuticals and I like what I see with scrips and their future pipeline.
However, I have shorted stocks before in brutal fashion and one of the dead giveaways is a stock being promoted relentlessly in a ridiculous fashion. The juvenile hype language will only attract the wrong people, mark my words. And then all the hard effort of those dedicated to scrips will be wasted on battling shorters. The ridiculous hype language is like chum in the water for shark shorters.
Don't believe me? Keep it up
Sure. Read my past posts. I support this company. And if you think this ridiculous pump and dump language is how to build support, then more power to you.
But, in my humble opinion, "load the boat", "invest your kids college fund" and other nonsense is the same pump and dump language you see all over the OTC boards.
SCRC is a good company with, I believe, a strong future. This is based on public information and not hype. If my grounding in reality upsets you, I am sorry. All I am saying is that sort of hype language attracts the wrong people. The more hype language means to me the weaker the company.
So, feel free to delete my comment even though I buy this stock.
You are 100% correct in your post Harvey. 2% gains is great! Get rich quick is also lose your money quick. I'd rather "get rich steadily".
It really comes down to commitment. While the shorters and predators are weeded out, there will be trying moments when one will want to sell and say "fuck it". But, the market is moved by animal spirits and the will of investors, and so the same with SCRC.
Crawl, walk, run. We crawled for a while, started walking and began to run too fast and skinned up our knees. Now, we are a little more tentative and so the chants to "run SCRC run!" are quite foolish.
A solid house is made of many bricks laid with care, not slopped together in haste.
Yes, slow and steady growth is what we need. Frenzied ups and downs is not what we need. Also, having humbly been around the OTC for many years and on many levels, frenzied hype and outlandish statements are detrimental. Are we not adults?
SCRC is a promising company that deserves long term shareholder support. The crazy statements like, "its time to load the boat", "invest your kids college fund into this gem", "this stock will make you a millionaire" and other crystal meth type hype is detrimental.
F-U-N-D-A-M-E-N-T-A-L-S
Is all we need....
Lets be positive and build but not hype. Hype, I promise, attracts the wrong people. It attracts shorters, predatory funds and it attracts professional pump and dumpers who simply troll the OTC for what they perceive to be pump and dumps so they can get in on the action. We think their involvement is a boon, but it is all a ploy.
"Beware greeks bearing gifts..."
Kenbe, we don't have to hype here. The stock, most likely, will not be the hottest stock on Amex in 18months. Just saying.
I hope it is!
The last thing this board needs is inflammatory hype. It is detrimental and creates the frenzy effect.
So, lets focus on the basics and the positives. The company is in a booming market. The company has a great, "secret sauce" type product in RapiMed. The company is in financing talks with a wall st. firm. The company is satisfying its debt obligations. The company just signed a major US retail pharmacy distribution deal. The company just signed a major MOU to sell RapiMed in the the greater China market.
Please refrain from the howling hype. It is not necessary and actually fuels speculation that SCRC is a pump and dump. Lets focus on the basics and public information. Any stock that requires inflammatory hype is a stock not worth investing in. SCRC is a stock worth investing in.
Great news. This is a major play by Scrips. This deal will inevitably attract Chinese investor money into the stock. This is a sexy deal
Not trying to be negative. I promise. Im just curious as to the promotion situation as that affects my investing calculus. Promoters can be great assets to the company, they help make the market aware. They are kind of like training wheels for the company while it steadies itself.
Anyways, I have seen enough of Scrips to come to the conclusion that there are some profitable days ahead. Im simply curious and I apologize for dredging up any bad feelings.
Once the acquisition of First Power and Light, LLC happens, this stock should perform nicely. FPL LLC has great jobs and a solid history of solar installations. US solar market is booming, very generous federal incentives for solar and the country is spanking China for panel dumping. 2013 and 2014 should be some of the best years for US solar industry.
Appears right now there are some people wanting to dump some paper coupled with shorters circling. Let it happen. Post acquisition, this company should perform quite well and I believe there will be some very satisfied shareholders who just held tight.
Once the acquisition of First Power and Light, LLC happens, this stock should perform nicely. I have been watching it for a little while now, saw some highs in the $2 range several months back. But, the point is that I also checked out their website and they had an investor packet up at one time. It was a review of First Power and Light LLC. It was pretty impressive and had a major pipeline of projects, over $10M listed. Names of the project, engineering specs, everything.
So, we have seen some major action with this stock. There are some sellers beating it down but there is an appetite for the stock at its current levels. While it has taken some time for things to progress, from the original LOI to the name change to the upcoming acquisition, this stock should be trading stably in the dollar range over the next 60 days pending the acquisition.
Interesting. I wonder if they have engaged the same promoters each time? Or new groups? What was the average length of each promotion/pump and what was their peak? Further, were they pumping when there was good news, corporate events? Or just pumping with no real news to validate?
The drive up to $1 in such a fasion was unfortunate. It created a frenzy and frenzies usually lead to panic selling in the end. Everybody loves the party, the pump, but no one wants to be around when it ends. Now, we are back down to earth but the hangover from the dump still lingers.
Going to take some solid news, a decent Q coming out and methodical promotion to bring this thing back up to the $1 level.
May I ask, when did Schneiderman make this prediction and what was the prediction based off of? Reviewing the past two months press releases, we see that they are paying off their notes, attempting to arrange financing, attempting to arrange a China distribution of RapiMed and have just signed a US retail pharmacy distribution deal to supply meds.
All very positive news. The US retail pharmacy release is the most substantive of them all because it will lead to immediate revenues. How much? Time will tell but hopefully strong revs. The China deal is very glittery and nice to hear about, but we need for them to announce their MOU/LOI and make some serious steps before it becomes reality. Entering China is not easy on any level and you need a solid and experienced "on the ground partner" to be successful.
This is what I like to see an OTC stock, the "secret sauce". What does Scrips have that other pharma/med companies don't have??
RapiMed has incredible potential beyond acetaphinomen, since the fast melt technology can be applied to diverse product channels such as vitamins (C, B12, etc), other OTC applications (cough, sleep aid) and general health supplements (glucosamine, calcium, etc. So, essentially, you have dozens of product lines to be used with fast melt RapiMed technology. Upon establishing stable purchase orders with the retailers, it will be easier to integrate additional product lines onto the shelves. The more rapimed is seen, the more it is taken, the more it is trusted.
Bottom line is who doesn't want their medicines to be delivered faster and more efficiently?
New board member and I have some thoughts. I peruse the small cap world looking for small, undervalued companies with potential, dedicated shareholder base, future business prospects and liquidity.
I like what Im seeing with Scrips. Sure, they have some hills and valleys with the stock, but what OTC doesn't? Key is they have some really great news in the pipeline. Between the new pharmacy distribution deal to the China venture, there are some exciting things coming up. You buy and sell stock based on the future.
So, I might dip my toes into this little pond and see what happens. Again, if you can't stomach a little volatility then OTC is not for you. But, if you can hold on while the bad seeds either get spanked or crawl off somewhere else, there is some money to be made here. I believe this $.35-$.40 range is the "bottom" and can steadily climb back up.
