stockraker - The rocket keeps taking off, but has had several 2nd stage ignition failures. I want to see all three stages fire, sending STHG into orbit. ...are you there Huston? Over!
ClearlyStocks - I hope you are right, but why do you think it will get to .007 tomorrow?
Ole Broke Azz - My ears are itching. ...and what happens if we don't get more news soon? What news?
4keywest - The flip side is, what will prevent it from going up?
PHEZANTHUNTER - No problem pal. I just get frustrated with CEOS who don't seem to know what is and isn't important in PR. I know on CEO who repeatedly has taken great news and written it ins such a lackluster way that the stock would go down. I think some CEOs see writing PRs as a requirement rather than an opportunity to sell their stock.
OK, I kind of understand why the spike followed by the sell off today, but, in the absence of new information, what will push this back up tomorrow of the next day, etc.?
PHEZANTHUNTER - It is more than remotely true. Further, it is immaterial whether you or I think someone should be trading stocks. The fact is there are thousands of people within a broad spectrum of competence who do trade stocks. What is material is that they trade stocks in accordance with their understanding of things like this PR. The more clearly these PRs are written, the better the decisions made by the masses. I personally think most PRs are poorly written. CEOs would do themselves a real service if they would write in the active voice. There is a real benefit in leading off any good news PR with the words - Good News! The next few word should convey what the good news is. This is all many investors really want to know. A number of investor interpreted this PR to be bad news and others didn't know what to think. This is not the only PR I've seen that has this type of problem. CEOs need to make the significance of their PRs made clear right up front in as few words as possible.
stockraker - I know a number of otherwise bright people read the PR several times and were still unsure if it was good or bad news. PRs need to be transparent to investors regardless how knowledgeable they are. If you want someone to understand what you are saying, then they usually will. If you don't care if they get it, then you will have happen what happened today. What can I say. Investor come in all levels of understanding of the stock market.
stockraker - I don't think a lot of people understood the news was good news. The next time they release PRs like today, the management needs to state "The Is Good News" right up front.
Also, I think some people began taking their profits as son as it went over .008, which cased STHG to begin to re-trace. Once the slide started, many sold because they were afraid the bottom was going to fall out.
Z732Z - I agree. A lot of people here talk about holding their shares, but it is a lead pipe cinch that some here dump as soon as it starts to moving north. We have gone over a million shares in a single trading day several times, which does move the stock up. Just think what might happen if 150 million shares went across the board in a single trading day. VaVooom!
Thanks di4
fastback - No dips here!
FRAKSTER - True!
FRAKSTER - Considering that some of that some of this 20% traded was comprised of shares traded more than once, there could be well over 400K locked down.
Perhaps, because of the high level of interest, the demand created be normal buying could well be enough to strangle the shorts.
This might mean the shorts will jump quick this morning to beat the run up caused by excited retail buyers.
WOW! This means that the number of shares bought and sold last Friday was in excess of 20% of the free trading shares.

Blackjay - It wouldn't surprise me either.
STHG is Locked, Cocked & Ready to Rock!
rebelgirl - Thanks for the reply.
HOT OFF THE YAHOO PRESS - Stock Roach editor and chief does a Mea culpa on his negative about STHG on the Yahoo Message Board. For any of you who take the Stock Roach News Letter, you know that Stock Roach stabbed STHG in the back with unwarranted negative predictions right after they ran the PPS up with by recommending the stock in an e-mail blast of their news letter to their subscribers.
The Stock Roach posted the following Mea culpa about STHG on the Yahoo Message Board.
"I can tell you that for a bit we thought this stock was a goner, but a lot of our email list got the email later in the morning after the dip and took advantage of the cheap shares.
I think we could see .009 just like I said in my original email alert so I will stick to that for my monday afternoon guess for now, maybe tuesday if we dont break .0088 monday.
Good luck and be ready for my monday alert, it could be big time."

I hope he has the decency to send out another Stock Roach news letter stating his reversal of opinion.
FRAKSTER - The high on the last bounce was .024. The recent plunge made investors a bit skittish. So it follows that there might be a lot of people selling just short of .024 fearing a repeat performance of the dip. So, I'd like some logic set forth as to why STHG running back down, beginning at .024, is no longer a problem. In other words, why should investors, like me, believe that .024 is no longer an issue.
CharbiesLarby - No can do because I'm not a premium member. Only premium members can send PMs.
rebelgirl - Short squeezes are good anytime.
Rhythm88 - I don't think you're missing a thing. Is this fun or what?
rebelgirl - That's a fact! I'm having fun now. I was at a family funeral when I checked the stock price. I was almost giddy. STHG is being raised from the dead. How high do you think the shorts will be squeezed?
doogdilinger - Thank you for all your work bringing us this great news! EXCELLENT!
doogdilinger - Thanks for you excellent reply. I am still long and strong on STHG.
rebelgirl - I B ready!
rebelgirl - I'd love it if this stock ended up squeezing the life out of the shorts
rebelgirl - I was hoping for a confident medium to short term perspective. LOL
rebelgirl - Thanks for your reply. I am hanging in there hopping to see it move up soon.
rebelgirl - Thanks for the reply. I assume from your answer that there is no longer 200 mil shares (+/-) sitting on the bid or following the bid?
doogdilinger & Rebel Girl - A couple of Questions please. I am a long and am trying to figure out at what point the shorts will cover. I am not sure how to correctly word this, but here goes. So how many shares will have to be bought to absorb the unaccounted for balance in the float, which would bring the float back under friendly (longs) control to force shorts to cover? Also, I thought there was 200 mil shares setting on the bid a few days ago to prevent what just happened to the share price yesterday and today. Did I not get this right?

artio87 - I HOPE SO!
USAE has the edge: As is evident in the following information, Republican Senator John McCain championed Airbus/EADS getting the contract, which blew up in his face. Consistent with MSNBC's report, Obama dislikes Airbus/EADS After all, it is championed by his nemesis Republican Senator McCain.
Further, at the end of June, the WTO ruled that Europe paid illegal subsidies to EADS subsidiary Airbus. Boeing was charged with similar shena@#$%ns, but the ruling on Boeing has yet to be handed down.
Read more here:
http://www.latimes.com/business/la-fi-ta...
2001: The story goes back to at least 2001, when the Air Force and Boeing hatched a different deal, this one to lease aerial refueling tankers. Ultimately, the Secretary of the USAF and the CEO of Boeing lost their jobs, and two Boeing executives were sent to jail in connection with corruption on the case.
2004: The deal was scuttled.
In 2006, McCain lobbied the Bush Administration to change its procurement practices so that Airbus, along with its partner Northrop Grumman, could bid on a $35 billion U.S. Air Force. As a result, thousands of jobs that would have been created and supported here in the United States will instead go overseas. John McCain's campaign team has at least three lobbyists who were hired by Airbus to help the European aerospace giant win that very same contract.
Another Republican nemesis of Obama is Senator (KS) Pat Roberts who has been a long time Champion of Boeing because Boeing is rooted in Wichita, Kansas.
The entire article:
http://www.jedreport.com/2008/03/mccain-...
The above time article states that Peter Wilson, senior defense analyst with Rand Corp. stated he found it hard to take seriously the U.S. Aerospace-Antonov bid. He further stated it bordered on the bizarre that a company would come in at this late hour and think they have a chance to win. We're talking about a competition that's taken almost 10 years."
But consider the following.
1. Boeing and Airbus/EADS have both been caught up in big league corruption regarding the tanker contract. The WTO has already ruled against airbus and may also soon rule hand down a ruling against Boeing. U.S. Aerospace-Antonov has no such problems.
2. Obama hates Republicans, including Senators John McCain and Pat Roberts who championed Airbus/EADS and Boeing. U.S. Aerospace-Antonov does not pick at this political scab.
3. The easiest way for the Obama Government to rid themselves of a running 10 year headache with Airbus/EADS and Boeing, while sticking it to his Republican foes, is to give the contract to a third party like U.S. Aerospace-Antonov.
4. USAE being in the rear on taxes and being a relatively small company are insignificant compared to the political baggage that Boeing and EADS are carrying. Little Companies are made into huge companies overnight with the right Government contract. Also, USAE is assembling the completed major components in the U.S. I watched Airbus do the same ting with its huge passenger jet. The facility used is huge, but not all that complicated to build. Essentially it is just a gigantic tin erector set type building with lots of scaffolding, overhead winches and assembly tools.
5. The Government gave contracts to underdogs in the past. When Chrysler was going bankrupt in early 80's, the Government awarded the M1 Tank Contract to Chrysler even though General Motors had a superior product and was financially stable at that time. Chrysler sold their defense plant to General Dynamics and used the profit to save their car company. This Administration might also go for the underdog for afore mentioned self-serving reasons.
I really think USAE has the edge!
ProfitScout - I agree!
Who will win Contract? I have a background as a military Contracting officer. In fact I graduated from several military Contracting Officer Schools. Also, until recently I was heavily invested in USAE, which is when I decided to liquidate half of my USAE position to diversify into other stocks. But, given today's PR, this is a decision I now regret.
Now that my cred' is out of the way, let me tell you why I think U.S. Aerospace, Inc. and Antonov will win the KC-X Tanker contract.
To understand what I will say, one has to accept the fact, that even with less corrupt Administrations than Obama's, the very size of this contract will induce a political rather than a rational decision as to who will be awarded this contract. Also, one must understand that all of these aircraft manufacturers are capable of building a great aerial refueling tankers.
Things to consider:
1. According to MSNBC Chairman Obama doesn't like Airbus, and by logical extension, doesn't like Airbus' parent company EADS.
2. Boeing's roots are in Wichita Kansas. Republican Kansas Senator Pat Roberts is Boeing's leading political supporter and the Chairman can always be counted on not to do Republican's, like Robert's, any favors.
3. Antonov's (USAE's) entry is already in service, built for military use and would require the least modifications to bring it up to Air Force milspec standard. Additionally USAE will be assembling the the aircraft in America, which, like the other two entries. It will also be less expensive to build than the other entries.
On Monday we will see how many investors agree with me.
It was great ending up on the day's high. I am looking forward to tomorrow! Maybe we'll hit the .005 mark!
PIZZABUSTER1 - Doesn't look like it is happenening today.
To All Here - You are nice folks who I pray will, along with me, soon be rich. I have enjoyed talking with all of you, but I'm going for pillow time now. Goodnight all!
