And thus the house of cards of the LIE that is the United States falls even further!
Exactly.
As far as I know, Sam has nothing to do with SKTO. So now we're accusing SKTO of being guilty by association? So if your friend does something stupid which you had nothing to do with, you should be held accountable in some way?
This is a good sign. This means people are loading up at lower levels. Wouldn't you want to buy this stock cheaper if you could?
Strange amount of action around lunch time after a pretty lackluster morning. Don't have any idea what it means, just noting it.
And from the FCC website:
http://www.fcc.gov/guides/public-and-broadcasting-july-2008#SPONSORSHIP
You are repeating a known lie over and over and over. And you claim you have good intentions.
"The Communications Act of 1934 established the FCC, which, in turn, regulates the broadcasting media. In response to the payola scandal of the 1950s, the FCC established guidelines, known as "sponsorship disclosure" rules. These rules apply to both pay-for-play and advertisements alike, recognizing that consumers deserve to know "by whom they are being persuaded". Of particular note to advertisers is Section 317 of the Act, also known as the "Announcement of Payment For Broadcast" provision. It states, in general terms, that where money, services or other valuables are directly or indirectly paid to a radio station, in exchange for mentions on the air, the station must disclose that fact. For example, if a cell phone provider gives a free cell phone to a station's DJ, who then talks about that cell-phone provider on the air, perhaps mentioning what great service he has, the announcer must disclose that it is an advertisement."

You keep saying the interview was paid for. Do you have any proof of this? You don't, because it wasn't. Your lies don't seem to be doing anything negative to the stock though, so that's okay.
Okay, so now I have one of you claiming that the interview was a "bait and switch" (I'm not sure how they mean that, since nothing was baited or switched) and that the interview was ineffective.
And another one of you is claiming the interview was real but just a ploy to sell shares.
You guys are just throwing crap at the wall to see what sticks.
Um tomorrow makes 13 days and only the 9th business day since the record date.
What bait and switch? The interview happened. And the stock is up over 40+% since the announcement of the interview. I would call that a run.
So the interview is a conspiracy to divert attention away from the dividend? lol. And you accuse us of nonsense. This is becoming more and more like a kook conspiracy theory, except some of those are more believable.
Another 7.5% move higher after a 34% move higher on Friday. Things are really looking up for SKTO. Expect to see some more PR and more visibility in the near term.
http://www.rick.com/rick-dees-daily-dees/
hit the next button to skip the intro. Kevin is up first.
Nice connection. This also suggests that Larry King, or his people, sought out SKTO to do this interview and not the other way around as some posters around here would like to imply.
You think no one listens to Rick Dees?
Lots of healthy trading going on today. Sure, some people are selling. That seems pretty normal to me after a stock has risen 34% on a Friday is up another 10-15% roughly the following Monday morning. Some traders like to take a little profit here and there. This is normal activity!!
As for me, I haven't sold one share. And don't plan on it. Let's go $KTO.
lol. Yea, it could have nothing to do with trying to avoid onerous government regulations, or perhaps state taxes... clearly every company that pops up in texas, delaware, or nevada ("to name a few" -- how many states exactly are scam friendly?) is an illegal scam.
desperate desperate desperate.
Yea guys! Shorting stocks is a total myth. No one has ever shorted a stock before ever. And if they have, they would never lie about!
You all know I am a long here with a milly+ in my account, but I have to say this is getting ridiculous. No news at all from the company. Kevin and Jeff do owe us at least some correspondence. (I pick on them because they have corresponded in the past) When is the interview? What's up with the dividend? We are the ones funding this thing. We are the investors. What exactly have they been doing recently.
I am Okay with investing in a company that fails. But if I find out I'm investing in a company that didn't even try, well... I will not be happy.
Do you think everyone in the entertainment industry (why did you capitalize that?) knows everyone else in the industry. It's a big industry. And a lot of times people that work behind the scenes don't get very much recognition, therefor only the people that directly worked with them know who they are. Are you saying Allyn doesn't know anyone in the industry? He seems pretty well connected to me.
And as for Jeff, there are plenty of videos you can watch of him as a legal analyst for Fox Sports (a pretty big sports news organization). He is definitely real.
IT should be 1 share for every 3.62 shares of SKTO you hold.
Everyone who owns SKTO at the end of trading today (4 pm Eastern) will receive shares of AEGY. These shares could take a couple weeks to actually be given to the shareholders though. And this is completely normal. There is always a stock dividend record date that is usually 2-3 weeks prior to the payout date.
Guys the dividend record date is tomorrow. We knew there would be shenanigans this week. Everything is the same as it was. It's not like bad news has come out.
WAR IS PEACE, FREEDOM IS SLAVERY, IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH, and CE REMOVAL IS ATROCIOUS.
This is good and all. I am a huge fan of competition in the market place (call me an evil capitalist) but I think this guy is getting way ahead of himself. The drug is only legal in two states, and decriminalized in 21 out of 50 states. I would rather be involved in a company that is starting small in a state where it has been tolerated for the longest amount of time, meaning that the business likely has all the support it needs. I do wish him luck though because any good news in this sector is good for the entire sector.
Yea, I would never go into business with Donald Trump because he has some blemishes in his past.
Ha, right!
It is your contention that he has been 'forced' to work for them? So there is now some sort of extortion going on. Also, I thought he was a nobody and a fraud. Why would Hipple go through so much trouble of extorting a nobody to front his business? This sounds like the most half baked (pun totally intended) plan I have ever heard of.
So you are admitting that MMJ use is a legitimate thing now? And this company, and by default us capitalist a$$hole investors, are preying on it? Ok, but you admit that MMJ is a legit thing now? Cool.
The only problem I'm having with your post is that the pun should have been intended!
Apples and oranges are twins compared to what you're talking about.
Okay, so illegal drug dealers selling pot online = legitimate MMJ companies attempting to make it easier for their legal customers to acquire their medicine for their cancer.
Good math there guys.
Do you, or your friend, not understand how the stock market works? You and I could trade each other the same 100 shares of stock all day long and rack up 1,000,000 shares of volume. Volume has nothing to do with supply. And actually, the volume compared to shares outstanding has not been "huge" at all as you claim.
Hey, I can't private reply to you, so I will publicly talk in code.
I already know. I can't wait to report to you my findings in the near future. $KTO :)
So if PumpsAndDumps and CANORML agree on something then it is automatically a case against investing in a company. This is amazing research. I wish you had been one of my college professors, because I would have learned so much from you.
How about that beer sometime?
Motion to dismiss granted!
See, I can pretend to be a judge as long as SCM is pretending to be a lawyer.
Does this mean I should stop getting all of my investment advice from stoned pot activists??? Where the hell else can you get good economic advice?
Thanks for your work Elly.
Correct, it will be distributed to shareholders at the close of the day everything is registered and settled with the SEC. This process could take 2-3 weeks. So don't be selling any shares! In fact, buy more.
Ok, let's break this down.
They are distributing 100 million shares of AEGY to SKTO shareholders. Since there are ~362,000,000 shares outstanding of SKTO this means each shareholder will get 100m/362m (.276) shares of AEGY per share of SKTO. So if you have a million shares, you will receive 276,000 shares of AEGY (or $772.80 at the current pps) as a one time dividend.
Thank you I-glow!!
