Thanks. Other than stock compensation were other expenses just operational in line with past quarters?
Can you dumb this down for me. Looks impressive to me but expenses seem to be keeping pace with revenue. Have I read that correctly?
You can send the collective bill I'd be happy to handle it for you for a percentage of the wager.
Regarding the skunk cabbage, which as you know is a hybrid of Carolina swamp cabbage and skunk root. A few tweaks and we can turn it into a first class hallucinogen that could provide some guidance on what is to come for us. You can throw in the tea leaves reading, goat entrails and a kabuki dance and you should be able to take us to the promise land. We have been through this over and over again. Right now the way I see it silence isn't all that bad with the history we have for negative results on good news. I'm hoping we are past that. I'm afraid that unless we come in with a recording setting number, and I mean by 50 plus percent of anything before, we will continue to be bounced around like a $2.00 dollar whore on Saturday night.
Respectfully
JDJlaw
Double thumbs up to you.
I'm not a sophisticated financial guru like yourself billable hours are what I'm all about. Speaking of which yours are rising faster than the National debt. I will take payments in goods and services so a couple of 18 or 21 year olds will probably satisfy your bill. Wondering what today's numbers would convert to post split. I'm no account only a simple country lawyer. A little free advice I wouldn't trust either to much.
JDJLaw
I like where this is trending. However Training of law enforcement is a key aspect of this. There will also need to be experts from the company available to come to court to testify about the technology if these cases go to trial. I think all of that is easily done. But the company my need to include in there contracts with law enforcement to account for this training and expert testimony if needed. Maybe offer training as a selling point to encourage acceptance.
It has been a relatively good news the last couple of days but this stock reacts to good news like an ambulance chasing lawyer. Of which I am not one. (Good news for client is bad news for his lawyer ). I deal with murders, rapists, drug dealers and thieves. And then there is Sharkey that has his own category. ??
VR
JDJLAW
About that ass rash. I can send you some swamp mud but no guarantee it will cure anything. Also need to closely read the potential side effects. Ass rash might be the least you your concerns.
Was there a limit on how many shares could be traded at one time today? 2% up day with NO VOLUME. I think I'll go yank the top off of a 21 year old. (Scotch)
JDJLAW
That quote from the recovering lawyer is right on the mark. One lawyer causes frustration, two lawyers causes confusion, more than two lawyers involved is a Charlie Foxtrot. ( Cluster Fck ). It amounts to job security.
What is with the volume? It's lower than the swamp bottom I harvest my herbs from.
Jdjlaw.
I've been monitoring the board while I have been busy with scumbags, liars, crooks and thieves. And those are the other lawyers and then there are my clients that I have to deal with.
Sharkey I can't have people trying to counterfeit my all natural herbs of Carolina swamp cabbage and the hybrid skunk root. No medicinal value but can be used to calm you, wire you up and or drop some unwanted pounds. Any guess on earnings report. I like the new patent how do we turn that into revenue?
JDJlaw
That law applies to me as well. I'm sorry I didn't worn everyone about that in the past.
JDJLaw
This baby is very predicted. Every time there is a positive PR ( I know that is debatable with the recent PR) this thing drops faster than Sharkey's pants at the local T & A club ( Yea I know I've said that before but it's still funny). ??
Jdjlaw
No doubt. Happy to see we are reacting appropriately to good news for a change.
Jdjlaw
Certainly is a contradiction in the trend.
Roger that on the Skunk Root hope it keeps until the snow melts. Expect payment in the usual way, reducing your legal bill. By the way, if you get in trouble north of the Mason Dixon line costs you double. What's your take on tomorrow? Wouldn't mind to much if it traded like today, except with more volume. By the way, say high to your wife and my kids. Stay safe Brother.
Jdjlaw
Yes. It was my lame attempt at a little humor.
Good to see the PPS is holding steady today I'm in the center of North by God Carolina and nothing here yet. Safe travels all.
JDJLaw
I was in El Paso once where I fell in love with a Mexican girl. I'm still riding the Range with you Sharkey but I'm getting saddle sores and I keep choking on a lot of trail dust on this ride. Seems like it is always a foregone conclusion that good news for us follows a cliff dive for the PPS.
jdjlaw
Welcome. You have just signed with a very knowledgeable group here. I'm only here to soak up the wisdom. And about that lawsuit. It wasn't dismissed because APDN didn't have money. They have plenty of assets that could have been used to satisfy any judgment. Plus the BOD could have been on the hook for any judgment if they had a lawyer that knew what he was doing.
If I remember correctly, it was dismissed with prejudice, but not sure about that. It was more likely it was dismissed by the plaintiff on there own Motion because it became apparent that the Complaint had no merit. If they lost they may have had to pay all of APDN's legal fees which could easily be several million. Anyhow I don't think you need to worry about that happening again. Just my opinion. As always it's worth every penny you paid for it.
JDJLaw
I am truely sorry to hear of your loss Brother. Your father certainly could not have done better. Beautiful woman inside and out.
JD
That was suppose to be a thumbs up. I hope we all have joy happiness, success and great cheer this coming new year.
I know it was discussed but I was hoping someone could educate me on what APDN will be providing that would generate the minimal income.
I have read the transcript from the CC and saw we finally had a couple of questions from this Board addressed although not satisfactorily in IMHO. It wasn't made clear to me how we generate income from the DLAs decision to mark their own parts, but maybe I'm not smart enough to understand it. Also the addition of 6 new FSGs is some good news I guess. But my concern is will there be any FNGs (Fking New Guys) added to the payroll. With a near doubling of expenses and a somewhat flat line of revenue the past 3 years, I hope not.
JDJLAW
Couldn't have said it better. I'm with you all the way on this Brother. If he is able to expand the business why not make him an employee and give him a mean nothing title like Executive Vice President of something nur nuther and base his pay on what he brings in the door, instead of putting him on the Board of Directors where he can suck from the Company teet while shareholders root through the Bovine excrement for something to put in their pocket to feed the family with. This is starting to smell worse than a College Dorm room after an all night beer drinking and egg eating contest. Just my thoughts.
JDJLAW
I've been monitoring the board while trying to earn an honest dollar. Ahh hell, you know I'm a lawyer so you that's not completely true. But WTF is going on? We get called up to the Big Leagues and we get flooded with Dog Turds and a pps nose dive. It was so bad today that when I got home my 17 month old son started kicking me!! Yea I'm old enough to have Grandkids like my twin Brother an younger Sister, but this old dog can still hunt. I think my Son has just figured out that his old man may have just pissed away his trust fund. It's almost enough to cause a man to have a seizure and need brain surgery. Wait, I've already gone through that over a lot less. I've tried to relax with a sixteen year old, then tried the 18 year old but nothing seems to be working. Tell me there are better days coming or tell me where I can find a somewhat reasonably priced 21 year old that can take my mind off my troubles.
jdjlaw
Thanks CK the muddy water is somewhat clearer for me. I could even fake my way through any of those calculations. I was studying for an International Business degree for a little while then I ran into a stats class that kick my ass. Settled on Law. I figured that a person who finished last in law school was still called a Lawyer, a person that finished last in Business School is usually called unemployed.
Thanks. I trust what you're saying, it's all Greek to me. For all I know you laid out the calculations for a manned flight to Mars. But I'll believe just about anything, just ask Sharkey. We were going to meet up for the first time, he told me to look for an Irish Rambo, turns out it was more like Peewee Herman.
jdjlaw
You and GO are playing way above the rim for this country lawyer. I have trouble pairing my socks up on most days. The bottom line is there will be dilution right? But the percentage is somewhat unknown.
JDJ
The DLA article is interesting. An objective reading seems to favor APDN but I'm biased. What do you know about Chromo logic? It seems to me their product would be difficult to work with when trying to confirm authentic parts.
I don't have a good come back for your attack on me so I guess I'll give you more ammo. I grew up in Arkansas. Don't like the Royals I'm a Cardinals fan and I only go to bed early if I know I'm not going to go to sleep to quickly. You being a
Virgo says a lot "Analyzing, Practical, Reflective, Observation, Thoughtful". I on the other hand am a Leo "Ruling, Warmth, Generosity, Faithful, Initiative". Well maybe it says more about me than you. W T I have primo spirits for you. I give the "Squids" (said with affection) the bottom barrel stuff. Back on topic does anyone have a clue, guess, hunch, tea leaf prediction on when the RS is going to happen? I know most of us thought it would happen by now. Is there any advantage for waiting until the end of the year or the first of next year?
VR
jdjlaw.
Very nice work. I'd give you a nice bottle of Scotch but I owe about a case to Sharkey already for uhhhh well never mind. It would be nice if this translates into real gains.
jdjlaw
A little reverse psychology. Something to ponder but I don't think we could get the Company to go along and I certainly don't want to much truth in something like that.
We don't have a great track record with PR's. Seems like every time there was a PR with some good news the pps drops faster than Sharkey's shorts at the local T n A club on a Saturday night.
VR
As always
JDJ
Agree. I think McS makes those asshats.
There is nothing unusual about the3 Judge not awarding attorney fees. He/She is basically saying you won, now go home. If there had been a trial I'm confident that the Judge would have awarded the fees.
jdjlaw
You been partaking of that Carolina Swamp Cabbage again? I'll vouch for your near constant state of being under the influence of some kind of impairing substance or another. The person putting out the "PR" may also have been under a similar substace.
jdjlaw
This "PR" from Smartwater is complete Bovine Excrement.(I'm a professional when it comes to B S). You don't dismiss a complaint for Patent infringment because you may not get a monetary judgement. If they were able to get a judgement, a lein could be placed on any assets the Company owns and the Board may have been on the hook personally for any judgement. The main purpose for the lawsuit is to prevent the infringing company from continuing to use and make money on the patent. This case was dismissed because Smartwater didn't have a chance of winning. Once they lost the case then it could have cost them several hundred thousand dollars in Attorney Fees. Not only their fees but also APDN's attorney fees.
jdjlaw
Thanks. I agree the 60 is the logical choice from the company standpoint.
Is it possible that the RS could be 1:50 instead of the two we have talked about? The no less than 1:40 and no greater than 1:60 tells me it could. An thoughts.
jdjlaw.
