The pumps seem to have disappeared! I'd hazard a guess that the "players" might be running out of promo money. Where do we go from here? Despite adding the Kimberly-Clark guy as the CEO, Harmon will still pull the strings.
Nada...they are just going to change the name!
This announcement makes it look pretty positive for the future, but the .10 per share miss, which was announced today, will constrain growth in the share price. I've been in and out of SVA many times over the last five years. It's troubling that they just can't seem to manage costs and pricing to the extent it will deliver a positive financial result. Maybe the EV71 will be the answer. This morning I exited at $3.96 and will sit on the side for awhile.
Thanks! I'll check it out.
Right on! For me it's a "blind squirrel finding an acorn deal," but I'm not going to apologize!
Is it "material" even if they didn't consummate an agreement (only an LOI)? Maybe the five mil will come tomorrow! And the $5 mil will probably be backed by company stock. Do the math...it's ugly! Probably ain't going to happen!
Someone posted the share numbers yesterday. If I recall, the outstanding was 203mm out of 400mm authorized, as of last November...lots of room to add to the outstanding! Was SMA paid in stock???
Well put! I'm with ya!
Geez...the activity on this board is really in the toilet! I bounce between here and ebay only to see the smiling Frank Woo in both places! I understand the purpose of the "pump" on iHub, but EBAY? Aside from the ads, the cheerleading seems to have disappeared. Anyone see anything different?
I set up a GTC trailing stop and hope GNIN has a nice run. The crystal ball says the daily "pumps" might start again tonight or tomorrow. Another blast up to $3.35 would be outstanding, but that might be somewhat ambitious (do ya think?)! There'd be a couple of Beck's Dark cracked at $1.30 to $1.40!
Back in, but skeptical! Based on the info thus far today, Harmon is still THE Board of Directors and money "manipulator."
Great piece if someone is just interested in getting a complete picture of the Bakken. On the other hand not sure only 5800 acres without any specific info re: known reserves and no money to drill (recall the $5mm from Ambrosia is only an LOI) provides much comfort. Yesterday someone posted that the company has 400mm authorized shares and roughly 200mm outstanding (150mm to Lanin Group for drilling rights?), but this info is as of last November. If authorized shares were to be distributed, would BOPT have to file with the SEC? To me this big pile of authorized, but theoretically not outstanding shares, is the gorilla in the room!
Amen! I did the same! Rode it to up $3.35 (looked at doing a stop before it got to $3.00, but the stock dividend hooked me to stay in), down to .38, then back up to $1.60...out with a relatively small loss (about 15%). Got in again, but in late March couldn't stand to sit on it over a weekend...out with another smallish loss. Back in at $1.10...out at .95...another 20% hit. One might suggest that a number of small losses might be viewed as a big loss. That would be me!
Thanks! After asking, I checked my email and got the info. I gotta contemplate the possible meaning(s) of this! Nothing associated with GNIN can be taken at face value. Call me a cynic, but GNIN makes me nervous. I've been a in and out a few times. "Out" right now.
Haven't yet seen this announcement. Any indication if Harmon is still involved. Given he is/was the Board of Directors, it would seem hard to move him out. Maybe someone decided the "pumps" are no longer effective with Harmon at the helm.
Not the most active board! Got any ideas re: the recent slump? Per Yahoo, Q4 earnings were to be reported today, 4/15. As near as I can tell, it didn't happen. I did a quick check and couldn't find anything about a date change. Got any info? I've only recently been introduced to iHub. Most of my time has been spent watching active boards that are mostly associated with OTB pump and dumps (my opinion). I'm long TPLM and also long BOPT. Both are doing the Montana Bakken. TPLM appears to be a real company, but BOPT seems to be the classic p & d, i.e. no cash, 400mm authorized shares, and no end to the promotion. Spending more time tracking TPLM might be an opportunity to return to semi-reality! You long?
Nope...sorry!
BINGO!
Unusual...no "pump" so far today. GNIN out of promo money?
Did BOPT pay for the SMA, etc. promo(s) with stock? Dilution?
I'm long, with 3 entry points between .139 and .215, but only playing the pump! There are far too many "loose ends" re: BOPT. Here's the "disclaimer" from BOPT related to the Ambrosia Letter of Intent: "...the company's management expects that the LOI to conclude with a successful agreement but gives no guarantee." The $5mm financing is not a done deal.
"...anticipated receipt" of the report does not mean it's out or exists! If actually does get released, it would be great! I'm skeptical!
WRONG! Geez, there's a boat load of testosterone on this board!
AMEN! With the exception of the winner or loser, nobody really cares!
If BOPT is a gas and oil exploration company, why the $3.3mm marketing budget? Oh...that's right...the stock needs to be marketed! Geez! Last Monday (4/8) was my intro to BOPT. It came via ChatterBoxStocks.com, which "commanded" adding BOPT to the subscribers' Watch Lists, i.e. "...be sure to place BOPT on you watch list immediately." No "pump" since last Monday, but it would not be shocking to see one tomorrow or Monday. ChatterBox is one of 5 promoters under the Tribeca Investment Affiliates Ltd. umbrella. I'm long and "averaged" (again!) just before the close at .139. Not being too greedy, mid-20's on Monday would be just fine!
I'm probably not the guy to ask! There was a great opportunity to "kill it" when GNIN was above $3, but I took a break from the screen (bad idea if you are screwing around with P&D Penny's like GNIN!) minutes before the February crash began. I also should mention that earlier on the "crash day" (2/19), GNIN announced a 24% stock dividend (ya gotta love it!) for shareholders of record on that day, 2/19. Details were to be forthcoming after FINRA had signed off. I got "hooked" with being a "shareholder of record" and didn't sell, riding this beauty down to .38, then back up to $1.60...almost a break-even! I've tried a couple of more times, with mixed results, but have turned into a coward! I'm staying away until there's a little clearer indication of a trend, including some volume. GNIN is on the dime for a 10Q and it will be interesting to see what happens! My advice is "stay tuned!" One guy, running everything with no oversight, makes charts and that sort of thing almost useless!
Yep, I've run into various comments re: the Brighton Group doing the GNIN pumps, but for me the connection between the Brighton Group and Intermedia Communications is allusive. Can you clarify?
Early on (a few months ago) GNIN's business was as exclusive North American distributor for a Chinese company by the name of American Hygienics (a Chinese company with the name American Hygienics????). Purportedly, American Hygienics is basic in supplying things like hand wipes made from bamboo rather than trees. It's an eco story, i.e. "use quickly grown abundantly available bamboo..." GNIN has "evolved" from this early direction through brand purchases and/or licenses to stuff like paper products. So far, based on several announcements, Sensational brand toilet paper is the hot item! On the other hand the company is still promoting its relationship with AHI. One of the recent press releases indicated negotiations were being finalized re: global distribution rights for AHI products. As one post mentioned, Bruce Harmon is "the man." Harmon has a history a mile long! In the case of GNIN he is everything, i.e. THE Board of Directors, CEO, CFO, etc. It's hugely convenient to be "The Board." There is a second employee (I don't recall the name) that is basically the king of sales. That's it...two employees. Some of the promo materials reference the Board of Directors. Again, it's Harmon only! If you ultimately cannot find the complete list of the email promotions, let me know and I can forward the 39 Traders' Insights. Hopefully you can find them, 'cause forwarding 39 emails would take me away from pursuing other opportunities to get thrashed!
Started following this one in early Feb. It topped out with an interday of $3.35 on 3/19 and closed at $1.43 that same day. GNIN had an interday bottom of .38 a few days later. The pump is coming from Intermedia Communications Inc. Intermedia seems to be the umbrella or is being compensated by the umbrella for at least 4 promo titles, i.e. Traders' Insight, National Traders' Association, Dividend Seeker, and Investors' Alliance. My title of choice is Traders' Insight, but from what I've seen all these epubs deliver exactly the same message. I have copies of 39 different TI pumps dating back to Feb. 12, meaning there have been 39 pumps in two months...nearly one for each business day. In each of the promo titles the Disclaimer indicates it is being paid $35,000 per week by Intermedia. In mid-Feb, prior to the charge to $3.35, an outfit by the name of Market Research Worldwide issued an analyst report recommending a Strong Buy and target price of $5.62 for GNIN. In its Disclaimer MRW indicated it was paid 2.6mm euro (roughly $3.4mm) by Intermedia from funds delivered by an unknown 3rd party. I haven't been able to find any specifics re: Intermedia, but my gut is the company is located in the UK. GNIN did another run to over $2 since the February crash, but has been around a buck since 4/1. Through all the action, I managed to get a little "beat up" and am on the sidelines for now.
Smart!!! Recall the crash from $3.35 happened after a brief run up on a Monday. It was also the day GNIN announced the 24% stock dividend, which managed to suck Mr. Clever (that would be me) into holding! Ain't going to happen again!
Seems like they can sell toilet paper, but it would be most special if they'd get back to the original mission, i.e. eco-friendly wipes and tampons from China!
Wow! I've been suffering under the allusion, given the "legalese," the Disclaimer had to be truthful. Good info!
Awesome stocks is under the Tribeca Investments Affiliates umbrella. Another promoter under the same umbrella is CharterBoxStocks.com. ChatterBox also did the AXXU pump. It's disclaimer said, "...up to $70,000 for the release of this email..."
