Yeah, I figured, but who would have that? Probably not anyone on this board.
Good points. Not knowing the online store is down for days doesn't look good. Obviously, the loss of revenue didn't even cause a blip on their radar. Investors concerns need to be addressed by phone call or email not Facebook. But it is appropriate for fans to complain via Facebook.
From the Red Giant website. Although, you could have got this yourself.

I definitely agree with the PR statement. This isn't a situation where "no news is good news." No news has a tendency to create panic. Is there anyone at REDG responsible for PR?
Primarily it's one individual ranting on Facebook.
I agree, "Silence definitely creates unrest."
I'm not a seasoned penny stock investor, but it seems very strange. Something is up. . . They're not really talking about anything. Were quarterly reports supposed to be out? I wonder if they're trying to sell? The silence is thick, too thick. A company should always have something to talk about, even if it's fluff: like the progress of anything. They have have Facebook page that rarely has a status. Hell, Benny, tell us about a business lunch you had. . . Anything to let us know you and REDG are alive. You're eerily quiet. Publicize the company.
AIMEE SCHOOF and ISEN ROBBINS are producers of BLUE CAPRICE
Red Giant Media is not only a sister company, but one of the principals in Red Giant Entertainment, LLC. They have more than 30 years in the film industry and have produced over 24 films and 2 Television shows. RGM was formed in 2007 between independent producers AIMEE SCHOOF and ISEN ROBBINS. Based in New York and Los Angeles, the company is developing, packaging and producing feature films and television for independent financing and studio distribution.
Store is up again. . .

Optioned means that someone buys the rights to make a movie. A lot of books get optioned that are never made into movies. It doesn't cost a lot to option compared to actually making a movie.
Wayward Sons? I don't know if you can say it's dead. Like the response I received on Facebook about Last Blood. These projects take awhile. Maybe something happened to stall Wayward Sons. &*%$ happens. As far as REDG receiving money from Blue Caprice, it doesn't matter. It has a connection to REDG. Use it to pump this thing up. A lot to be said for REDG to connect with a company capable of putting out quality like Blue Caprice. Realistically, REDG could run at anytime given the exposure.
This movie will get wider release, as the buzz for it increases.
On the REDG Facebook page I asked when LAST BLOOD was going to start shooting, and I received this response.
"When contracts permit us to announce more, we'll announce more. It only seems like this stuff takes a long time because you saw us start from Ground Zero. When you see media announcements happen "fast" that's usually an illusion; behind-the-scenes work has been done on them for months or years before people hear about it."
How do you know that?
Looking up RED GIANT MEDIA, a different website, apparently still under construction, comes up. Although, it says it's based out of NY. Do these websites for BLUE CAPRICE have it right stating Red Giant Media? It seems way too coincidental that a company called RED GIANT MEDIA, completely different than RED GIANT ENTERTAINMENT, is producing a movie that REDG is strategic partners with. . . This is very odd. Maybe someone should shoot an email or make a call.
REDG may not receive a penny from BLUE CAPRICE, but the strategic partnership is a positive decision, and shows business savvy on behalf of REDG. I believe in this company. It's not beneficial for the present stock holders to slam the company. When I look at buying a stock, I look at the board. If someone is screaming, "Fire!" It might make me leery.
Just Googled BLUE CAPRICE. It opened today. The reviews are already coming out. Most are great! Intrinsic Value Films, strategic partner with REDG. I think it says a lot that Benny and the guys made the decision to hook up with these guys. BLUE CAPRICE is going to be big.
Hopefully the calm before the run. . .
The pps will come back up. I think it will be like last time, hitting .009, waffling around there a bit. Hopefully REDG can hitch its wagon to BLUE CAPRICE in the "news." We all know what the connection is right now. Hopefully that means there is some financial benefit also.
Interest creates volume. Volume can defeat the shorts. With volume 0f 495,000 we have no control over this. REDG needs to find a way to promote this thing, and not news of hiring some artist or writer. Some news that will turn heads. Talk about Blue Caprice, REDG's connection to it. Do something!
I don't understand. Why wouldn't they make some kind of statement? They must follow the pps as close as we do. Is it that they have nothing good to say, so say nothing at all?
Blue Caprice opens this weekend. It's hi-lited on Rotten Tomatoes for opening movies this weekend with 95% fresh. Hopefully their "strategic partnership" with Intrinsic Value Films means that Red Giant gets a piece of this action. This movie is going to be big.
Simon Hunter is in Europe shooting commercials. Is he finished casting Last Blood?
pps? volume? Someday this thing will be positive.
The news about hiring or contracting writers and artists is nice, but no one knows them or cares except for other people in the industry and comic book geeks. Almost everyone goes to movies, pays attention to movies. The film industry televises award shows honoring movies. The Spirit Awards for independent film making is even televised. SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK was an independent film. It won best picture at the Spirit Awards. It went on to win at least one Oscar (Jennifer Lawrence) and it had other nominations. BLUE Caprice is that kind of movie.
Yeah, beneath his rough exterior he's wondering. . .like everyone with a long position here, "When the hell is this stock going to run?" I'm thinking, if REDG gets publicity as a result of Blue Caprice's success. . .I think we should see something really positive this Autumn.
Volume is way too low for anything to break out.
By the way, who or what is APS?
It's not an all or nothing proposition for me. When it goes up enough for me to make a reasonable profit, like .03-.04, I'll take some profits. But I'll keep buying until then, and always keep a significant amount for the windfall I believe is coming.
It looks professional regardless of where it might be.
One shorter to another, "It's at .0115. Let's bring it back down. I'll put up 5200 for you." Really $57.20 before fees? Are you effing kidding me? Why isn't the SEC all over these guys? I'm small time. I have 500,000 shares and building. Even I don't buy less than 10,000 shares at a time.
Did get to speak with him?
Short selling itself isn't illegal, but how some of these guys conspire together probably is. I wonder if the lack of activity means they headed for the hills since Janette gave them a scare?
A little news. . .
As a rule I'm not a penny stock trader. I looked for a company I could invest in that was just getting started. A year or two doesn't mean anything to me. It's a reasonable expectation. I think REDG knows what it's doing and why it's doing it. Paying strategic partners in shares is not an unusual practice. People on here act like they've been betrayed.
I plan to ride this out. I believe I will make significant returns on my investment.
I don't think his intent is to drive the pps down. What purpose is there in giving shares to the Intrinsic Film people? I think this is why.
At one time or another, most startup companies work with a consultant or enter a contract with a strategic partner and are presented with a dilemma: should the company offer equity to the consultant or strategic partner in payment for services? For a cash-strapped startup, issuing stock or a warrant instead of paying cash is an easy way to preserve limited cash reserves while still growing the business. For a growing, successful startup, consultants and strategic partners may ask to receive equity instead of cash because they want to share in the company's upside potential. While equity can be a useful tool in these situations, you should be careful about when and how you use it.
On the Intrinsic Films page it shows the Red Giant logo, and stated they're "strategic partners" whatever that exactly means.
Blue Caprice has 100% rating on the Rotten Tomatoes website. That's wonderfully unusual. This movie will get "wheels". Major award nominations are likely for this film.
