It doesn't mention them because they didn't get approved 3 years ago and now there is no way to buy a meter from World Moto.
If you read up about this India has not mandated meter use. They are leaving it up to individual states to make that call, and they are giving them an opportunity to pay off govt officials.
Cueva, if you refer to the dates of these articles you can see the article referencing the use of meters was published in June of 2016. It mentions 2 meter manufacturers who are already approved by the Indian govt.
Then 5 months later in November of 2016 another article is published specifically stating the Indian govt will consider letting Uber and Ola use GPS and not require meters if they allow their calibration system to be verified aka pay money to the govt.
But if some Indian states do end up requiring physical meters -
Companies such as Delhi-based Precision Electricals and Sansui Electronics are among the companies that manufacture government-approved digital taxi meters.

Why isn't World Moto mentioned? Why aren't they approved?
It must be on purpose because the deal is so highly secretive that World Moto couldn't risk being mentioned by name so only Precision and Sansui get the media spotlight.
Or some nonsense like that?
This is the most likely scenario for Uber and Ola in India
https://thetechportal.com/2016/11/19/cab-aggregators-ola-uber-fare-calculators-validation-india/
For those who can read between the lines, having their calculation mechanism authorized by the government will be approved when they have greased the palms of those who are granting the approval.
None of Uber's websites have ever mentioned using meters and they have never posted a pic of the company using them.

That's an easy one. One is a successful company

And the other is out of business

In their last filing they disclosed having 0 employees. Their LLC has been revoked. Someone else now owns their web domain. They don't have a phone or email.
That's called being out of business.
When we see a trade for 5 million shares and then a Form T trade for 5 million shares, are we looking at the same transaction? Is it just 1 trade of 5 million shares with the MM disclosing they were the buyer and seller?
Who knows? They could have liquidated their office supplies and furnishings from the science park office and made $1,500. Point being they never actually confirmed Moto-meter sales we just assumed that.
For 4 years they gave us every update imaginable that they were almost there.. and then they shut the company down.
The people who are reading this board are the people who invested in WM are we are the same people who are looking for signs of the company's success.
No one has ever posted here stating they were able to download and use HailYes. Numerous people have tried and all said the app doesn't work. The only reviews of HailYes are on Google Play from 2 years ago and they weren't positive.
I would argue that there weren't any confirmed sales of the Moto-meter. WM said they shipped some meters and a year later they filed a 10K reporting $1,500 revenue. We assumed it was for those meters but even that is unconfirmed as the company never specified any sales.
As an investor looking at the chain of events it's easy to see WM is no longer operating as a result of never posting revenues. They told us in their last filing they have no employees. I see no reason to doubt what little the company shares with us.
A previous PR that is floated here often is that WM is positioned well for sales yet the 10K's and Q's they filed have always stated they have no money, they need money, and they are raising capital through dilution. We see all the loans in the filings. I don't understand how some people can't see the PR's weren't true.
Hi Red
It's been an interesting year that's for sure. Hope life is treating you well in Texas.
I can't reply to PM's but that does not surprise me. Ignorance is bliss!
My understanding is that Taiwan is not independent from China. China considers Taiwan part of its territory. I wondered if Hail Yes might have been an Uber app in Taiwan. This email from Cromulent Labs says their app doesn't work there. If you Google ride hailing apps in Taiwan the only articles that come up are about Uber. It looks like Uber is operating there but under heavy restrictions.
This is no longer relevant since a different trade mark has been posted for Hail Yes.
I contacted Cromulent Labs yesterday and just received a response back from them

Hi there,
Hail Yes Black should work in any city where Uber operates except within China.
Hope this helps.
-Greg
If you like Launcher, please consider writing a review in the App Store. They really help us out. Thanks!
Did anyone else try contacting Cromulent Labs or is everyone satisfied posting rumors.
Sujitta just posted the link for it.

Hail Yes and HailYes are 2 different trade marks by 2 different companies. There is no coincidence. World Moto is out of business. Uber and Lyft have their own Hail Yes app.
Guess a bunch of pieces of the puzzle just went away.
Can't wait for the 3rd quarter, then the 4th to go by so we can hear what excuses will be made next.
Lol. The facts are the company no longer exists and you keep posting articles from 2 years ago.
What's sad is you guys keep posting things that have been proven to be false.
And of course you still won't answer the question as to why these sites you keep posting say you need Google Play to download the app.
Sorry but there are less than 500 downloads as per Google Play.
Instead of posting rumors why don't you just contact Cromulent Labs and ask them. Or does that take all the fun out of creating rumors that aren't true?
Repeating something that isn't true won't make it true. Say it all you want Col the only website that matters is Google Play.
I would, but they no longer exist and they never had a plan to launch HailYes in Bangkok this year.
HailYes is trade marked.
I emailed World Moto in January with questions about it. No response.
Hail Yes is an app made by Cromulent Labs.
Pretty amazing that Uber and Lyft's Hail Yes app are actually rated. Not by much, but at least people are using their apps.
Since we always need to repeat ourselves, the app Uber and Lyft are using was created by Cromulent Labs in SF. There is no correlation between their apps and WM's Yes/HailYes app.
As usual the questions are dodged because that website and its fake numbers can't be defended.
I've seen that site too. It says 5 million downloads. Unless of course you click on the page that says 1 million downloads. Or I've seen another that said 100,000 downloads. Same site. Same app. Just gives you a different number all the time?
How do you explain you being able to view the website and it's numbers from your location in the US? It allows you to download it from the US. Minkman and Cashus both tried using the link Col provided. Cashus tried it from Indonesia.
How do you explain the website says you need Google Play to download HailYes? No one seems to want to answer this question when it says it right there on the website.
Sorry but I don't see the toss up.
Speaking of SP it's trading at the lowest level its ever traded at and the average activity is around 10 trades a day.
Because an app with 5 million downloads must be worth downloading, right?
If HailYes were being offered by another company then we would see what company is offering the download on these sites. World Moto shows it's the company who is offering it on every site that has been posted here.
Not one person has ever posted here saying the app works. Everyone who has tried has verified it does not work.
The only mystery here is why people are trying to make up excuses for this website when it's been proven to be wrong on many different levels.
"5 million downloads" and not one person has written a review!
https://m.apkpure.com/hailyes/com.worldmoto.hailyes
LOL.
Since HailYes was first introduced not one person, no one, has ever posted here saying they were able to download and use the app.
Every person who has tried has posted here that the app does not work.
The download count never moved beyond 100-500 because the app does not work.
Nothing has changed. The website is the same as it was 8 months ago. It has always said you need Google Play to download the app.
When you click APK the next screen says you need Google Play to download the app. What about that isn't clear that the app is downloaded from Google Play?
From the link YOU provided
Get it on: Get HailYes on Google Play
The link you provided states the HailYes download is only available on Google Play and Google Play shows the accurate download count to be between 100-500.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.worldmoto.hailyes
The FACTS don't lie.
The fact is the link YOU provided states the HailYes download is only available on Google Play.
You guys are too much. Someone's brothers wife's coworker went to Taiwan and knew what a Moto-meter was. And if I don't believe that story then I must be working for somebody. Thanks for making me laugh so hard this morning. Seriously, thank you!
LOL!!!
If you guys were trial lawyers I predict you would all go your entire careers without ever getting a win. You guys are terrible at providing proof and evidence of ANYTHING.
Your guess is an opinion you have that you want to be true. There is no evidence of anything you just said. Investing in hope isn't a smart strategy, especially when actual evidence contradicts what you believe to be true.
If HailYes were being operated by someone else it would not be currently offered by World Moto on Google Play. It also does not work as Cashus and minkman have both posted here.
This is pretty basic common sense stuff.
