"Leo was not clear if the hospitals were American or Russian? I'm leaning toward the US since the FDA gave them the blessing. Would be nice if both countries had B available..."
I'll havee to check fda website for a listing of compassionate use compounds granted for covid use. Would think fda would make available such a list and update it as needed to assist medical professionals.
We'll see.My response was based on sp history, easy to resurrect, but does fluctuate at times. Historically downward.
"I believe it would be Against HIPPA rules. Cannot release name of hospital since then it would be narrowing down which patients might have requested it and or receive it. Also would be not what the FDA wants to see as a possible “PUMP” and also would create an enormous amount of phone calls to those named hospitals requesting info on the patients."
There are patient right laws. I find it hard to believe that a hospital which has requested use of B for covid(emergency use/expanded access) would, or could legally, name ANY PATIENTS.
If the doctors administering B see promise, I doubt there is/would be a barrier for further care.
"Sounds a little like....

And don't forget Nerby's pen pal!"
That post triggered my ipix ptsd. One can only hope that the accountant has turned over a new leaf.
"Yes, plural... Brilacidin sent to more than one hospital for compassionate use.
Quote:
The pr said hospitals."
I wonder if ipix is prohibited from naming the hospitals? I wouldn't think so as it's not used as blinded study. Would also think it would generate interest from other physicians to contact said hospitals to inquire.
"Then explain why we got it and the 300 or so other covid trial drugs did not?
Please list all covid trial drugs that have gotten from the FDA what we just announced this morning!"
https://fortune.com/2021/06/07/covid-emergency-use-authorizations-fda-euas-therapies-drugs-medicines-pandemic/
"I'm missing the problem. The data isn't locked yet. This is a multinational trial run on a shoestring budget with a bargain CRO. It's likely at least another month before we get TLD."
No, it's a bi-national trial with a small amount of patients- with most in one country.
"But I did learn one thing that I didn't know before while trying to confirm your statement, thank you. Leo Ehrlich was still pumping the prospects of Prurisol right up until 5 weeks before he announced its actual demise (link previously provided)."
I visited the office in late 2017. The accountant was on holiday but I did speak with km. My last question- when do you expect to finally have P results? Answer- late Feb or March 2018(after being pushed back more than once previously). Investor's were finally informed the end of 2018.
I think the double ended wind bag is out of breath.
JMHO.
I'm holding my remaining shares to sue. No other reason. Wakefield is vacant at last check.
"Lemoncat and KFC, I would gladly walk the plank with you both, if it comes to that, though I would much rather stroll into the bank. GLTYB"
I'd throw the captain overboard first. I'm in the bellows of the ship and have no influence on its course. The course is the responsibility of the Captain. It appears we sit in shallow water with an outgoing tide.
"I wouldn't go so far as the end of the company, as there are still lots of good potential products on the table, but it sure helped delfate our pps and many of our hopes, imo."
There may be "lots of good potential products" as you note, but, historically speaking, Captain Fantastic knows not how to sail.. He should be made to walk the plank and leave direction to the deck hand, Ms. Harness.
What do the BOD do?
"Caveat…the last time I bought shares the stock was .265 and I placed an order for .262, got ‘em at .259 and IPIX went to .225 the next day. I still have those. Today I got another chunk at .257.
We’ll see what happens!"
Brave soul you are or....
GLTY
"Figuring around .18 for data release then the final plunge... One or two large volume days of mass selling... Leo will crawl with B/K to the auction house... Maybe he'll fetch 5 million for B and 2 for K..."
Doubt he gets diddly for k. The inventor, Menon, is long gone after a "successful" ph2 for k (2 patient study) and nary a word of it since with, apparently, no interest from anyone.
"..... I would love to see IPIX delelop a nasal spray to irradicate the virus in the nasal mucosa of folks who have been vaccinated...Apparently vaccination irradicates the visus in the lungs and systemically, but not in the nasal mucosa....thus those infected yet vaccinated can still spread the virus....Long!"
I would love to see them be successful with any of their purported uses of B.
"At least 2 senators are watching for P2 results."
Which 2 Senators? Where did you read that? Source?
The ankle bender is not quick of mind nor fleet of foot and should be sent back to youth hockey(even figure skating lessons as I believe he's a one man team).
We'll certainly find out.
"people are going to look back on today as a missed opportunity. ipix"
There's been similar talk like that over the years. First week of August 2015 sp opened ~ 2.55 and closed at 2.05 and the song was the same from some.

That article was one year ago exactly. Happy anniversary I guess.
NOT WHEN THE SAINT"S COME MARCHING IN. They 'twont make it over the thresh hold based upon info released to date.
"Prurisol...it's back."
It, apparently, never left- just changed names/lanes.
Go brilacidin!
Happy fiasco to all!

"Although I post this as a reply to JonAnon, I would like to hear from anyone who is knowledgable. I am quite long in IPIX (for me), and started buying in 2013. I have witnessed all the trials, promises, and delays at every stage. I have seen the crashing of the potential over and over. I also see the possibility that IPIX and B are pink sheet frauds. I also see the possibility that B is the real thing, but that there are powers at work to squash it until they can develop their own product with B's capabilities. So my question is what rights and powers do the shareholders have to investigate what is going on at Innovations, probably by hiring a forensic accountant or some sort of consulting firm or get an investigative reporter interested. Possibly the wait for B's day will end very soon now, but past experience has been that there will be some sort of delay thrown across the path of approval and release. Do we have to wait forever to find out what is really going on, why there has been no buyout or partnership, why there has been no grant, why so much of the trial had to go to Russia, why Leo is not shouting from the rooftops "Pay some attention USA! Don't you see that we may have here the cure for this horrible and costly pandemic of COVID-19." (We can do without the replies from the professional detractors.)"
You/we have every right to investigate when in question- and, more so, w/o answers.
Perhaps this poster can help (sounds like he/she could to me).

"The yammering and slobbering office dog maybe got a proper dose of Brilacidin humble pie. Jane Austen is complicit."
She'll be ok, her 6 million dollar man(no, not Steve Austin), the accountant, will sweep things under the rug.
"I have confidence they will go well.....the only question is the following:
1 - do we get government funding and go at it alone
2 - do we get a lucrative partnership
3 - does big pharma buy us out completely..... ....."
Ah, that's three questions, isn't it?
"The pettiness of pennies moving up and down everyday means absolutely nothing to me....."
Really?
"Are you backing into that conclusion? What makes them an accelerated filer? I don't think that they are.
If they were an accelerated filer they would have to file in 75 days. They have been filing as a non-accelerated filer since the 10-k for the year ended 6/30/19. It's based on the market value of shares held by non-affiliates. I don't believe the latest calculation has brought them to the point where they have regained accelerated filer status.
The 2 week early 10-K filing from last year remains unexplained to this day, but it MAY have had soomething to do with:

Maybe I missed something, but I do not think the sec recognizes alot of "holidays"(Evacuation nor Patriots Day in Boston for example) including the ones you listed- most, if not all, are left up to the cities and towns. Many do, but not all.
At work we cover for one another during religious holidays- the people who inform c0-workers of their religious obligations advise those who are of a different faith, and the work gets done. The company never has come to a standstill in 96 years- nor should it( they would have croaked long ago).

Yes, I finished where I started, in direct response to your sentences. It just happened to come around full circle and I closed it out.
Thanks for the thoughts- that's what these mb's are for, I take it not personally, and take (most) comments under consideration.
1. "A lot of longs would disagree with you."
This company is not followed by many, nor do they have many investors(50-100 if I recall).
2. "in fact, the one thing that is hard to argue is the CEOs ability to navigate trials on a shoestring."
Shoestrings wear out, time to replace the lacing.
3. "without this ""skill" we would have been out of business a long time ago.""
What has his skill proven to be? How has it benefitted anyone other than him? Why haven't BP's recognized your proclamation?
4. " We can obviously agree to disagree (or disagree to agree:)"
Agree,as it should be.
5. "The collapsing share price made it difficult for years to raise capital without huge dilution..
some folks (like you?) are unwilling to admit that..
and instead put all the blame on the CEO."
CEO's typically bear the brunt of any company's performance.
6. "But again, many here would disagree with you."
There aren't many investors of this stock.
"Money"?
The accountant does not lack, personally, of money. Every penny that's dropped in the top of "the company" piggy bank seems to escape through a hole at the bottom into his hands. He knows not the meaning of sacrifice for the better good, imho.
Down to two, including him, nary a word from any other employee combined with no annual in person investor updates in years. Has /does he know where the Wakefield office is? How often is he there? I think it harbors JH as she lives close.
The Kevetrin inventor(Menon) is suing him(the company), Evans didn't depart with good words of him. The ~15 employees that were there not long ago are gone.
That quote sounds like a blow hard response. I guess we'll all find out how factual the author's words are.
"Is this really happening? Hospitals full and turning away patients?"
I don't believe that's the case. There are alot of people trying their best- to treat, aid, and comfort those stricken and others working towards a fix, as well as other professionals advising the best thought course of action based upon what's been learned to date.
Unfortunately, those on the front lines are suffering battle fatigue and are leaving their post as some refuse any attempt to defend themselves.
As my mother advised my 7 siblings and I very early in life(5-6 yo), fight your own battles.
