Just want to say hi to the board and thank you for all the posts. I used to be on here 24/7 as a mod... Those days have long passed but I remain long and strong here.
To be clear and as transparent as possible: I studied biomedical engineering, specializing in biomaterials and with in the medical field as an engineer. I was long and strong since I first reviewed the research regarding silicone nitride - there is a good reason Sonny, Zimmer execs, et al are associating themselves, at minimum; Genuinely-new biomaterials with regulatory clearance come extremely rarely, especially in the category/niche that Amedica operates in - less than a handful in my lifetime. The IP that Amedica owns is worth far more than most here are aware of.
I flipped for quite a bit heading into the last RS and afterward but ultimately went long just above $1 in one of my small accounts - fully prepared to be deep in the red knowing I had to do nothing more than wait until I was massively in the green. I suppose I didn't feel like taking that account anymore and wanted to give long term capital gains a try. Other accounts I have a much lower average and yet I still expect to accumulate more early next week. I am not concerned at all about the position I hold assuming that in the end some terminal agreement will contain - at worst - a shade of fairness. I'm prepared to hold long term, in the event of no deal, with confidence that the best technology and treatment will prevail.
Again thank you all who contribute to this board - I read every post with appreciation.
OMID
I have major confidence in this one from here.

Yeah profitability and the size of revenue here is pretty impressive for a stock at this level.
Not to mention the actual float is tiny since insider ownership is enormous.
Could be very positive over the next few weeks as some promoters may decide to latch on to a promising story here.
My main concern is that the revenue has dropped quite a bit YoY but to be fair I have not and likely will not attempt to understand the exact reason why - it could be good.
Best, OMID
Did anyone check to confirm the XREE has $20 to make the acquisition?
In before positive PR blitz to break the pattern and shorts at the same time.
1. Telomere added to thyroid test
2. Coverage in Philly
3. Patent PR?
OMID
I am having trouble understanding why they would delay the 10K. Seems more likely they are waiting for something good rather than something bad which they would instead be able to hide for a whole longer still.
Doesn't make much sense either way. Yet.

Nice. I recently fasted this past November for a week and lost 13 pounds. After gagging back water weight I lost about 6-7 lbs of fat.. which equates to around 3 liters of volume. I've been intentionally trying to gain fat during the three months that followed but it has been difficult because fasting increases your metabolism. I believe we have discussed fasting here briefly long ago.
Fasting is one of the most underutilized tools that we have to cleanse our bodies while losing fat mass and treating/curing a variety of ailments like diabetes, alzhemiers, and cancer. People taking insulin for diabetes for years can come off of it and the related concoction of meds quite simply with fasting - sometimes after only two weeks. The diet fad industry is robust much like the food industry and of course the medical/pharmaceutical complex: they all significantly rely on people remaining confused when it comes to the concept of a natural, healthy diet. I highly recommend reading this book: The_Complete_Guide_to_Fasting.html?id=8RBDDQAAQBAJ&source=kp_cover&hl=en
On another note - with respect to the flat Earth conversation - you mentioned the immense distance of the sun and how the relatively tiny distance from the equator should not have a significant effect which we experience as the seasons: "how can a couple thousand miles from the equator make a difference?". You are now scratching the surface of optical physics and if you dig a little deeper you will understand both the reason why we have seasons while simultaneously destroying any hope or belief you may have had that the Earth is flat.
Best wishes and keep exploring all concepts.
OMID
You nailed it in my opinion.. I would've definitely bought more at these levels but management killed my trust and confidence that they're not just going to dilute again at an even lower price.
It's really absurd that they didn't do larger offerings instead of 4 small ones.
And then to put the final nail in the coffin the CEO claimed that they wouldn't need additional financing anytime soon just before the most recent financing. Truly, it is pathetic management and utilization of the company's equity and positive developments but I think they will eventually make up for it with their scientific acumen.
OMID
Grabbed a handful ofshares at 6.3 (10ma) support. Monday will be interesting with short restriction.
IDXG
thanks Hugo, your insight is much appreciated.
I am sure it takes a lot of experience to understand the process flow of a dying company.
I have been flipping this thing lately.. only for short term profits.. maybe I'll err on the side of caution for the long weekend.
Best,
OMID
Agreed. I'm looking to load up at some point here before the end of the year.
Maybe Sonny will share another oem partnership before year end. We were told that the would be 4 this year.
I studied biomaterials in school and I truly believe in the long term future of this company. My only concern is financing - perhaps there will be one additional round before profitability.
It depends on how the newest fda approval impacts sales. I can't wait to see how our new Zimmer sales guy is doing but there is quite a wait for q1 earnings.

If I was a whale trying to load this I would keep it below the 10/20 MAs. Usually when a stock breaks below these and doesn't regain them within a few days, it's relatively easy to make it drop substantially. The carnage prompts even the strongest hands to unload, making for an amazing loading dock.
The fact that this didn't tank after breaking below the MAs hints (at least for me) that there are multiple whales playing this game. They are greedy but not desperate enough to just but outright yet
Glad to see you are still strong and long. Appreciate anything you can share.
AMDA
Glad to have an excellent reason to return to the board. I've appreciated the intelligent conversation happening here as I've been mostly lurking for the past several months.
Congrats guys. Let's see where she goes from here.
AMDA
Nice buy. I saw it at work at 1.31/1.32 and had to add more to my position.
AMDA
Nice, I've been flipping this thing since the solitude financing dipped out below .3 toward .1 - it has been a great ATM. This time I believe I will hold on since I'm quite busy these days. If it pops hard on some news I'll probably place a stop loss but I really think this is undervalued to say the very least.
Patience is going to pay off, possibly at least ten fold IMO.
AMDA
Added more today. Almost locked and loaded. Expecting a nice move here over next couple months.

Just loaded up. Going to load more over time.

Hey guys, how you are all well.
There is not much to say but I will say this: if people understood what the federal reserve was all at once today, it would be gone tomorrow. Sadly - for them - most couldn't understand financial complexities of their life depended on it (which of course it does and they still don't). For us, however, untold opportunities are created by widespread ignorance.
Regarding the BLS comedy show: I'm glad to report that I can confirm one of those new manufacturing sector jobs in May. That much is true and should explain my absence. I still have intense confidence for this company as an investment so long as the world didn't go entirely to hell and even stocks and brokerage accounts get bailed in to save the morally bankrupt banks and corporations.
I plan to move a significant portion of my income into physical silver. I think we will get deflation before inflation but the crazy antics to fight a mega global depression will prevail with hyperinflation on the end. The central banks are increasingly owning literally everything (in Japan, the CB is a top 10 shareholder of 90% of Nikkei stocks and is on track to be top 3 shareholder of all by end of 2017)... The trend is clear. Creating fake wealth to buy all real wealth will inevitably result in a competitive scramble buy up all the gold and especially silver.
Stick to your guns boys - and perhaps, but some ammo. You are riding the gravy train; things only have to heat up a little longer before whirly bird passes out in the coal mine.
Best,
OMID
This is precisely how I'm feeling. 3 years of hustling and now an opportunity to park in AMDA and wait for the pay out.
Just finished 3rd week at the new job. Glad to see this board had been getting some nice attention and quality posters since then.
AMDA
Based on the previously discussed recent financing and the requirement for daily VWAP to be below the NOTE price ($1.43/share) by EOD May 20th, in order to receive 300K "True Up" shares, the target has been reached as of Friday, May 6th with a daily VWAP of $1.42
Meanwhile, with reference to the chart: the candle for the day was an inverted hammer which is known to signal reversals. The RSI is now at an extreme low not seen since November on the original sell-off that plunged the stock down to the .10-range. There remains a significant support line at $1.4. I am betting that this week will be good for longs.
I am going to place a buy order this weekend and walk away for a few days, devoting my concentration on the new job.
Good luck guys, hope you are all doing well -- you know who "you" are.
AMDA
She's looking good, nice and stable in this area.
Edxc
ok, good to know!
In other news:
Sadly, today is my last day of day-trading. I'll be going for longer-term investment horizons henceforth as I will be busy working during the day.
GL flipping this thing guys, I really can't make calls intra-day anymore. THe wedge as I have drawn it may not stand but I expect the horizontal support at $1.4 to hold for us... barring financier manipulation for "True up" shares.
I intend to own Amedica medium/long-term though so I'll still check in and analyze the chart when there are things to be said about it.
AMDA
Looks like Amedica's device-type requires the most time to pass FDA review.
Good to know that the delay is a normal part of the process.
Thanks for sharing your correspondence with the board.

Looks like an unknown timeline or already withdrawn -- explains the share price quite well, perhaps the withdrawal is priced in now:
Yeah, I just came to post the latter article... seems like the breadcrumbs end there for now. Hard to imagine what could have stopped it dead in it's tracks; the doctors who conducted the 24-month study must've been pretty content with their findings.

No response yet. I am with you, but still really hope it goes as planned for the company.
I'll look around as well and compare notes w/ you shortly.
AMDA
Nice add... I took a new starter position (~7k shares) in the low 1.5s -- GL to us!
AMDA
I like how the MMs are absorbing the bid whacks at 1.5 -- hopefully no stop hunt coming sub-1.5 or sub-1.4 even.
Thanks for COH break-down... slightly comforting. When exactly is FDA news coming? Perhaps we will have a "buy the anticipation, sell the news" event.
AMDA
Smart money fears the company will rescind FDA application, IMO.
I added some 1.53 since the uptrend line of the wedge was perfectly tapped.
If there are still two weeks before news regarding FDA, there is time for another little rally.
AMDA
The warrants are essentially free so long as they make good on their investment with the notes.
Could be significant profit 5 years down the line with 200k warrant..
I'd probably dump the notes to get my money back and try to trigger the 290k bonus true up shares.. Hedge against the fda decision coming soon.
We'll see
Thanks for pointing that out!!! Missed the keyword NOTE =/= WARRANT. First Exchange NOTE/WARRANT are two different things.
-- Bit disappointed I missed this but that's why we collaborate here.
This is the best information regarding the entirety of the deal in question, I already read it but was looking for the Second/Third warrants
http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1269026/000149315216008645/form8-k.htm
Small excerpt where there clearly define them separately:
Refer to it all you want when it applies but keep in mind the current share price and how it will relate to your later comedy routines. <3

Oh boy, we are embarking on a glorious journey.
Gotta thank some of board members for the good analysis through thick and thin and the resident counter-indicator for the stubbornly good laughs such as these gems:
Well, it appears that there is no warrant associated with the Second Exchange Note, at least none that I can find a specific mention of anywhere.
So it's 290K shares. The terms for their issuance have already been met.
Now the question is how much will each creditor hedge against their positions? They can sell short on any pop and just wait til their conversions come due to cover. The warrants last longer than the notes and I bet they wouldn't mind riding for free for the 5 year term.
The warrants are convertible for 6 months to 5 years.
http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1269026/000149315216008645/form8-k.htm
From the April 5th SEC filing:
http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1269026/000149315216008645/ex99-1.htm
The lowest daily VWAP since April 18th was $1.65 at EOD on Monday, April 25th... same as current VWAP w/ 28.6K traded today
So it's safe to say that the 140K "true up" shares for the Third Exchange note have been awarded.
AMDA
Looks like Riverside simply needs to get the daily volume-weighted average price (VWAP) to close below their warrant conversion price to net a bonus 440K common shares, essentially for free.
You can bet your a$$ that they will do just that. It appears that they are on the threshold of accomplishing this task.
First Exchange Note ($1M + warrant):
True Up period: April 4th + 20 trading days
150K True Up shares have been awarded
Warrant to buy 100K shares; Convert price: $1.62/share
Second Exchange Note ($1M + warrant):
April 18th - May 13th
Unsure of covert price for warrant of 100K
Award of 150K shares possible
Third Exchange Note ($1M + warrant):
True up period: April 27th through May 20th
140K shares to be awarded in consideration
Warrant to buy 100K shares; Convert price: $1.66/share
