Great catch Gov!
"The primary objective of this trial is to evaluate the rate of complete remission of AML in patients receiving Kevetrin alone or in combination with cytarabine."
This speaks VOLUMES!
Go Kevetrin!
From the January 20, 2015 press release:
Additionally, the Principal Investigators for the Kevetrin trial have requested that the Company start preparing a presentation to be used for an article on the safety and pharmacological effect of Kevetrin on multiple cancer lines as demonstrated in the clinical trial. Cellceutix interprets this recommendation as a very optimistic sign regarding anticipated outcomes for the trial and clinical advancement of Kevetrin.
Folks, there is an article coming out on the SAFETY and PHARMACOLOGICAL EFFECT of Kevetrin!
GO KEVETRIN!
Ihub showing the ask at 3.98 at 0655 EST. probably nothing but got me excited for a split second nonetheless.
GO CTIX!
Leo runs a lean machine. "Billions" he doesn't have and certainly doesn't need. Grants, Aspire, the FEDS (via BARDA) all have our back. Kevetrin and BrIlacidin have both been blessed with funding that has NOT come from any of us and that speaks volumes.
Since we are fully funded for another year or more, no one should be worried about running out of money today, next month, or the month after.
GO CTIX!
Kmbjn, well thought out. I only want to add that the updates to clinical trials .gov lag so it is VERY possible that a trial had started without it being reported on that website.
Go CTIX!
This may play into the timing of the K publication and ASCO... BIG SMILES from where I sit!
The National Cancer Institute and the American Society of Clinical Oncology are collaborating to illustrate models of team-based care at the NCI-ASCO Teams in Cancer Care Delivery Workshop, February 25, 2016, and in manuscripts for submission to the Journal of Oncology Practice.
Teamwork involves delineating roles and responsibilities for multi-disciplinary care across many settings. At a time of increasing expectations and pressure to demonstrate value in oncology care, this project will explore how oncology care can provide an effective model.
If you have any questions, please email teams@asco.org.
OVERVIEW
The National Cancer Institute and American Society of Clinical Oncology launched Teams in Cancer Care Delivery to apply the science of team-based care to oncology. Clinicians, researchers, and patients will author manuscripts and presentations involving concepts of team-based care and clinical scenarios addressing a point in the cancer continuum, evidence-based concept, and cancer type.

Thank you Slcimmuno, your due diligence is the Ultimate. These amateurs need to recognize your talent.
GO CTIC and GO BrIlacidin!
A question for our resident statisticians:
How many patients are required to ensure enough statistical power of the study?
I was just thinking that there may be enough patient data for B if you add up Phase I, II and IIb to just call phaseIIb a phase III and be done!
GO CTIX!!!
Mandatory quiet period maybe?
This dip is only realized if you sell. If you hold its a different reality. Its seems significant but only if you boarded since The QDIP designation. If you came aboard afterwards you need to just hold till the next leg up and realize that they don't happen every quarter but the potential for it to happen this year is incalculable and more likely than a Cd return.
Go CTIX!
Well said, this conference is NOT a binary event.
Go CITIX!!!
Thanks!
Go BRILACIDIN!
We don't need a deal for B thanks to BARDA. Leo, has this Ace up his sleeve and I believe he is using it as leverage during negotiations.
GO Brilacidin!
Frrol, Im with you on this issue.
I think its considered "Targeted Cancer Therapy" under the subcategory "Aptosis Inducers"
I got this from the National Cancer Institute:
Apoptosis inducers cause cancer cells to undergo a process of controlled cell death called apoptosis. Apoptosis is one method the body uses to get rid of unneeded or abnormal cells, but cancer cells have strategies to avoid apoptosis. Apoptosis inducers can get around these strategies to cause the death of cancer cells.

Go Kevetrin!!!
Look, swipe the foam off the late. Kevetrin, Brilacidin and Prurisol are all poised to advance in clinical trials. Those examples don't quite line up. Too far of a stretch.
You know trius was 6 days of therapy and only on Abssi.
Ha!
Show your figures
"They", should go back to j@hoo board were the amateurs hang out.
Go CTIX!
We have too much progress to be reported on.
You are here to shake the tree before the next leg up so your timing may or may not work but in any case it will NOT stop CTIX from advancing B or K so respectfully, nice try.
GO CTIX!
Suhweeeeeet!
Only if you a cronie
Thanks John B! We are locked and loaded! GO CTIX!!!
Thanks!
Well said. No one evere discuss P's potential for autoimmune diseases.
GO CTIX!
Ive been saying BARDA for B since that PR referencing that Executive Order. Its got to be the leverage that Leo has been using to make any deal more favorable. We do not need additional funding to develop B since the feds will bank roll it.
GO CTIX!
No, but it is very telling. Kevetrin is viewed as safe because the change was concerning adverse effects which haven't been a problem"
Take a look at the original blurb:
"because they often develop progressive neurologic dysfunction that would confound the evaluation of neurologic and other adverse events"
Since K is safe there should be no confounding of neurologic events.
GO KEVETRIN!
On March 2nd, the clinical trial for Kevetrin was updated and now allows for patients with brain tumors. Prior to that they were excluded because of their poor prognosis.
This is a very important vote of confidence. Most drugs have trouble crossing the blood brain barrier and secondly these patients die very fast.
I read this as the investigators are seeing results in the current study.
https://clinicaltrials.gov/archive/NCT01664000/2015_03_02/changes
NICE! A clear third party verification that Kevetrin restores P-53 function!
We got a winner!!!
ITS SAFE TOO!!!!
GO KEVETRIN!!!
I also wonder about the medical ethics involved. If there is a measurable benefit to these terminally ill patients, would they stop providing Kevetrin to them? I would say that is effed up if they do, so the only alternative is to continue going forward and turn the trial into a phase II of sorts.
Just my .02
GO Kevetrin!
Sometimes daily.
GO CTIX!
A wolf in Rabbit clothing.
Go CTIX!
Its just speculation on my part but perhaps they left the trial to join the growing CTIX team. The timing and the fact that 3 left at the same time made me wonder and I have concluded that they were fired or quit. I prefer to think that they resigned themselves of their duties in order to pursue a greater opportunity.
GO CTIX!
All ahead Full! If anyone reads posts for a month or so they can pick up the nuances of the reincarnations without reading the signature line, so yup!
"We have met the enemy and they are ours"!--------Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry
GO CTIX!!!
Well put 58! Newbies can't believe so history will have to repeat itself once again.
Go CTIX!
NICE Catch!
Go Kevetrin!
"Elsewhere in the pipeline, Cellceutix is also now engaged in scaling up the manufacturing of its lead Gram-negative compound for treating Klebsiella species and Escherichia coli (E. coli). Grant money studies are ongoing and data is expected in approximately one month"
Looks like April could bring fireworks!
GO CTIX!
K is NOT cytotoxic. Its not made to destroy cells, it is made to restore P-53 function.
Of course too much of any one substance in the body can have adverse effects but this should not be confused.
Go Kevetrin! GO CTIX!
NICE!
I wonder if there's a Waffle House in Mass and if Leo ever stops in?
We are in great company here and Im wishing all a VERY GREEN year!
Go Brilacidin! Go Kevetrin! Go Prurisol!
Question, once we are flying high on the NASDAQ, is still cool if I drop in to have breakfast at the Waffle House every now and then or will that be beneath us? ;)
I love hash browns covered in gravy and CTIX!!!
