investman, according to artfink James and Jeff are different animals - I hope this is correct.
fink, artfink & artmaniac - make sure you have your shares loaded ;)
ENOUGH bellyaching on this board! Official announcement will be out shortly and it will be smooth sailing thereafter. Just hang in there for a little while longer.
not even bashers can quibble with that anymore ;)
Hey Board, whats on the agenda today?
actually this is the PERFECT scenario for high profile guys like John Anderson, Mandeep Gill, Deigo Alvarez, Susan Mitchell to get in...
* wink, wink * nudge, nudge *
note: add in Johnathan Mung in there as well!
Is there any speculation here (past or present) on which shell centaflix will be merging with? TIA.
then the question then becomes:
how many shell owner SH are there? in some cases empty shell Pinks stocks have billions! I hope that is not the case here?
That is not rumor, its speculation on your part. You could very well be correct or it could very well be other scenarios are more accurate.
Exposure?? In what sense? They can have exposure by selling shares to new SH and they will provide the exposure AND money. Come on get serious, you dont really thing that their sole motive is exposure. You know better than that.
Another question that comes to mind is this:
Since james/jeff will merge their centaflix withs this newco and be a public trading company - what benefit is it to them (not us) for them to give a big chunk of their company away to old QASP SH for nothing (assuming the QASP shares are worthless after).
I think it is way too simplistic to say they are doing it out of the goodness of their hearts as a few have suggested. Dont get me wrong, they may very well be good guys but in the business world people dont do things for nothing, this is not a charity.
Does anyone have anyone have any thoughts on this? TIA.
Yep they are getting in pre-news, after which this could easily be trading in the .005-.01+ range * wink *
could very well be
Another option to make some money would be the following scenario:
After the PR of the newco is released and share swap details, current shares of QASP starts to run (lets say it jumps to .005 - that is not bad at all). In this case rather than trading for the newco I simply sell my QASP in the open market for cash for a decent profit. In turn, I can use some of that money to purchase shares of the newco which will be free-trading shares with no restriction (as would have been the case with trade-in shares).
I agree with you, its the better of the 2 options. But some people here are putting a but TOO MUCH faith in Jeff, James and the newco. Remember the golden rule of penny stocks: Pink is Pink.
No shares to trade? That is only true if our QASP traded shares will compromise 100% of the shares of the newco - is this the case?? Lets say that the newco also has a few hundred million other shares already trading from its past shell, that will be IN ADDITION to the QASP traded shares - am I off here?? Can someone veryify this - TIA.
I agree 100% with that but others seem to think that the newco is almost a sure thing becuase James and Jeff are different animals from the rest of the Pink World.
Artfink, I hear you. But lets be real here, isnt that way ALL Pink companies say (I have heard it 100's of times)? Again, dont get worked up on this, I am just trying to protect my money and see the potentials risks here (along with the rewards). Did James actually say in any PR or email that the new company WONT dilllute shares. I find it very hard to believe they wont. Dont get me wrong, I hope you are 100% right and I am wrong as I am invested here as well. Just trying to put the pieces of the puzzle together :)
fink/Artfink/Packer:
Thanks for all the helpful replies. One more question/concern arises out of all of this. And please dont take this as a negative 'bash', rather its a concern based on my many years of trading.
Lets say the swap is done and Newco is now trading on the pinks and everything is looking great - our value is quite good at this point in time. Our shares are restricted for one year (lets assume). In the begining, our share value is looking really good, but we cannot sell due to the restriction. Now as is the case with 99% of pinks the SP goes steadily down and down (this is NOT an attack on the newco but rather an accurate generalization on most pinks as most of you know). After one year the SP could be a fraction of the value of what it was in the begining. Now we are back to square one, holding a POS stock - what conditions or actions can mitigate this risk?
I think its too simplistic to say this new stock is 'too hot' and that wont happen. Be real here. Almost ALL pinks dillute, why would the newco be an exception. I am trying to get a grasp on how we can maintain or increase our value after this mess is cleared up. I dont want to be back in the same situation after a year (too stressfull, lol). What can us SH do, if anything? TIA.
So after this is all done with, Centacom will have control of 2 companies:
1. the newco
2. QASP
I assume the newco will be the one who will be doing the day to day business and generating revenue. What do people anticipate they will intend on doing with all the QASP shares that they have after the transaction is complete? What value will it have to them, if any? TIA.
Thanks Art. Now regarding your second paragraph where you said:
Q for the board: It is very curious that QASP/Centaflix is going down this unusual path. Normally when a company wants to do some sort of merger, they agree to it via a vote and then do it. I have NEVER encountered a situation where it was the SH 'choice' - this will be an administative nightmare for the brokerages! Why would they choose to do it that way??
Also, lets say 10% of the people choose not to trade their shares and keep it as QASP (just suppose). Does this imply that the QASP will be reduced by 90% as those other shares are now part of the newco?
This all just seems very very strange...hope someone can provide some clarification.
PM me if you perfer. TIA.
yep its looking good. How will we hear news about the swap? Will it be an offical QASP PR or just some blog entry on the Centaflix site? TIA.
Joe please answer Artfinks post #230910. TIA.
dont get too excited yet, I have seen many of these types of promises before...
nothing intereting in the CC - the tech was kinda cool, but a dull presentation.
Who is Anne Hillman?
Mr. Artfink, how are you?
http://www.centaflix.com/news.html - red link says click to enter
Cosmo is in, relaxed and ready to go! * wink *
Bradley, Winwick, Joe...these characters have no conscience.
Joe why are you so opposed to the newco?
LMAO!!!
I am getting the popcorn, banana bread and tim hortons coffee ready for 7. It will be the most highly anticipated call ever!
do you think they will unoffically disclose that today in the CC.
no really, was just sharing my excitement. I see things as they are, I post both positive and negative.
who is Jeff Anderson? TIA.
QASP is HOT HOT HOT!!!
Hey Board (important),
Ivan Zhitsky of Moscow Russia wants to get into QSAP with a truck load of shares (this could really boost our stock price). Problem is that since he is in a different time zone he cannot attend the CC (his wife doesnt let him use the internet after 11pm local time). So can someone record the audio and post it on Youtube? He would appreciate and it would benefit the SP. tnx.
