Thanks. That seems like a reasonable guess, as good as any guess I have. I will be watching closely. Would be nice to grab more shares lower but I don't want to get left behind either. It can't be too much longer until this train leaves the station. Can it?
I am also interested in your rationale. Not saying you are wrong, but that is very low, can't go much lower. Is it high amounts of short interest? Figuring there is enough muscle that will be applied to drive it down that far? I said the other day that I would take anything I could get in trips which seems exceptionally low to me, but sure, I would rather get 4's and 5's than 9's if they are out there.
Glenn definitely did a lot of us a huge favor by showing people the door. I think Glenn has shown more people doors than Monty Hall... <ba dum bum>. Now let's see what deal he has up his sleeve next.
Really dead. The calm before the storm?
Indeed. I am loading up everything I can grab down here in the trips. Grabbed some more today. Will get more if they want to sell them. Eventually this one is going to fly high. In the meantime I am not sad or worried. I will take advantage of the long depression and keep buying what I can.
Hi agree. Given recent events and the fact that it ran over 3 cents on the GG momentum last year, it is exciting to think about where the share price could go with news of a settlement.
I am interested in hearing thoughts from others on where the price could go. All speculation of course (no quoting anyone on it or viewed as real advice). Just curious on what others think whether it is their gut on how buyers could get worked into a frenzy or based on solide facts with guesses at a settlement amount factored in. Interested in seeing the range from pessimist to realist to (somewhat) pie in the sky.
What do you guys think?
I am really looking forward to that as well. Cannot wait actually. I think the long patience shown by many is about to be rewarded in a huge way.
I agree. There is money to be made here.
Thanks. Anxious to see what they come back with.
What is the next milestone date in the lawsuit? I believe the last filing was around June 26 and the response was due in either 20 or 30 days? That would make some action due in the next week or two? Am I missing anything here?
Quite possibly a very wise move. It sure doesn't take much at these levels to significantly pull down your average share price if you have been here very long at all. If it heads back up than you can recover a good chunk. If it goes into the abyss then you likely have not thrown much more good money after bad. I do have a little gambler streak in me, so I have done likewise. If it does go all the way in the tank, I won't feel too bad about today's gamble, worse about earlier buys. GLTA.
Is it at all plausible that with the low low share price and e recent flurry of volume, that the company could have executed a chunk of the authorized buy back? I would think cash would have been available (would not take much at these prices) to get a nice chunk done. But would they have had to file something that would have alerted the public, as inside buying does? Would be great if that did occur, but guessing it is not likely. Hoping to hear of some positive developments soon, for all of the longs. Good luck to us all.
Another trading day with volume over one million shares. Some are still buying. Will those shares be enormous bargains or losing gambles? We continue to wait.
I can understand Glenn not wanting to be speculative and only report facts as they have occurred but it is hard on the long suffering longs to continue waiting with seemingly no end in sight. Tough situation all around. Here's hoping for positive developments soon.
I've been known to take a gamble or two. I guess a few of us around here do.
Significant volume moving today. We had 1.9 million shares move on another day last week including a single trade around 1.5 million shares or so if I recall correctly. What do you guys make of that?
Thanks for posting. The Receiver is evaluating future course of action to maximize value of company. Wondering what could possibly be maximized at this point as the greatest asset has historically been the patent which has essentially been rendered worthless. No rush to wind things up, is there any realistic hope of recovering any value from this investment?
If I am not mistaken, those were signed over to Daic as part of the settlement a few years back. If I am mistaken, I am sure someone can jump in and correct me.
I agree that shareholders are owed a conclusion at a minimum. As those who have actually been wronged we are owed much more than that although I am not holding my breath at this point. What has occurred is truly criminal. Still curious as to whether sirhaggus will get the update he was promised from the receiver too. So many questions.
Thank you for clearing that up. I do not want to be helping to further any misinformation. The three years windup has been repeated so often that I thought it was confirmed. GLTA.
Approximately another year and a half limit on when the receiver must speak, right? I would like to think you will be correct about the relationship between judge/receiver/firm, that he would not give them a losing proposition. Unfortunately that does not mean we will be made winners in the deal but maybe the good guys catch a break at some point.
Thank you for passing that on sirhaggus. I wonder what it could be. Would this filing be public information that can be located by shareholders?
I agree. To me that is just mind boggling. Why didn't he put everything he could into it otherwise why bother at all? Another CLYW mystery that will likely never be solved.
So halfway to the finish from his appointment? Does it just completely vanish at the 3 year mark or will there be another twist in this saga? So many questions and to this point no answers. It's a crime.
Ugh. Unfortunately it seems that you are also correct in your assessment. Hoping you are wrong, as I am sure you do, but it is not looking good for us longs. If anyone has some good ideas I am all ears.
Sadly, I think you are correct in your assessment. Things indeed do look bleak for the shareholders at this point. Hoping that something will turn the tide in our favor.
Fair enough. If that is the case then I would understand the receiver not laying all of our cards out on the table if there are some prospects for raising revenue somehow. But I still think he could at least send us some message that he is on the job and working for us regardless of how few hours that job requires at this time. And I would not imagine he has too much active work on our behalf.
It could be that all we have left to do is wait for the clock to tick down and see if anything materializes. I guess only a select few really know for sure. Very frustrating for the suffering shareholders indeed.
I would agree with the notion that the receiver is legally bound to satisfy his obligations to the owners, the shareholders. As to enforcement, I cannot speak. Will we be disregarded as a minor nuisance, not important enough to engage. I hope we will have a better fate than that but cannot say I know.
As for the statement about a $50,000 stake, there are certainly investors that have more (some have much more) at stake here. Will it take one or more big investors to step forward to see some movement?
Is it time for shareholders to organize and raise our voices? I think it may be...
It has been 3 months. The shareholders deserve some answers.
I don't know but it seems we have passed a point that it is reasonable to have no communication with the shareholders, the rightful owners of this company. We deserve some answers. We deserve much more than that but I am realistic.
Certainly seems like we should be hearing something anytime now. Six weeks and counting since the decision came down.
Yes, thank you. Certainly cannot hurt.
It has been more than a month. We continue to wait. Do we get an update soon or can something else possibly occur?
Sadly I suspect that you are right. Such a waste.
Very true. This theft is absolutely criminal. Disgusting.
I do have another question. What is the status of the "other" case that was filed a while back? Was that combined with the case that was denied today or is that still looming? I do not recall hearing a resolution of that either way.
That just rubs salt in the wound. Not only is justice not served, we are not even given the courtesy or dignity of an explanation. Draw your own conclusions.
Thank you for posting. Very disappointing news if not necessarily surprising.
What happens now? With this case dead it would seem we are at the end of the road? I can't imagine there are any assets to divvy up. Does the company and stock just vanish while shareholders get to take their losses and move on?
Are there any other possible developments?
We have passed the 48 hour mark. No news is good news?
Me too, my friend. I would not mind getting a chance to swap out my sticky too.
I don't think there was much downside for the Receiver to let this go forward. My guess is it is not demanding much of his time for now. The Matthews firm's bills are either being footed by Daic or there is agreement to work on contingency. I would doubt there is much for the Receiver to do until there is some money to distribute. And I think that only happens if this case is successful. The only real asset they have right now is the patent and that is probably worthless without a successful outcome in this case whether by jury or settlement of some sort. Doc said that the Receiver was in a hurry to leave the hearing. I think he is minimizing his time spent for now.
