This is going to be a great year folks ...
You’re just going to have to deal with it :)
Back seat drivers....
Should never spec a biotech!
You have to have the ... ball$ for it !
Real eAsy to sit here and recommend to these guys what to do ??
Just pause for just a second and take a look at what they have accomplished .
It’s a pretty big deal folks. Forget about the markets, shorts, manipulation...
Focus on the product and the potential market for it. This story is just beginning folks.
Accumulating!
People way smarter than us say $18 this year
I’m all in
$7 SALE PRICE!!! My buy order in.
Unbelievable.
s/p at close on March 7th, 2018
I know its a tough pill to swallow... but in consideration of everything that happened between 3/7/18 and today... in the markets... it certainly does not reflect the advances in the company.
That is the problem we face looking at our portfolio's. Based on the current data and information we have about this company, do we continue to Hold Long? Based on the actual use of the product, in hospitals, by doctors, do we think this product has worldwide application in the clinical environment? More importantly... will insurance companies pay for it? Does Cytosorb have a shot at becoming a SOC for runaway infection? High Risk Cardiac Surgery? Protection of our Blood Supply? I guess you answer yes to any one of those... and you have to stay in. Possibly even accumulate at these prices. ESPECIALLY if we get decent news today.
How many times have we heard 2020 ? That is 9 months away.
My "gut" tells me to hold. I'll know it when I see it... only then will I sell.
Good CTSO news is always followed by a drop. Ok... maybe not always but just like the news of new markets this week... down she goes. As most of you longs... I too get the urge to hit the sell button. I have done the "lets see next quarter" thing more than I care to count. Where is that elusive 15 we so loved? Is this the little engine that... couldn't ?
I agree. It is certainly time for some substantive information. Where exactly are we in terms of a timeline to FDA approval for Sepsis? Cardiac?
Other applications? two years? 5 years? I've been here since 9cents.
Rap
Interesting thread... Why would CAR-T Pharma speak of a cartridge that can help their with little problem.... I don't think they want to verbalize that there is a "problem" unless they have to.
Unless.. they form some alliance with said solution. Even then... would the verbalize that they had a problem... or just use the filter as a SOC for Car-T therapies.
Yes... I think that is the solution to their problem. "No Problem".
Our XYZ approach includes (but not advertised) a certain blood filter that assists the therapy.
Yes we had some CRS... but have handled it nicely. Period...
So gentlemen... IF we had a problem... we don't now.
Next question …..
Worth repeating: my cardio doc contact is most impressed with the “possibility “ that Cytosorb can remove blood thinners and other drugs that impede surgery’s.... some patients wait as long as 5 days!
Of all the info I have given him... that one got the reply “game changer”
I’d like to hear mor or get hyperlinks that I can pass. He is in a great position to expose to many.
Idunno... this is a year old... not much effect on Ctso so far
Why?
Because this company CAN walk and chew gum at the same time.
Patients. It will all come together. Who knows which fire will grow first?
They will be prepared to nurture any of them . Many times the markets dictate the product. And we have many.
Bertha
It’s not just emergency cardiac... there are many surgeries that are delayed due to drugs as common as aspirin and ibuprofen.. that thin blood. Critical time. Cardiac is very common due to the drugs given prior to getting to the cardiac doctors. I was lucky that my heart cath solved my problem instead of bypass because I was given blood thinners by paramedics enroute to the hospital. This very well could be standard of care in these instances. The list keeps getting bigger! Forget the markets... concentrate on the science!
Re:Game Changers
Biotechs are complicated. I’m sure they are on top of it. Brutally slow. I don’t think I’m wired for that pace being a business owner for the past 25 years. Yes maybe some exposure would help.
I regularly email my cardio guy here in Columbus and hospital pharmacy director in Cincinnati with information as it becomes available including case of the week.
All here should do the same!
Cytosorb adsorption during emergency cardiac operations
My cardio doc was very excited to read this. Said if verified, a big game changer!
Reducing the wait time ... huge!
Eskay
Sorta twisted that you get some thrill as a so called ex investor... trolling this board.
I added 5k shares today. It’s the markets .... unstable.
I wish I could have added 100,000
ANY COUNTRY THAT PAYS FOR HEALTHCARE...
SOCIAL HEALTHCARE...
would save millions... using CYTOSORB.
Those countries have a vested interest in providing this product to its hospitals. Just look at those "Case of the Week" that Andy has provided. Use Cytosorb a little earlier in the process and you save even more $$$ and Lives. And most of these socialist governments care more about the $$$ than granny.
Folks… the "markets" are totally "jacked". Off the rails with all the distractions to our good economic outlook. Gov Shutdown. China. Brexit. Politics in the generally disfunctional government … on both sides.
I am positive that Dr Chan could give two hoots about what is going on beyond Cytosorbents Corp. Stay the course DC. Work the plan. Make beads... make more filters... save lives. It will all come together.
We are in unpresented times folks. All the news is about the far left and the far right. Most of us are huddled in the middle hoping that the nut jobs will get tired of screaming at each other and the world will settle somewhere in the middle of common sense. I can only hope.
Long... only solid ground.
EDDTXF from the doc:
Endotoxins are toxins released by the pathogens versus cytokines are the natural pro-inflammatory substances released by our bodies to fight infections and in response to other stressors. Interesting concept about just absorbing the endotoxins but I doubt they can make one filter that would work for all. Glad to see things progressing with cytosorbents.
Slapster...
so IMSC has had a rough go.. like 7 cents now....
Like us ... those grant givers sometimes strike out.
Wonder how many grants... and how much cash ??
Ctso has an impressive group that has opened their checkbooks!
Very impressive,
Ctso will be forced to “pay its dues” to get to the finish line.
No free pass to FDA approval... especially for a medical device that competes with that yet to be developed, drug. Food and DRUG Administration! Run by Drug Companies
Really?
Forget about SP. Look what Cytosorbents has accomplished. Look at their management team. Look at the talent. Look at the Grants. GRANTS! you think people just throw money at companies for the hell of it?
Look at the (limited as it may seem) data.
Now... Realize the Gov issues to clearing FDA and others.
Geezus folks... let the stew simmer....
Concentrate on the lifecycle so far and have the foresight to see what is down the road.
Yes I agree with you.... but it just aint that simple.
Organized effort to push sp down. Gordon “Gekko’d”
Slapster… please be a little more detailed. What product(s) do they have.. that shelving Cytosorb would help?
I always thought Freaks had us in their back pocket because they certainly have the equipment Cytosorb hooks up to... and we do not. Seemed like a marriage made in heaven.
Aliberto… sales figures are disappointing?
I applaud Cytosorbents for even taking on big pharma with a "filter". Docs are brainwashed (for the most part) that drugs surgery and more drugs will save us all. From ED to Cancer... take a pill. Cut it out. Kill everything and start over with Chemo. Like Lemmings... we march forward to our local CVS for the refills. Then when we are old and get a little unmanageable …. drug us into the "Geri Chair" till we succumb losing our will to even eat. I've seen this in person.
Thank god someone wants to "go to the moon" with this filter concept!
Innovation is alive and well at CTSO. Thank you Dr Chan.
No go save some lives.
--------------------//
By the way.. I spoke to a ER doc at a kids birthday party yesterday. I briefly spoke of Cytosorb. He looked at me like I had two heads. "does such a product exist?" he said. I gave him the link to their website.
I keep saying.... put someone who has been a survivor due to Cytosorb on the Dr Oz show. Or maybe 60Min. Put Chan and the FDA on. Run the numbers... how much money can be saved along with the lives? After all... its all about the money now isn't it?
hemopure…. totally right. it's been said before. We are in a world of immediate satisfaction. As an Entrepreneur... since 1992... I know the meaning of patience. I developed a software qc program. Been perfecting it and selling it and improving it and selling it since 1995. Creating an idea... building it and selling it... not easy. Biotech? Rocket Science.
I hold long... because of the science.
Slappie… Mgmt has to be extremely cautious about what they say and when they say it. Earnings must be announced. To all. No "hints" No "leaks"
Patience my friends.
Let the soup simmer a bit. The markets... The Fed... China... The new Congress... All influence SP.
CTSO may attract good money soon due to risk tolerance easing.
It is all about data
Well... there goes the neighborhood.
Whole market took a gigantic dump.
Thanks fed. Time to retire that group.
Let the free markets make the rates.
These few have too much power.
So ... is there something that would remove Cytokines ?
Well... there ya have it.
Totally different opinions. Not surprising.
What is for dang sure... Management knows how to make a great filter...
but they don't know squat about instilling value in the product. Social exposure …. One case of the week survivor on the Dr Oz show...
National attention... create a BUZZZZZ Save a life.... or
show more pictures of a freakin conference. Geezus folks... do ya wanna sell your stock at 8 bucks or $18 ?
Money should be pouring into ctso now...
Such an upside !!! ?
So many uses ...
miracle product ...
Sepsis... cure ?
Facilitator of designer cancer therapies...
....
$12 ? $20 ? $80
Yea we all (well maybe not all) ?? are pretty positive.
Some lots more than others.
Whomever amongst us actually work for ctso ?
I think I’m done with these boards ??
But slapster...
What about those great pictures on Facebook!!
Geezus man!!! That should have been a slam dunk for the SP !!!!
What we really need right now is a couple of great cases of the week maybe a press release from last year or some rumor that Dr. June has all the answers for us
I've sold half on near highs.. repurchased near lows... but did not anticipate this one. Wish I had. No cash left to buy here. Rest of portfolio is back to early year numbers. Evaporation … Sorry for anyone planning on retirement this month. Hope January brings us back up. I want to retire in the fall of 2020.
HOW LOW... CAN YOU GO.....
LOVE y’all but you’re preaching to the choir. Only longs here. Retail investors. No institutions, no big buyers. So.. give it a rest till January. Happy Holidays and Happy New Year !!!!
DC = CARE ? Not for a minute that I think he doesn't care. A company cannot get where CTSO is today without the CEO being all in. DC has his focus on the process. Goal = FDA How we get there is dependent on those including DC who are making the decisions. History proves that it is not easy to get thru the hoops in USA Gov Regulations. SP is just a fact of life with a company still trying to go profitable. I agree with others here that 2019 is the year. I'm averaged in at a dime =/- pre split. My estimate is also $25 next year. I am already weighted more than I should in ctso… so I'm holding a ton.
Volume? Not surprised at all.
Nothing new to report … really... other than the same folks telling us that the promised land is just over that hill.... respectfully... I don't blame them... We all know that nothing is going to happen until the product a) gets reimbursement codes in EU (and other countries) and the FDA approves the product for ALL if its various uses here.
I like others suspect that there will be some moderate SP increase in 2019. But IF there is significant SP increase it will probably be in 2020-2021 or possibly even later.
My opinion is that CTSO has reached a "specific" investor market.. retail and institutional. It will stay there until a fire is lit under the broader market.... or a significant newsworthy situation... like Cytosorbent Blood filter saves many lives in Flu outbreak. Or some famous person with Sepsis is saved... tic tic tic. And we wait.
When I see pictures of Cytosorb hooked up to a bypass machine for heart surgery... makes me wonder what's taking so long.
Couldn’t agree more re: your caution. I’m long and have no current thoughts of changing that position... but I am not in the mood to have anymore smoke blown up my skirt by these pumpers.
9 Bucks?.… I like you... Shakin my head. Thousands of applications? Data? Every application has to have an outcome... Hospitals are fanatics about patient files... logs... stats... I'm long from ten cents here folks... point me to the data.
Can't imagine how a stock can drop...
That is what they count on.... nobody can wrap their heads around stock market manipulation. Its like you cant imagine a guy in a hi rise in Las Vegas shooting people thru his hotel window... can't happen. Or Amazon getting as big as it is … or a smart phone that can recognize your face.
Yes... scum bags look for CTSO's all the time. Share info... mark us and … Manipulate. And they are very good at what they do. UNTIL we get this puppy in the real world of PPS... with long investors. Institutions looking at sales, profit and dividends... we have to sit in the back seat and take the ride. It sucks.
