"The model hasn't changed here...pricing is based on what the market will bear. Merck knows, as should we, ..."
https://bantinghousenhs.ca/2018/12/14/insulin-patent-sold-for-1/
Things change...I guess. What follows below is from above.
About the sale of the patent of insulin for $1 Banting reportedly said, “Insulin belongs to the world, not to me.”
"Molnupiravir costs $18 and is selling for $700 in western markets."
$700 company charge/$18 company expense yields a GROSS profit to the company, if what you stated is true.
Guess that's the way the new world works. Appears 10% overhead, 10% profit is, evidently, no longer practiced. Economic rape is, apparently, the new business model.
Who ultimately pays? Dopey, or most?
" wonder if anything has ever happened in the Wakefield virtual office. I suspect Homeboy E has been holed up in his Florida abode all this time. What a "company."
I bet he's been at the office in Ireland and really gets his hands dirty spending all these days looking for his first four leaf clover.
"I think the key wording is dying of Covid complications, which means the patient had other core morbidities. The thought is Covid tip the patient over the edge."
I reckon I have a co-morbidity, type 1 diabetes - 42 years. I'm astonished, and aggrevated, each time I go into cvs to pick up a 90 day supply of insulin. 42 yeas ago the Mom and Pop Pharmacy/convience store would have it filled in two seconds with barely a wait lest they
were at the front of the store selling general merchandise. He would then walk to the back and put on his white coat and hand over the insulin.
Pharmacy customer lines are now are like cattle wating for their time at the trough.
Holy crap, you know the specifics of his un-specifically stated goals...and accept them w/o question.
Ignore
It knows, it's just not stating a complete/honest opinion,imho.
Go ipix!
The concerted pump seems to be fading.
Well played indeed...against those with deaf ears and blind eyes.
The accountant flips the bird at sh's once again.
Insulting.

"...But, Huxtable said, another medication that hasn’t gotten FDA approval is being used to treat COVID-19 patients. Drock signed a special release so his wife could receive the drug Brilacidin, he told Nutt.""
Where, exactly (please define by paragraph number and the following sentence number). Sorry if I missed your above reference...I don't think so.
"When results are published I hope Leo also makes it clear that B's anti-viral abilities doesn't stop at covid-19. "Brilacidin has shown potent and consistent inhibition in vitro against coronaviruses, alphaviruses, bunyaviruses and adenoviruses (with lab testing against other viruses also underway), supporting Brilacidin’s development as a broad-spectrum antiviral".
Sounds familiar. Hope it's not a rinse and repeat.
From Leo Ehrlich in the press release of May 24, 2016
"We had always wanted to explore Prurisol's clinical merit, as it had excellent results in laboratory studies. We put it to the test under some of the most demanding conditions, with respect to the IGA versus PASI scoring systems; short treatment duration; low dosing levels; enrollment that included patients who were previously treated with biologics; and evaluation in mild to moderate psoriasis patients, where it can be more difficult to achieve a meaningful therapeutic effect. To see such a strong response among patients, achieving clear to almost clear skin without serious side effects-the downside of biologics-in such a short period of time, is exceptional. We would like to thank patients and investigators who participated in the study. Prurisol has taken a key step towards potentially becoming only the second oral treatment approved by the FDA for psoriasis in decades."

"You dug up the relevant story but your reading wasn't quite up to snuff."
Xzactlee, reading(and comprehension) is fun to mental:).
Blame falls upon those who deceit and beguile followed by justice upon them.
"Not even John Ashcroft and Mike Sullivan could do it. We must be dealing with some sneaky shorts.
Go IPIX!"
Ashcroft was used in, name only. Judge Failia, of the Southern District of NY, was not convinced by either the plaintiffs or defendants arguments, and dismissed the case w/o a finding, if memory serves me correctly.
"Buy it low while you can. Phase 2 data comes out and it will be too late. It will be hard to catch on the way up." Been said for years=at much higher sp's. Please stop.
" NS are going t die a 1000 deaths on this bad boy."
Another long time proclamtion w/o any proof. Eve Alan has stopped posting that crap.
" Just remember, Brilacidin, Kevetrin, GMU BioDefence dept, Military interest, FDA early release for compassionate use, Best Buy this low while you can."
If it's as promising as has been proclaimed, I'd advise any newcomers to place ipix on their watch list rather suffer the fate of many sh's throughout the years. If it possesses as much promise as you and the company proclaim.
"IMO this is a once in a life time stock. Like buying applehope/ when most people thought it was a fruit company."
Once in a lifetime stock (opportunity) for who....the ceo of this Nevada Corp..
"I've long felt that B for IBD-related issues could be the defining moments for IPIX. This recent journal article emphasizes what seem to be the strong suits of B for IBD related issues. We can only hope Leo find the money and the wisdom to follow through here effectively."
I first felt K(kevetrin) could be the defining moment based on company statements, etc. I lost hope with K after a twenty person phase 2 resulted in 2 patients enrolled followed by encouraging words by the company of that 2 patient study- silence since.
Then there was P(prurisol).~270 days late and many shareholder dollars short of even close- after accolades by management prior to WAY LATE results.
B for ibd remains to be seen- heard by only forward looking statements from "management"
B for C we may see.
Holy Crap.
Where does this stuff come from?
Holy crap! Not hard to measure a leader for crying out loud.
"I agree! I hope Leo takes the BioNTech/Pfizer deal as blueprint. A Brilacidin licensing deal structure could look like this:...."
BioNTech has a formidable brain trust. Not so much here(ipix), historically, by comparing resumes.
Let's hope for the best!
Go ipix!
"You would instigate a shareholder lawsuit if shareholders vote for a $1B buyout?
You would instigate a shareholder lawsuit if shareholder vote for a buyout that is 10x the current market cap and 2x the all time high market cap?
Come on man. Listen to yourself.
Go IPIX!"
This balloon (ipix) has been losing air for years. The Wakefield windbag appears to have run out of air- which likely explains his apparent refusal to conduct annual in house/tele shareholder meetings, out of breath.
How can one NOT WONDER what he's hiding/not telling sh's?
Ah, no. It's the man behind the curtain that renders this stock a failure.
He'll get his comeuppance.
"Lots of it made sense to me. Which part(s) did you consider crap?
Be specific :o)"
Much made sense to me as well.
Likely to get a long, not so clear, response to your question I'm guessing.
"Yet i see many OTC stocks that are trading well above $1 and with so much less than we have. I tend ti think it is something personal someone or group have against Leo that is keeping us down."
Perhaps they've met him.
"I don't know why he doesn't recommend Brilacidin for his hospital...its the humane thing to do...he is responsible for those sick people that are suffering....shame on TIAB!!!!!!"
I wonder why the accountant apparently didn't include well respected hospitals in his own back yard in the pursuit of excellence? I wonder if the research universities in and around Boston know of B? Why not?
Expect the Boston Business Journal will soon report. They were all over the companies enormous prospects a while back.
Plop- plop.
"This is the MM's/shorts oldest trick in the book...driving the $$$ down before imminent news in order to scare weak-kneed investors out of their positions."
Been hearing the likes of that for years. Just look at an ipix chart. It's always outside forces to some who do not question inside forces(management), and for their own personal gain I believe.
Appears this ship(ipix), and it's passengers are sunk. Nary an inquisitive thought.
The crew, and Capt. Fantastic, has aborted to the life rafts, apparently.
"If B succeeds this month, add Merck to the list of suitors. B fills the gap in their therapeutic lineup, assuming they actually have one."
Hopefully you are right, but that's a big if given past company results.
If they(ipix) had a decent b.o.d they would have installed top managers given their phenomenal arsenal, as well as given it's current leader the boot.
Talk about pissing in the wind.
"Leo drags out the sham for months and months and when will he ever tell his company owners- me and you-that the trial failed?"
The Gold Standard(continues to charge forward? At sh's expense).
?????. The Gold Standard(continues to charge forward? At sh's expense).
"Merck drug will be obsolite before it hits the market. B will have a higher effectiveness rate for the full range of cases. Moderate to severe."
Very speculative(to paraphrase a Stivie Wonder song) on two fronts.
Twasn't my quote, as implied by you. Nice try... Trace it back... not difficult.
Thanks for that response. I hate abbreviations. Not all Know what they mean.
"Patient received B under CU and didn’t become sick until 8/12. Last FU call for trial was 7/30. Patient was independent of 120 person trial."
Please define CU and FU, thanks
.
"They're long gone. He's GETTING shares and options without reporting nowadays. Who knows what he's selling..."
Someone does, not only him.
"You hit the nail on the head. They have to find something (without proof) to explain the SP since they'll never say anything bad about Leo/IPIX. Their mindset is still at 10 years ago when the total OS was under 100M and the daily volume was under 100K shares. So when the daily volume is 500K shares or more, they claim most of them are fake/naked because longs they know are not selling therefore no one is selling. They assume the 350M shares dilution were all absorbed by longs. Even at 1M shares the daily volume is ~0.2% of the total OS. I guess they think 0.2% is too much selling so they can't be real shares."
I put one of your sentences in bold type. They is he (LEO). It's a skeleton company run by an under taker who no not knows how to handle a shovel or dig a hole.
He's likely selling his 11 cent options w/o reporting. This is the otc, right?
"I thought of making contact for an attempt at an answer, but, I don't expect positive outcomes from such late stage usage. Plus, my focus is elsewhere these days and decided against even trying.
Our world is so upside down now. Hoping all of you are doing well overall and that the Brilacidin phII Covid trial shows positive results."
You have a direct line to the fearless leader of ipix/ctix- I know that personally via history.
Why the sudden dis-interest based upon company promising statements?
"I wonder how many have been given Brilacidin for compassionate use? Just the two some found on FB or are there others? It will be interesting to find out."
I wonder too and am surprised no body, who can, have addressed that very question given it's reported benefits.
The "man" behind the curtain remains silent to such questions, and most others.
"Menon has two potential actions against IPIX, both of which would succeed.
ps. Based on the financials they're still paying off the lease. What else could explain the reduction in the total of Operating lease - current and long term liabilities on the balance sheet?"
Oh, please stop you meany. We here no not yearn for the truth. Killjoy(if that's a word) proclamations of a many company questionable, unanswered, statements have been proven effective in outing slippery tongues.
Keep up the pressure til The Rooster finally speaks with the flock directly, or forced to speak with authorities.
"Well if they are alive it worked, if they say they are doing better that is spectacular, means it’s a miracle drug. As a last ditch therapy , they are dealing with organs failing…I just hope it’s true! FDA and Drs will know, look for increasing compassionate use requests."
Let's hope the "wise" leader of this company has the wherewithal to contact major Boston Hospitals(he's close enough to contact them by homing pigeons if he can not afford the stamps) and those in the surrounding area. One of my sister's is Director of case management (she's also a long time RN). I'll ask her if they've heard of B, and give her the company phone number.
I have a long winded brother who would take ten minutes to simply ask "please pass the potatoes" at dinner time.
Hoping sh's hear something from the company soon rather than reading the equivalent of the Constitution preamble by an anonymous person.
"Marie Veverka Wolfe is employed at the hospital in Jupiter. ...."
In what capacity does she work? Not as doctor from what I can tell of hospital searches in Jupiter, FL.
You are referring to Jupiter, FL, correct, and not the planet?
"Nope, but after scrolling down, there is another woman receiving it also. By the look of their profiles neither have died yet that is no sad news up to this date and they both started receiving it on 13 September. It’s funny that both of them are from Florida where Leo lives."
So, these two you note who have recieved B for C in Florida. Neither of the two U.S B trial sites are in Florida which indicates they a hospital where Bhas been administered under the cti website(which lists all hospitals as ipci trial site).
As klinger from MASH would oft say, holy Toledo(a city listed as a trial site).
The wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round...(everyone,please join in and sing along).
