Nice price action today.
Good point, Millstone. I believe the shelf life is 3yrs ?
Jay, I know you have a plan on your shares. It's been said on this forum recently that things are beginning to move at a faster pace and in the right direction. Would love to see a midday news drop. That would rattle some on the other side.
We need to think baby steps at this point. All the other is pure noise. imo. Lock down those shares and hunker!
At least we are holding our ground after the R/S. This is all we need to do until the nod is given. Big guns are working during this pivotal week!
LOL. Compensation packages on deck and should provide all, us peasants, with warm fuzzies.
GILD CEO, Dan O'Day mentioned that it takes 6-7 mos. to manufacture remdesivir.
Well said, Knuckle.
Grest News indeed. "Major Milestone"
The DSMB, composed of independent subject matter experts, conducted a pre-specified interim analysis after 50% of the expected recoveries were captured in the trial database.
Can a seasoned issuer effect a reverse stock split to meet the minimum bid price requirement for initial listing?
A seasoned issuer may complete a reverse stock split to comply with Nasdaq's minimum price requirement for initial listing. Generally, when this happens, Nasdaq will require that the issuer continue to meet the price requirement for a minimum of five consecutive trading days after the split takes place. This means that on each of the five days the issuer must at some point during normal trading hours have a price which is at or above the applicable initial listing criteria.
Nice timing! Thanks for posting.
My account is cash, not margin. I'm sure that my shares will not be used in this scenario and protective measures have been taken. When it comes to a margin account I'm not 100% sure how it works. Both sides of the debate always occur. The way I see it is it couldn't hurt and if it helps then great for my investment. Thanks for the information.
This float is about to get really tight!
All longs should consider locking out the shorts from borrowing their shares. Set a sell limit GTC at a high price today. Make sure you check status in your account Monday pre mkt. to see if your order is split adjusted. If not, then cancel it and enter a new order GTC and new sell price.
In 5-10 days we should all be good, fingers crossed.
Gotcha! Thanks, man.
WOW!
I've also heard that setting a GTC order on your shares in a cash account will prevent them from being borrowed. Not sure if this is true, or not. Is this part of your strategy with the GTC sell order @ 41$ you've talked about?
It is common for a company when doing a R/S to get a new CUSIP number issued to the stock, post split. This has been my experience. Someone please set me straight if correction is needed.
The company should issue an 8-k after the split is completed. I'm guessing sometime early next week. Great News about your wife, Jay.
I am asking in a general sense.
Amen, brother!
Hey Engineering,
A question for you. Does a naked short have to cover before or after a new cusip? or does it depend? tia
All this has been a bit confusing to say the least. There's been so much going on with this company in such a short period of time. If they pull this off, both Durrant and Chappell, will deserve every bit of their salary/compensation package and then some.
I just don't see big money fumbling on this one. By the end of September we will be a Nasdaq listed company, imo. If not? time to reassess. Thanks for sharing all your hard work and perspective, Jay.
My prediction for uplist is Sept 28! Price is Right rules apply!
Isn't NIH carrying our BET expenses minus the drug?
I found this part straightforward: re:a reverse stock split
grinch, got a link?
Hey Jay,
Not sure if you saw this post on R/S uplist guidelines. Just a FYI, my friend.

Lens still in mAbs pole position as -Covid-19 front runner. Keep an eye on them Camo.

Would love some midday PR's to shake the short tree. First infused patient in Phase III Brazil would be a nice appetizer.
"Chairman and CEO Cameron Durrant, MD, MBA, told GEN August 25 that the company will “shortly” recruit its first patient in Brazil, where regulatory agency Anvisa earlier that month approved the company’s launch of a Phase III study of lenzilumab in COVID-19 patients in Brazil."
Save the big guns for next week, if needed.
Hey grinch, remember you guys from the AVXL board. You have your work cut out for you over the next few weeks. I'm looking forward to watching it all play out. Gotta run, Be good.
I see no reason why PIPE, or other insty investors could not add shares in the open market. This would help establish a significant bottom for the next 3 weeks until we meet guidelines to uplist.
That's the way I see it. Have to trust that management and the money invested in them know what they're doing. I am long and accumulating. GL
R/S is scheduled to go into effect 4:30pm Friday. So, Monday the 14th we start under this guide. imo.
FYI
Can a seasoned issuer effect a reverse stock split to meet the minimum bid price requirement for initial listing?
A seasoned issuer may complete a reverse stock split to comply with Nasdaq's minimum price requirement for initial listing. Generally, when this happens, Nasdaq will require that the issuer continue to meet the price requirement for a minimum of five consecutive trading days after the split takes place. This means that on each of the five days the issuer must at some point during normal trading hours have a price which is at or above the applicable initial listing criteria.
Please note that Nasdaq may, in its discretion, also require an issuer to maintain the required minimum price for a period in excess of five consecutive business days, but generally no more than ten consecutive business days, before determining that the issuer has demonstrated compliance. In determining whether to require a longer waiting period, Nasdaq will consider the following four factors:
*Margin of compliance (the amount by which the price is above the minimum standard);
*Trading volume (a lack of trading volume may indicate a lack of bona fide market interest in the security at the posted bid price);
*Where applicable, the market maker montage (the number of market makers quoting at or above the minimum required bid and the size of their quotes); and,
*The trend of the stock price (is it up or down?).
Lenz on top of the front runners list. That's the way I like it!
